DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER.

It was the day after the wedding and the Black family of four was in London Heathrow airport to catch a flight. Sirius and Amelia had explained that it was for a special vacation called a honeymoon. Of course, Harry had gotten scared that his Mummy and Daddy would leave him and Susan and go for their honeymoon, but Amelia and Sirius had hugged him and had assured him that they would never leave them like that and go away.

It was certainly a good thing that they had gotten Muggle passports earlier.

They had applied for them a month ago, and they had had to do some explaining to the British consulate regarding the surnames, as the wedding and adoptions had not happened yet at that time. Luckily, things had gone well, and they had received their passports a week before the wedding.

Harry and Susan had been allowed to pick some toys for the trip, and they had of course picked a few planes, cars, the airport play mat, a plush lion and a plush welsh green dragon that Hagrid had given them the previous day.

Amelia had also packed two board games that she, Sirius and the children could play with. Of course, they weren't going to spend the entire time sitting and playing board games!

Harry had wanted to take his broom, but Amelia and Sirius had told him a firm no. After all, they were going to be with several Muggles in a hotel in Hawaii which was their honeymoon destination.

Currently, Harry was staring with curiosity as some big suitcases that Sirius had placed on a conveyer belt at a counter where Amelia said they had to check in.

He cried out, "They are going away!"

The lady behind the counter smilingly explained, "Don't worry. The bags will be safe. It's just that they need to be kept in a safe place on the airplane. They're too big to be carried on the plane with you. When you land, they will come back to you. So don't worry. They're not going away from you."

"Oh," Harry said, "Okay."

The lady turned to Sirius and Amelia and handed them their boarding passes saying, "Have a nice flight with British Airways."

Sirius and Amelia thanked them and left the area, with their children clinging on to Sirius' jeans.

A little distance away, Sirius picked up Harry and Susan and said, "You little ones, are you hungry?"

Susan said, "Little bit."

Harry said, "Yes."

Amelia pulled out a couple of bananas from Sirius' black backpack and peeled one for each child. Harry and Susan ate them happily.

Since the first flight from London to San Francisco was at 10:45 AM, Amelia and Sirius had woken up the kids early at 7 in the morning to get them bathed and get to the airport. Already, it was 9:15. Although there had not been much traffic on the way to the airport, the queue had been quite long. It was certainly a good thing that they had packed some bananas, cranberries and nuts. So far, they had all munched on those on and off.

Amelia spoke, "Sirius, we really should get past security check as soon as possible. You never know how long it could take."

Sirius replied, "You're right. Well Harry, Susan, Amy, off we go."

And with that, after a few cranberries, they set off.

As expected, the line was quite long. Harry's and Susan's small lion and bunny backpacks had to be removed and loaded onto the security belt for analysis.

They then moved through some kind of rectangle thing with lights and a man dressed like a policeman rubbed their sides.

Sirius explained, "It's alright. He's just checking to make sure that we're not carrying anything that we shouldn't be carrying. Like a sharp knife in our pockets or something."

The security official said, "Yes, so that if there are any bad people or dangerous things around, we can catch them and no one will get hurt."

"Okay," Harry said.

Susan said, "But we are good kids."

The official smiled and said, "Don't worry, you are very good kids. Be good, always. Now here you go."

With that, he handed them two security badge stickers.

Sirius reminded, "What do you say?"

Harry and Susan said simultaneously, "Thank you."

Sirius smiled as he, Amelia and the kids collected their carry-on bags. It had certainly been a good idea for the parents to keep their wands in Amelia's purse during security check.

Amelia checked her watch as she held Harry's hand and Sirius held Susan's. She said, "Sirius, it's already 9:40, and boarding will start at 10:15 as departure is at 10:45. We have only 35 minutes to find our gate and get something to eat."

Sirius checked his boarding pass and said, "Our gate is B-20. Hopefully there will be some café close by."

Amelia knelt down to the children's level and said, "First, we need to go through some rules. Harry, Susan, what should you do if you don't see us or Uncle Remus or someone you know?"

Susan answered, "Go to a policeman or a fireman."

Harry piped up, "Say I am lost and Mummy's name is Amelia Black, and Daddy's name is Sirius Black."

Susan said, "Or stay where we are."

Amelia said, "Very good, and if someone you don't know grabs you?"

Susan answered, "Shout 'help, stranger, stranger, help' and run to where there are people; a shop or policeman or fireman."

Sirius said, "Very good Susan and Harry, well done."

Amelia quickly adjusted the white coat she was wearing over her white long sleeved shirt, even as Sirius adjusted his jacket which he was wearing over his black jumper.

He turned to Harry and Susan and asked, "Are you feeling cold?"

Susan said, "Yeah."

Sirius pulled out two sweaters, one yellow and one maroon. He put the yellow one on Susan and the maroon one on Harry.

Adjusting his backpack, as well as Harry's and Susan's, he grabbed the handle of a small suitcase even as Amelia took Harry's and Susan's hands in hers and they all proceeded towards their gate.

A few minutes later, they found their gate.

Harry and Susan pulled Amelia along with them towards the large window so that they could see the huge planes outside, overcome with excitement and curiosity.

Sirius placed the suitcase and his backpack in front of the closest row of seats and said, "Amy, you stay here with the kids. I'll just go check if there's a good café. I think I saw a couple on the way."

Amelia said, "Don't jump for pizza even if you see it!"

Sirius smilingly replied, "Don't worry. It'll be a good joint."

Sirius then left and started to check the corridor for good restaurants. And to his joy, he found a couple of cafés, both in different directions from the gate, but nearby all the same.

He went to the closest one and was about to observe the menu when he suddenly heard some kid whining, "Aunty, I want cookies now!"

He looked at the line and groaned.

For there, standing in the line were none other than Dudley Dursley and his Aunt Marge.

Sirius heard Marge saying commandingly, "Hold your horses Dudders. We do not eat cookies in the morning!"

"Aunty, I want a cookie!" Dudley screamed.

And then, Sirius saw something unexpected.

Marge gave Dudley a smack on his cheek and said, "If you don't behave properly, you won't get any cookies at all during the trip, and if you don't stop that behavior, then no story reading when it's bedtime in Majorca!"

Sirius chuckled and then backed out of the place.

The other café would be better. Amelia wouldn't want Harry and Susan near that walrus of a woman, after what she had done to Harry.

He walked off to the other one and saw a decently short line. There were just a few people, so it looked like they could grab a to-go meal in case they suddenly had to board.

He looked at the menu and was pleased to see what was written there.

He quickly went back to the gate where Amelia was pointing out a Boeing 747 that had parked at their gate. He called out, "Amy, I found one. It's really good. And the line is short so we can definitely get something."

Amelia turned and asked, "Sirius, are you sure we'll have enough time? It's already 9:50."

Sirius replied, "We should be able to get a to-go meal. It should be fine."

Then lowering his voice, he said, "Oh by the way, there's another one, but I saw someone there, Marge Dursley and Dudley Dursley."

"Oh no," Amelia groaned, "I hope she's not flying to San Francisco with us."

Sirius said, "I heard her say Majorca. She seems to be headed there."

"Oh good," Amelia exclaimed, "I don't want that woman near my daughter and son!"

Sirius said, "Oh and by the way, I saw her give Dudley a smack for throwing a tantrum over cookies and threatening to not tell any stories before bed. Perhaps Vernon and Petunia getting jailed finally made her realize that Dudley has to be disciplined."

A look of surprise came over Amelia's face and she said, "Sounds like Lucius Malfoy. He was one of Voldemort's top supporters, and then he claimed that he was imperiused. And now he donates huge sums of gold to the ministry for sake of fame."

"Oh yes, I get it." Sirius replied.

Amelia looked at her watch, gasped and said worriedly, "Sirius, we have to hurry. Harry and Susan are getting hungry. And it's almost 10 AM! What if there's a long line? Oh Sirius! We have to act quickly!"

They rushed off to the café and Amelia sighed in relief upon noticing only two people in the queue. She rushed to take her place, pulling the kids with her.

As they looked at the menu, Amelia asked, "Harry, Susan, what do you two want? There are pancakes, sandwiches, and croissants."

Harry and Susan stared at the board even as Amelia continued, "Shall we get blueberry pancakes? I think it'll be a good idea. And that club sandwich has a lot of vegetables. We should get that."

Harry cried out, "Fries!"

Amelia sternly replied, "No Harry, we are not getting fries now."

"Oh," Harry sighed, before saying, "Okay, blueberry pancakes."

Susan piped up, "Blueberry pancakes."

Just then, Sirius called out, "Amy, it's our turn now. Come on."

Amelia and Sirius bought some blueberry pancakes and club sandwiches, plus a few croissants. They also made sure to get a hot chocolate for each child and mocha for Amelia and Sirius each. It was all to-go.

Soon, they were all at the gate,

And then, they heard an announcement, "Good morning ladies and gentlemen, this is the pre-boarding flight announcement for flight BA 235 to San Francisco. We are now inviting those passengers with small children and any passengers requiring any special assistance to begin boarding at this time. Please have your boarding pass and identification ready. Regular boarding will begin in approximately ten minutes time. Thank you."

Amelia and Sirius closed the cartons quickly, cleaned the kids' faces with napkins, made sure they had all their bags with them, and proceeded to board their plane.

Harry stared curiously all around as they walked down the gangway to a big plane with a hump.

Soon, they were inside, and Harry straight away went towards the stairs to get to the top floor.

Sirius called out, "Hey careful, don't run. You may trip."

Harry looked back and said, "Okay Daddy," before climbing up the stairs with Susan holding his hand.

Sirius and Amelia followed their children as they walked up excitedly. They had business class tickets, and it was nice that their seats happened to be on the top floor.

The family stopped at the first and second rows on their right side, which contained two seats each.

Sirius and Amelia pulled out the foldable tables, placed all the food on them, and then proceeded to store their bags in the overhead compartments after taking out some leg warmers and books, which much to Harry's and Susan's delight, included Good Night Gorilla and Winnie the Pooh.

Afterwards, Amelia turned to Harry and said, "Harry, you and Sirius can sit together in the second row, and Susan and I will take the front row. After sometime, Sirius and I will switch and I'll be with you, okay?"

"Okay," Harry replied, slightly disappointed that he would not be right next to Susan or his Mummy, but his Daddy would be right next to him, and later on, his Mummy would be next to him and his Daddy next to Susan.

They took their seats, with Harry and Susan taking the window seats.

Sirius and Amelia then proceeded to feed the children the rest of their breakfast, and they themselves shared a sandwich.

Soon, the plane started moving and Harry stared out of the window curiously, sitting on his car seat, buckled up tightly.

Soon after the flight safety announcements, Harry's eyes widened with excitement as the plane went onto a runway, a dark one, just like on the airport play mat, and he heard the sound of the engines powering up.

The sound of the engines increased and the plane starting speeding, causing Harry to lean back fully, and soon, the plane tilted back and lifted off the ground.

"Look," Harry cried out, "We're off the ground! We're flying!"

"Yep Prongslet," Sirius said, "We are off the ground."

Harry's eyes remained wide as the plane soared through a layer of clouds which

Sometime later, Harry and Sirius were playing a game of tick-tack-toe when Harry suddenly made a sound indicating that he was uncomfortable.

Sirius asked, "Harry, are you ok? Is something wrong?"

Harry pointed to his ears.

Just then, a flight attendant nearby, a smiling woman with chocolate brown hair, came over and asked, "Hello, is something wrong?"

Harry pointed to his ears and whimpered.

The attendant spoke, "Oh dear! You're ears are getting blocked. That happens when you're flying really high up. Try swallowing."

Harry swallowed. Sirius, who was also feeling his ears getting blocked, did the same.

The attendant asked, "Better? Little better now?"

Harry said, "Yes."

The attendant suggested, "Whenever you feel that way, just swallow a few times. If that doesn't work, hold your nose and blow out through your ears. That works too."

Sirius said, "Thanks Ma'am."

A little while later, Amelia came up to Harry and Sirius and said, "Sirius, Harry, are you hungry? There's one more sandwich that we've got."

Sirius replied, "I think we'll take it. Thanks Amy."

As Amelia gave them the sandwich, she smiled at Harry and blew him a kiss.

Harry extended his arms, and luckily, since there was enough room, Amelia came and hugged him.

She asked, "Harry, do you want to sit with me for some time?"

Harry simply said, "Yeah."

Sirius smilingly said, "I guess it's time for Daddy to spend some time with Susan Prongslet, while you and Mummy enjoy yourselves. I'll be right in front of you. Don't worry baby."

With that, he got up and Amelia took the seat. Sirius then proceeded to sit next to where Susan was sitting with a Winnie the Pooh book in her hands.

Susan looked at Sirius and said, "Daddy, are you going to sit with me?"

Sirius replied, "Yes, it's time for some fun. Daddy and his beautiful princess flower. So shall I read to you?"

Susan said, "Okay. Is Mummy going to sit with Harry for one minute?"

Sirius chuckled and said, "Well, Mummy has to spend some time with your brother, otherwise, he will feel sad. But Daddy will be sitting with you, and then after some time, Mummy will come back and sit with you, okay?"

Susan said with a neutral expression on her face, "Okay."

Sirius couldn't help feeling amused. Things like this were common between siblings. All of them needed attention and tended to feel jealous on and off. Okay, maybe not jealous, not always, but sad if they didn't get attention when they wanted it.

Luckily, Susan was a sweet girl compared to Dudley who had always been mean to Harry. And Harry was a sweet boy.

Meanwhile, Harry was resting his head against the side of his seat, and Amelia was looking at him lovingly.

She cupped his face in her palms, blinked her eyes, drew her palms back, bunching her fingers up as she did so and blew him kisses, causing Harry to beam in joy.

A little while later, it was time for brunch as their flight had departed at 10:45 AM from London. Sirius and Amelia ordered something light and healthy to eat plus some juice for themselves and the kids.

Later on, after a long time, it was time to land after nearly 11 hours.

Sirius and Amelia had switched back and Sirius was now holding Harry's hand as he stared excitedly out of the window, watching as the plane ploughed through the sea of clouds.

They went underneath, and soon, Harry could see the coast of California as the plane flew along towards San Francisco International Airport.

The plane seemed to be going faster, and Harry soon saw the ground come up, so fast, speeding by.

And then they hit with a loud bump.

Sirius held Harry even as he himself stiffened nervously due to the abrupt sensation as they touched down.

Soon the plane slowed down, and a few minutes later, the plane stopped at a tarmac, away from the airport building but close enough for walking into the arrivals area.

It was almost 2 PM in San Francisco.

Only one more flight was left, from San Francisco to Hawaii.

But first, there was the matter of going through immigration.
