Vanny's POV:
The skeleton stood right in front of me. He gives off a laid-back type of vibe, which is reinforced by the jokes he made when he came up to me. But right now, deep within him I could see that he is treating this situation very seriously. But he looks weak, I should have no problem taking him!
Don't underestimate him, there is something I don't like about this. He is hiding something.
Ok if you think he is stronger than he appears I will be more cautious.
"I am just passing through, now please you're ruining my fun!" I can tell he is dissecting my every word. His pupils completely disappear, and he stiffens up.
He knows something is off about you.
"so that's why you have the knife. so I guess we are not going to CUT it as pals after all." Before I can even realize what is happening, we enter a battle and I see my soul get slammed down as an array of bones charge up from the ground. I receive a ton of damage as I move frantically to dodge them. But that isn't even the end of it as he summons many skeletal faced blasters! By the end of it I am left with only one HP!
I KNEW IT! DON'T LET HIM TAKE YOU OUT! WITHOUT YOU THERE WILL BE NO ONE TO COMPLETE MY RESURRECTION!
I take a deep breath and I try to swing my knife down at him. The whole time I am doing this my bones ache from the attack I have just reserved. Even with how strong he is he should go down in one hit like the others. But to my horror he dodges out of the way in time.
YOU FAILED!
Sans POV:
I checked her stats the moment I went up to her, and I saw that her name is Vanny. I then checked her LV and was horrified to see that it is at 19. I knew immediately what I had to do. She was surprised by my attacks, right now she is looking at me in pain and with anger on her face. It doesn't look like she is used to someone outmatching her in a fight. She swipes at me with her knife, but I dodge out of the way with ease. I summon my Gaster blasters around her as she eyes them all with a slight hint of fear. I can stop this, she shouldn't be able to reset after death, since Frisk is the only one with the determination right now. I will not let her get to my friends.
"SANS! I JUST MEET THE HUMANS BACK THERE. THEY TOLD ME YOU NEEDED HELP, SO DON'T FEAR BROTHER I SHALL HANDLE YOUR PROBLEM! OHH I SEE YOU MADE A NEW FRIEND!" No not know, I look over my shoulder to see Papyrus standing a few feet away from us. He looks overjoyed probably from meeting Frisk and Gregory.
"Ya bro, you know me. always ready to HOP at the opportunity to meet someone new."
"LET ME SAVE YOU FROM HORRID JOKES OF MY BROTHER. I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS! I NEVER SEEN YOU AROUND SNOWDIN ARE YOU RELATED TO THE INNKEEPER?" Even though I can't see her face I can tell she is dumbfounded by the sudden pause of our fight.
"REGARDLESS IT IS A PLEASURE TO MEET YOU! I BET IT BRINGS YOU EXCITEMENT TO BE IN THE PRESENCE OF A FUTURE MEMBER OF THE ROYAL GUARD!" The rabbit lady who I know is named Vanny, just looks at me as if wanting answers.
"bro despite what it looks like she is human." Papyrus jumps back in surprise. I can already tell that the sight of three humans has gone way beyond making his day.
"OHH MY GOD SANS! THREE HUMANS?!"
"Ya, she really has gotten the JUMP on us."
"HUMAN YOU SHALL NOT PASS THIS AREA! I WILL CAPTURE YOU AND- OHH MY GOSH ARE YOU INJURED?!" Papyrus looks at her with concern. Please, not know, I have to protect him. She is not a good person!
"HUMAN I THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL PLAY FAIR AND HELP HEAL YOU! THEN YOU SHALL GO THROUGH MY PUZZLES WHEN YOU ARE AT YOUR BEST!" Papyrus walks over to her and hands her the spare bandages I keep behind my sentry station.
"THERE WE GO HUMAN! THAT WILL HELP YOU FEEL BETTER!" She takes the bandages and uses them to gain back some of her HP.
"SANS WE NEED TO PREPARE OUR PUZZLES. THE HUMANS SHALL NOT KNOW WHAT HIT THEM!" I look nervously at Vanny, I can't kill her in front of Papyrus. It would traumatize him. I'll have to get her later, no matter what she will not hurt my brother.
"right Paps, let's JUMP on ahead."
"YES LETS! WE SHALL HOP ON! WE SHALL BE SEEING YOU HUMAN!"
"Yes, yes you will." Papyrus takes this as a friendly comment, but I can hear the threatening message conveyed in her voice.
Vanny's POV:
The skeletons walked away. The one who attacked me Sans I think, if that textbox is accurate, looks back at me before leaving. I know what that look he is giving me means, I have given that look to Gregory back at the Pizzaplex. I know that this isn't going to be our last encounter with him.
He caught you off guard. I expected better of you. We are too deep in our plan to be stopped now.
Yes master! I promise I will not let it happen again.
