Harry stirred in bed and slowly opened his eyes.
He looked towards the window and could see the sun just rising.
But he couldn't go back to sleep.
He and Susan had woken some time ago and had been unable to fall back asleep.
Just then, he saw Amelia come into his and Susan's room in a black nightgown.
Amelia looked outside the window for a few seconds and turned to look at her children. Seeing Harry and Susan awake, Amelia smiled at them and whispered, "My babies."
She went up to them and hugged them before asking, "Not able to sleep?"
Susan said, "No."
Amelia sighed and said, "Jetlag, I know."
Harry patted the side of the bed, wanting his Mummy to sit with them.
Amelia kissed Harry and Susan saying, "I'm going to take a bath first, and after I come out, I'll sit with you, okay?"
Harry and Susan pouted. Amelia couldn't help feeling amused upon seeing their expressions.
A little while later, Amelia was standing in front of their bed in her black robes and her Wizengamot headdress, just for Susan's and Harry's sake.
She said, "So, it's 6:20 in the morning, and you two are just looking so cute."
Harry tilted his head towards his left, and Amelia tilted her head towards her right. He then tilted his head towards his right, and Amelia tilted her head towards her left. Then Susan smiled and giggled.
Amelia said, "I am feeling quite hungry. Breakfast won't start until 7, and you too must be feeling hungry too."
Smilingly, she climbed onto the bed and lay down in between Harry and Susan, who proceeded to bury themselves into her sides to cuddle with her.
Amelia held Harry and Susan and whispered, "Can I eat you up? Please?"
"No," Harry and Susan simultaneously replied.
"Please," Amelia whispered, "won't you let me eat you? Please?"
"No!" they cried out.
Amelia then sat up and turned around. Holding Harry's and Susan's hands, she said, "Please? Okay, I won't eat you both, just one of you. So which one of you shall I gobble up?"
Susan cried out, "No!"
Amelia turned to her and said, "I think I'll eat you. You are so cute, and so beautiful, and so sweet."
Suddenly, Harry cried out, "Mummy no! Don't eat Susie!"
Amelia turned to him and whispered, pointing her fingers towards him and glaring playfully, "I'll eat you up! Instead of Susan, I'll gobble you up."
"No!" Harry cried out.
"Then I'm going to eat your sister," Amelia said in a sing song manner even as Susan squealed.
"No! Eat me!" Harry cried out. He then closed his eyes.
Amelia turned to Harry and placing him in her lap, she whispered, "So be it."
Harry's eyelids were shut tightly as he expected to be eaten up.
And then, he felt his cheeks being 'eaten up' but that was it.
The next thing he felt, was kisses on his cheeks.
He opened his eyes and turned to look at his Mummy smiling at him.
Amelia turned to Susan and held out her arms, and Susan came and sat in Amelia's lap along with Harry.
Adjusting both of the children so that they were seated comfortable, Amelia said, "You know I eat you only because I love you. You're my little babies and I love you very much."
Susan hugged her and said, "I love you Mummy."
Amelia hugged Susan back and said, "I love you too baby."
Suddenly, Harry hugged both of them, and they hugged him back.
Just then, they saw Sirius coming out of the other bedroom, shirtless and wearing only a towel around his lower body.
Harry and Susan cried out, "Good morning Daddy."
Sirius went and hugged them saying, "Good morning my cute little pups."
Amelia said, "Good morning love. I think we should give these little ones a bath."
Sirius said, "Oh yes we should. Although, do you mind if I go first, after that night? You know what I mean."
Sometime later, Harry and Susan were dressed in blue and pink shorts, and red and yellow shirts, and were standing with their Mummy who had changed into something more suitable for the environment as their Daddy was checking a bag to make sure that all the beach supplies were there. For, Sirius and Amelia had planned to take the children to the beach after breakfast.
After having had a bath, Amelia had let the kids play with their toys for a while and had played along with them.
Now, it was 7:15.
Sirius said, "We've got everything. Sunscreen, mats, shovels, buckets, first aid kit all in."
Amelia said, "We can bring it to the beach with us after we've finished eating."
Sirius replied, "Well then, let's head down for breakfast everyone."
They headed down to the ground floor, and proceeded to a buffet without any glass doors or windows leading to the outside.
Harry and Susan beamed as they noticed a pool outside the buffet, a little distance away.
Amelia and Sirius found a table and they all sat down, with Sirius watching the table and the kids while Amelia went and got some fruits for everyone.
Harry and Susan beamed in joy as they beheld their plates laden with pineapple, orange, mango, apple, papaya and banana.
Amelia said, "That looks sweet doesn't it? Now eat your fruit salad."
Harry and Susan excitedly pounced upon their fruits and soon, they were ready for the main course.
Sirius said, "Prongslet, Susie, there's waffles, toast, chocolate chip pancakes, and cereal. So I think you two can have cereal while Mummy and I have waffles."
"Daddy," Susan cried out, "Not fair!"
Sirius couldn't help laughing at Harry's and Susan's expressions. He got up and said, "You don't worry, I'll get them for you. Want to come and see what you would like?"
Amelia said warningly, "Sirius, watch the amount of syrup you put, if there's any. Harry, Susie, remember what I told you about sugar and junk food."
Harry and Susan replied, "Okay."
Sirius took Harry and Susan to a counter where pancakes and waffles were being made. Harry and Susan both chose waffles, and Sirius and Amelia decided to get the same. They added a little strawberry syrup, making sure that it was not an unhealthy amount, and then got some grilled tomatoes with cheese, plus some milk for the kids and coffee for the parents.
A few minutes later, while Harry was munching on a bite of his waffle, he couldn't help staring curiously at Amelia's coffee cup.
Sirius noticed it and said smilingly, "Interested in Mummy's coffee?"
Amelia couldn't help smiling at Harry's curious expression.
She said, "You're too young to drink coffee, but when you're older, I'll let you, okay?"
"Okay," Harry replied, before holding out his fork with a piece of waffle towards her.
Amelia said, "What is it Harry? Want to feed me?"
She ate the piece on Harry's fork and smiled.
And then, she noticed him getting another piece ready to hold out, and upon seeing his eyes on the coffee, she realized that he was trying to dip his piece into the coffee.
She said, "You naughty little one. Alright, you can dip your waffle into my coffee, just this one time."
She took his fork, dipped the piece into her coffee and fed him the piece.
Noticing his eyes widen, she asked, "Happy now?"
Harry smiled and said, "Yes Mummy."
Susan piped up, "My turn now Mummy."
Soon, the family finished their breakfast and took a walk around the hotel during which, they all noticed that there were two pools instead of one, close to each other, separated by some grass in between plus paths, and the one farther from the dining area had a jacuzzi.
Afterwards, they all got their beach gear and headed towards the beach.
After selecting a suitable spot, Amelia and Sirius spread out the mats and sat down. Harry and Susan sat down on the sand and began to shovel sand randomly.
Sirius took one of the buckets and said, "Prongslet, do you want to come get some water to make sand castles? It'll be fun."
"Yeah," Harry replied and bounded over to Sirius.
"Sirius," Amelia said, "Be careful, don't go too far into the water. Hold him tightly. Harry, Susie, don't go into the ocean unless one of us is holding your hand, okay?"
"Okay," Harry and Susan replied.
Sirius took Harry's hand and they walked towards the ocean. When they got close enough to touch the waves, they stopped.
Harry let out a cry of excitement and jumped up and down when a wave came in and washed over him and Sirius, the water just a little above his ankles.
Sirius held Harry's hand tightly and went a little further, and the next wave came as high as Harry's knees.
When the wave receded, Harry tried to run further into the water, but Sirius wouldn't let him.
"No Harry," he said, "You're still quite small, and we're not careful, we could get carried away into the ocean and even drown."
"Drown?" Harry asked.
"If you don't know how to swim," Sirius replied, "And so far, you've only gone swimming once, and that was in the pool back home with your Mummy and sister. So do not wander off into the waves, and do not try to get into the ocean without an adult, either Mummy or me, or Uncle Remus or someone you know and trust holding you."
"Okay Daddy." Harry said.
A few minutes later, Sirius and Harry came back towards Amelia and Susan who were playing a game of tic-tac-toe in the sand, their bucket of water ready.
Amelia looked at them and said, "Harry, your shorts are quite wet. I hope you didn't try to go deep into the water."
Sirius said, "We stopped when the water was as high as his knees. He was so excited that he kept jumping up and down."
Harry and Susan with some help from Amelia got down to making a sand castle.
A few minutes later, Amelia said, "Looks like we need a little more water. Harry, Susie, let's get some water."
She took their hands and led them to the ocean where they stood in the shallow area for a while before getting water in their buckets.
A little while later, Sirius went off somewhere and returned with four coconuts in his arms each with a straw through the hole which had been made.
Amelia exclaimed, "Sirius, that's sweet of you! Can you really hold all four?"
Sirius said, "I managed to get two small ones. Hopefully, I've gotten enough. Harry, Susan, come have some coconut water."
Amelia took two small coconuts and handed them over to Harry and Susan saying, "Here you go."
Harry and Susan who were sitting down took their coconuts and started drinking.
A whole minute later, Harry and Susan were sucking on their straws without even realizing that they had finished all the water.
Amelia took their coconuts laughing and said, "You two have finished it all. You seem to have enjoyed it."
She and Sirius then had the coconuts cut and ate the tender pulp that was inside.
Later on, Amelia said, "It's 10:45 now. Does anyone fancy a swim?"
Harry and Susan cried out, "Swim!"
Soon, Harry and Susan were standing by the first pool in their swimwear, with their Mummy standing right behind them.
Amelia and Sirius set to work, adjusting their floaties before leading them into the water.
Sirius and Amelia first swam across the pool a couple of times with Harry and Susan on their backs, and then Amelia led them to the shallow side.
Sitting down, the water just above her waist, she held Harry's and Susan's hands as they looked at her with cute wide eyes.
She said, "Now, I think it's time for…"
With that, she splashed Harry and Susan, causing them to scream and declared, "Splash war!"
With that, they started a splash war, with Sirius on the side, laughing his head off while Harry and Susan splashed their Mummy.
A few minutes later, Amelia put up her hands in surrender and said, "Okay, you win. Please stop splashing me!"
Susan simply smiled and said, "Nope. Harry, come on."
Harry giggled while splashing his Mummy, even as she held up her hands to shield herself.
And then, she put her hands on her chest and pretended to fall backwards into the water. She then closed her eyes.
Harry and Susan immediately stopped and moved towards her head calling out, "Mummy, Mummy!"
Suddenly, Amelia opened her eyes and glared playfully at her children.
She sat up and let out an evil laugh saying, "Now, I am going to eat you up!"
Harry and Susan screamed even as Amelia suddenly pulled them close to her.
And then, Amelia said, "Babies, I'm not going to eat you. Not now while we're in the pool. But that doesn't mean I can't splash you."
With that, sporting a mischievous smile on her face, she splashed them, causing them to laugh.
Sirius came up and said, "Pretty impressive splashing war. I'd better not cross Mummy."
"Oh you had better not, dear husband, Daddy, Paddy," Amelia said mischievously.
Sirius then went to look at the other pool, and then came back.
He said, "Hey kiddos, you want to try the other pool? There's a small slide there."
Harry and Susan cried out, "Slide, slide."
So Sirius and Amelia took the kids to the other pool, and let them go down the small slide. Of course, there was only one, and it was just a small one, more like a small kid's slide, short and narrow, so they didn't have to go down with the adults.
On and off, Amelia held each child and made them kick their legs in the water, trying to teach them to swim so that they wouldn't have to depend on adults in the water when they grew older.
Harry giggled at one point during his turn as he kicked his legs wildly, splashing Susan.
Susan splashed him as hard as she could saying, "Bad, bad, bad! I'm going to get you."
That nearly started a splashing war but then Sirius and Amelia stopped them and Amelia said, "Harry, Susan, I'm trying to teach you how to swim. If you go on losing focus like this, you won't be able to learn. Focus, now kick your legs while we hold you."
Later on, it was lunchtime and Sirius and Amelia pulled the children out of the pool and dried them before getting them changed and bringing them to the buffet to eat.
While the children were having a nap afterwards, Amelia and Sirius sat on their bed and read to each other. When Harry and Susan woke up, they went to their parents' bedroom for cuddles and a game of scrabble.
In the evening, Amelia and Sirius took Harry and Susan for a walk on the beach once again.
As they watched the ocean, Sirius said, "You know Amy, I certainly did not expect we'd be having this kind of a peaceful honeymoon, you know, with Harry and Susan here. I mean, with the war and deaths, plus Azkaban."
Amelia said, "Well it's a honeymoon not just for us, but for our children as well. After all, seeing them happy makes us happy."
Just then, Harry said, "I love Mummy and Daddy and Susie."
Susan hugged Harry and said, "I love you brother."
Harry hugged her back saying, "I love you sissy."
Amelia knelt down to their level and hugged them saying, "Aww, I love you my babies. You're the joy of my life."
Sirius hugged them saying, "Same here. You're the joy of my life as well. And I'll always love you."
He couldn't help thinking, "I wish James were here. I'll take care of Harry James. I'll take care of Susan too, Lewis."
