Hey, so before reading, I will try to work on this, but I need at least 2 weeks off. I got let go from a crappy 5-year job and just need time to find another and such. Good point? This Wednesday, Sept 14th, is my birthday. I should be happy, which I am a little, but I feel like I won't be doing anything this time. My mom won't even get me a cake, which is fine. I will buy a mini cupcake with my last paycheck.
Anyways, enjoy this chapter my lovelies😘💕. This will be the both the end and new beginning for Goldie Gomelt.
Chapter 5: Go Team Go!
Goldie's POV
Time had passed since Shego left, so much has changed, she really was the glue that held us together. I'm 20 years old, now. I'm trying to finish up at least a 2nd year of college, I keep inventing with a little bit of sewing and I keep entering minor robotics competitions.
What's the difference?
Well, I've been doing online schooling, I mostly live in my room at Go Tower and have been seen as a hero less and less. I'll use traps to catch them, but my brothers get all the glory, so I only stop certain villains with the traps and have them delivered to the police. Even then, my brothers still get the credit, even though the police know it's my hero ego!
'Sigh' Oh well, I'm used to it by now. Though, lately, I've been feeling dull inside. I don't really have a drive, I don't feel much motivation, I just feel…
Bored.
Mego rarely comes by the tower, having his own place, while the Wegos stay with Mego once a week, then there's Hego. He got promoted and now works as a manager, so he's rarely home. Team Go has split up, we do our own hero work when we want, mostly Hego, so we're never really around. Well, Hego hated me staying home all the time, so he managed to get me to build the whole conveyor belt and computer ordering system for his new Bueno Nacho store.
Yes, a couple had opened up closer to the city, but this was the first Mucho Grande Bueno Nacho.
The plus side?
I got paid double the amount to do the work in half the time.
The bad news? I had to meet up with him for the grand opening…
Fun.~ Note my sarcasm. I looked at the time and sighed in annoyance.
"Great, I'm gonna be late." I mutter before getting dressed. I put on my normal outfit (Leather black pants, black sneakers, black mini tank top with a gold heart on it that showed my midriff.) as well as put on black eyeliner in reverse cat eyes style and gloss on before heading out. I was glad it was a warm mid-April day.
Leaving Go Tower was such a pain, but I improved it. I hoped on my motorcycle, which I called my baby often, before driving to the beach. The sand lifted, revealing a small door big enough for 2 bikes. I drove through it, the door closed and I was now driving through a clear tube on the bottom of the ocean before reaching the other side, which lead off of a secluded part of the beach and right towards the street. Just as I got there, I stopped and gasped when I saw a giant condor flying out of the store.
"This is not over!" I heard Aviarius yell, making me realize he was riding the condor.
"That's why he went to those locations." I muttered to myself just as 2 teens and Hego as his normal self, Henry, talking to them.
"Oh boy." I muttered as I parked my bike, giving it a rev to catch their attentions. I got off, took my helmet off and ran over.
"Henry, you ok?" I asked him in a fake concerned voice.
"Goldie, why are you here?" Henry asked me. I gave him a deadpan look.
"You told me to show up to make sure the salsa parade I created was working, as well as everything technological in this place. Actually, I'm late but you're probably glad I am." I told him in a solid tone.
I was then greeted by one of the teens, a blond haired boy wearing tan pants, white and gray sneaks, a red top with a white stripe on the sleeves, collar and the bottom, followed by a black turtle neck long sleeve under it. Right away, I knew they were Smarty Mart clothes.
"Hey, I'm Ron. Ron Stoppable, how's it goin'?" He asked in a flirty tone. He laid it on thick enough for me to understand.
"Cute kid, but I'm 20, so no." I tell him. He seemed to deflate after I said that.
"Um, sis, I wouldn't go inside just yet." Henry tells me.
As soon as he said that, I felt a sinking feeling before rushing in. I saw the sight before me, the salsa parade was ruined, the salad area was smacked, my conveyor belt was near ruined! I gave a shriek before running to my bike. I grabbed my emergency tool kit and started to run in, but stopped and looked at Henry.
"You're company is going to pay me to fix this!" I ordered before running in.
Forget Aviarius, my hard work was 'injured' and needed to be repaired. Well, the place was closed after the attack, Henry was talking to the cops and I finished everything in an hour. Once we were alone, I went over to Henry.
"What was Aviarius doing here?" I asked in a hush tone.
"Wanting revenge on Team Go, what better way than to attack a place during grand opening." He tells me in the same hushed tone.
"What did he do?" I asked him.
"He pointed a staff at me, but I didn't feel anything." He tells me. My face fell hearing that.
"Gold with a diamond on top?" I asked him. He looked at me.
"Yes, but how do you know?" He asked me.
"Remember that staff I made to use against him?" I asked him.
"Yes, but we destroyed the blueprints and locked the staff up." He tells me.
"Well.~" I said then explained how it was stolen years ago.
"And you didn't say anything!" He scolded in a whispered tone.
"Look, I was keeping an eye on him, but I guess he flew under my radar." I told him, then realized my words.
"No pun intended." I added quickly after.
"So, he stole my powers?" He asked me.
"Yes, unless someone physically intervened." I say as I started thinking of a plan on how to warn and protect my other brothers. This is when Henry gasped.
"Oh no." He muttered out.
"What?" I asked him.
"That girl, Kim Possible, she jumped in the way." He tells me.
"Well, this is good news." I tell him with a small smile.
"How so?" He asked me.
"She has your powers, not Aviarius." I tell him with a smile. Why was this good? Well, besides the fact that Hego is now a Nogo like he calls me, but it also means we have the upper hand in this.
"Where do they live?" I asked him.
"Midleton. I know this because the boy, Ron Stoppable, is a platinum VIP for Bueno Nacho." He tells me. I rolled my eyes.
"Then let's get in the jet and go get her before Aviarius finds her and abducts her." I tell him before walking off to my bike outside.
Yeah,~ I have little patience for my brother. My brother followed me quickly.
"We can't take the jet, we'll have to go by car." He tells me.
"No way, you drive like a grandma. If you drive, it'll take us all day!" I say as I followed him to his car.
"We have to obey traffic laws." He says as he unlocks the car. I snatched the keys and hopped in the driver's seat.
"Get in, I'll get us there before Aviarius tracks here." I told him as I start the car.
"No, you're not-" He started but I gave him a death glare.
"Get. In. Or. I. Will. Leave. You." I hissed out. Henry shivered before getting in.
"Just as mean as Shego." He muttered as he buckled up.
"Gee, I wonder why." I say before booking it. I obeyed the traffic laws until we got out of the city, then I went as fast as his crummy car would go, 105 mph, all the way to Midleton.
"Where to?" I asked him as he got off his phone.
"Bueno Nacho. There's only one in that town." He tells me. I had him plug it into the GPS I made and was off. Once close, I slowed down then parked.
"You stay." He tells me.
"But I'm hungry." I tell him.
"Then why didn't you eat earlier?" He tells me.
"Aviarius attack! Duh! Plus, a long 3 hour drive means bathroom break too!" I say before getting out. Henry sighed but agreed. We walked up to the two teens.
"Miss Possible?" Henry asked, making sure that was her name. Ron started a rant on 'The Naco' when I interrupted.
"Look, I'm hungry and gotta pee, so I'll jump into it. Avairius has a staff that can steal powers from people, he tried to steal my brother's here and, when Kim jumped in the way, it went to her instead. We need you to come with us so Aviarius doesn't abduct you and so I can make a replica rod to get the powers back. There. Now talk to him while I hurry." I talked semi quickly before rushing inside. I went up to the desk.
"Welcome to Bueno Nacho, how-" He started but I interrupted him.
"Chimmuritto and Naco duel combo, grande sized, lemonade for the drink and 3 churros, all to go. Where's the bathroom?" I asked him after ordering. The teen was a manager, I know this because of the uniforms, but he seemed to be in high school. Ned was the name on the tag and he had black hair and glassed.
"Right over there. Your total is-" He started but I handed him $20, knowing my combo would be $12.57.
"Be right back." I say then speed to the bathroom. After a couple minutes, as well as washing my hands thoroughly, I came out to grab my food.
"Here you are miss and here's your change." Ned said as he had my change at the ready. I went to take it, but then I noticed his watch.
"Is that the new Orange G2+ watch?" I questioned as I marveled at the not yet released sleek black technology on his wrist.
"You identified what it was by just looking?" Ned asked me.
"Um, yeah. I mean, how could I not!" I says I kept admiring it.
"Mind if I?" I asked him.
"S-sure." He stuttered out before taking it off to show me. I examined it quickly, then fiddled with the settings before giving it back. It could tell time, tell you the weather and work as a pager.
"Let me guess, you know a guy?" I asked him.
"Yup, pretty cool, huh?" He asked me.
"It's nice, but mine's better." I say as I pulled my home made one out of my pocket. He admired my black watch, which I handed to him, while he examined.
"Same as yours, but can also take calls, works with wireless headsets I've made and even takes/accepts calls and video chats." I explained.
"You made this?" He marveled in amazement.
"Yup, one of a kind. Has my trade mark, too." I say as I pointed to the 2 gold G's on the back.
"GG?" He questioned. "My initials. Name's Goldie, nice to geek out with you, Ned." I introduced myself.
"Say, can you make me one of these? I'm only testing out the G2 until it's ready for the market." He tells me.
"I normally don't give away my gadgets-" I start, but he stopped me.
"Oh no, I'd pay you! I mean, you take time to make them and buy the materials, so it makes sense." He explained, which caused me to smile.
"Well, why don't you name the price and add a little extra to make it oil and nacho cheese proof as well." I say as I pulled out my note pad and gold pen for him to write down. He thought about it before jolting it down to show me.
"This enough?" He asked me. I looked at it then at him.
"You sure you wanna pay that price?" I asked him, one eyebrow raised up high. He was offering me $1,500.
"I'm sure. I make enough, plus it'll be worth it." He assures me. I got his number and grabbed my food before my brother poked his head inside.
"Goldie, let's go!" Henry called out.
"Coming, bro!" I called back before looking at Ned.
"Keep the change. It's nice to meet another tech geek." I say with a smile before leaving.
We got in the car, well I pulled Henry out of the driver's side and forced him in the back just to not talk to him. Ron took the chance to jump up front, with his food and drink, as Kim sat in the back. Kim and Henry talked while Ron ate. I then saw a naked mole rat.
"Aw,~ a naked mole rat! What's his name?" I asked with a smile. I adored animals, but never had one as a pet.
"Yeah, thanks, his name's Rufus." He said as Rufus took a nacho chip with cheese and ate it.
"Is he friendly?" I asked him.
"Oh yeah, totally. Wanna pet him?" Ron asked me.
"Sure." I say happily. Ron held Rufus out so I could pet him, which I gently scratched his head and back. Rufus made some noises as he laid down to relax.
"Aw.~ So cute!" I say as I would switch between looking at him and the road.
"Pay attention, will you." Henry lightly scolded me.
"Eh, pipe down granny." I say as I stopped petting Rufus, grabbed my lemonade and took a few big gulps. Rufus then jumped on my shoulder and nuzzled me.
"Aw,~ hey, he really likes ya." Ron commented.
"I never had a pet growing up. Henry there wouldn't let me, though growing up with 4 brothers acting like baboons and only 1 sister to help was a lot." I added as I saw the city sign, meaning we were leaving. I ate my Chimmuritto quickly before securing Rufus to me.
"Hold on." I comment before flooring it again. Kim yelped and Henry scolded me, but I told him to cram it.
"The sooner we get back, the better." I commented.
"Hey, if you can make something to reverse/get their powers back, then why not start and let your bro get us?" Ron asked.
"He drives like a grandma and I'm not sure my invention will work or not. Besides, Grande Jerko there doesn't trust me." I tell them.
"You're right, I don't." Henry commented back. I glared at him through the mirror, he glared back.
"See, this makes me glad I don't have siblings." Ron commented.
"He's just mad because my gadgets can outdo his powers and now he's powerless." I commented.
"So,~ what's your power?" Ron asked.
"She has none." Henry commented.
"My mind is my power. He just refuses to believe it." I say in annoyance.
"My super strength is better." Henry commented. I then grabbed Ron's arm before making a hard jerk right, causing Henry to smash into the window pretty hard but not Ron, before moving back into the correct lane.
"Oops,~ sorry." I say sarcastically with a smirk on my face.
"You did that on purpose!" Henry scolded.
"You have no proof." I say smugly as I took out my Naco.
"Hey, that reminds me, can you explain why the naco isn't in the shop, Goldie?" Ron asked me.
"Because it went through a taste test and failed. People in Go City are dull, dull, dull." I say as I finished my naco.
"Well, that sucks." Ron pouted.
"You went through the private files! You're not supposed to!" Henry scolded me.
"I was bored, so what? You would've told him anyways, so what difference does it make?" I asked him.
"A big one!" Henry exaggerated. This went on for 3 hours before we finally made it to the Mucho Grande Bueno Nacho.
"Why are we here?" Kim asked.
"Henry will take you to Go Tower, I'll follow on my bike. I don't want a ticket." I said, tossing Henry the keys then went to my ride.
Well, I beat them there, no surprise. I had ways of getting into the tower without my powers, no thanks to Hego. I immediately thought of a plan. Yeah, I lied about making an invention to negate Aviarius' staff I helped with. I knew the best way to stop it was to destroy the top. It used to be a diamond, but it had been returned, so he's most likely using a glass base of sorts, or even Cubic Zirconium as a replacement. My plan is to locate Aviarius, which I believe his main one is on the mountain area this time since the other ones were torn down, try to trap him or something like that, then break the gem.
Problem?
Aviarius knows my moves, my ideas, he's one of the toughest ones to trick due to this.
^Perhaps a sneak attack.^ I thought as I tried to remember that lair, but failing to do so. I saw Henry, Kim and Ron enter, so I decided to walk away.
"Hey Goldie, where ya heading?" Ron asked me.
"To my room to work." I say before leaving. It wasn't a lie. I went to my room and got dressed in my costume, grabbed a few things, tossed on normal clothes, pocketed my mask then went back out just as Hego was explaining about Shego and stuff.
"Yeah, Shego was a great big sister, but she left because of idiot one here. Speaking of idiot, where's Mego?" I asked him.
"Goldie, not now." Hego said harshly. Kim and Ron felt that and flinched.
"Whatever. Also, you know I'm part of Team Go too." I say and fix the hologram to add me.
"You don't have powers, Nogo." He says to me. I gave a cold stare, causing Ron to shudder.
"Yup, definitely Shego's sister. Same glare and all." Ron explained.
"I can't keep repeating myself, so this will be the last time since they are here. My name is Igo, not Nogo, not No-Power-Go, not Not-A-Real-Go, it's Igo. You know, only Shego ever called me that, never once calling me those names you and Mego deemed me and got the Wegos to call me too." I say in a cold tone. I was sick of this. Hego then ignored me and showed them the meteor, which did contain a very tiny amount of yellow at the top.
"This gave us, minus Nogo, powers and we became Team Go." Hego explained.
"The meteor has yellow in it, so I must have some kind of powers. Never-the-less, stop calling me Nogo!" I say then snapped at the last part. Then Mego rang the bell, causing Hego to let him in. The two had a mini fight about Aviarius stealing his powers, which made me pale.
"Listen, I'm going to call the Wegos, they've been gone for too long. I fear Aviarius might have them." I say, being ignored completely, before walking out.
Thing was, I knew Aviarius had them, call it a sister's intuition, so I had to get into action. I went to the storage area, where I keep all my inventions whether they were in tack or not, grabbed my mini jet pack, put on my powered roller shoes then took my clothes off to show my cat suit. I tie on my mask, then wore a helmet for safety reasons, before taking off, skating through my tunnel and out into public. I knew where 'The Nest' was so, off I went.
^Now is my chance to save the day, to be the hero I know I can be.^ I thought as I went 115 mph. Once I reached close to the mountain, I switched to flying and was quick to get up there, though I worried I might not have been subtle. I hacked into the electric lock before sneaking in. The traps were easy to bipass as well.
^This is strange, usually his traps are a little harder. Heck, his keypad was easy to get in… Is he slipping up?^ I thought as I got inside the main area. I didn't see Aviarius, but I saw the Wegos.
"Wegos, you ok?" I whispered to them loud enough for them to hear as I snuck over.
"Nogo, stop!" Wego one, closest to the door called out.
"It's a trap!" Wego two yelled out. It was too late, though. I felt something hit the back of my head, pretty hard too I might add. I fell down, head throbbing in pain as my vision blurred.
"I was expecting you, Igo. Right on time." Aviarius said before lightly cackling.
^I can't believe I fell for his trap.^ I thought as I tried to get up. I then saw a few red Aviarius' before sighing.
"Darn it." I mumble, being too late to save my younger brothers. I was then grabbed by my arms and forced over to a small throne type of chair near Aviarius' throne, though on the bottom. I tried to move away, but I was forced there and tightly secured.
"I might not be able to make you watch me steal all of your teammate's powers, but you can watch as I humiliate and defeat them before dealing with you personally." Aviarius tells me.
"Still bitter I tricked you and captured you?" I asked in a slightly cocky tone.
"Not as much since you fell for my trap." He replied in the same cocky tone as me. I slowly got my vision back and gave him a cold glare.
"You know, you really do look better without a mask on." He says as he pulls mine off of me.
"You're pathetic, Avery." I say in a low tone, too low for the twins to hear me.
"It's a shame you betrayed me. You've grown into a lovely golden swan since the last time you were in my lair." He tells me.
"Hey, don't flirt with her!" Wego one yelled.
"Yeah, you old Archaeopteryx!" Wego two mocked, surprising me with the fact they called him the oldest bird species on record.
"You two be silent before I send my condor on you!" Aviarius yelled, turning to them and pointing his staff at them.
"You managed to fix the staff." I commented. Aviarius looked at me.
"Yes, thanks to your plans. Those blueprints might've been destroyed, but I made a spare. Different topper, but I'm surprised you didn't destroy it. Then again, it must be hard to destroy your own work, though not telling the rest of Team Go I stole it? It's as if you wanted this to happen." He said and cackled.
"No, I figured-" I started but he cut me off.
"-That you'd stop me and be the big hero you longed to be? Ha! Yet, here you are, my prisoner. You would've made an excellent villain, yet you stick with them? Tell me, judging by how those annoying twins called you Nogo, do they still mock you? Even after Shego abandoned you?" He asked me. I looked away from him, feeling my nose slightly stinging. This was a sign that I felt like crying.
"I thought so. Nothing has changed in those 5 years, in fact it got worse, didn't it?" He asked me. I looked further away from him, confirming his question.
"Too bad I can't trust you, or else I'd off you the same thing I did 5 years ago." He tells me, causing the Wegos to gasp. I would've told him off, just like before, except… I felt nothing, since he was right.
"Are you… Are you actually thinking about it this time?" He asked me in a quiet tone. When I didn't look at him, he grabbed my chin and had me look at him. He then frowned.
"I remember, when I first made you look at me, you had light in your eyes. Now, they're almost dull. Such a shame, Team Go broke most of your spirit before I could." He said loudly, most likely on purpose to take a jab at my brothers. I just moved my eyes away from him, but still felt his gaze on me still.
"Too bad I can't trust you." He says, letting go of my chin before going back to his 'throne' on top of a few stone steps that were to my right. We then heard a soft beeping sound.
"Ah, the Go Jet is in vicinity, good. I wonder if they know you're here, Igo." Aviarius gleefully said before he started cackling like a maniac.
"Soon, all the powers of Team Go will be mine! At long last, control of Go City will be mine and after so many years, vengeance will be mine!" Aviarius ranted in glee.
"Mine, mine, mine." Wego two said in annoyance.
"He sounds just like Mego." Wego one added in the same annoyed tone.
"Except more annoying." I added, causing the Wegos to chuckle.
"Silence! All three of you!" Aviarius screeched in annoyance, causing me to roll my eyes.
^Note to self, make a mini skeleton key or laser on one wrist to get out of this.^ I thought, cursing myself for not thinking of that sooner.
Then there was a rumble, followed by spinning blue coming up from the floor. Kim had stopped spinning but looked dizzy. She said something, to which Aviarius countered. That's when Shego popped out.
"Not gonna happen!" Shego yelled out, anger on her face as her hands began glowing.
"Ooh,~ The complete set is within my reach!" Aviarius gleefully taunted out as he turned purple.
"Shego! It's a trap!" I called out to her, also being very happy to finally see my big sister after nearly a year. Shego went to tackle Aviarius, completely ignoring me, as he shrunk, causing her to miss and land into the wall, then slide into my lap.
"Told ya." I told her.
"You got caught again?" She asked me, a mix of confusion and a 'you gotta be joking' tone.
"Sorry, he one upped me." I told her.
"I'm with the big dude! Mad love for the super strength!" I heard Ron yell out.
"Listen, I didn't make a failsafe, but if you destroy the top on the staff, it'll be useless." I told her as she got up and swiped at my bondage with her glowing green hands.
"Why didn't you destroy it?" She asked me.
"How can I? I love all of my inventions." I told her, dusting myself off, then looked with a pale face.
"Look out!" I yelled, seeing Kim was about to get hit. Shego then ran and helped Kim get away, as I hid behind the chair.
^Think, Goldie, think. I could fight him, but with those powers, it'll be hard to. His inventions break easily, so that's a no. What to do...^ I thought as I heard the fight going on. Heat seeking explosive humming were all around, before being aimed at Aviarius, who dodged but had the entrance to them destroyed. Then he summoned his Flamingo of Doom.
"Seriously! You need a better name for it!" I yelled out before changing hiding spots, since one of the feet nearly stepped on me. I then thought of it.
^If I can steal the staff, then he'll be normal again! But I need a distraction.^ I thought as I peeked out to see the battle. I gasped as Kim and Shego were drained of their powers.
Seeing Shego there, powerless and weak on the floor. I felt mad. Then seeing Aviarius manipulate the powers to attack my brothers, I felt fury. This was a new type of anger I had never felt before. Aviarius was winning, that was the worst part. Once all were there, in a center, Kim kicked the staff from Aviarius. I took the chance, ran, flipped on my hands and propelled myself up high before catching it.
"I got it!" I yelled out. Aviarius screeched out a loud 'no' as I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Wow, you did it. You actually did it." Hego said, which actually upset me.
"Finally, you did something right. Now, give me my powers." Mego said in that egotistical tone of his. Something snapped in me.
"Or..." I said as I looked at my precious invention.
"Or?" Kim questioned skeptically. I looked up at them, causing them to look at me curiously.
"Maybe I don't give them back." I say as I give a smirk, backing up away from them.
"Sis?" The Wegos questioned.
"Wait, you're siblings?" Aviarius asked but was ignored. I looked at the glowing crystal, smile turning wicked before I looked at all of them.
"Maybe I could have all the powers, showing all of you how pathetic you made me feel for years." I say with evil dripping in each word.
"Haha, very funny, come on sis. You're not evil." Mego said as he reached out to the staff, but I took a step back.
"Come on, we're family. Now, give us our powers and we'll go back to normal." Hego said, but I shot a glare at him.
"Normal? Normal?! Nothing is normal! We fight, you all gang up against me, only Shego defended me against all of you and she abandoned us! I actually don't blame her for abandoning us! I'm upset she cut contact with me, but I'm angrier that not only you four drove her away, but you've beaten down my dreams and credit for years!" I yell, my anger fully boiling over.
"I'm tired of being left behind! I'm tired of never getting credit! You have the whole damn city against me, calling me Nogo and all those awful names! I'm tired of being treated like nothing!" I screamed at them, my anger level going higher than ever.
"Sis, come on, you're a good guy, a, uh, well, sidekick." Hego started to explain, causing Shego to face palm.
"See, that's what's upsetting her." Shego commented.
"Condor! Attack!" Aviarius yelled out. The condor flew down behind me, but I glowed blue, using Hego's strength to lift my fist up and smash the condor in the face without looking.
"Sorry Avery, but not this time." I say to him, not caring I revealed who he was.
Wait, Avery? Avery Feathercluster?!" Mego questioned in shock.
"How dare you reveal who I am!" Aviarius screeched.
"Igo, I thought you were on our side?" Kim asked me, using my hero name.
"Yeah, I mean, this is something I would do, but you?" Shego asked me.
"Am I disappointing you? Like you did when you left me alone? When you never contacted me? Not even a 'Happy Birthday, congrats on being 20'?" I questioned her.
"No, actually, I'm impressed you never snapped sooner." Shego commented with a small smile.
"Shego!" Kim snapped at her.
"Well, I don't believe it. You may have grown into a cranky smart mouth like Shego, but moodier, but I know deep down, we're family." Hego tried to assure me.
"But you still don't see me as part of Team Go, do you?" I asked him.
"No, because you're not." Hego said in a nice tone. Everyone except me, and obviously Hego, face palmed at this. I felt rage as I used Hego's strength to backhand him into a wall.
"Doesn't feel too good, does it? Remember you did that to me? Well, now you know how I felt!" I screamed as Mego and the Wegos hid behind a pillar.
I then used the staff and waved it around me, causing a rainbow glitter to form around me, then I was levitated a bit before a rainbow aurora appeared behind and around me, showing I absorbed all the powers of Team Go.
"Aw, I could've used all the powers at once?!" Aviarius screeched out in surprise.
"And you were too dumb to realize it." I say with an evil smirk.
I saw Kim heading towards me, so I ran to the throne, picked up the chair with the blue strength and tossed it at Kim, which caused her to run before her, as well as Ron, move away from it. Ron hid behind a beam as I appeared in front of Kim, hands now glowing green with Shego's power.
"I don't want to harm you, so stay out of it while I teach my brothers a lesson." I warned her. She then went to kick me, which I dodged.
"Sorry, but I can't let you do that." She tells me.
I tried to hit her, but she kept dodging. She was a good fighter. I smirked before multiplying myself to make a total of 4 copies plus myself. My copies attacked her, using blue and green glows together to go after her while the real me shrunk small to escape. I then came face to face with Rufus.
"Just let me punish them!" I yelled at him. Rufus shook his head no and began attacking me.
"Sorry little buddy." I say as I grabbed his tail and used strength to toss him very far. I then grew large right in front of Mego and the Wegos. They gasped as I grabbed Mego's throat.
"Who's the No-Power-Go now?!" I yelled in his face. He whimpered.
"I-I am." He whimpered out. I smirked.
"Good, you've learned." I say before using strength to throw him into a wall. I made clones of myself and grabbed the Wegos by the back of their necks.
"And who is now 'Nogo'?" I questioned them.
"W-we are?" They both questioned in fear.
"Very good." I say evilly before using strength to punch them in the gut.
The clones gave me a warning signal, so I shrunk small and avoided Kim's kick. I grew large and used strength to backhand her back into a beam, smashing her through it.
"Stay out of family matters!" I scold her in a loud voice as my clones used strength to toss the twins to the side. I used my clones to grab Hego and bring him to me.
"And who's now a Not-A-Real-Go? The Not-Gonna-Go? The Never-Gonna-Be-A-Real-Go?" I questioned Hego, my eyes showing I had fully snapped.
"Sis." Hego started, but my clones used strength on him as I used plasma hands to slash his chest.
"Tell me!" I screamed as my eyes went white with a yellow glow around them as if they were flames. Hego flinched and whimpered.
"Me?" He whimpered out.
"Finally! You know how I feel!" I screamed as I used strength to toss him towards my other brothers. I then turned towards Shego.
"And you." I hissed out in anger. Shego saw my glowing eyes and backed up a couple steps.
"Igo, wait. You're eyes are glowing. They're yellow. You, you do have powers." She said meekly, nearly desperately as I moved closer to her.
"I knew I did. I never saw the glow, but I often said my mind was my power. That comet made me intelligent, able to retain knowledge and think very quickly. Now that I have all the powers, it triggered my powers more-so. I have quick thoughts, better reflexes, I'm now the superior Go! You, oh you. You, dear sister, abandoned me. I just want to know, why?" I asked as I had her backed up to the wall.
"Because I was going to work for Dr. Drakken. It was supposed to be a temporary thing, but he paid very well so I stayed. I couldn't bring you with me because I didn't want to force you into being evil." She confessed to me.
"You could've kept in contact with just me." I say as I felt my nose start to sting.
"I didn't want to hear 'You're a Team Go' spiel from you." She told me.
"I wouldn't have said anything about it! I wouldn't have cared if you went evil, if you were alone or a sidekick, I wouldn't have cared! I missed you! I missed my sister! I needed you; I needed my big sister!" I said to her, my eyes had stopped glowing as they showed how dull, yet watery, they were. Shego then moved, but it wasn't to attack me. She grabbed Kim and punched her in the face, which allowed me to use strength to punch Kim so hard, she flew into a wall next to Ron.
"Stay out of our Family Business!" We both shouted at her before looking at each other.
"I never needed to prove anything to you or make you proud, so I think this belongs to you." I say before giving her back her powers. She was shocked by this.
"Wait, you're giving them back?" Shego questioned me.
"You're my sister, the only person to ever believe in me aside from Aviarius, stand up for me and such. I want to keep in contact, but for now, go. Leave, before I change my mind." I say to her while taking two steps back.
"So,~ you're not mad?" Shego asked me.
"I'm upset you never kept contact with me, but I'm not mad at you. I'm still mad at them." I say as I point the staff at our brothers.
"I'm going to finish punishing them." I say as I started heading over, but then the ground shook, followed by a robot smashing through the ceiling.
"Dr. Drakken?" Shego questioned in shock. I looked and saw a blue dude with a scar in the robot.
"That's right, Shego. Kim Possible's computer Kid told me how you were at the mercy of a villain. Where is this Aviarius?" He questioned.
"Over there, defeated. Shego's free to leave." I tell him. He then looked right at me.
"Um, who are you?" He asked me, eying me up and down.
"Whoa, hey, no eying my sister!" Shego scolded as she got in front of me. That's when Kim kicked the staff, causing it to fly out of my hands.
"Nooooo!~" I screeched as the crystal hit the wall and shattered, also breaking my staff into many unfix-able pieced. All the powers were then returned to my brothers, causing me to fall to my knees.
"I, but, no..." I stammered and whimpered out as I realized, not only I was defeated, but I had done the one thing I never wanted to do. Betray my family. Shego then jumped on the robot leg before looking at me.
"Sis, come with me." She offered, holding her hand to me. I looked at her, my eyes dilated, lifeless and wet as tears fell. I only shook my head no. She gave me a sad look before climbing into the robot.
"Let's go, Dr. D." Shego said before the robot left. Aviarius was captured and my brothers, now having powers again, were glaring at me. My lower lip quivered as I felt broken.
"I… I'm sorry." I whimpered out as more tears fell from my face. I then lowered my face, covering it with both of my hands as I began sobbing.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I, I snapped. I, I just, I'm sorry." I sobbed out to them.
I felt Hego lift me up from the back of my suit, my body limp as my hands kept my face covered. I felt ashamed. I felt a hand grabbed my wrists to pull my hands down. I looked at Hego right in the face, shame on my face. He had a frown, but his eyes showed sadness.
"I'm sorry." He suddenly said. I tilted my head.
"What?" I questioned softly.
"I'm sorry. You're right, you have powers, you are important to the team. You are a part of Team Go, I was just too selfish to see it. You broke, lashed out on us and we deserved it." Hego said as he gave a sad look.
"We're really sorry." I heard the Wegos say, causing me to look at my sad twin brothers.
"Yeah, we never realized how much this hurt you until now." Mego said softly, causing me to look at him and his sad face.
"So… Am I going to jail?" I questioned them.
"No, this stays between us." Hego said as he gave a small smile before they all pulled me into a group hug. I was let go before looking over at Kim, Ron and Rufus. I sighed before walking over to them.
"Listen, I'm sorry I hurt all of you, well mostly Kim and Rufus, but I had so~ much bottled up in me for years, I had no idea it would boil over today. I'm very sorry." I say as I looked down sadly.
"Hey, it's ok. I mean, anyone would snap from years of teasing and such, which is why it's surprising it didn't happen sooner." Ron told me as he patted my shoulder. I looked at him then at Kim.
"Shego filled us in when we were coming up with a plan." Kim said with an understanding look. I only nodded my head. I then looked at Rufus, slowly putting my hand to him.
"Sorry." I say softly to him. He leaned forward and nuzzled my fingers, letting me know all was good.
"Mhm. All good." He said in his cute little voice. This Naked Mole Rat was smart enough to know how to say some words when others couldn't, which slightly surprised me.
I had my mask back on for reporters as Aviarius was taken back to jail. What surprised me was my brothers said I was the hero and was the one that had not only saved the day but should've got credit in the past. I should've felt happy about that, finally being deemed a real hero, except… I felt very little.
We went to Hego's job as I went into the back and whipped up a bunch of food for everyone. I wasn't a great cook, but most of this was pre-made so it worked out well. Ron and Hego were together, chatting and eating, Mego and the Wegos were chatting about getting the team back together, Kim was off talking into her Kimmunicator while I was leaning against the wall, watching it all. Kim then came over to me.
"You still care for Shego, don't you?" She asked me.
"You don't have sisters, do ya?" I asked her.
"No, only younger twin brothers." She tells me.
"Well, Shego's my only sister and I had always looked up to her. She was my best friend, the only one to believe in me. Even before the powers, she would defend me. Henry used to as well, until we got our powers. I was 7 at the time. It took 13 years for them to finally see the pain I was feeling. I always whined, complained, pouted and threw tantrums until I just outgrew it. I think this was what we needed." I say to her as I saw the boys get together and start a mini food fight.
Henry was trying to stop it, but Micah smashed refried beans in his face. Henry got mad, but then chuckled and tossed cooled down nacho cheese at Micah but missed and hit Weston (Wego 1) Which caused Westen (Wego 2) to laugh. Then Weston took the cheese and hit Westen with it, causing more food to be flung. I chuckled and shook my head.
"I couldn't imagine never getting credited on anything." She tells me.
"Yeah, even your computer nerd friend gets credit." I say nonchalantly.
"I heard that!" I heard a kid's voice. Kim pulled out her kimmunicator to introduce me to Wade.
"I'm Wade, so you're Goldie?" He asked me.
"Nice to meet you, genius. So how smart are you?" I questioned him.
"Smart enough to get through high school and college in 8 months." He tells me.
"So? I decided to take my time. I meant I.Q. stats?" I asked him.
"146." He tells me. I raised my eyebrow.
"Impressive, very impressive. Mine is 160." I told him with a smirk. He spat out a drink he was sipping.
"What?!" He questioned.
"Yeah, I don't use all of it in school because I like to lay low. Still, not bad for a ten-year-old. Maybe it'll increase over time." I tell him, seeing as how I was double his age.
"Ok, if it wasn't for the comet, what would it be for real?" He asked me.
"Perhaps 127, give or take a point or two." I estimated. This seemed to somewhat satisfy Wade.
"Any plans after all of this?" Kim asked as we watched my brothers, as well as Ron and Rufus, make a bigger mess.
"No, just finish this year of college. I'll probably see if I can advance higher to complete college and see about jobs in the technology field." I tell her.
"That's a good thing." Kim said with a smile. The thing was, as I watched my brothers make fools of themselves, I still felt something off inside of me.
After they cleaned up, we all said goodbye to the trio before heading to Go Tower. I helped the boys clean up before excusing myself for the night. It was 8 pm but it was somewhat normal to either be in bed early or very late. I laid in bed for hours until I looked at the clock. 1:18 am. I sighed before sitting up.
"Time to go." I said softly out loud before swinging my feet over the edge of my bed and stood up. I used my infinity cube, my newest invention, to literally pack up my entire room, minus a few things as well as my carpet that was attached to the floor and the bed frame with the mattress, before sneaking out to the halls, making sure to deactivate my lock so they can all enter.
Outside Micah's room I left a note as well as a basket full of my unused, expensive skin care and hair care products. Next, I went to Weston's and Westen's room, yes they still shared a room, before dropping off a basket full of my old games they enjoy playing as well as two notes. After, I snuck to Henry's room door and left him a basket with little finger puppets of all of us in costumes, even Shego, as well as the villains we faced, some cash and blueprints he can use for the new bueno nacho location he runs as well as a note.
I then snuck to where I kept my inventions, sad my staff had been broken and to no repair, as I packed them all up in my cube. I went to my bike and sighed, looking back at the door one last time.
"Goodbye, Team Go." I say softly before putting on my helmet. I then started my bike before opening the underwater entrance, driving off into Go City.
Once I pulled out all of my money in the bank, over ½ million dollars, I drove out of Go City and into the night, wherever the road takes me. I didn't know where I was going, nor did I care. All I know was, I was no longer a hero, but perhaps not a villain. I needed to find myself, my true self. Even if it meant being alone.
In the morning at Team Go Tower 3rd person POV
Team Go awoke to find the baskets full of stuff as well as their notes.
'Dear 'insert name of brother',
By the time you wake up, I will be gone from the tower and from Go City. I'm very sorry, but I don't feel good enough to be a hero. Years of being told not to has done too much damage. Even now, when I am considered one, I do not feel the joy I should be feeling.
I don't know if I'm meant to be a hero or a villain, I feel torn between the two. I also feel I do not belong here, not anymore at least, nor do I feel like I belong in Go City.
Therefore, I have left to go discover myself, my personality, who I am and what I'm meant to be. It's a journey I must travel alone. I have left you with gifts to have you remember me by. There are little note cards in each basket to let you know where to get the products needed and uniforms tailored.
I'm sorry but saying goodbye in person would've been too hard and you all would've convinced me to stay. My room is unlocked, use it as you see fit. I love you. All of you. I'm sorry.
~Goldie.'
They tried not to cry, but after confirming Goldie was gone, a small bit of tears were shed. No signs of Goldie were there except for the paint on her bedroom walls and carpet on her floor. Even her gold painted bathroom with back furnishing was left intact.
Micah leaned over the sink and nearly sobbed, he could no longer come in and 'borrow' her stuff, see her get mad at him and him ruffle her hair. Weston and Westen could no longer bug her as she invented or fixed their clothes, nor would she be there to tutor them. Henry was the most broken, though. He finally admitted he was wrong, and she left them. This was the second sister he lost, the second he might never get back, the second he drove away. He felt broken but looked at his brothers and assured them he'd be there for them.
Team Go was together once again, even with two less members. In honor of their sister, they painted yellow onto the jet and added her chair to the table. It was sad, but they learned to value each other more, no matter how much they annoy one another.
Now for Goldie? She woke up in the afternoon in a cheap motel, thankful there were no roaches and bed bugs, as she typed away on her laptop. She would finish her college courses online while working. She saw a help wanted article online and curiously clicked on it.
'Help Wanted: In need of a top-notch mechanic, engineer, technician and computer tech. Will pay handsomely. To apply, please call 1-888-436-2426.' Intrigued, Goldie called and applied, explaining her talents. Once the address was written down, she hung up. She would meet them tomorrow. Just enough time to get to the location if she left now.
Stay tuned to see what happens next!
