"If you truly wish to leave the RUINS… I will not stop you. However, when you leave… Please do not come back." Toriel's voice breaks when she says those last few words. It's even enough to send a pang of guilt. I feel like I am leaving Freddy all over again.
"I hope you understand." Toriel then leans down and she hugs both of us. I am shocked by this, I can hardly ever remember the last time somebody hugged me. Knowing that I am going to be leaving this, leaves me feeling hurt.
"Goodbye, my children." Toriel starts walking away as me and Frisk start to step towards the RUINS door. Frisk is just about to open it, when I turn around and rush after Toriel.
"Hey wait!" Toriel turns around quickly, surprised that I stopped to talk to her even though the exit is a few feet away.
"My child, you can go now. I will be alright."
"No, you have to listen, this is important! There is someone down here after me!" Toriel's eyes go wide the second I say this. Frisk looks just as surprised as Toriel. Toriel kneels down to my level and holds my hand.
"Who is after you Greogry. Maybe I can talk to them." Toriel's voice is full of concern and protectiveness. I have to tell her about Vanessa. She'll kill Toriel if she sees her.
"Her name is Vanessa, but she goes by Vanny. She fell down with me, she's completely crazy! If she catches me she'll kill me!" Toriel looks even more worried. Frisk walks over to me and puts there hand on my shoulder.
"Could you describe what she looks like, Gregory."
"She is wearing a rabbit custom. It has a wide creepy smile that can give anyone nightmares!" Toriel's creeped out by Vanessa, while Frisk just seems to just be curious about appearance.
"Do not worry Gregory, I will make sure that she will not pass through here." I feel fear rise through me at Toriel's words. I know what Vannys is capable of! Toriel won't stand a chance against her!
"Are you crazy! She's a psychopath!" Toriel smiles and nods her head.
"Do not worry about me children. Now stay safe out there." Toriel walks back down the hall, her footsteps grow quieter as she leaves. I turn to Frisk who smiles at me.
"Don't worry Gregory, I'll make sure nothing happens to us. Well be safe. Now let's exit the RUINS." With that Frisk turns towards the door and opens it. We are greeted by the same purple colored floor and walls as we walk forward. The hallway leads on until we reach a very dark room. My eyes widen when I notice that in the center of the room is that same weird talking Flower!
"Clever. Verrrryyy clever. You think you're really smart, don't you?" He is smiling snarkily, as he says this mockingly. I can feel my anger rising at his words. We are seriously being mocked by a talking flower!
"Seriously you're the one to talk! You're just a flower with a crappy attitude!" Flowey's expression shifts from mocking to anger, as he glares daggers at me.
"YOU THINK YOU CAN INSULT ME? WELL SEE. IN THIS WORLD IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED. THE TWO OF YOU SPARED THE LIFE OF A SINGLE PERSON." Flowey's words are cold and chilling. How can a stupid flower be so intimidating?!
"Asri- Flowey, please it doesn't have to be this way. Why don't you join us, I'm sure we can have a fun time exploring the Underground with the three of us." Frisk says will walking towards Flowey. Is Frisk crazy, why would they want an insane Flower to follow us around! And why the hell did it sound like Frisk was about to say something else before saying Flowey!
"No can do Frisk that would spoil the fun of watching all your friends get whipped out, once Gregory's 'friend' gets here"
"That won't happen, maybe I can talk to her and get her to be our friend." Right now I am feeling dumbfounded at how naive that sounds. Do they seriously think you can make friends with a psychopath?! Vanny chased me around an entire night, and then she tried to chase me down once I escaped! She wears a rabbit custom all the time to MURDER people!
"You never change, do you Frisk. Remember what I told you, if you ever meet a relentless killer. HA HA! It will be fun watching you die over and over again!" What does that stupid Flower even mean by that?!
"You think you can change people Frisk? You think you know them? You don't know that Gregory here has a LV of 2." Frisk turns and looks at me with confusion and concern. What the hell is LV? Flowey mentioned it earlier, he said it stands for LOVE. What could love possibly have anything to do with this?! And why does everyone keep emphasizing it? But still even without knowing what it means, the look Frisk is giving me still makes me feel nervous.
"I would love to see you two talk this out, but I have to leave now." Suddenly Floweys face transforms into a more sinister look as he starts laughing, a spine chilling laugh, as he disappears into the ground.
When I finally stopped crying, I thought that perhaps reading 72 uses for snails would cheer me up. But it is not working, so I walk back to my bookshelf placing the book in its proper place. It will take some time for me to feel better, but even when that does happen I will only just be pretending. I haven't been truly happy since Ari-
No, don't think about them. Maybe if I just go back to the fridge and maybe bake a pie, that would be splendid. I went into the kitchen and opened the fridge. Now let's see where did I put the- . It's that chocolate bar, Chara's favorite. Chara.
"My child, if you wouldn't mind, may I ask how you feel down here?" Their expression stiffened and their eyes went cold.
Where am I?! It takes me a moment to register that I am still standing in my kitchen. I put the bar of chocolate down as I sigh. As I close my fridge I hear a knock at the door. I walked over to the door and was about to open it when I suddenly remembered Gregorys words.
"Come on! Open the door!" Whoever's here sounds irritated, they knock harder.
"Hello, may I ask who's there before I let you in."
"My name is Vanessa; I came here looking for a kid."
