I know that I picked Robbie Kay as Emrys, grandson of Merlin. But I've also been thinking that maybe Georgie Farmer would be better. So I wanted to ask what you guys think I should do, should I stay with Robbie Kay or change his face claim to Georgie Farmer?
Love on the Field
Emrys was waiting for Ben near the lockers when he finally saw him, he saw that Ben was with Audrey making Emrys frown. He wanted to talk to Ben alone without the annoying princess around. Emrys then notices Audrey looking at a group of girls admiring their new hairstyles, which Emrys suspects were done by Mal, as he doesn't believe creating new hairstyles would be Hava's style. When Emrys saw Hava with her purple-haired friend, he smiled.
Hava had been trying to avoid everyone as much as she could the past couple days, she was getting more homesick and missing her father and Creeper more than ever. And after those two days, it was the day of the big tourney game and the cookies were ready to be given to Ben. The demon princess and Mal walked to their lockers passed the table of giggling girls as the two followed Ben and Audrey.
The table full of babbling girls all called out, "Hey look, it's Mal!" "Hi Mal!" "Love my hair, Mal!" Mal gave a 'I-hate-you-all-but-I'll-pretend-to-be-nice' kind of wave before scowling as she opened her locker.
Jay leaned on the locker wall next to Mal and asked the two girls, "Are you guys feeling kinda weird about this," He gave a slight smile, "I mean, it's not so bad here, you know?" The girls noted that he was staring directly at the pretty girls that swooned at him constantly.
"What?" Hava frowns deeply, "No, I'm doing this, so I can return to my father."
"Are you insane?" Mal asked. "Long live evil. You're mean, you're awful and you're bad news. Snap out of it." Mal snapped her fingers and Hava does the same.
Hava nods, "Please do."
"Thanks guys, I needed that," Jay looked back to his old self, so much so that he decided to go flirt with the giggling girls, "Well, hello. The name's Jay. You're all going to the tourney game tonight?"
"Yeah." The girls chimed as Jay held one of the girl's hands.
"Keep a look out for number eight, all right?" Jay said flirtatiously, "Scoring the winning goal."
"Do think they actually paid for those?" Audrey asks Ben.
Emrys shrugs, "Possibly."
"She did it to Jane's hair too and Fairy Godmother's not happy about it," Audrey complains.
"So what?" Emrys asks annoyed with this spoiled Auradon princess.
"What's the harm?" Ben asks.
"It's gateway magic!" Audrey exclaimed. Emrys knew Mal and Hava were most likely listening to this entire conversation, which made Emrys grew more annoyed, not with Hava and Mal, but with Annoying Prissy Princess. "First it starts with the hair. Next thing you know, it's the lips, the legs, and the clothes and then everybody looks good and then...where will I be?"
Emrys rolls his eyes and snapped with irritation, "Of course, that's all you care about!"
"What?" Audrey asked turning to Emrys. Ben looked at Emrys in surprise.
"I am so bloody sick and tired of you complaining and whining about the new kids. I'm not sure if it's more of not looking better than others or just finding an excuse to complain about the kids from the Isle," Emrys snapped. Audrey had been complaining almost nonstop since the Villain kids had gotten here and Emrys was glad that he didn't have to listen to it as much as Ben does but it was getting on his nerves.
"I am not! These kids are evil. Can't you see what they are doing? All this hair changing is a ruse they are trying to mess with us. Even Fairy Godmother is unhappy," Audrey said her brown eyes narrowing in on Emrys.
"Oh no, the fairy who willingly stopped using magic on her own isn't happy that new students are using magic," Emrys pouts, and says in irritation, "In case if it slipped your mind Audrey some of us do need to use magic." Audrey huffed.
Ben sighed for a moment then turned to his girlfriend probably trying to get her to calm down. "Listen Audrey," Ben started.
Audrey composed herself then cut him off, "I will see you at the game after my dress-fitting for the coronation, okay?"
Emrys glares at her and Ben just slightly smiled.
"Okay," he said
"Bye Benny boo," she said pretending to kiss his cheek and then she struts off.
"Bye..." Ben said unhappily.
Emrys then put a hand on Ben's shoulder, "Do yourself a favor my friend and break up with her!"
"And how do you suppose I tell her?" Ben asks.
"It's simple just walk up to her and say it," Emrys tells him.
"Emrys I can't just break up with her out of the blue," Ben said.
"Why not?" Emrys asks.
"I'm supposed to go to the coronation with her," Ben answers, "And besides it would break her heart."
Emrys shrugs, "So? She'll get over it and with her attitude it would be her own fault. You can always ask Mal to be your date, considering that you are smitten with her."
"I don't know what you're talking about," Ben replies.
Emrys smiles a little and said, "Ben you're a good person, but you're also a prat, and a royal one."
Ben was about to respond, but then Mal turns to him and gave Ben a smile. "Hey, Bennyboo."
Hava covered her mouth gagging. "In case if you've forgotten my vomit color is black, so please don't make me do that."
"Hey Mal, hey Hava," Ben greeted with a smile.
"Hava and I just baked a batch of cookies, double chocolate chip. Do you want one?" Mal asked.
"I got a big game, I don't eat before a big game, but thank you so so much, next time yeah next time." Ben started walking away.
"Oh come on, Ben," Emrys frowns, "It's just one cookie, and besides you're going to need to be in shape for the game and a little energy would be good for you."
"No, it's okay Emrys. I completely understand, be careful of treats offered by villains." Mal faked sadness.
"No, no, no." Ben assured. "I really do have a big game."
Hava then got an idea and walked away with her head down looking like she was sad. "No, no Hava wait." Ben quickly grabbed a cookie and took a bite. "See that? Totally trust you."
Hava stopped walking and looked up waiting for Ben to fall in love.
"How are they?" Mal asked.
"They're good, they're great, they're amazing. They're chewy... and you know... there walnuts? I love walnuts, and the chocolate chips... the chocolate chips... I'm sorry, they're warm, soft, they're sweet... Mal have you always had those golden flecks in your eyes?"
Jay came up and put his hands on Ben's shoulders and asked softly. "How you feeling? Bro."
"I feel like... I feel like... I feel like singing your name." Ben took a deep breath and sang loudly. "MMMMMAAAAAALLLLLLL!"
Emrys frowned in confusion. Was Ben okay? Hava appeared in front of him and covered Ben's mouth. "Don't you boys have a big game to win?"
Ben, Jay and Carlos left making Hava look at Mal and clap a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Well... congratulations Mal, you now have a boyfriend."
Mal sarcastically laughed before they walked away to the bleachers with Evie and Emrys. When Evie saw Lonnie, the four of them stood by her to watch the game. Hava looked over at the cheerleaders and saw Audrey and Talia was in the front making her roll her eyes. "Of course."
"Hava, they're about to start," Evie said making her friend look back
Hava smirked and began shooting red smoke out from her hands and into the sky. "LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!"
Emrys, along with everyone in the bleachers, cheers at that making Audrey look over with jealousy and Talia was glaring at Hava.
After a while the game was so close, at the moment it was a tie.
"We've got 47 seconds on the clock we're all tied up," the announcer said, "the Sherwood Falcons two, the fighting Knights two, what a game between Auradon schools."
Hava looked over to the coach and notices him putting Jay and Carlos on the Field and Hava cheered jumping out of her seat.
"Go Jay! Go Carlos!" Hava cheers.
"He's bringing the hothead Jay, from isle of the lost and that little guy, Carlos, who can barely hold his shield," the announcer said, "When they break their handles, this is going to be a big moment here."
Hava, Emrys, Mal and Evie cheer for Jay and Carlos as the boys spilt and started playing.
"And the tipoff is ready...here we go! Long pas goes to Jay!" The announcer yelled, "Jay dishes it off to Prince Ben. Nice little block form Carlos! He does a little dance in his opponents face!"
"Way to go Carlos!" Hava cheers.
"And now Jay gets the ball back! Here comes Jay! Jay hurdling maneuver at mid-field Jay makes a nice pass to Ben through the kill zone. Big block by Chad! Prince Ben moves over wide, gives it back to Jay! He's in the clear! Shot! Oh! What a save from Phillip, the Falcon's goalkeeper."
The crowed awed and sat back down.
"Come on guys you can do it!" Hava yells, "Show these idiots what you're made of."
"23 seconds left! You could cut the tension with a sword. The long ball is played into Jay. Jay, great jump! Great leap. And a great move from Jay! Big block from Chad! Jay dishes off to Prince Ben, and then Carlos, with a big block, goes down, Jay thorough the kill zone, picks up Carlos. Oh he's hammered by dragon fire, still going down! Jay, hurdling maneuver at mid-felid, he's in the clear! The ball goes ball to Jay...he passes to Prince Ben and he scores!"
The crowed went crazy as they were clapping and cheering.
"They did it!" Hava cried out, "YES! THOSE ARE MY BOYS!"
"I can't believe it!" Lonnie yelled "We won!"
"Prince Ben has won it! What an unselfish play by Jay! Incredible team! And it's the new guys, Jay and Carlos, who set up the prince for the win, here they come!" the announcer declared, "The winners of the first..." he was cut off by Ben grabbing the microphone.
Hava then frowned when Ben went to the announcer's mike. "That's it, I'm out of here."
"Why? What's wrong?" Emrys asked.
"Something tells me that things are about to get extremely over the top," Hava answers.
Mal grabs Hava's arm. "Oh no, you don't. If I have to suffer through this so do you."
"Excuse me, excuse me," Ben said, "Can I have your attention please? There's something I like to say," Ben said. The crowd quieted confused and interested. Jay, Carlos and the rest of the team surrounded the platform.
"Give me an M," Ben said.
"M!" the crowd yelled out. The cheerleaders performed the letter as well.
"Give me an A," Ben called out.
"A!" the crowd called out again.
"Give me an L," Ben added.
"L!" the crowd yelled again.
"What does that spell?" Ben asked.
"Mal!" the crowd yelled. Mal was absolutely flabbergasted. When she gave him the love cookie she didn't think this was going to happen. Was he really going to do whatever this was?
"I love you Mal! Did I mention that?" Ben asked. Audrey looked mortified and ran away with Talia following her. Emrys stared at Ben completely stunned. He then could sense that there was magic involved, but it wasn't his or any magic he was familiar with.
"Give me a beat," he directed Doug.
"Uno, Dos, tres, quarto!" Doug yelled to start the band.

The song ended with Ben up in the bleachers next to Mal. He tried to kiss her but she blocked the kiss with his Tourney jersey that he had thrown up during his song. Ben settled for a hug instead.
The entire time Hava just stood there with a blank face and her eyes widen and then she took off her sunglasses and rubbed her temples. "That's it, I'm out of here!" Hava replies.
"Right behind you love," Emrys said, having heard enough too.
"That's the last time I'm baking cookies," Hava says quietly to herself.
Hava then teleports to her room in a cloud of red smoke and Emrys simply teleported to the library.
In the next chapter, I will be revealing some things about Hava's mother.
