Gregory's POV:
Papyrus has been gone for a few minutes now. When I first saw him walking over to us, I instinctively hid behind the guard station. But to my surprise Frisk just stood there with a huge smile on their face! They waved at him, which caused the skeleton to gasp, and to my surprise he waved back! He rushed over to Frisk and introduced himself as Papyrus, saying that he was on patrol for humans and that he would capture Frisk! Papyrus talks extremely loudly, seriously who talks like that normally!
I saw Frisk glancing at the guard station a few times, I knew that they wanted me to reveal myself to Papyrus. He just announced that he would capture any human and Frisk seriously wants me to come out! I don't get them, but they're pretty cool, they are the closest thing I have had to a friend since Freddy! I wonder whether I should really trust their judgment with Papyrus. For all we know Sans could have been lying!
I didn't have to decide though because as I tried to adjust my position, I accidentally knocked over the condiments that were for some reason sitting on the shelf! Why does a guard station even need condiments! When that happened Papyrus thought that I was Sans, knowing that he would check behind the station anyway I decided to trust Frisk, against my survival instincts. When Papyrus saw me, he was at a loss for words for a minute. Then he sprang to life and was twice as energetic as before. Announcing that he will capture the two of us.
The whole time Frisk was smiling at us, I could tell they were happy with me meeting Papyrus. I knew I had to warn Papyrus about Vanessa, so I tried to tell him that his brother was in danger and that he needed help. Papyrus didn't seem to understand the severity of the situation, but he seemed like he genuinely wanted to help regardless.
Currently Papyrus has been gone for about a minute, she killed them didn't she. I didn't know them that well, but Sans and Papyrus have so far been the most trustworthy monsters we have met besides Toriel. Frisk looks a little worried, but they still seem determined that everything is alright. But I know that everything is not alright, just like in the Pizzaplex-
"HUMANS WE HAVE RETURNED! AND WE HAVE MEET ANOTHER HUMAN, DO YOU THREE KNOW EACH OTHER?!" my eyes widen as Sans and Papyrus walk back to us unscathed! But how?! Vanny is a psychopath, who has already murdered 9 kids!
"heya kids, how are the two of you back here?" he still sounds like he is in his carefree upbeat mood! Did Vanessa trick him or something! She could have just switched back to being like her seemingly sane self in order to fool them. But that still doesn't explain why she didn't come back with them.
"Hi Sans, we were just waiting for you here. We are excited to go through Papyrus puzzles whenever you're ready!" I can hardly believe my ears! Frisk wants us to go into possibly dangerous puzzles?! Are they insane, but if we have to, I guess it would be better just to get it over with.
"YOU ARE SPLENDID! WHEREVER YOU INEVITABLY FAIL MY PUZZLES, I THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL BE THERE FOR MORAL SUPPORT! COME SANS WE NEED TO PREPARE!" Papyrus rushes off as Sans follows slowly behind him. But before he leaves Sans turns around.
"i'll be seeing two later. by the way Greg, I can tell what you did." Sans eyes go completely dark as he says this, sending a chill down my spine.
"Sans Gregory isn't like that. He told me he only did it in self-defense." Frisk says while taking a step forward. But this doesn't change Sans' expression.
"all I know is that his LOVE is at 2. That is all I need to know. your hands are not exactly clean either kiddo, you just never want this to end, do you?" Frisk smile drops and is replaced by a hurt look, they look like they are close to crying. Sans expression softens, as he looks a tiny bit guilt ridden.
"heye look, Frisk, I'm sorry. but I still will be keeping an eye on good old Greg here. see ya!" Sans says as he walks down the path, disappearing from sight. Frisk sighs, and frowns. And gestures for us to keep moving. Ahead of there is a box with a sign next to it. There are also two different ways in the path we can go.
"Frisk, thank you for having my back with Sans." Frisk looks at me and smiles.
"No problem, Gregory, you're my friend and I will always have your back."
When we are done talking, I am about to continue down the path when I notice Frisk just standing on the trail. They are just looking at the ground, as if they are focusing on something but there is nothing there!
Frisk's POV:
I look at the save point in front of me. Like always I touch it and save, just in case something bad happens to either me or Gregory. My body still feels broken after hearing what Sans said back there, but he has been through so much. I understand his doubts and why the resets are getting to him. I just need to be patient. After the save is complete, I turn back to Gregory who is looking at me confused.
"Frisk? Are you ready?"
"Yes, sorry Gregory. Let's continue."

Frisk and Gregory have met Sans and Papyrus, and they are ready to move on ahead. But what troubles will Vanny bring now that she has caught up to them?
