I'm back, kiddies. I'm still testing out Gogo's personality, since I sometimes overdo it or add too much into characters. I'm thinking of her voice as well. Any ideas?
Chapter 7: Races, Traps and Thefts; Oh My!
(This happens at the same time as Steal Wheels)
Gogo's POV
It has been two weeks since I first met Motor Ed; Damn, that man annoyed me. I will admit, he had a sweet bike though. I couldn't stop thinking about his profile I read as I stealthily swiped a diamond the size of a baseball.
Ok, so normally diamond theft isn't my thing, but I was getting paid to steal it. So, steal it, I shall. As I was leaving the museum, I froze when I saw two rare pieces. 2 statues, about the size of a Darbie doll, of 2 Egyptian goddesses. They were made of a rare black stone with gold painted onto them.
Sekhmet, the goddess of the hot desert sun, plague, chaos, war and healing. The statue showed her in Egyptian clothing, the hair women had back then, the snake head piece with the sun behind it and holding a royal staff in her right hand. Her head was that of a lioness.
Next to it was her sister, Bastet. She was the goddess of protection, pleasure and the bringer of good health. She looked just like her sister except her left hand held the scepter. Also, both were on a small stone bottom attached to it that had the names in Egyptian, followed by a name plate under them to say who was who.
Now, I'm ok with certain artifacts, even though I'm not much of a history buff but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate fine art. Plus, they'd be worth a pretty penny to the right buyer. I quickly stole them, sign as well, just as I heard footsteps. I used my auto hook and rope then aimed it at the ceiling, sending myself flying upwards, just as the guard looked around.
"Egyptian section looks clear, Mark. I need to head back to get a new flashlight." I heard the guard radio before he walked off. See, I had shut the alarms off, but they were getting close to finding me.
^Damn, I'm taking longer than I'd like.^ I thought to myself as I slowly lowered myself down. I had to get back to the glass ceiling panel I entered from, get my device, turn it off and go. I grabbed a few more jewels/jewelry on my way out, not knowing what they were nor caring of the value as I was just swiping them by the hand full, putting it in my bag and repeating before escaping.
I might as well, right? Plus, I can look up everything later.
I hurried out just as a guard came in and radioed that some gems were stolen. I took my device and escaped, turned it off when I was a block away, then got on my bike and zoomed off. I made it back to my hide out, went to the living room and displayed all my items on my coffee table before turning on the TV.
"In local news, Midleton Museum was just robbed less than an hour ago. All the alarms and cameras had been disabled during the robbery, so there is no footage of who took them. The items that were missing were The Devil's Eye, loaned to Midleton Museum for this week only by the Smithsonian Museum, as well as other valuable gems and jewelry, such as the Emerald necklace worn by Princess Astrid that was also loaned to the museum, Rubies found in Thailand, The Queen of Romania Sapphire, a rare pair of Kashmir sapphires discovered in Australia, diamonds from around the world and a pair of Egyptian statues of the goddesses Sekhmet and Bastet were also swiped, as well as a sign to indicate which was which. Whomever this thief is, they're very smart and sneaky. Could it be The Shadow Ninja that's struck other places before? Or was it one of the other known villains who stole these items? We may never know." The man on the news said, causing me to sort all my stuff out with a smile. I picked up the sapphire necklace with glee.
"I wonder how much you're worth?" I questioned before grabbing my laptop from my room. I researched that and giggled with joy, kicking my feet back and forth a little bit as if I were a child.
"Over $2 million?! Whoo-hoo!" I cheered in joy.
I quickly snapped a picture of it, on a display form with a tiny green screen behind it, before posting it online on WWW. Villains Auctions .Org. I explained what it was and how much it was valued at before starting a bid at $1.5 million. I knew three gentleman who would buy this, but why call and debate?
If I post it online, it will auction off faster and I can make more money. I had also made sure Wade, Kim's computer guy, couldn't access it. Well, not unless he found a way around it, but this site never once popped up on his radar since only certain villains can log into it. As soon as it was posted, I knew emails were sent to the villains to purchase it.
How?
I made the site with Hench's help. He knew how to market and such, so any account made, he gets the monthly profits, minus mine and my 50% from it. Basically, I could be a multi-billionaire if I desired, but there are times it's not worth it. Besides, people would start to wonder how I came across it and such. No use going through all of it. Also, most of my money goes into certain mechanic parts, tolls, anything tech/mech/motor related that I can't steal. I looked up other items and decided to sell the other small stones before getting a call.
"Go for Gogo." I answer.
"I saw the news, when can you deliver my boss' diamond?" I heard a man's voice. Yes, I never talked to his boss, but I didn't care as long as I got paid.
"Depends. How much am I getting?" I asked as I did a quick search on this diamond. It was worth almost $70 million, maybe $85 million! I knew it was in the multi-million area, but not that much!
"You will get $10 million." He tells me. I frowned.
"Yeah,~ no. See, I know how much it's worth. Including my fee, I want at least $60 million for it." I told him. I heard whispering and shuffling sounds.
"The Boss is willing to give you $40 million." I heard the reply.
"Sorry, but no. Call me back when you agree, but each day you delay will bring the price up by $2 million. If nothing after a week, I'll auction it or contact another whom will buy it." I reply before hanging up. One thing's for sure, you never mess with me. They want to scam me? Let them try. I then got an alert on my watch, causing me to look at it. I smirked before getting up, slipping my mask and hood back on.
"Time to Gogo." I say wickedly before leaving my hide out. Since no one knew where my hide out was, not even Hench knew, I left all the gems exposed without a care.
My mail? Some normal ones went to a P.O. box, evil stuff went to Hench's office. With his permission, of course. Anyhow, I was off on my bike to a place that only took me an hour to get to at top speed. What was I stealing this time? Well, it's a new type of hover tech.
Why was I interested? Well, I wanted to see if it was better than mine or not. If so, then I will steal it. If not? They can keep it. Simple. I used my device to turn the whole building off before picking the lock to enter. Yes, I went old school.
I went inside, used my stick on unlock device to power the door and unlock it before entering the lab. I saw the blueprints, happy there was a solid copy, right on a desk. I scanned the room before grabbing it. As I opened and looked, I frowned.
^Damn, not that good. Looks like it's an early stage. 'Sigh' oh well.^ I thought sadly before rolling the prints up. As I went to put it back, though.
"Hey, why the heck are you here?! Seriously?!" I heard the familiar voice of Motor Ed behind me. I gave a smirk from under my mask.
^Maybe this was worth the trip after all.^ I mused in my head before turning my upper body halfway to face him. I showed the blueprints in my left hand, waving it as his eyes followed them, before running towards him.
"Can't escape this time. Seriously." He said as he tried to block the exit. Problem? No. Why? His legs were spread open. I slid like a baseball player sliding to home base right under him, between his legs, before rising up. He gasped and turned as I got up, facing him, while waving the blueprints again.
"Seriously?!" He gasped before I made a run for it.
He gave chase after me. I grabbed my device and switched it off, causing the building to power on, before going on my bike. Motor Ed saw me on my bike and immediately got on his just as I pealed out. He followed me quickly as I drove to an open area, no buildings and such. He followed me, as predicted. I stopped my bike and got off it, causing him to do the same.
"You want it?" I asked in a taunting voice.
"Like, yeah. Seriously, like, why else steal it? Seriously." He questioned in that god awful way of his. It made me cringe a bit.
"I know you can drive. Let's play 'Keep a way'." I taunt him. Yes, I was being childish, but I didn't care.
Well, he accepted this challenge and tried to take it. I kept it away as he kept chasing me. He tried to grab me a couple time, but was failing, until I goofed. I didn't see the small rock under me and tripped just as he grabbed my arm, causing him to fall on top of me right onto the floor.
"No fair.~ I tripped." I playfully whined out. This was actually entertaining to me. He took this chance to pin down my wrists.
"Enough games, I want those plans." He tells me.
"Take 'em." I tell him in a casual tone.
"Wait, seriously?" He asked me.
"Yeah, they're lame. Not as good as mine. I mean, comparing mine to that? That's a 1894 Benz Velo speed wise (12 MPH) compared to my 1993 McLaren F1 speed (240.1 MPH)." I tell him. He seemed deflated, then smirked.
"Fine, then I'll, like, take another prize. Seriously." He tells me with a smug smirk. I was confused until I felt him grab both my mask and hood, forcing them off of me.
"No!" I gasped out.
I didn't want to reveal myself yet. I mean, this wasn't our second meet up. It was our 5th one in two weeks. He had stolen, and gotten away with, one rare engine piece but not other stuff I stole from under him. I wasn't ready to reveal myself to him. Still, he pulled it off me as my hair flipped over to cover my face.
"Now to see who Goldilocks really is. Seriously." He says before moving my hair. I saw his face drop when he saw me. I only sighed.
"Take a good look, because it'll most likely be the last time you see me." I tell him before using my strength to flip him off of me and have me on top. I unrolled the blueprints and dropped it on his face before snatching my hood and mask back.
"Thanks for ruining my game." I say as I got up, walking right to my bike.
"Wait, game?" He asked me.
"Well, duh.~" I say before turning my upper body to look at him.
"To me, this is a game. Who can out steal one another, who can out race the other, stuff like that. Well, now you've seen me, so the game's ruined." I tell him with a shrug.
"Like, why do you say that?" He asked me.
"Because you're not going to concentrate. You'll just see a girl, not an opponent to beat. You men tend to be the same." I tell him before turning away and head for my bike once more.
"Hey, look, you're a chick. Yeah, like, I knew that. I didn't think you were, like, seriously gorgeous, but, like, do we have to end our racing? I mean, you're, like, the only person to give me a thrill. Seriously." He tells me. I roll my eyes a bit.
"That depends. Maybe if I see you again, we'll see how you act." I tell him before hopping on my bike and sped off. My fun was ruined, thanks to Motor Ed. I made it back to the lair with a sigh.
"Why did he have to do that." I muttered before tossing my stuff to the corner of my bedroom.
I stripped, showered, changed into black mini shorts and a gold top with black slippers on before going back to my hoard and laptop. I checked out my auction and smiled. My necklace sold to Falsetto Jones for nearly $3 million. This pleased me a bit, so I scanned and saw the other minor gems sold for a few thousand to other villains whom wanted them.
I then decided to sell that emerald necklace and the twin Australian sapphires. The sapphires were valued at $2 million while the necklace, as lovely as it is, is only valued close to $16,000. I put them for auction separately and was surprised the necklace, which I put on both buy and action, was instantly sold to Falsetto as well. I decided to send him a private message containing my number. After 3 seconds, my phone rang.
"Go for Gogo." I answered.
"Ah, so you're Gogo." I heard a high pitch voice on the other end. I knew he had a condition, but hearing the voice? I had to swallow a laugh.
"Yes, I am." I answer with a deep breath.
"Well, I was the one whom requested you to steal the Devil's eye for me." He informed me.
"Oh, so you know about your henchman trying to scam me, then?" I asked him.
"Scam you? I told him I wanted him to pay you accordingly. How much did he offer?" He asked me.
"First $10 million, then $40 mill. The diamond is worth more than that." I tell him.
"Yes, I know the value. I apologize for this. He and another told me you were trying to keep it for yourself. Perhaps we could meet up and I pay you the proper amount?" He asked me.
"I don't do face to face meet ups." I tell him.
"What if I allowed Jack Hench's men to accompany you followed by giving you $100 million for the trouble, as well as a ride to and from the location?" He questioned me. I nearly choked from hearing that.
"I-I'm sorry, I believe my hearing is off. Did you just offer $100 million dollars?" I asked him in disbelief.
"No, you heard right. All in American cash, unmarked bills." He tells me. I took a few seconds to think, gazing at the large diamond before me, before smiling.
"Then when and where do we meet?" I asked him.
"Where would you like my jet to get you?" He asked me.
"At Hench Co., please." I say, adding the politeness to the end.
"Do you steal often?" He asked me.
"Not my cup of tea, unless it's something I'd like, has very high value to auction/trade or I'm being paid." I tell him honestly.
"That's a shame, because you're an excellent thief." He tells me.
"So I've been told. Still, what time should we meet as well as what day?" I asked him.
"How does tomorrow at noon sound? I will have my jet fly you to one of my lairs and back." He tells me.
"I accept." I tell him. He agreed and we hung up. I saw my sapphires were sold to Senor Senior Jr, which didn't surprise me much.
I sent Hench a text to let him know of my plan and that I would need to rent out his top 2 henchmen. He agreed with no hesitations while telling me the price for each one. I agreed, without negotiating, before getting some boxes. I packed up all the stuff, except the statues and The Devil's Eye, before stamping, printing the addresses to send them on stickers so no handwriting, then put them aside before laying in bed.
^I wonder what I do, now that Motor Ed might treat me differently.^ I thought before slipping off to sleep.
Motor Ed's POV
I watched her drive away, still in shock at how gorgeous she was. I mindlessly drove back to the junk yard, her words echoing in my mind over and over. Like, seriously, I'm having a rough month.
I had just gotten out of jail 2 weeks ago after Red had me arrested, my aunt bailed me out but I've been avoiding repaying her since, you know, she's just too much at times and now the ninja I've been competing with is not only a babe, as well as a genius, but is now telling me it's all just a game for her? Like, seriously? I entered the garage, completely ignoring my group as I dropped the blueprints on the ground, then flopped on my couch.
"Boss? What's wrong?" My small henchman, named Hot Harry, asked me in confusion.
"Like, just a rough month. Seriously." I say as he handed me a beer. I cracked it open before chugging it.
"Did that ninja beat you again?" He asked me.
"Naw, bro. She let me have the blueprints, saying her plans were better." I comment as the rest sat near me; one named Skinny Sal gave me the rest of the 6 pack. 5 total.
"Wait, the ninja really is a she?" Skinny Sal asked me.
"Seriously, yeah. I mean, I underestimated her when I found out she was, you know, a chick. She seriously had awesome road skills, though. Seriously. Well, she was 'toying' with me so, like, I took her hood and mask off to see her face. Ya know, I thought she was, like, a dog or something since she, ya know, like, always hid her face." I say before cracking open another one to chug.
"And?" The whole crew asked.
"She's hot!" I say as I tossed the empty can, taking a third to to crack open. The foam fizzed over the top a bit, getting my glove wet, but I didn't care.
"Seriously?!" The guys yelled in shock.
"Seriously, like, she was more than hot! She was, she was…" I said as I was trying to describe her to them, though the words weren't forming.
"A model?" One of the mild muscle guys we call Blockhead Bob questioned.
"Yeah, well no, I mean, like, hotter than that, bro." I tell him after finishing my drink, followed by a burp.
"Like a goddess?" Hot Harry questioned.
"Yeah, bro! Like a goddess! A sun goddess!" I exclaimed, finally getting the proper words out of me.
"No way. No chick is that beautiful and certainly not that smart or into motors." My other guy, Slick Dan told me.
"Bro, I wish I was lying. I never got her name, but I want to meet her again. Seriously." I say as I turned on the news. I noticed the news only covered the blueprint theft for a moment before returning to the story on the museum.
"The alarms were disabled just like at this lab, so perhaps it's the same thief. If this is true, then we're in trouble." the news reporter said. This peeked my interest.
"Boys, boot the computer. Like, now." I ordered as I placed the rest of the unopened cans down. I went over, they already had the news report up and was now scanning over them.
"Bros, I saw that Golden Haired Ninja holding a device. Seriously, I think she, like, used it to disable the alarms. Seriously." I say as the robberies seem to have the same M.O. Seriously.
"You thinks its the same broad?" Grimy Gino asked me. I then snapped my fingers, pointing a finger at him after with a stern look on my face.
"Hey, we don't call babes 'Broads', 'Dames', or anything like that. Seriously, it's offensive and another way to call them prostitutes. We call them babes, chicks and, like, anything else in the attractive category. Got it? Seriously." I scolded him.
I actually hadn't known this until I looked it up. I didn't like to refer to babes as something they weren't, especially prostitutes unless they were.
"Fine, you got it. But, uh, what if she is?" He questioned me. I smacked him upside the head, causing him to yelp.
"I doubt it, bro. She, like, hid herself as a ninja. Seriously, like, you couldn't see her figure at all! I really doubt she is one, otherwise she wouldn't be keeping her hands off of Motor Ed. Seriously." I explained while bragging. The others agreed with me, usually being my yes men, while Grimy Gino seemed off about it. Whatever. As I was thinking more on it, the alarm went off.
"Intruder!" One of them yelled as they got ready to fight.
"Eddie Lipsky!" I then heard a shrill voice, causing me to flinch before sulking.
"Oh no." I muttered in despair. My aunt found me.
"Eddie Lipsky?" Grimy Gino questioned, trying not to snicker.
"Like, cram it!" I yelled at him.
"Stand down, boys." I then add as my aunt came through the elevated entrance.
"Can't even let me in or say hello to your Auntie? No wonder you're the black sheep." Auntie said as she shamed me.
"Aw,~ Auntie. I just-" I started but she cut me off.
"Cram it!" She scolded in a loud, harsh tone. This caused me and the boys to flinch.
"Now, you need to pay me back for bailing you out! Goodness knows I promised your mother I'd help care for you after she passed! Such a saint for marrying that bum you call your father." She ranted.
See, my mom and aunt, who were best friends since they were kids, married two Lipsky brothers. My dad was called a 'bum' and such for working on cars and riding motorcycles, which is how I got my love for them. My mom was a good woman, like the ones from 1963, though my aunt was not exactly like that. She was a good woman, but was demanding and strict when needed. Much different from my mother, who just wanted me to be happy. Still, I lost my folks but became what I felt was a man. The Lipsky family always viewed me as a black sheep, due to the fact that I was just like my old man, but they said I was worse due to no restraints. Seriously, what a bummer they all were. Fun suckers.
"Auntie, I don't have the money right now. Seriously." I told her.
"Like I trust you with money. I know how you can pay me back though." She tells me.
"How?" I asked her.
"Pack your things, I'm taking you to see your cousin Drew. He's a good boy, a radio talk-show doctor who will guide you on the right path." She tells me.
"Alright! I haven't seen Drew since, like, he went to college!" I commented with joy.
I practically grew up with Drew, seeing him as a brother to me even though we were a bit different. I often wondered how he was doing. Drew was 3 years younger than me, but I still saw his graduation and such when he was done with high school. I know he's 32 now. Yes, this means I'm 35 years old.
"No cheering!" She scolded me. Seriously, she was a fun sucker. The crew tried not to laugh as I gave them a dirty look.
"Are you Eddie's friends?" She then asked the crew.
"Yeah, they're my bros." I commented.
"Hooligans like you, no doubt." She mutters. I decided to defend them.
"Naw, Auntie, they're, like, working in my shop here. Any 'crimes' I committed were on me, not them." I defended. They're my bros, what was I supposed to do? The guys jaws dropped at how I defended them.
"Oh, well in that case, do you boys want some cookies I made?" She asked as she pulled out a container. They all said yes and took some before thanking her. I went to take one, but she smacked my hand.
"Ow!" I yelped as she glared at me.
"Bad boys don't get cookies! Now, go pack." She scolds me.
"Yes, ma'am." I say in a sulky tone before packing a small bit of stuff.
When we got to the top, out in the junk yard, I found out she still had no car and had taken a bus. It took some convincing, but in the end I set up my bike with a side car, got the address then drove off. She said it was on a small type of island, but she knew a boater who could take us there easily. I ignored her as my mind went back to that golden haired ninja woman.
^I hope I see her again. Seriously.^ I thought before making it to the docks. Now to go see my cousin Drew.
Next day, Gogo's
I was in a private jet, somewhat early in the morning, sipping some expensive coffee in a nice cup. An espresso I believe it's called. See, when he said noon, he meant in Europe. Thank all evil Hench called me to let me know. I only slept a small bit before the wake up call and had no energy drinks, as well as no time to get them, so I was happy when the jet provided coffee and other expensive coffees to wake me up, as well as a couple of Falsetto's henchmen/employees to make them. I sipped the last of the espresso down before calling the stewardess over.
"Sorry, but could I get another one? Something different and stronger?" I asked her. The stewardess, coffee colored skin with black hair and hazel eyes looked shocked for a moment before giving a smile smile and a nod. She was off in a flash as I opened my laptop. I checked on my sales, having Falsetto's stuff with me that were confirmed to be on their way, confirming those sold and would be sent within 2 weeks. I was giddy to know I made over $7 million in my auctions, not counting the $100 mill I was about to get for the job I did. The only things I had left to sell were the statues, but they seemed to bring me luck so I wasn't selling them. Not yet, anyway. The stewardess handed me a new cup and saucer.
"Here you are, Miss Gogo." She says politely.
"Thank you, miss." I say with a smile, holding the saucer in my left hand while using my right to do a cheers motion with the cup to her before taking a sip.
"Mmm. This is fantastic! What is this one?" I questioned her.
"It's a French Vanilla Mocha-chinno with a hint of nutmeg." She says with a smile. I sipped again and smiled.
"This… I need to remember to ask Mr. Jones where to get that machine and all the things for this." I say before sipping again. I usually wasn't a coffee person, nor a fancy coffee person, but this was fantastic and it was full of enough caffeine to get my motor running.
"I can write down the ingredients and how to make it, though the machine Mr. Jones will have to tell you for I am unsure where he purchased it from." She tells me.
"Mm. That, would be fantastic!" I say with a smile to her. She went off as I set my drink aside to look at my computer again.
^I should contact Hench about hiring henchmen meant for cooking, shopping and such. I don't like the idea of a sidekick, but maybe I should.^ I thought as I logged into the Hench Co. Website to look at henchmen and sidekicks available for hire. I typed away, sipping that fancy drink every now and then, the stewardess giving me a second cup when that was finished, before sighing.
^Gill Moss, mutant swamp creature that can turn back to human? Um, no. Too gross. DNAmy, bioengineer, ooh~ no,~ she's a bit too wacky for me and only wants a potential partner. Hmm, Adrena Lynn? Ok, she's in training to be a better villain, but for now will be a sidekick. Oh no, afraid of heights means potential fears in other things, not a thief and a bad cook. Next! Vinny Wheeler? Oh hell no! Lawyer! Bad! Never! Nanny Maim? Hmm, nope. Don't need a nanny and she's much too strict. Frugal Lucre? Nope. The Fashionistas? Nope, never. Embarrassment ninjas? Seriously? Where do these kinds of villains come from? Fukushima, oh? A warrior from Japan? How did Hench find this guy? Recommended by Monkey Fist? Hm, then why did he not accept him? Oh well, let's read on you.^ I thought as I began reading his bio. I was licking it so far, except for three things.
1) He can't cook.
2) He knows nothing about machinery.
3) He was willing to betray a bit too easily.
I marked it as I looked into one more set. Two men known as The Knights of Rodeghan. They were more up to date with technology, not a fan of the armor but I could work around that, used to have a jet and hide out but all are gone due to being caught trying to murder a royal prince. Ok, I'm not a fan of murder, but still not too bad. Hench took them in as bodyguards and potential Henchmen once finished training. Perhaps one knows how to cook? I marked that too just as I heard a ding. I closed my computer and buckled up before finishing my drink. The stewardess was quick to take it before buckling herself in. We landed smoothly, exited smoothly and was brought to a limo.
"Miss Gogo." The man in black said to me, opening the door.
"Thank you." I say as one Henchman went in, then myself, then the other before the door closed. I only brought two henchmen with me because I only needed two. We drove for a little while before appearing in front of a manor. This was a hideout? We were let out, but I just kept staring.
"This is one of Mr. Jones' manors he uses when he wants to hold meetings or not be at his main mansion." The guard who opened the door told me.
"Ah, that makes much more sense. Thank you." I say before going up to the door. I wasn't in my normal clothes. Actually, I had used one of my old dresses and spruced it up to be fancy.
I left my hair down, though I had a black rose clip holding the left side of my hair back, the dress was thick tank top style, down to the knees, skintight and black with 3 yellow squares on it. One on each hip, with a type of 'stair' stile on the end so it looked like an upside down stair before being a square from the front, going from side to side went from 1/3rd the way to the front and ending right on the sides perfectly, then there was a square on the left breast starting at the bottom of my boob, then up to the top and ending at the same length on my back, only going from my cleavage right to my spine. Also, from top to bottom is a zipper that ends ½ an inch from the bottom, causing the bottom to be open. Next was a pair of black heels, no tights or anything of the sort, only my smooth legs. I also sported black studded earrings and one black glove on the left, one yellow on the right. (Go to www. m and find short yellow, black color black cocktail dress to know the reference.)
I was guided inside, through the hallway and a few turns in until we appeared in an office area. Falsetto, who was sitting, stood up and walked over to greet me.
"Welcome, Miss Gogo. I hope the ride was pleasant." He greeted; voice high pitch due to a helium accident. I only smiled on the outside, inside I was laughing like a lunatic.
"Good day Mr. Jones, thank you for inviting me. The ride was pleasant." I say politely to him. He, like a true gentleman, took my right hand and very lightly kissed it in respect. I let him to not offend him, though I'm not used to anyone doing this so I'm sure I had a soft blush on my cheeks.
"I'm pleased to hear that." He says with a smile. I heard growling, causing me to look down at his two rare Lithuanian Wolfhounds, slightly baring teeth and growling lightly at me. There are two things to know about these hounds.
1) they are hunting dogs and 2) they are very loyal and protective of their owners. I slowly squatted down, knees to my chest as I looked them dead in the eyes. We stared for a few seconds before they lightly whimpered, causing them too slightly back up. I stood up after, happy to show I asserted my dominance enough for them to stop.
"I'm impressed, not many people can get them to behave as such." He complimented as he did a hand motion, causing them to sit.
"Sorry to have to do so, but I do not wish to risk them attacking me." I explained before giving a soft smile.
"Of course, my apologies for not stopping them sooner. Would you care for a seat? Some coffee, perhaps?" He asked me as he gestured for me to follow him.
"Water would be better, please." I reply as I followed him. One of my henchmen pulled out a chair for me as Falsetto snapped his fingers, causing one of his men to leave then return with drinks. I gently took the wine glass filled with water, thanked the henchman, then sipped it gently.
"Mr. Jones-" I started, but he cut me off.
"Please, call me Falsetto." He says politely to me.
"Falsetto, I have heard you are an excellent thief, so why hire me to steal for you?" I questioned him. I had been curious.
"Well, after my helium accident, it has taken time for me to recover physically, so I dared not risk stealing The Devil's Eye until I was ready. But, seeing as how the opportunity was right, I decided to hire you. Mr. Hench actually recommended you personally, practically bragging about your stealth, inventions and such. I decided to see what you could do." He said before drinking some of his drink.
"Besides, if you were caught, I would be seen as having nothing to do with this." He added with a slick, slightly smug smile. I stared at him for a moment, then gave a light laugh.
"That is both mean and clever, Falsetto. Except for one flaw." I say before sipping more water.
"And that would be?" He asked me.
"I don't show myself, so I can dress as a civilian after and be able to hide better if they can catch me at all." I say with the same tone and smile he gave. He gave me a nod.
"Hence why I hired you and not some idiot." He complimented.
"Shall we continue with business?" I questioned him.
"Ah, yes. It's been a while since I've had pleasantries with someone who is not Señor Senior Sr. or his son, Señor Senior Jr., especially one who is a lady." He smoothed talked as he snapped his fingers, causing a guard to come over with a large suitcase. It was one that looked like a wheeled one for tourists.
This was actually perfect for blending in better, especially when going on and off a jet to another country. The guard opened it to show me. I pulled off an earring before pushing a button. A quick scan, red in color, showed over the money and suitcase for a second before disappearing. The earring blinked yellow three times before glowing green for 5 seconds.
"Right, it's real, unmarked and nothing hidden in it." I say happily before putting the earring back in my ear.
"Incredible. I knew you were very smart, but I did not think you were this smart." Falsetto complimented.
"Nothing personal, but I've been lied too and cheated a few times, so I've learned to not be so trusting. Even with those I constantly do jobs for, I don't trust." I tell him.
"I agree, we are villains after all. To completely trust one another is completely foolish." He tells me with a nod and smile. I snapped my fingers to one henchman, causing him to open the small suitcase. Inside was protective padding followed by The Devil's Eye Diamond in the center.
"No one can see inside nor track it. If they do manage to scan it inside, it will show clothes instead. Another invention of mine." I softly brag as he examined the diamond from afar. I motioned for the henchman to bring it forward, to which he did for Falsetto to examine better. Falsetto examined it, then picked it up before smiling.
"I'm glad you did not bring me a fake." He says as he motioned for his guard to give me the money, to which he did.
"I keep to my word unless betrayed." I tell him firmly. I then snapped my fingers at the other henchman, to which he went to Falsetto's other side to show him the items he had purchased from me inside another type of suitcase designed like the other.
"As agreed, I brought the items you already purchased." I added as I finished my water. Henchman 1 brought over my, now diamond-less, suitcase while Falsetto had his second guard took all the contents out, placing them on the desk, before my henchman came over with that case now empty.
"Ah, as the pictures and descriptions said. Clever to steal them and make more money." He complimented me.
"I got lucky, I was in there too long as is, so I blindly collected what I could on the way out." I confessed to him.
"You took a chance, yet still did well. I do hope to do business with you again very soon." He says to me as he extended his hand to me. I extended mine, expecting a handshake this time, but he took it and kissed the top like before. I felt something on my lap, causing me to look down in surprise. It was one of Falsetto's wolfhounds, resting it's head on my lap as if asking to be pet.
"It seems she likes you." He says with slight shock in his tone.
"It would seem so." I quietly agree. I gently pet her, causing her tail to wag.
"Have you ever had a dog?" He asked me.
"I've never had a pet growing up, nor do I have one now." I confessed as I gently scratched behind the hound's ear.
"Well, as you know, I breed these hounds and keep them mostly for myself." He softly bragged to me.
"I know, I've read your villain profile. I tend to with any villain, sidekick and henchman I meet or hear of." I informed him.
"A wise move, yet there is very little on you." He tells me. I looked at him, my eyebrow raised.
"You've tried to research me?" I questioned him.
"Of course, I tend to if I have to hire outside work. All I'm given is your alias, your age and skills. There are no pictures, number is requested by Hench only or given out by you. I also know all junk mail or normal stuff is sent to a P.O. box, all villain mail is sent to Hench Co., yet nothing for a real address." He tells me.
"That's because I prefer my privacy. No one knows where my hideout is, except me." I tell him truthfully. I had nothing to hide, I just didn't want to be tracked nor discovered.
"A sneaky way to play both a villain and a civilian." He complimented. I nod in agreement, never once had I stopped petting the wolfhound's head that still rested on my lap.
"Tell me, have you thought about doing more than what you're doing now?" He questioned me, causing me to raise my eyebrow once more.
"For example?" I asked him, curious as to where he was going with this.
"Becoming a sidekick, or perhaps being a silent partner?" He questioned me. I gave him a quizzical look.
"I won't be a sidekick, but a silent partner? Why do you ask?" I questioned. This was intriguing to me since I had never once been offered this role before, not even by Hench.
"Then, how would you like to work as my silent partner?" He asked me. I raised my eyebrow for a third time in less than 10 minutes from him.
"I'm not sure, I prefer to work alone most of the time." I tell him.
"You wouldn't have to do much. I would just need someone I feel I can trust enough to handle certain affairs." He tells me.
"Such as?" I asked him.
"Being paid to steal if I cannot would be the main thing." He tells me. I started thinking about it.
"If you can make a contract for me to look over, I will sign if I agree." I inform him. I mean, Falsetto is the 7th richest person in the world, why not try and make extra cash?
"That can be arranged, I presume you wish for me to email a copy to be edited before faxing Mr. Hench a copy of the final draft to sign?" He questioned me.
"Of course." I say with a nod.
"Is there anything else before we end this meeting?" I questioned him.
"I know you have two Egyptian statues. Would you be willing to sell them?" He questioned me. I lightly shook my head no.
"Even though I'm not one for ancient history, I do like these black and gold statues. I wish to keep them until I grow bored of them, which might not be for a long while." I confessed to him. Falsetto smirked and snapped his fingers, causing a henchman to swoop in quickly and place a tray on the desk. On it were two statues like mine, rare black stone with gold painted on them, except they were Anubis, the jackal headed god of the dead and Ra, the falcon headed god of the sun, order, kings and the sky.
They were beautiful.
"Where did you find these beauties?" I questioned as I examined them, using my earring to confirm they were genuine. They were.
"I had Lord Fiske retrieve them for me after he turned into a villain over a year ago." He tells me with a smile. For a fact he got Monkey Fist to cooperate was impressive since he tends to work alone.
"I'm impressed." I told him as I examined them. I had a soft spot for anything black, gold, yellow or a combo of both or all three. I mean, how could I not?
"Perhaps we can negotiate a deal?" He questioned, seemingly amused by my interest. I gave him a questioning look.
"What kind of deal?" I questioned. He only smiled at me.
1 hour later
I was lightly sweating as I took a sip of water I was offered.
"I apologize for the mess." I panted out.
"I will have it cleaned." Falsetto says to me with a small smile, taking my water from me. I used my fingers to comb through my hair as I twirled a flathead screwdriver in my left hand near my hip.
"Your security system should be running better than ever, now." I say as I marvel at my handiwork with the wiring system.
Yes, for the last hour I had changed into my catsuit and worked on upgrading his new security system. It took longer since the place was big, but it was worth it in the long run.
"I must say, I'm impressed. Though I would've thought you'd be faster." He tells me.
"Usually I am, but seeing as how this was top notch technology, a large place and the system could be sensitive, I'd rather take my time. Besides, working on something as incredible as this deserves to be caressed gently and delicately." I say, not realizing my last words could be taken the wrong way. Falsetto only smiled as I packed up the tools.
"Either way, I'm very grateful to you." He tells me.
"Paying me with the statues and telling me where you got that fancy coffee machine from is a decent payment. I usually require more, but I figured this was a good deal on both of us." I say as I slide the toolbox back into a small storage area then closed and locked the wire box up.
"Indeed. I hope we can be silent partners in the future." He tells me. I looked at him with a smile.
"Perhaps, but-" I started when I heard my phone ringing. I rushed to it, grabbed it, then answered it mid third ring.
"Go for Gogo." I say my line.
"Hey, it's Shego." I heard on the other end.
"What's up?" I asked her. I hadn't seen her since last week, when we had a lunch out together.
"I need some help." I heard her say followed by a crashing sound.
"What's going on?" I asked, my voice going into a slight panic at the thought of my sister might be under attack.
"Dr. D and his cousin stole something high-tech. It's attacking them and I can't get close enough to disable it." She tells me as I heard Drakken scream in the background, another crash, then screaming for Shego to help.
"I'm in Europe, I'll be there as fast as I can." I reply before hanging up.
"Is there an emergency?" I heard Falsetto question. I looked at him to see he seemed slightly concerned.
"Sorry, but yes. I have a family emergency." I reply to him.
"Of course. I'll have my guys pack everything up for you." He said as he snapped his fingers.
"Thank you and I'm sorry to have to rush out." I say and apologize.
"Do not fret, family is important. Where should I have my jet drop you off?" He asked me. I thought about it for a moment before giving him the coordinates. He knew where that was, asking if I was sure, before I nodded.
"Is he-" He started before I shook my head no.
"Shego's my sister." I cut him off, just so he doesn't think I'm related to Drakken in any way. The dude might be slightly smart, but he's a penny pincher and a buffoon.
"Ah, that makes more sense, especially the outfit." He says to me as he gestures my outfit.
"Is there anything wrong with it?" I asked him.
"No, it looks good. I always wondered where Shego bought them." He tells me.
"I make them. I improved the dress from earlier as well. I hate buying expensive brands, so I buy cheap brands and improve them." I tell him as I snapped my fingers. The henchmen came in with the cases and the statues. I hit a button, causing the foam to smooth out, then laid the statues in it, causing the foam to form with it, before I closed it.
"Another invention of yours?" He asked me.
"No, I stole the plans from some scientist 4 months back. I had Hench's scientist help me improve it." I say as I closed the case.
"Ah, too bad. Still, very smart to do that." He informed me. I went over to him with a smile.
"Thank you again, I hope, even if not as silent partners, we work together again in the future." I say politely. He took my hand and gently kissed it again.
"Of course, Miss Gogo. Always a pleasure." He says kindly. I blushed lightly before bending down to meet the eyes of the wolfhounds.
"I hope to see you two again." I say with a smile. The girl, whom I found out is named Queen, came over and allowed me to pet her while the boy, named King, only gave me a nod. Neither dared to hurt nor growl at me.
"It seems they both like you." Falsetto said to me. I stood up.
"Not sure why, but I think they're sweet once they stop growling and snarling." I say kindly to him with a smile.
We said our goodbyes before myself and the henchmen left. We hurried to the jet before it took off. I pulled out my phone and entered a code for my bike. My bike, at Hench Co., turned on and headed to the coordinates I punched in as I pulled out my computer and the case of money.
"Boys." I say, having them come over to me. I pulled out some cash, $40,000 in cash, before handing them each $20,000.
"This is a thank you for today. I won't be going back to Hench Co. but I will send Hench an email letting him know you two were fabulous." I tell them with a smile.
What? I might be a bad guy, but that doesn't mean I can't be kind and polite to those who've earned it.
They nodded and thanked me before sitting down. I had my laptop out quickly before emailing Hench the details, then went on to looking up the coffee maker. It was very expensive, a few thousand dollars, but I shrugged and bought it. I let Hench know that a very important package was coming for me, to which he was fine with.
"Miss Gogo, we're over the location." The lady informed me.
"Thank you. Please get me a parachute." I say as I packed my stuff up.
"Are you sure?" She questioned me.
"Yes, the jet won't fit on the island. Just let the pilot know I'm ready as well." I tell her. This was the same lady who got me my coffee by the way. She told a second stewardess, a blonde with pale skin and brown eyes, to tell the pilot what I said while this one got my parachute. Granted, I had never done this before, but I was more excited than scared. I pulled out my cell to call Shego.
"Hey, you here?" She asked me.
"Do you have a sunroof of sorts?" I asked her.
"Yeah, in the lab I'm in. Why?" She questioned me.
"Just open it. Also, open the door for my bike, please." I say to her before hanging up. I put on the parachute and went over to the back, that can be closed off, to have it automatically opened.
"Good luck!" The stewardess called out before she closed the door leading back inside. The door then opened to the outside world. I looked and saw Drakken's lair, took a deep breath, then jumped.
"Woohoo!~" I yelled out as I got closer and closer. I saw the opening, moved to get close to it and then pulled the chute. I glided inside before landing on the lab floor, chute also landing on me.
"Shego! Who is that?!" Drakken yelled.
"Relax Dr D, I called my sister for help." I heard Shego scold him as I was trying to get out from under the chute.
"Sister? Oh,~ the one who went evil and almost got away with stealing-" Drakken started but then stopped, most likely cause Shego gave him a death glare.
"Yeah, she goes by Gogo now." Shego explained as she finally helped me get out from under the chute.
"Thanks, first time I ever did that. I'd be willing to again." I say before flipping my hair over me, posing like my sister does. Hip to the side, hand on the stuck out part of the hip while my other arm rested.
"Gold Ninja Girl?" I suddenly heard.
Motor Ed's POV
Green Magic babe, Shego, said someone was coming to help us out with the wheelchair. Like, seriously? We're men, we can handle it! Well, ok, we couldn't, but I was mad! It messed up a strand of hair on my mullet. Seriously, this thing can, like, read minds. I swear.
A few minutes after she told us, she got a call. She talked a bit before hanging up. Cous wasn't paying attention as I saw Green Babe open the skylight and the door. Thats when a bike, with no driver, entered before parking itself and turning off.
"Whoa, a computerized motorbike with slim wheels and a quiet, yet powerful engine for speed!" I say then make an air guitar sound and motion before another thought went into my head. I'd seen this before.
"Seriously, I swear I've seen it before, but black with a yellow stripe." I commented.
"No. No one has one like this except Gogo." Green Babe told me.
"Gogo? Well, I know the Gold Haired Ninja I fight, and race has one similar. Seriously." I tell her. Before Green Babe can reply, someone in black and yellow came through the skylight, but was covered over by the parachute so I, like, couldn't see who it was.
"Shego! Who is that?!" Drakken yelled.
"Relax Dr D, I called my sister for help." Shego scold him as there was movement from under the chute.
"Sister? Oh,~ the one who went evil and almost got away with stealing-" Drakken started but then stopped, Green Babe was, seriously, giving him the worst death glare I'd, like, ever seen. Seriously.
"Yeah, she goes by Gogo now." Green Babe Shego explained as she helped her sister, Gogo, get out from under the chute.
"Thanks, first time I ever did that. I'd be willing to again." Gogo said before flipping her hair over her to be out of her face.
My jaw dropped at the woman in front of me. That familiar voice, that familiar hair of gold, this was, seriously, the Gold Haired Ninja I had seen yesterday! She was now posing like her sister was in front of her. Hip to the side, hand on the stuck-out part of the hip while her other arm rested.
"Gold Ninja Girl?" I gasped out, causing her to whip her head to look right at me.
Her eyes widened a bit as my eyes trailed her body. She had the same figure as her sister, seriously maybe even better, as I could now see it better compared to the ninja outfit. Her outfit, seriously, looked like her sister's as well, except yellow instead of green. It fit her well, actually. She also had black studded earrings in her ears as well as a black rose clip in her hair. She was also wearing eyeliner and lip gloss, making her look nicer than ever.
Seriously, she looked like a sun goddess while her sister looked like a moon goddess. Two matches for me made from heaven. Seriously.
Gogo's POV
I whipped my head around to see Motor Ed.
"You! Wha-but." I stuttered out before looking at Shego.
"Explain." I say as I used my left hand to point at Motor Ed.
"Yeah, believe it or not, those two are cousins." She tells me. I smacked my forehead.
"Sis,~ that was info I needed." I whined out.
"Sis? Seriously?" Motor Ed questioned.
"Yes, Gogo there is Shego's younger sister." Drakken explained.
"Shego, Motor Ed was the biker guy I told you about!" I told her.
"He's the guy you race and tease?" Shego asked in disbelief.
Such a small, small world.
If you're wondering about my stuff, it's under the chute. I then squeaked as I felt myself get dipped, looking to see Motor Ed did that.
"Bra, I've been, like, wondering if I'd see you again. Seriously, this like, must be fate. Also, your bod is HOT~ now that I can, like, see it better. Seriously." He says to me, causing my cheeks to turn red. He then looked between me and Shego.
"Ok, now I see the resemblance a bit, seriously. Two hot babes that are sisters? AAAAH YEAH!~" He said as he did an air guitar sound. I got pissed as I understood the reference he made, causing my eyes to glow yellow.
"Not. Now. Not. Ever!" I said in an angry tone.
I then used this moment to move over his arm, grab his head with my ankles, then flipped him over me, while on my hands, before letting him go. This resulted in him being thrown into the wall, headfirst.
"Ooh.~ Note to self; never upset Gogo." I heard Drakken mumble as I calmed down a bit. The glow was gona as I looked at Shego.
"Your eyes glow now?" She asked me.
"Only when I'm very angry. It doesn't give me powers, but my mind is still my power, and the eyes just scare people." I say with a shrug.
"Whoie!~ I love girls that scrap! And you got the glow too? Aah~ Yeah,~ that glowing yellow magic rocks! Seriously!" I heard Motor Ed say as he stood up, causing me to roll my eyes.
"Anyway,~ where's the device?" I asked. The boys pointed to a chair.
"A wheelchair?" I questioned before looking at Shego.
"Hey, I had nothing to do with this. Heck, even I'm not that bad." She tells me.
"It has, like, great mechanical features I need to know for our Doomvie. Seriously." Motor Ed said to me. I sighed before looking at Shego.
"Do I get anything in return? Or is this a 'family' thing?" I asked her. "Dr D, her payment." Shego called out.
"Oh no, I'm not paying her." Drakken said to her.
"I need payment, or no access." I tell him.
"Pfft, yeah right. Like, what can you do Goldilocks?" Motor Ed asked me. I shot him an evil look, eyes glowing to intensify it.
"Never call me that." I hissed out in a dark tone. Motor Ed put up his hands in defeat.
"Well, I can't call you and her babe, so how bout Gold?" He asked me. I shook my head no, eyes still glowing.
"Um, then, how 'bout Goldie?" He asked me.
"Hell no." I hissed out as the eyes glowed more. Shego was covering her mouth with one hand, most likely trying not to laugh as these were my nicknames and my actual name.
"I gotta call you something! Seriously!" He nearly whined out. This man, in his mid 30's, nearly whined like a teenager.
"Gogo. It's Gogo. Not 'babe' 'honey' 'sweetie', just Gogo." I tell him as I had calmed down a bit, making my eyes stop glowing.
"Well, I'll call you Blondie." He tells me.
"If you dare call me that, you won't have any arms for riding." I scold as I walked to the chair.
"Fine, fine, Honeydew." He says to me. I went to scold him, but then saw the chair extend two robot tentacle arms, so I backed up. Once I took 5 steps back, they retracted. This had me curious.
"I'm willing to accept anything as payment, so long as I can keep the scans from this chair." I say, curiosity getting the better of me.
"How 'bout a date, with your sister as well? A double date? Seriously." Motor Ed asked.
"How about a one-way ticket to the bottom of the ocean?" I questioned him, eyes lightly glowing. This part I could control mildly.
"Eddie, stop it! Gogo, if you can turn that thing off and scan it, you can keep the copy of the scans and, um, hold on." Drakken said before he looked through his wallet. I actually saw a tiny moth fly out.
"Does a coupon for Chinese sound good?" He asked me.
"Nope. I don't want that." I say before eying something. I handstand flipped over to the CD's, my eyes were sparkling at one particular CD.
"This." I say and turn to show them what it was. It was a copy of Colbalttica! (Metallica parody.)
"What?! Aw, hell naw! That's one of my tunes, Honeydew! Seriously!" Motor Ed scolds me.
"But it's the rare 'Slaughter 'Em All' one!~ It has my favorite song on it, too! Engine Breath, as well as Anesthesia – Yanking Teeth, Dive Through the Fire and even Kill the Lights!" I said as I named the few songs on it.
"Y-you know rock music? Seriously?" Motor Ed asked me.
"Duh, I love it! Rock, Metal, a bit of Punk, and just a small bit of Pop and Rap, but very very little. Apostle Monk (Judas Priest) Is another of my favorites, as well as AB/AD (AC/DC), SMOOCH (KISS), Energybeast (Powerwolf), and even Pistols 'N Blossoms (Guns 'N Roses) Are awesome! Oh, can't forget about Arialjones (Aerosmith)." I say as I named a few bands, counting on my fingers with the CD tapping them, my eyes viewing the right side of the ceiling as I did this. When I looked back, Motor Ed's jaw was practically on the ground.
"Bra, if you can get the scans on that chair, I'll let you have that CD and AB/AD Cd that has the live version of the song 'Whole Lotta Violet' on it." Motor Ed offered. I put down the CD.
"Done deal." I say before flipping to the chair.
Its defenses activated, but I dodged and weaved before hopping in the chair. I found the kill switch and turned it off, causing the chair to be a normal chair. I got up and took off my earring before scanning it, causing them all to look at me with interest.
"Got a computer and printer?" I asked Drakken.
"Over here." He says as he walks to it. I followed him, took out my second one, attached then together to make a cord pop out, then plugged it into the computer. I did a few high-speed clicks before the plans printed.
"Done. Now my payment." I say as I turn to Motor Ed. He gave in and gave me the CD's.
"Thanks. I say with a smile before pulling out my earrings from the computer, then put them back on me.
"You made those, huh?" Shego asked me.
"Guilty. One invention I never plan on selling. Well, except maybe to you." I tell her.
"No~ way, I wouldn't know what to do with them." She tells me.
"Distinguishes any item as real or fake, including cash, tells you if there are trackers nearby and other nifty things." I tell her.
"Does it work?" She asked me. I went over to the shoot and opened one of the cases to show my cash.
"Helped show me these were real and unmarked." I told her. Her and both boys' jaws dropped.
"I did a job and got paid, you called just as I was finishing up." I say before putting the CD's in there and closing the case.
"Who did you work for? The Señors?" She asked me.
"Falsetto Jones." I told her. She nodded.
"Whoa, you must be, like, very smart and sought after. Seriously." Motor Rd commented.
"I graduated top of my college classes, graduated with a master's in engineering, computer science and robotics in 6 months, built an entire lair no one can locate, heck I'm smarter than Kim Possible's computer nerd. You being a brilliant mechanical engineer and a sharp tactician provided me with a good challenge when it comes to stealing the same items, as well as both our need for speed to outrace one another. Shame you ruined the game before I was ready to reveal myself to you. Now, you won't take me seriously since I'm a woman." I told him, sighing with a sad tone as I explained the last bit.
"If there's nothing else sis, I'm tired and need to shower. I'm all sweaty and oily." I tell her.
"Thanks for the help." She says as we lightly hugged.
"Call me when you need me, or to just chill." I tell her with a shrug.
"Sounds good to me." She said with a smile. I collected my stuff before going to my bike.
"Gogo is now gone." I say before speeding off.
I know I'm on an island, but I put my bike on hover mode as I hit the water before speeding off. I couldn't believe Motor Ed was there. I felt somewhat flustered over it. Thing is, I'm not sure why.
Shego's POV
My sister had sped off like a bat outta hell, though I didn't blame her. When we met up last week, we talked a little about her mystery biker. She never gave me a name, only calling him Biker Dude, as she had said his vocabulary annoyed her, but his intelligence and need for speed excited her since he was 'more of a challenge' when she stole and raced off.
One thing I knew about Gogo, this whole thing was just a game for her. She liked making money, building thing and even stealing, but it was all mostly for fun. It was like she wanted to get caught by certain villains, but at the same time wanted to get away with it and taunt the good guys. I had wondered how good of a thief she was, but when Motor Ed had called her a ninja, my mind had clicked.
She was the great ninja thief that got away with many thefts, including the recent one with The Devil's Eye and other items. I had to give her props; she was good. I would ask her about the disguise later, since I would be stealing in my normal outfit unlike her. Now that they had the prints, causing Dr D to be the happiest I've ever seen him, Motor Ed took this moment to flirt.
"So, you the older one? Or, like, the younger one? Seriously, you both look great no matter what. Seriously." He tells me. I grabbed his collar, hands glowing green as I glared at him.
"Now you listen to me. I'm the older one, so no one hurts my baby sister, this includes you with your flirting and suggesting we both date you or whatever is running through your perverted mind. I don't like you, not one bit, but I also don't like you flirting with my sister even more. If I find out you've done anything to her, I'll make sure not all of you will ever be found. Got it?" I scolded him so harshly, he actually gulped.
"Right, got it. Seriously, Babe, I got it. Seriously." He tells me. I let him go before heading to the door leading further into the hideout.
"Tell me when you're done!" I call out to them before walking out.
I went into the kitchen, upset that all the henchmen were on their yearly trip, which caused me to have to cook something myself. I was thankful I could, at least, cook simple foods. I made something from some leftovers before going into the living room area. Just as I was about to turn on the TV, I noticed my phone. Curiosity got the better of me, causing me to call my baby sister to get some answers.
Gogo's POV
I was out of the shower when my phone rang.
"Go for Gogo." I answered.
"Hey, it's Shego." I heard my sister on the other end.
"Don't tell me the two idiots screwed something up?" I asked, feeling my annoyance start to bubble.
"No, they didn't. Actually, I called to talk, sister to sister." She said to me. This caught me slightly off guard. The last time we talked sister to sister was before she had left, longer than that it seemed.
"Um, yeah we can talk. Is something wrong?" I questioned her curiously, walking into my room with only my yellow towel on me.
"No, well, I have to ask. Are you that ninja that's so sneaky, no one can catch on camera and recently stole from the Midleton Museum?" She asked me.
"Yup, I am." I told her as I went to my wardrobe, looking over my right section that held all my night wear.
"Why hide it?" She asked me.
"Easier to hide in plain sight after, not to mention if Team Possible tries to get involved, they can't find me nor figure it out." I told her.
"Huh, actually smart." She tells me.
"Plus, the villains know I sell this stuff, but they don't know I steal them unless they contact me, or Hench tells me without giving them details." I explained to her. It took time to trust Hench, but he has earned enough of it from me and vice versa.
"Where did the money come from?" She asked me.
"Falsetto Jones." I told her.
"Are you crazy? He's so rich and could, probably has in fact, get away with murder!" She told me.
"Meh, he paid me more than enough and I got a bonus for doing an upgrade for him." I told him.
"Are you working for him?" She asked me.
"No, though he offered to have me as a silent partner. I don't think I will, though." I told her.
"Don't. Don't get involved, no matter how good the pay is." She tells me.
"Look, I made over $100 mill, so I'm going to take a break for the time being. I have other things I need to do." I told her as I slid on a black tank top with a gold bar on it, small enough to be above my mid-drift, as well as a pair of silk yellow panties with lace trimming. I live alone, so no biggie.
"Alright. By the way, are you eating? You look a little thinner than before." She tells me as I heard her munch on something.
"I didn't eat today, but I am eating. I have leftover Chinese today." I say as I head into the kitchen.
"Still can't cook?" She asked me.
"I'm lucky I can make a sandwich or a bowl of cereal without setting it on fire." I say, chuckling after as I microwaved my leftover white rice, chicken and eggplant with spicy garlic sauce and 2 steamed dumplings.
"When was the last time you had a homemade meal?" She asked me.
"Go Tower." I told her as I found my black metal chopsticks.
"You don't hire people to cook for you?" She questioned me.
"No, I live alone. I've been used to it due to our brothers leaving me alone more and more after you left. Besides, you know I have trust issues." I tell her as my microwave dinged.
"Are you thinking about it, though?" She asked me.
"Yeah, I am. I'm looking into either a sidekick or just a regular henchman or two that I can trust enough. I want to be able to trust them before taking them to my lair. Once they're here, I can't have them compromise my work one bit." I told her before taking a bite of my chicken. The spice was lacking, but it was still good.
"See, this is why you're the smart one of the group." She tells me.
"You're smart too, we're just different kinds of smart. We're both good fighters as well, basically equal in an odd way." I tell her.
"You always praise me, all because I understand you enough." She tells me.
"By the way, what are the boys planning?" I asked her.
"Can't really tell, especially since they hadn't really told me yet, but I bet it's either very smart or very dumb." She tells me.
"If you get tossed in jail, call Hench. Tell him to let me know and I'll get you out." I tell her.
"Thanks, I usually handle it on my own, but after Jr. kidnapped the Oh Boyz and sung for us, I'll take the bail anytime." She tells me.
"He's that bad?" I asked her.
"Worse. He sounds like a bunny being carried off by a hawk while both are being roasted alive." She tells me, causing me to choke on my food.
"Harsh!~" I whined out after managing to swallow my food. I then heard her laughing, genuinely laughing, on the other end.
"Ya know, I have to admit, I missed these sister moments." She suddenly told me.
"I do too." I told her as I grabbed a bottle of water.
"Hey, I have to go." She says to me.
"Be careful." I tell her.
"I will." She said before hanging up. I hung up and sighed before my phone rang again.
"Go for Gogo." I answer.
"It's Hench, I saw you're looking into hiring permanent help. What for?" He asked me.
"Mostly cooking as well as minor thefts, cleaning and anything else I can think of." I tell Hench.
"Well, I see you bookmarked Fukushima and The Knights of Rodeghan. Want me to do interviews on them for you and then you can see what I've documented?" He asked me.
"What do you want in return?" I asked him, knowing by now these favors are not free.
"I'm going to a fancy party and would love to have you there." He tells me. I sighed from hearing this.
"Hench, I don't like those parties." I tell him.
"Please come? There are important clients there and you could branch out more with your inventions." He tells me, hitting my weak point. I let out a sigh.
"When is it?" I asked him. I could feel his smile from over the phone, causing my eyes to roll.
"This Saturday. It's formal attire, do you have anything?" He tells me then asked. I nearly groaned, since that's in two days.
"I can make something, don't worry about it." I tell him.
"I trust you. If those interviews don't work out, I'll find someone." He tells me.
"Ok, good deal. What time do I meet you at the office?" I asked him.
"4pm latest." He tells me.
"When am I ever late?" I asked him.
"Right, sorry. See you then." He tells me before I hear a click.
I sighed and groaned. I heard a bing and looked at the text, from Hench, about the party details. I went to my computer and looked it up. It was a special party. It had food, dancing as well as auctions for special weapons for sale. There are even options to trade for parts and such. I wasn't good enough to be there, but Hench was. Hench invited me because I saw he listed a few items either I made for him to sell, or I assisted in making or obtaining the parts.
^Ah,~ that's why. I wish he had explained it better, but oh well. I agreed to it still.^ I thought as I emailed Hench details, seeing how the outfits were. He added I would get a profit on anything sold, no trades unless it's just my stuff and I could purchase anything I desired if I had the cash. I smirked at this, since these parties hold a lot of good items. I went into my closet and frowned at all the stuff I had.
^Time to get supplies and make a new outfit.^ I thought before letting out a yawn.
^But first, sleep.^ I thought before turning off most of my lights, slipped into bed and fell asleep easily.
