8th July 1984

It was a glorious day. For this was the day that Sirius and Amelia would be married to each other.

Harry woke up in the morning in his bedroom around 8 am. As he stirred, he looked up to find his Mummy standing above him and saying, "It's time to wake up sweetheart."

Harry looked at Amelia who was currently in her nightclothes. Usually, she had a maroon robe when she came to kiss him good morning.

Harry held out his arms and slowly sat up. Amelia sat on the bed and taking him in her arms, she rocked him from side to side and hugged him and kissed his cheeks.

She then said, "Good morning my child. Let's go find Susan and saw good morning to her."

She went into Susan's bedroom with Harry in her arms and placing him on the bed, looked lovingly at Susan who was awake and beaming at her.

Amelia picked up Susan, rocked her in her arms and kissed her and hugged her the same way as she had done with Harry before saying, "Good morning my child."

Susan said, "Good morning Mummy. Today, Daddy is marrying you."

Amelia said, "Yes, Daddy and I are getting married today, and you and Harry will be our darling daughter and son."

The previous day, there had been preparations in the backyard. Harry had been appointed as the ring bearer and had been practicing with his Dad Sirius and Uncle Remus. Susan had been appointed as the flower girl and had been practicing with her Mummy and Aunt Emily.

A few ladies who were Amelia's friends from Hogwarts and the DMLE had come over to help prepare, and Amelia had introduced Harry to them. Of course, they had looked upon him as a child. One of them, Melinda Smith had cooed all over Harry and Susan and when Harry had been taking a break from practice, she had chased him all around and had pretended to eat him.

Since that night had been the pre-wedding night, Bones Residence had been emptied of all males minus Harry as he was still a small child at half past eight in the evening. Sirius, Remus, Arthur and the Weasley boys had stayed with Dennis at his house, and Molly, Emily, Melinda, Hannah and Ginny had stayed with Amelia, Harry and Susan.

Dumbledore, Minerva, and Snape had been invited. Of course, Amelia had sent an invitation to the Minister out of respect, but had also requested her to come in person without any reporters to which, Millicent Bagnold had respectfully agreed.

Crouch of course had not gotten an invitation. He would have though, had he not been so ruthless and cruel so as to put an innocent man in Azkaban and try to keep him there.

This day would not only be the day of Sirius and Amelia's wedding, but would also be a day of adoption. For, Amelia would be officially adopting Harry, Sirius' godson, as her son, and Sirius would be officially adopting Susan, Amelia's niece, as his daughter.

Harry James Potter would be recognized as Harry James Potter Bones Black, and Susan Marie Bones as Susan Marie Bones Black.

Currently, Amelia who was still in Susan's bedroom, said, "It's time to get your teeth brushed and then we can say hello to Hannah and Ginny after your bath."

A few minutes later, Harry and Susan were standing in the tub with their clothes off, and Amelia was ready to bathe them.

Because it was a wedding day and others had to take their baths, Amelia had to bathe Harry and Susan quickly, so she decided to give them a shower.

She first turned on the knobs to start the water and adjusted the temperature before switching to shower mode.

"Ahhhh", Harry cried out in excitement.

Amelia said, "It's raining. It's like rain."

Susan jumped up and landed on her feet. Amelia quickly caught her and said, "Don't jump in the shower. You'll slip and fall!"

Some minutes later, Harry and Susan were standing in Amelia's bedroom, dressed up. Harry was in his suit with a snitch shaped bow tie, and Susan was dressed in a bright yellow dress.

Amelia smiled lovingly as she looked at them.

Just then, the children saw Hannah who was wearing a navy blue dress, standing nearby.

They rushed over and said hello to each other before going downstairs.

As soon as they reached the dining room, Harry saw none other than Ginny who was wearing a mint green dress near the back door.

"Hi Ginny," Harry spoke.

Ginny looked and him and cried out, "HAWWY!" before rushing towards him to hug him.

Harry hugged her back even as Ginny pressed a kiss to his cheek.

Just then, he heard Aunt Molly who was nearby saying, "Good morning Harry. Breakfast is being served outside. Come on and eat."

Harry looked behind him but couldn't see his Mummy anywhere. He called out, "Mummy, Mummy!"

Molly said, "Mummy has to take a bath and get ready for the wedding. She has to hurry up, so I will be watching you. Now come on, Ron is waiting for you."

She led them outside to the backyard where some chairs and a small stage with a canopy had been set up. The dining area had been arranged under and near the treehouse, so Molly led them there.

She led him to a table where he saw Ron and Aunt Melinda, a smiling woman with blonde hair sitting with a brown haired woman and a man whom Harry recognized to be Aunt Andromeda and Uncle Teddy whom he had met a few days ago. Aunt Andromeda, or rather, Aunt Andi, had taken a liking to him at once and had chased him and Susan around. Sitting along with them, was a purple haired big girl.

Ron noticed them and cried out, "Harry, come eat!"

Melinda looked at Harry and Susan and got up to kneel down at their level and cooed, "Ahhhh, Good morning cuties! Aww, you look so cute, and so delicious!"

She ended her statement with wide evil eyes and an evil laugh.

Harry and Susan cried out, "NO!"

Aunt Melinda smiled and hugging them, she said, "Don't worry, I won't eat you. Instead, I'll keep you safe, so that others can't eat you, especially not Evil Aunty Andromeda!"

Aunt Andromeda looked at Harry and Susan smilingly and said, "Harry, Susan, I'm not going to eat you, but Aunt Melinda might, after the wedding of course."

Uncle Teddy laughed and spoke, "Andi, Melinda, come on, stop scaring them. They've not even eaten their breakfast. Hello Harry and Susan; come over and sit."

Melinda placed Harry in between herself and Ron, and Susan on her other side between herself and the girl.

The girl looked smilingly at Harry and waved.

Harry and Susan waved back and said, "Hi!"

The girl spoke, "Wotcher little ones. My name is sadly Nymphadora Tonks but please just call me Tonks."

Harry beamed naughtily and cried out, "Sad Nympha!"

"No," Tonks cried out.

Aunt Andromeda said, "Harry, Susan, you call just call her Dora. She likes that."

"Okay Aunty," Harry and Susan replied, "Hi Dora."

Tonks said, "Dora's alright with me, for you. You can call me Dora."

Harry and Susan giggled and Susan chanted, "But what if I say Nymph?"

Dora replied, "Then I will turn into a tickle monster! Or even worse, I'll become an evil witch and eat you!"

"NO!" Harry cried out.

"Dora," Andromeda admonished, "Stop being silly! Poor Harry is not even four years old."

"But Mum," Tonks protested, "You used to eat me when I was at that age. And I heard you tried to eat Harry yourself."

"Whatever," Andromeda said.

She then turned to Harry and Susan and smilingly spoke, "Harry, Susan, I'll get you some fruit, pancakes and hash browns. They're really good. Do you want some milk or juice?"

Harry replied, "Milk."

Susan replied, "Milk."

Aunt Andromeda said, "Good boy, good girl. You need milk to be healthy. Wait here."

With that, she got up and returned with Molly, both of them carrying some plates of pancakes, fruit and hash browns. Melinda who had gone with them, returned with two small mugs of hot cocoa.

Setting the food down, they distributed it to Harry and Susan. Ron had already gotten his food. Melinda set the mugs in front of Harry and Susan and said, "There you go!"

Harry and Susan both said their thanks and began to eat.

Sometime later, Harry and Susan saw none other than Uncle Remus coming towards them.

Remus went up to them and patted their heads saying, "Good morning Harry and Susan. I was just looking for you. Are you happy?"

Harry and Susan cried out, "Yes!"

Remus said, "Well, you'd better eat quickly. We need to get ready, and you're the ring bearer, so you have to be there."

Harry said, "Okay."

Just then, he heard someone else say, "Hello my little pups."

He turned to see Sirius standing behind him.

Susan called out, "Paddy! Today, you will become Daddy!"

Sirius hugged her and said, "Yes, and I will take care of you my little flower."

He turned to Harry and gave him a hug saying, "You too Prongslet."

Just then, Aunt Melinda who had finished eating spoke, "Harry, Susan, now I have to help your Mummy and Aunt Emily. Oh, and Susan, you'd better come with me. You're the flower girl. Harry, you will have to be with Paddy and Uncle Remus, okay? You and Susan will see each other very soon, okay?"

"Okay," they both replied, feeling slightly disappointed that they would have to go separately to help after eating.

A little while later, Harry was with Sirius and Remus who were making sure he knew what he was supposed to do.

Suddenly, he saw huge man with shaggy hair and a huge wild tangled beard standing nearby and looking at them.

He pulled Sirius' trousers and pointed to the man.

Sirius smilingly knelt down at Harry's level and said, "Harry, this is Hagrid. He was also a good friend of Mama and Dada."

Just at that moment, the huge man came over and shouted excitedly, "Hello Sirius Black, Remus Lupin! Good to see ya too! And is this little Harry here?"

Sirius called out, "Hagrid, nice seeing you here. Harry seems to be curious about you. Pity he was asleep the last time you came over."

"Yeah," Hagrid replied, "To give ya yer bike right after ya were freed. Great one that is! Amelia didn' look so happy though."

Sirius laughed and said, "Oh yeah, I've driven her crazy on that bike several times. I used to do all sorts of things on it to annoy her for fun. And then she once threatened to break up with me! Thankfully, she did not!"

Remus said, "Amelia told me you wanted to take Harry and Susan for a ride on it, into the sky. I certainly do not approve Padfoot."

"Moony, come on!" Sirius protested, "You too?!"

"Yes indeed!" Remus retorted.

Soon, it was time for the ceremony.

As Sirius and Remus stood on the stage as the groom and best man, Harry watched as the bride's party came along. He saw the bridesmaids, Aunt Emily and another woman, both in simple cream colored dresses, and then he knew it was his turn. With a gentle nudge from Aunt Andromeda who had been instructed to remind him when it was his turn, he walked on, followed by the flower girl, Susan who scattered flower petals with every step as the music played on.

He felt tempted to look back and see where his Mummy was, but he had been told not to, so he did not.

Finally, they reached the stage, walking up the steps which were luckily not steep.

Reaching his spot, he turned around and was delighted to see his Mummy walking up the steps in a beautiful white gown and a ring of flowers which she was wearing on her head like a crown, being led down by the aisle by Aunt Melinda, as she was best friends with Amelia at work, which Harry knew.

Amelia took her place beside Sirius, and the ceremony began.

Harry and Susan waited and waited for it to be over so that they could go hug their Mummy and Daddy, but it was going on forever and ever.

Soon, they wanted to sit down.

Just then, the wedding minister, a middle aged man with grey hair spoke, "Do you, Sirius Orion Black, take Amelia Susan Bones to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do," Sirius replied.

The minister then said, "Do you, Amelia Susan Bones, take Sirius Orion Black to your lawfully wedded husband?"

Amelia smilingly replied, "I do."

Then came the proclamation, "And thus, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Sirius and Amelia beamed and holding each other, they kissed, causing a chorus of whoops and shouts of delight.

Once everyone had settled a little bit after the kiss, the official announced, "It is with great pride that we are here, not just to celebrate the union of two individuals, but also the coming together of a family. This morning, Amelia and Sirius signed adoption papers. Now, officially by both the wizarding and Muggle worlds, Amelia is recognized as the adoptive mother to Sirius' godson and now son, Harry James Potter, and Sirius is recognized as the adoptive father of Amelia's niece and now daughter, Susan Marie Bones. Henceforth, the children shall be recognized as Harry James Potter Bones Black, and Susan Marie Bones Black."

The assembled guests burst into cheers and applause, and Harry and Susan rushed forward and hugged their parents crying out, "Mummy! Daddy!"

Sirius and Amelia beamed and hugged their children, resulting in even more cheers and some cooing.

Sirius and Amelia knew that they could never replace Harry's and Susan's biological parents, but they would love them as their own.

Soon, the time came to dance and Sirius led Amelia to the dance floor.

As they danced, they looked so happy.

Harry noticed several people there. There were the Weasleys, Hannah, his Grampa Dumbledore, Aunt Minnie, Uncle Sev, and a middle aged witch with her hair in a bun, dressed in pink (the Minister for Magic). He also noticed a chubby boy whom he had seen a few minutes before the ceremony. His Daddy had explained to him that this was Neville Longbottom who lived with his grandmother.

And then, he looked at his parents and noticed Amelia beckoning Harry and Susan to come to her.

They rushed forward and Amelia knelt down at their level and hugged them both and kissed their cheeks. She and Sirius then held their hands and they all danced together for a while.

During lunchtime, Harry and Susan sat in between their parents and ate with happy faces, and Amelia fed them some pieces of wedding cake with her own hands.

Later on, when the guests minus Andromeda, Ted and Tonks had gone home, Harry and Susan who were now in their pajamas were playing in the playroom with Tonks.

Aunt Andromeda came in and said, "Dora, these kids are looking tired. And it's almost evening. I think we should let them have a nap."

Harry suddenly cried out, "Not sleepy."

Aunt Andromeda went up to him, sat down and placed him in her lap.

Kissing his cheek, she said, "You look very tired, and you need to have a nap. Otherwise, you won't wake up on time for dinner."

Harry replied, "Not hungry."

Aunt Andromeda said, "But I'm hungry."

Susan piped up, "Eat."

Aunt Andromeda said, "Well, since you want me to eat, I will have to eat something, and I want something that's small and sweet. Now what is the closest thing like that? What is small and sweet?"

Harry cried out, "Chocolate!"

"Nope," Andromeda replied, "Not chocolate, it is even sweeter. Shall I tell you what it is?"

Susan said, "Yes."

Aunt Andromeda looked at Harry and Susan lovingly and then excitedly cried out, "YOU!"

With that, she held Harry and reached out for Susan, who ran away with Tonks following her.

Andromeda said, "Now Harry, I think I'm going to eat you!"

With that, she laid him down on her lap and growled like a tigress before pretending to eat Harry's tummy. He squealed and squirmed while Andromeda nipped and nuzzled him.

Later on, she stopped and kissed Harry on his forehead before rocking him and whispering, "Now, go to sleep."

Sometime later, it was night and Harry and Susan were getting ready to go to bed.

He was already in his bed and Sirius who was with him had just turned off the lights.

Sirius leaned and kissed Harry's forehead gently before whispering, "Goodnight baby Prongslet, I love you."

Harry whispered, "I love you Daddy."

Amelia who had just put Susan to bed came in even as Sirius exited the bedroom to say goodnight to Susan.

She moved over to Harry and kissing him, she whispered, "Goodnight Harry my baby, I love you."

Harry replied, "I love you Mummy."
