Chapter 4: Fights and Shego goes

^4 years later^

Goldie was now 19 years old and had gotten into Go City's finest university for mechanics. Upperton and Middleton tried their hardest to recruit her after her first year at her new high school, but she declined to stay with her family. Shego made a small comment about how she should've gone, which confused Goldie but shrugged and explained she wanted to stay close to her family. At this point, Goldie's hair used to fall to her mid back, but now it was as long as Shego's and even more wild looking than before, as well as now never needing crummy concealer since her face fully cleared up of acne, so now she didn't look cute or ok like when she was younger, but now look gorgeous.

Unfortunately, due to lack in social skills, she never really understood flirting unless it was blunt or close to it, so being called beautiful or lovely was what she thought was normal since she was older like her sister. Now, Goldie had gotten smarter, learning more sneak attacks and making advanced weapons, but Hego went back to his old ways after Aviarius had escaped jail once to before to attack Go Tower directly. After Goldie got hurt blocking an attack to the Wegos, Hego went back to his old overbearing self. Well, at least it lasted 2.5 years before going backwards again.

Now, the Mathter was on the loose, wreaking havoc with his mathematical problems.

"How about I subtract from this equation!" The Mathter cackled as he threw a minus sign their way. Shego without a mask on, Hego and Mego dodged, but the Minus sign opened into a net and captured the Wegos, who were now stuck since the ends lodged themselves into the ground.

"Now to multiply my chances!" He added as he tossed an X, which connected with Mego and had him stuck on a wall. Mego shrunk, but the X tightened and kept him there.

"Ah great, now I'm small and stuck!" Mego said in a tiny voice as he pouted. Goldie was on top of a building, aiming an arrow with a round foam end right at the Mathter and his 2 henchmen. She drew the bow back more, ready to go.

"Now, let's divide!" Mather said as he threw the division sign, causing Hego and Shego to split up, only for Hego to get caught.

"Now for the remainder of one." Mather said as he chuckled while pulling out the number one. Goldie released the arrow, causing the Mathter to be hit with in and caught in a net.

"Make that a remainder of two!" Goldie yelled as she flipped off the roof, landing in front of him, arrow ready, aimed and then released on the two henchmen.

"Well done, Igo. Knew you had it in ya." Shego congratulated, resting a hand on her hip.

"I'll go free the guys." Igo said as she walked away.

The Mathter used the one to cut the net, but Shego hit him hard enough to yelp in pain before being knocked out, then doing the same to the henchmen. Igo had released Hego, who glared at her, before going to Shego and scolding her for the unnecessary force used. As the two argued, Igo released her brothers with ease.

"You know Hego's gonna scold you again." Mego told Igo.

"So what? Without me, The Mathter might've won. Why can't he just accept I'm as good of a hero as all of you?" She said in a matter-of-fact tone.

She had outgrown the pouting, whining and such, but not the mild temper she had. It actually surprised everyone that Goldie hadn't yet lost her temper 100% on any of them. As Hego and Shego argued, Goldie sighed before going up to them.

"Hey, stop arguing for 5 minutes and get ready to smile for the reporters." Igo hissed at them quietly just as the news vans pulled up. After an hour back at Go Tower, where Goldie yanked off her mask.

"Couldn't admit to the media I saved your butts, could ya Hego? You had to take the glory and fame again? And not from just me, but from them, too?!" Goldie scolded her eldest brother.

"I'm the leader, I told it as I saw fit." Hego said blatantly.

"Oh, yeah, sure ya did. Why not admit the truth or at least admit when you're wrong." Shego said in an annoyed tone.

"Hey, watch it. You don't get to talk after what you did." Hego scolded Shego.

"They were going to get out! I stopped them!" Shego raised her voice.

"Hey, my net would've shocked him if he got out." Goldie scolded, learning from past mistakes and making 2 back up traps with her traps.

"Sure, yet you couldn't make anything to save Mego and the Wegos sooner?" Hego scolded me.

"Hey, at least I wasn't caught first!" Mego bragged.

"Hey!" The Wegos said in unison.

"If Nogo had used her trap sooner!" Wego one said first.

"Then we wouldn't have been caught at all!" Wego two added.

"Hey, you were all in the way and I chose to wait to not hurt any of you, but you're blaming me!" Goldie shouted.

"Who else is to blame, miss 'No Power Go'?" Mego commented. "

Why not Hego for the crappy plan?!" Goldie shouted.

"Then Shego should've came up with a better one!" The Wegos said in unison.

"That's ridiculous! My plans are full proof!" Hego bragged.

"Pfft, yeah. Just like this one." Shego said sarcastically.

"Exactly, but Nogo got in the way." Hego said, not understanding the sarcasm.

"I was being sarcastic, you idiot!" Shego scolded.

"And stop with calling me Nogo and all those mean names! My name is Igo! Get it right already!" Goldie shouted in anger.

"You're not meant to be fighting with us!" Hego scolded her.

"I made the costumes! I made the jet and decorated it! You painted over my gold and ripped the seat out to try and keep me here! I made the table and chairs, but you ripped out my gold one because you don't think I belong there! Newsflash: I'm a hero just like you! I'm actually better than you, than any of you, for the sheer fact I can take these villains down without superpowers!" Goldie scolded harshly.

"Whoa there, little girl. Remember who you're talking to." Shego scolded.

"Oh get over it, miss child psychology major!" Goldie scolded.

"Me, me, me. I, I, I." Wego one said with an eye roll.

"You sound as bad as Mego." Wego two added towards Goldie.

Whelp, this started a huge argument between all of them until they all huffed and split up. This, dear viewers/readers, was the beginning of the end to Team Go. This has happened the past few months, minor villains here and there to fight, Team Go arguing more and more, all that jazz.

6 months before Shego left, Aviarius had broken out of jail once more, but he left Team Go alone for the moment, only thing they saw he had left Go City to go to California, Arizona, Utah and Mexico, but that was it, so they let him be, though Goldie was keeping a close eye on him after he vowed to seek revenge. Something she never told them was, after their last fight, Aviarius had stolen the staff used to trap him the first time Goldie sent him to jail, so she wanted to keep an eye open just in case he tries that plan again.

^The Day Shego Left^

They had argued after stopping a ring of robberies around the city. Goldie was now 20 years old at this point, summer had just started, and Goldie had finished another year of college, then started fixing all the super suits. As she was doing this, she heard a knock on her door.

"Enter." She said, not caring who it was anymore. The door opened as Shego came in.

"Hey, have you seen my clothes?" Shego asked her.

"I'm fixing your suits and altering your clothes since you've lost weight." Goldie replied without even looking up.

"Really? Even though we're fighting?" Shego asked in a genuine sister tone.

"Yeah, I told you I would after you got me that nice lotion I love." Goldie replied as she finished sewing another suit, folded it neatly, then began altering an outfit.

"Wow, um, thanks." Shego said in a slightly awkward tone.

"Of course, you're my sister. I know it's hard to get the newest fashions, which is why I'm trying to spruce up the old clothes to look better." Goldie explained as she folded the now finished outfit before starting a new one.

"If this is your way to have me say-" Shego started, but Goldie interrupted her.

"I stopped caring if anyone apologizes or not, though I am sorrier you have to try and stop the arguments all the time, so that's not why I'm doing this. I'm doing this because it's not only my responsibility, but because you're my sister, my only sister and I love you." Goldie told her as she finished another one, folded it then started a new one. Shego only blinked, unsure how to react.

"By the way, I heard you got your degree a year early, congrats. The bag on the bed is a graduation gift for you." She told Shego as she kept working, not once looking up from her work. Shego raised her eyebrow curiously as she saw the bag. She went over and opened it with a small gasp.

Inside was a pillow that looked like a dollar bill, except it said $1,000,000 and it had an embroidered picture of Shego on it, even having her name on it, the back had a small embroidery saying 'Best Big Sister' on it. Second was a small box, when Shego opened it she gasped. Inside, on a silver chain, was a small simple Emerald, Shego's birthstone, with mini (0.05 ct) diamonds surrounding it in a square princess cut, 7 ct size gem by the way, so not small. In it were a matching set of earrings that were 2 ct each.

"Where, but, how?" Shego asked in shock.

"You know those after school events I won prizes for in high school as well as a few robot-competitions here and there? Yeah,~ I used some of my winnings to get that made for you." Goldie says, mindlessly continuing her work.

"But, but this must've cost-" Shego started, but Goldie cut her off.

"Exactly $9,421.73 in total with tax, hence why I saved for a while and only took out portions from each win to do this. I talked to Garret at the main jewelry in town, the place you often ogle at from time to time admiring the diamonds and emeralds. I hope you're ok with the size." Goldie said as she finished the last of Shego's clothes.

As soon as she put the last one on the pile, she made an odd sound, a 'Gak' if you will, since Shego couldn't contain herself and put her sister in a head lock type hug from behind, as well as leaning over the chair, to embrace Goldie with love.

"Oh, my, gosh. Thank you so~ much! I love them!" Shego exclaimed in joy, happier than she had been in a while. Goldie was struggling to break free from her sister, due to not being able to breath.

"Sis… Can't… Breathe..." She choked out as she was turning red. Shego immediately let go, allowing Goldie to in-hail the air she desperately needed.

"Sorry, but you didn't have to go that far for me." Shego said as she looked back down at the jewelry.

"You've done a lot for me. You got a part time job for me to have a dress for my sophomore dance, you took me on spa trips twice a year, you always had my back. This is the very least I could do for you." Goldie said, chair turned fully around to look at Shego, a small smile on her face.

"We might be fighting right now, but you're my sister, my only sister, I'll always love you and look up to you." Goldie added.

Shego felt a pain in her heart, a pain she didn't plan on feeling. She was going to become a villain, she was even hired by a guy named Dr. Drakken to do a few errands for him, she hated being a hero and despised her brother Hego the most, tired of playing mommy. Now she felt bad because she was, essentially, abandoning the only sibling she could relate with.

Maybe she could take Goldie with her? Shego pushed that idea out immediately, she didn't want to force her baby sister into a life of crime nor into any unnecessary danger. No, Shego was going to leave. Alone.

"Would you still feel that way if I left?" Shego asked her suddenly. Goldie eyed her sister, unsure of what she meant.

"Well, I wouldn't blame you, but what do you mean leave? Like, get an apartment for yourself?" She asked Shego both suspiciously and innocently.

"Yeah, something like that." Shego told her, since it wasn't really a lie.

"Well, can I still see you?" Goldie asked her. Shego didn't have the heart to tell her most likely not, so she gave Goldie her warmest smile. "Aw,~ of course you can Goldilocks." Shego lied with a smile, though she felt pain on the inside for lying. Goldie accepted this and hugged her sister.

"I'm sorry we keep fighting. I'm just stressed from school and Hego, I still love you." Goldie told her, meaning every word. Shego sadly held Goldie in a hug.

"I love you too, Goldilocks." Shego replied to her. Goldie then let go of her.

"I'd ask to spend time with you, but I have to get these done so Hego doesn't blow up on me again." Goldie explained with a sad smile.

"It's fine, I'm a little bit tired after today." Shego lied as she moved a strand of Goldie's hair to the side. Shego said goodnight, took all her stuff and went to her room.

As Goldie continued through the night, Hego watching TV in his room, Mego trying out new poses and the Wegos playing video games, Shego packed up all her belongings and left in the dead of night to where Dr. Drakken would pick her up. It wasn't until the morning when Goldie first noticed Shego was missing, she then went to her room, but saw it was packed up with a note saying goodbye, then she looked back in the cameras to see Shego had left in the middle of the night.

Mego pouted, the Wegos felt upset, Hego was a mix of both, but Goldie was the saddest of them all. Her sister left her, now she had to deal with her brothers alone, deal with the backlash, but she didn't blame Shego. Goldie didn't approve of Shego going evil, but she didn't blame her for leaving.

She understood why Shego tried to tell her to go to college in another area, to get away from them. She also understood why Shego didn't take her with her, because Goldie wouldn't approve of any of it, so why bring her to slow down Shego's crime rate?

Now, Goldie could only hope to withstand her brothers and get through one more year of school at the very least as well as be a hero.
