DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER

"Harry, Susan, hurry up," Amelia called out to her children at 10:15 am.

For, they were going to go to the fair, and it was time to leave the house.

Harry and Susan bounded over to their Mummy and bent down to put on their shoes. After they had finished, with a little help from their Mummy, they ran over to the blue car.

Remus had decided to start searching for Peter Pettigrew, starting with pet stores and so, he would not be joining them that day. If Peter Pettigrew had really faked his death, then it would mean that he was missing a finger. So all that Remus had to do was to find a rat with a missing finger and check whether it was Pettigrew or not. Hopefully, it would not be too difficult.

Amelia asked, "Did you go potty?"

Both of them replied, "Yes!"

Amelia said, "Good, now come on in."

Amelia opened the doors and got Harry and Susan strapped up in their booster seats. Another few moments and she was backing out of the driveway and turning onto the road.

A little distance away, another car was driving towards them. It passed them, and Harry and Susan saw a familiar girl wave towards them.

Soon, at 10:45 in London, Amelia parked the car in a parking lot just outside a large fairground. Everyone got out and started walking towards the fair, holding hands.

Just as they had reached the entrance, they heard a cry, "Harry, Susan!"

At that moment, they were hugged by none other than Hannah Abbott, who had just reached along with her parents, and had been waiting for her friends.

Harry and Susan hugged her back.

They then looked up at her mother who was just behind her and said, "Hi Aunt Emily."

Emily Abbott smiled at them and said, "Well hello little ones. I see you've made it."

Just then, a blue Ford Anglia drove in front of the entrance and stopped, and a red headed boy came running out, followed by his brothers, a little sister and his mother.

"Harry, Susan, Hannah!" Ron screamed in delight as he bounded over towards them.

They hugged each other.

A few minutes later, everyone saw none other than Molly's husband, Arthur Weasley, walking towards them after having parked the car.

As he reached them, Ron said to Harry, "That's my Daddy."

Molly bent down to Harry's level and smilingly said, "This is my husband Arthur. You can call him Uncle Arthur."

Harry said, "Hi Uncle Arthur."

Susan and Hannah copied him.

Arthur Weasley smilingly replied, "Hello Harry, Susan and Hannah. I've heard about you. It's very nice to meet you."

With that, he held out his hand.

Harry took it and Arthur shook it gently.

Just then, Mr. Abbott came over and smilingly said, "Quite nice to have you joining us today."

Arthur replied, "Nice to be joining you, Mr. Abbott."

Mr. Abbott replied, "You may call me Dennis."

A few minutes later, Harry, Ron, Percy and the twins were on a merry-go-round and the girls were trying a shooting game to get a prize.

Susan eventually won a stuffed unicorn, and Hannah got a nice pink bear.

Harry, Ron and the twins also had their turn at the shooting game. The twins scored well and got a toy car. Unfortunately, Ron and Harry missed and did not get any prize.

"Don't worry Harry and Ron," Amelia assured them, "You tried. Games are meant to be fun, not about winning and losing."

A few minutes later, Ron pointed to a roller coaster nearby and let out a cry of delight. He started jumping up and down saying, "Can we go? Can we go?"

Amelia made an enquiry and came back saying, "I'm afraid not now. You need to be a little older for this."

Ron and Harry looked downcast.

Amelia smiled and said, "It's alright, don't worry, we'll find something to play."

And a few minutes later, they found a bumper cars area and had fun.

After a few hours of games, the group sat down at a table to have lunch.

Luckily, Molly had made plenty of nice food, and Amelia managed to get some nice food items from the food stalls to share with everyone.

Harry was sitting in between Ron and Molly, and Percy was sitting next to Ron. Just opposite to Harry was Amelia, sitting in between Susan and Hannah.

The twins were in between their parents, Dennis was sitting next to Arthur and Emily was sitting next to her daughter.

As they were eating, Harry saw Percy feeding a French fry to a rat in his lap.

Ron, upon noticing Harry staring at it said, "That's Scabbers. He's our pet rat."

Harry smiled even as Ron helped him pet the rat. Scabbers didn't seem to mind at all. He just ate out of Percy's hand.

Just then, Amelia noticed them, and the rat. Seeing it made her remember what Remus had said the previous day and wonder if this could be Peter Pettigrew? After all, Peter's animagus form was that of a rat.

She spoke, "Percy, how long has your pet been in the family?"

Percy replied, "Two and a half years."

Amelia couldn't help feeling suspicious upon hearing that. If this rat had been in the family for two years, then it was even more likely that this was Pettigrew.

She turned to Molly and said smilingly, "Molly, that pet rat of yours looks quite cute. May I hold him?"

Molly replied, "Oh of course."

She was just about to turn to Percy when suddenly, something happened.

Harry started whimpering.

Molly and Amelia forgot what they were doing and turned to Harry to find out what was wrong.

Molly put an arm around Harry and asked, "Sweetie, what's wrong?"

Amelia asked, "Harry, are you okay?"

Harry turned back and pointed his finger in a particular direction. A few seconds later, he buried his face into Molly's side.

Molly asked, "Harry, what's over there? Something bothering you?"

Harry whimpered saying, "Uncle Vernon."

Just then, Amelia who had looked ahead, the same direction as Harry had pointed in, realized what was bothering Harry and sighed, "Oh no!"

Emily and Arthur had noticed what was going on and Emily asked, "What's wrong?"

Amelia replied, "Those people that Harry just pointed out are the Dursleys."

Arthur asked, "The Dursleys? But what about those people? Wait, just a minute, I remember you telling me the other day that Harry's previous guardians were cruel to him. Are those people the ones that…"

Molly gasped and said, "I remember you told me Arthur. The aunt is Lily's sister, right?"

Amelia replied, "Yes, and those people, Harry's aunt, uncle and cousin are the Dursleys, who treated him so cruelly."

Sure enough, some distance away, Vernon, Petunia, and Dudley, were standing near an ice cream stall. And there was quite a long line. Standing with them, was a large beefy woman with a bit of a moustache and another boy.

Dudley was whining, "I want ice cream now!"

Petunia cooed, "Don't worry sweetums, Mummy will buy you a very large ice cream. We just have to wait in line for a few minutes Diddydums."

Vernon grumbled, "These people, delaying everyone!"

The woman standing near him suddenly spoke up, "Hold your horses Dudders, why don't we take a look around while your Mummy and Daddy wait here?"

Petunia agreed saying, "That's a good idea Dudley. You, Piers and Aunt Marge can take a look around and we'll call you when it's our turn."

Harry suddenly moaned, "Not Aunt Marge."

Amelia asked, "Is that lady standing with them Marge?"

Harry nodded.

The previous day, when Amelia had gone to get Vernon and Petunia to sign the documents regarding the change in guardians, she had found the house to be nearly empty and a truck outside, which meant that the Dursleys were moving. Only Vernon had been in the house, as Petunia and Dudley had gone ahead of him to stay with Vernon's sister Marge.

Amelia had not heard of this lady before, but from the way Harry was reacting, it seemed that this lady Marge had been mean to him, just like Vernon and Petunia.

Just then, Dudley turned and saw Harry. Upon seeing him, he immediately called out, "Piers, its freak!"

The boy called Piers turned to look at Harry with a mean expression on his face.

He and Dudley started towards Harry yelling, "Freak, freak…"

Just then, Ron yelled, "STOP IT!"

Dudley and Piers were taken aback.

Petunia, Vernon and the woman called Marge, upon hearing what was going on, turned to look at Harry. Petunia narrowed her eyes in disgust and Marge gave a look of contempt that angered Amelia and Molly.

Molly put an arm protectively across Harry and Ron and spoke sternly, raising her voice, "You boys had better stop that! He's a child like you, not some toy!"

Just then, she heard Petunia cutting in, "Don't you dare speak to my son like that."

Molly stood up and said, "Then you'd better teach your son to stop hitting people, not that you'll ever do that, will you? But you'll blame Harry instead, won't you?"

Just then, there were screams at the table.

Dudley and Piers had seen Scabbers in Percy's lap and had grabbed him by his tail and neck, pulling him away before Percy could realize what had happened.

Scabbers squeaked and struggled as Piers, Dudley and Percy fought over Scabbers.

Petunia shrieked, "AIEEEE, NO DUDDYKINS!"

Just then, Scabbers somehow managed to turn around and it looked like he was going to bite Dudley and Piers.

Just before Molly could intervene, Vernon rushed forward and snatched Scabbers from Dudley and Piers yelling, "DUDDERS GIVE ME THAT!"

With a meaty hand, he grabbed Scabbers and dashed him to the ground. He then gave the rat a vicious kick that sent him flying off towards the back of a tent nearby.

Arthur stood up and shouted, "That was my son's rat!"

Vernon growled viciously at him yelling, "You should have thought about that before letting it attack my boys!"

Arthur yelled, "ATTACK?! SCABBERS DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! YOUR SON JUST TRIED TO SNATCH IT AND HURT IT!"

Just then, they heard screams.

Dudley and Piers were running towards Scabbers to trample him and Harry, Ron and Susan were running towards them, screaming and trying to save Scabbers before that poor cute mouse got hurt.

Just as they had gotten closer, something much unexpected happened.

Instead of a rat, there was a short balding man, with a rat like face yelling, "KEEP AWAY FROM ME YOU BRATS!"

Dudley and Piers screamed and ran away at once.

Peter Pettigrew was lying in pain. That blasted Muggle had injured him badly. If he had not transformed into a man, those boys would have trampled him.

And then, he looked a little towards the side and saw Harry, standing there, with Ron and Susan, who had all screamed and held each other upon seeing the transformation. Harry was now watching him warily, with Ron and Susan clinging on to him.

"Harry," Pettigrew spoke in a sickly sweet voice, "You look so much like your father."

Suddenly, someone cried out, "Stupefy," and a bolt of red light struck Pettigrew in the chest.

Harry, Ron and Susan looked up to see Amelia standing beside them.

Suddenly, Amelia turned to them and spoke commandingly, "Harry, Ron, Susan, go stand with Aunt Molly."

"Mummy," Harry started but Amelia sternly said, "Do as I say."

The children went up to Aunt Molly, who instantly kneeled down to their level and wrapped her arms protectively around them.

Arthur moved over to Amelia's side, shocked, and spoke, "I can't believe it! Is that…"

"Peter Pettigrew? Yes it is, in the flesh. I knew Sirius wasn't the traitor." Amelia finished for him.

Arthur stared at the true traitor in shock for a few moments before turning to Amelia and saying with panic, "Amelia, I swear, I had no idea that…"

"I believe you Arthur. I'm sure you had no idea of who this rat really was. You're a good man." Amelia assured him.

Ginny, frightened by what was going on was crying, and Emily was doing her best to comfort her.

Ginny cried out, "Scabby gone! Scary man!"

Emily hugged her saying, "Baby, don't worry, I've got you. That bad scary man can't get you."

Fred and George stared in disbelief at Pettigrew and said simultaneously, "Wicked!"

Amelia heard that and said seriously, "Yes, wicked indeed. Peter Pettigrew was the spy all this time. He was the Death Eater that betrayed James and Lily and killed those Muggles, not Sirius."

Molly tightened her hold around Harry, Ron and Susan and with tears coming to her eyes, cried out, "To think he could have murdered our children in their beds! How horrible! Oh, the horror of it…"

Just then, everyone heard a loud voice booming, "BOY!"

They turned and saw Vernon Dursley, his face purple with rage.

Vernon yelled, "YOU BOY HAVE RUINED MY DUDLEY'S DAY! APOLOGIZE TO HIM BOY!"

Just then, Dennis walked up to him and asked demandingly, "Are you Vernon Dursley?"

Vernon replied arrogantly, "Yes, so what?"

"So this," Dennis replied and punched Vernon in the gut, causing him to fall down.

Petunia shrieked upon seeing that.

She yelled, "How dare you attack my husband!"

Dennis retorted, "Who saw it fit to abuse a child. Don't think we don't know about you! You abused him simply because he was magical."

Petunia narrowed her eyes at Harry and said, "You've been telling all sorts of lies I see. We've taken good care of you all these years and this is how you repay us? Well of course, I knew you were 'magical'. After all, your mother, my sister was 'talented'. Our parent, your grandparents were proud of her for being a witch. But I was the only one who saw her for what she was, a freak. Then she married that Potter and had you, and of course, you had to be as abnormal, freakish, and then they got blown up and we got landed with you! You caused so much trouble for Dudley. And now you want to make it look like we are vile. But of course, that's what you are you little wretch!"

The next moment, she was lying on the ground.

Molly had flown into a rage and slapped her.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Molly yelled, "YOU DISGUST ME! SAYING THOSE WORDS TO A POOR INNOCENT CHILD YOU BITCH!"

Marge at this point spoke arrogantly, "It was good of my brother to take him in. And the runt that he is, he's been spreading lies. If something's wrong with the breed, there's something wrong with the pup. That boy needs some good beatings to do him good. He doesn't deserve to be coddled for being bad and ungrateful!"

Amelia called out, "Dennis, watch Pettigrew, don't let him escape. Stun him if he wakes up."

Then, striding over to Marge, she held her wand, the tip nearly touching the other woman's chin and hissed, full of rage, "Speak that way about my son, and I'll kill you!"

Marge, taken aback by the venom in Amelia's voice, stepped back.

Amelia moved over to Arthur and said, "You and Dennis will have to help me get Pettigrew to the Ministry. We'll have to get a healer for him too. I'll have to get aurors to search your house. You never know what he might have tampered with."

Arthur said, "Please do. If Pettigrew left anything dark in the Burrow, it needs to be removed, but what about the children?"

Amelia replied, "We'd better send them home. They can stay at my place. Molly and Emily can take them home. There should just be enough space in our cars. Molly can drive, right?"

"She doesn't have a driver's license." Arthur replied.

"Oh well," Amelia replied, "Dennis and I can get Pettigrew to the Ministry. You and Emily can drive the children to my place and then you can join us."

"Alright," Arthur replied.

Amelia then turned to the Dursleys and said, "You'd better go home. And don't forget, I'll be seeing you in court very soon."

Vernon and Petunia paled at that.
