Invasion of New York
I

Four days passed since the Greater Germanic Reich's declaration of war against the United States. Following suit are the members of the Einhietspakt declaring war against the US. The French State, the Kingdom of England, the Reichskommissariat Norwegen, and Reichskommissariat Niederlande all declared war on the US as well. Their just cause for war, the evidence for the failed assassination against Hitler led back to the US, and the death of a German ambassador over US waters: both claims were denied by the US but it was too little too late. The United States sets itself to DEFCON 3.

Days after the declaration of war against the US, the Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe departed from Reichskomissariat Norwegen, with aid from the Kingdom of England's forces, overwhelmed the US Military Protectorate of Iceland. Taking over Iceland, the Faeroe Islands. With weak defenses in Greenland, the Kriegsmarine launch another attack, days after taking Iceland. Drawing out US naval fleet up north to intercept.

Utilizing the V-4 rockets, several US naval ships are lost to the unexpected counterstrike. In retaliation to the strikes, article 5 is enacted by the members of the Union of Free Nations, mobilizing their navies and armies against the Reich.

KMS. Deutschland

As the North Atlantic fleet of the Kriegsmarine sails towards the US, Esdeath stands at the bow of the ship taking in the salty breeze of the Atlantic. Allowing for both her hair and her officer uniform to billow in the breeze.

"I can see why Wave was right about the sea. It's totally a different feeling than flying or riding on land." Esdeath turns around, having her back face the waves. "But I certainly can't wait what challenges I would face against the US. But for now, I should just live this moment." Esdeath speaks to herself. "Hoh, what a time to be alive. Certainly, the Reich would get involved in any matter, but for the SS State too? I didn't even think they have a navy." Esdeath comments to herself. "Pray telling that Himmler and his circle don't mess with my project. Tragic I can't bring any of them with me at the moment, but they have to play catch up and I don't blame them" Esdeath turns back around. "Luckily this time I get to bring my Tatsumi with me." Esdeath continues to think to herself.

In a brief moment, two Messerschmitt ME 196 Schwertfisch fly past the KMS. Deutschland, one of several Kriegsmarine flagships in the Atlantic Fleet, on a patrol flight to scout for intervening US naval squadrons. Esdeath looks around to see multiple destroyers, cruisers, missile boats, battleships, and importantly aircraft carriers. Behind the surface ships are the auxiliary ships many carrying soldiers of the Wehrmacht and the SS of the Greater Germanic Reich. Under the waters, U-Boats patrol in front to scout and destroy US naval ships. These ships of Flottille E, of Kriegsmarine Flottille Nord, sail for New York. "I hope the Luftwaffe didn't strike New York yet. If they did then it would certainly be easier to fight with. But I love to see the US' strength after twenty long years." Esdeath speaks to herself. "Hope that the 30,000 men we've brought for this operation are sufficient. 5,000 of them are from my unit after all. Along with quarter being SS and everyone else being Heer." Esdeath continues to tell herself. She is a bit anxious about the fight but more so about the well-being of her troops. Most of their uniforms are updated and recent as 1961 but still followed the sets of the Second World War. She's proud of the Stg-58, a multi-combat rifle version of the SS-FAL used by non Waffen-SS units, adopted by the Waffen-SS in its entirety. The Heer, Luftwaffe, and Kriegsmarine end up adopting the G3 along with a variety of other weapons. Such details aren't much to worry over, especially with Esdeath.

The captain of the KMS. Deutschland and several officers walk up to Esdeath, keeping their distance from her. "Heil Hitler, SS-Gruppenführerin Partas." The captain of the KMS. Deutschland announces. Esdeath turns around and does the same.

"Heil Hitler, Kapitän zur See. How may I be of assistance?" Esdeath addresses the captain-ranked officer.

"The Kommodore wishes to speak with you." The captain responded.

"He does. Well, tell him it can wait. My fiancé and I wish to enjoy the breeze of the Atlantic. It's the first time we're sailing together." Esdeath responded, and she turns back around. Esdeath slowly begins to notice the ship slow down, the same goes with the rest of the Flottille E. She turns around "That's odd. Why is are we slowing down, Kapitän?"

"As I've said before. The Kommodore wishes to speak with you. It is an urgent matter." The captain responded.

"I'll go if you tell me what this matter is?" Esdeath asks.

"The Kommodore will tell you himself on the bridge." The captain responded.

"Alright, alright. Kapitän." Esdeath begins to walk, passing through the officers. "Tatsumi, with me," Esdeath commands Tatsumi. He begins to follow her. Following the three officers to the Bridge of the KM. Deutschland, Esdeath's presence alone makes the officers turn around.

"Heil Hitler!" The men stand at attention and salute Esdeath.

"Heil Hitler," Esdeath responded. The officers and sailors return back to their stations and posts. The captain of the KMS. Deutschland directs Esdeath to the Kommodore of Flottille E.

"It's good to finally meet you, SS-Gruppenführerin." The Kommodore opens first.

"Enough chatter and tell me what is important that warrants my presence," Esdeath asks.

"If you would look at this map I will explain." The Kommodore points to the map on the wall of the North Atlantic Ocean. "Right now, we're about four-five days from New York as planned, going at about 20 Knots."

"If I wanted an update on our destination of arrival, then I would've approached you. So tell me, what is the reason you called for me?" Esdeath asks once more.

"I was going to get to that. Per the request of the Führer that we received. Flottilles D, E, and F of Flottille Nord would be split to attack further up north." The Kommodore responded.

"And this is directly from the Führer?" Esdeath asks.

"Yes. Though Admiral Dönitz objected at first. The order was made final by the Führer." The Kommodore continues. "It's expected that you would do well in Canada, SS-Gruppenführerin. Encounter an unready force, taking them by surprise. As for the rest of the strike group, we'll be continuing for our destination of New York."

"It feels like I've heard of this plan before. A stupid one at that. Taking the enemy by surprise has never been my style, I much prefer to attack head-on. Yet if this is Hitler's orders then I can't do anything about it." Esdeath thinks to herself. "Anything else Kommodore?" Esdeath asks.

"Yes, SS- Gruppenführerin." The Kommodore gestures to Tatsumi behind Esdeath. "Him, the boy SS-Gruppenführerin." After the mention of Tatsumi, a cold aura begins to eminent from Esdeath. A wave of cold affects all except for herself and Tatsumi, the panel frames begin to experience frost. Struggling to get the right words out of his mouth, the Kommodore begins to speak once more. "As part of the updated orders, the Führer wants the boy to keep sailing for New York." The Kommodore responded. Esdeath sighs in objection but can't do anything if it's the Führer's order.

"If this is direct from the Führer then I guess I would have no objection to it." Esdeath's voice changes. Angered about Hitler going over her head to do this, but due to their rankings, she can't do much about it. "For the sake of our invasion plan, then I will lend him to you on the condition he is to return to me directly. I expect him to be returned unscathed." Esdeath tells the Kommodore.

"I appreciate your cooperation SS-Gruppenführerin." The Kommodore responded, thanking Esdeath.

"Oh, and one last thing, Kommodore. The second you lose him, I will make sure of it that you wished that you have never spoken to me. Neither you nor your family will be safe. Understand, Komm-o-dor-e." Esdeath threatens the Kommodore of Flottille E.

"I understand. I assure you, SS-Gruppenführerin Partas, that he will be in the best of care that I can offer of my rank." The Kommodore responded. Finally, Esdeath leaves the bridge and the frost has dissipated from the glass panels. The officers and sailors let out a sigh of relief after having come close to death. "Thank God that's over with. I was pushing my luck with death right there. In all seriousness though, what could the chances be that this plan works? Only time will tell." The Kommodore thinks to himself.

After two hours have passed in preparation, Esdeath speaks to Tatsumi one last time before boarding a cruiser set out forth to Canada. "Now, you be a good boy and kill as many of those Americans as you can. Listen to the Kommodore's orders. I will be proud to hear of your victories soon, okay my Tatsumi." Esdeath smiles. Tatsumi nods. Esdeath plants one more kiss on his lips before pulling herself back. "Auf Wiedersehen, my Tatsumi." Esdeath turns around and boards the next cruiser. Within a matter of hours, Esdeath and her share of the flotilla begin to depart to rendezvous with the other flotillas departing for Canada. The rest of Flottille E soon begins to sail once more, carrying now 28,000 men with 1,000 being 9th SS Panzergrenadier Eis Divison soldiers, under orders from Esdeath to protect Tatsumi. The Kommodore stands on the deck of his bridge, overlooking the setting sun.

"Kommodore, are you sure this is a wise decision to follow? Do you know of the consequences of us losing him could be?" The captain of the KMS. Deutschland asks the Kommodore.

"Yes, I do." The Kommodore responded. "As per the boy, seeing his screams for release. It's dangerous for me to say this, but the boy himself needs freedom. Perhaps even the freedom that only death could afford to grant. He needs to grow as a unit for the Reich, not for her enjoyment. Make choices to choose and not be chosen for him." The Kommodore turns around. "Now enough chatter. Have all ships set full sail to New York. Once we're in range we'll commence bombardment of our guns and V-4 rockets. Then and only then we'll deploy the Wehrmacht." The Kommodore gives his orders. "And get me the current coordinates of the Luftwaffe. If we want this to work then we'll need air superiority. Understood?"

"Yes, Sir." The captain of the KMS. Deutschland responded.

"Good, now set course for New York, full speed ahead." The Kommodore gives his orders, the ship continues to sail for its destination of New York.

As the Kriegsmarine warships continue to sail for their destinations, the major coastal cities in the US experience a form of unrest. The day the Reich declared war, the US public had become worried and began to make preparations for a potential strike. The US military had begun evacuation preparations for the civilians in the major city who are non-essential. Construction projects were halted and materials are sent to potential landing sites in order to create last-minute bunkers and shelters. Men who are not in military service are drafted to act as support in construction, medical, and evacuation. Women who volunteered are placed in the medical and nursing units to treat potential civilian and military casualties.

Kennedy and the rest of EXCOMM are regularly updated on the potential strike zones of the Reich against the US thanks to the U-2 spy plane, but come to realize that the influx of information is being reduced. It has come to their knowledge that several U-2 spy planes around the Atlantic and the Reich are being shot down by SAM rockets of the Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe yet they're beginning to pick up strange anomalies in the north of the US. Moreover, Kennedy and his officers and his advisors reel over the loss of Iceland, Greenland, and a fifth of the Northern Atlantic fleet. Several reports arrive soon to Kennedy of several ships and a few aircraft carriers being sunk in the Atlantic Ocean as the Kriegsmarine reach ever closer to their destinations.

U-boats intercept and V-4s emerge from the sea damaging several ships and sinking a couple of the US navy ships. But the Kriegsmarine, though already taking out several US and Canadian ships, still lost a few, Grand Admiral Dönitz and the rest of the Kriegsmarine High Command understand that the Kriegsmarine is smaller than the US navy, and any ships lost would be an instant loss for the Kriegsmarine.

Washington D.C. United States.

In another meeting of EXCOMM in the White House, President Kennedy speaks with his military and intelligence officers in the Oval Office on their next course of action to fight against the Reich. Seeing how Reich had already gained minor victories, Kennedy and his EXCOMM cabinet grows tense.

"Mr. President, I implore you to give the order for nuclear strikes against the Kriegsmarine. They've already struck down several US navy ships and aircraft with those damn V-4s. Give the order and halt the enemy before they reach the mainland." General LeMay implores Kennedy for a nuclear strike.

"What is the readiness of our nuclear stockpile in general? Most of the nuclear weapons we've made are primarily carried via bombers. How many are ICBM capable? Most of our current nuclear stockpile is already being replaced." Kennedy responds. "If we use our current ICBM stockpile, we could halt the Kriegsmarine advance, but how many does the Reich even have? We know it's almost 900 missiles, but what if they have a lot more ICBMs, they kept secret in Europe? No general, we will not risk cowering behind nuclear firepower for a short-term victory that will destroy the world in the long term. If we use our stockpile then would we still have a chance to celebrate? I will repeat once more, general. No nuclear weapons will be used until it is our final option or if we're struck first by one. Understand?"

"Yes, Mr. President." General LeMay responded.

"Good. Now have the military be set to DEFCON 2 and prepare for any strikes to happen." Kennedy orders. "This meeting is over for now. Good day gentlemen." Kennedy ends the meeting.

"Yes, Mr. President." General LeMay salutes as did the other members of EXCOMM. Whilst leaving through the West Wing Hall LeMay comments under his breath. "Those goddamn Kennedys are going to destroy this goddamned country before we can make any strikes."

After the military officers and intelligence, advisors left McCone stayed behind per Kennedy's request. "I remember about that task force that army colonel has put forward days prior, and I read over their profiles."

"Are there any problems Mr. Kennedy?" Director McCone asks.

"Just how much faith would you put into this batch against the Ice General of the Reich?" Kennedy asks.

"Just about as faithful as a priest is to his God, Mr. President," McCone responded. "I have no doubt of their skills when I saw them first hand. But I can assure you. Once they receive their first field mission, they will be successful and be able to turn the tide in our favor." Director McCone tells Kennedy.

"I wish that our U-2 planes weren't shot down. That way we can make an accurate assumption of where she could be, if anything, that woman may be hitting New York first." Kennedy turns to director McCone. "Relay this to the colonel leading this group. Approve their first field mission. This will be their first mission objective, capture Esdeath Partas and/or any of her associates alive. If we can capture an officer or associate that is close to her, then that would be one step closer to removing that icy thorn that will be a pain to our side. Understand director?"

"Yes, Mr. President. I will relay it at once." Director McCone responds, affirming the president's orders.

"Good, keep track of those Kriegsmarine ships in the north Atlantic with what spy planes we still have. You're dismissed, director." Kennedy dismisses McCone, salutes, and leaves the oval office.

March 21, 1963
New York City, United States of America
0500

Hours before the sun rises, reports of Luftwaffe planes have already reached Washington, not only that multiple non-nuclear ICBMs from the Reich have already begun their course from the Reich. Close military bases have begun to transport troops to the frontlines to combat an imminent attack.
Despite lacking the number of nuclear ICBMs, the Reich has a great stockpile of medium and non-nuclear ICBMs, the V-5, created under the orders of Reich Minister of Economics, and Reich Minister of Armaments and War Production: Albert Speer, and the recommendation of Reich Minister of Security, and Führer of the Wehrmacht: Hermann Göring.

Several non-nuclear ICBMs land throughout the coast of New York and New Jersey, destroying and damaging several buildings and infrastructure. The first casualties have begun to be tolled. The strike was brief but struck hard against the American forces on the ground. Many of the civilian workers have already begun to evacuate as the missiles continue to rain over the skyline, striking roads and buildings, creating obstacles for the next phase of the Reich's operation of invading the US: The landing.

After the last missile has struck the harbor and beaches, the US Armed forces mobilize quickly and hurriedly to major points of contention against the Reich, civilian workers begin work to transport away the wounded and clear roads to allow for the infantry to move. The US Air Force sets out and begins to patrol the skies.

0630

As the first US soldiers make to their set positions to face the Reich, they see the Kriegsmarine ships over the horizon. The Kriegsmarine ships begin to move in close to several beachheads of south Brooklyn and Staten Island. Overhead, two waves of Luftwaffe planes appear flying overhead. The first wave is bombers, many reach their target but have begun to be intercepted by US fighters and anti-air defenses. Several bombers are shot down but their escort fighters intercept US fighters, some even taking the chance to strafe the ground. But the second wave comes immediately after the first wave has dropped its final payload. The second wave, Fallschrimjäger. Over two thousand are dropped and begin to make their descent behind enemy lines in Manhattan and Staten Island, the Fallschrimjägers first make their attack. They hold out in mini-pockets as they are extremely spread out throughout the dense urban city. The Army deploys another division to deal with the Fallschrimjägers.

A few Kriegsmarine ships slip into the harbor, opening fire in defensive positions and any armored vehicles they can find. But as they continue their attack, several Kriegsmarine ships are hit by tanks and coastal artillery. Surrounding south and west Brooklyn, and east and south Manhattan, the Kreigsmarine establish several beachheads and begin to open fire upon the American defenses. Destroying several bunkers and trench works.

0700

In the midst of the confusion, two divisions of the US Army and a division of the US Marines have been posted throughout the beachheads and harbors of New York and New Jersey since the first missiles had struck the city. Firefights are heard throughout the city as the Fallschrimjäger despite having home territory advantage many have little to no combat experience and are thusly underprepared and overwhelmed by the attack.

"Our Father, who art be thy name. Thy Kingdom come; thy will be done. As on Earth as it is in heaven." A young Army private prays the Our Father as salvo fire lands near and around his and his comrades' position, praying and panicking gasping for air with every sentence as the salvos land and explode near their positions. This is the first fight many have been in as many haven't expected a fight to come this quickly and violently by the combined fire of the Wehrmacht. The last of the salvo's lands just before his bunker, destroying its outer works and throwing him to the ground. He is knocked to the ground violently.

"Ed! Are you alright?" Another soldier of his company checks up on the private.

"Am I, am I alive?" Private Ed asks.

"Fortunately, yes." His comrade responded.

"Everyone to positions! Ships inbound! I repeat ships inbound!" A major shouts his orders as the first wave of the Heer have begun to be sent out. "Don't fire until those Kraut bastards land!" The captain commanded.

"Attention, thirty seconds!" The pilot of a Landungboot (landing boat) tells the three squads inside the Landungsboot. Ahead of them are several Panzer Landungsboot (tank landing craft), they land on the ground and begin to open fire upon the Americans as the Americans fire back.

"We only have one order men! Take the beachheads and push those American dogs back." The Heer Hauptmann tells his men. Their Landungsboot lands and the ramp drops, they charge out but encounter heavy M60 machine gun and M16 rifle fire. Several of the Heer soldiers collapse after being shot others try to hide behind the tanks that have landed before them.

An Army and Air Force airbase in North New Jersey begin to receive radio and telegrams from New York

"Where the hell is air support? We got tanks on our beaches and we have little in the way of anti-tank assault. Where the fuck are you!" An army commander's voice is heard on the radio. The colonel of the Air Force detachment branch of the base picks up the radio.

"Helicopters and fighters have already been scrambled out just now. ETA one hour for attack aircraft. The assault helicopters have already been sent in." The colonel responded to the distress call.

"Tell them to hurry the fuck up. Because we can't hold out much longer with the Wehrmacht here in full~Ga!~" The radio ceases to function.

"Hello? Come in over." The colonel asked.

"Sir. I've lost communications with the division in Fort Tilden. Staten Island is calling for immediate air support. In Brooklyn, they're being pushed back." An Air Force major reports to the colonel.

"Dammit. Get as many of our own planes off the ground as we can. Have them target and strike Nazi ships and tanks. Let the infantry deal with those boots on the ground." The colonel orders his subordinate.

"Yes, sir." The major returns to the communications station and telegrams to nearby bases to relay the orders.

As the first wave of the Wehrmacht Heer is deployed in south Brooklyn, they come across heavy M60 and M16 rifle fire. Experiencing heavy casualties, they open fire back with their G3 rifles and MG and rifle grenades. Pushing forward to the American lines as the Americans keep firing back. Tank support begins to move forward from north Brooklyn, but the total number can't be utilized effectively since the Fallschrimjägers are holding their positions on the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, and Williamsburg Bridge. A small detachment of five M60s and several M48 Pattons remain in south Brooklyn, trying to hold back the Tiger IIs and Panzer VIs that keeps landing in South Brooklyn. In South Manhattan, the Army and Tank divisions are being pushed back by the Wehrmacht,

Despite having the initial advantage, the numbers of the Wehrmacht begin to dwindle. Suffering casualties in the Finacial District in Manhattan and stretched lines, many of the Heer begins to fall back as the US Bell UH-1 Iroquois helicopters strafe several of the Wehrmacht positions and deployed reinforcements. The Kriegsmarine fighter planes on the aircraft carriers are also being depleted in number at a fast rate that the aircraft carriers begin to sail away along with a couple of escort ships.

KMS. Deutschland
0730

Seeing the first wave suffering heavy casualties and the second wave demanding reinforcements, the Kommodore becomes a bit distraught. He had received reports that he has no more air coverage as the majority of the Kriegsmarine fighter jets had been shot down and the Luftwaffe had begun to return back to Europe with heavy losses. Without air support, the operation is good as over. He begins to receive reports of other flotillas being successful but the Flotilla striking Norfolk has already been routed by the US Navy and saw many of the troop carrier ships sunk. Even reports of the Pacific fleet having broken through the Bahamas begin to send shivers down his spine. Reports of several ships already being hit and having to abandon position and Wehrmacht Heer soldiers retreating back to their ships to escape the helicopter assault begins to worry him.

"If I don't do something now then this battle is good as over. We're slowly losing hold of Manhattan but we still have Brooklyn on hold. Those damned Americans are still holding despite losing the beachhead. I don't doubt that they will begin to push forward once more and I don't want that to happen." The Kommodore talks to himself. He turns to the captain of the KMS. Deutschland. "Get me the boy the SS Gruppenführerin had lent to us and report to the port bow with him. Now!" He orders. The captain of the ship leaves the bridge of the ship to find Tatsumi. The Kommodore then turns to the radio officer. "How far inland are the Heer?" The Kommodore asks.

"Roughly about three kilometers inland sir. But the forces that have taken Fort Tilden reported heavy aircraft fire from the American fighters. The forces that have taken the beachhead in south Brooklyn are calling for more reinforcements. The Americans are spearheading from the northeast." The Funker officer reports.

"This isn't good. Send in the final wave of the SS 9th Panzergrenadiers. Tell them to hold that beachhead at all costs. Evacuate any wounded from the battlefield and bring them back to the ships." The Kommodore orders the Funker

"Yes, sir." The Funker officer responded. The Kommodore then turns to the battery officer.

"Have the ships cannons fire at three- and four-kilometer range. Fire one salvo round. Keep those Americans at bay until the SS lands." The Kommodore orders the Kapitänleutnant.

"Are you sure? That's wise Kommodore? You'll also be hitting some of our men too." The Kapitänleutnant reports to the Kommodore, questioning the order.

"Just give the order dammit. I don't wish to see these men fall back just as we land our final wave. If anything, this is perhaps that woman wants." The Kommodore orders the Kapitänleutnant.

In Esdeath's accommodations inside the KMS. Deutschland Tatsumi sits on Esdeath's bed, looking at a reflection of himself. A reflection of a blank and empty expression "I will be proud of your victory, okay my Tatsumi." Esdeath's words dance through his head. "Esdeath. Proud of me?" Tatsumi mutters to himself. A knock on his door is made and the opens.

"You're to follow me and report to the Kommodore. Understand?" The captain of the KMS. Deutschland orders Tatsumi. Tatsumi stands and begins to follow the captain. After a brief couple of minutes. The captain brings Tatsumi to the port bow. The ship jerks as a salvo round is fired from the KMS Deutschland and surrounding ships. "Christ another salvo round? If we keep this up we'll have no more rounds to fight against the US navy. No less those US fighter jets being harassing us every damn second." The captain comments. The two make it to the port side bow to see the Kommodore standing. He turns to see the two.

"Thank God you're here." He turns back to the action. "You see that boy. The final wave, with your SS soldiers. The Wehrmacht forces are currently being pushed back, but I think you can turn the tide in our favor." The Kommodore turns to Tatsumi once more. "I do not know what is your extended use here with that sword. But here are your orders: Join with your SS brothers and put those Americans to route. Destroy any pockets of resistance that you come across and slaughter as many of those Americans as you can possibly can. Create a funnel that will wedge into their lines. Is that understood boy?" The Kommodore orders Tatsumi. Tatsumi simply nods. "Good. Now do what you can."

Tatsumi turns to the battlefield and sees the last of the Landungsboot has already departed. Tatsumi unsheathes his Imperial Arms: Incursio. The officers around him take a few steps back. Tatsumi then stabs the deck of the ship and takes in a deep breath. "INCURSIO!" Tatsumi shouts out the name of the Tyrant residing inside the Imperial Arms. A heavy gust of wind develops around Tatsumi, lightning emits from Tatsumi's Imperial Arms. The boat rocks heavily with the two officers grabbing hold of their caps and the railings. The rocking dies down as so is the wind that surrounded Tatsumi, revealing the suit of armor of his Imperial Arms.

"So that is the power of his sword, isn't it? Honestly, if that woman has more up her sleeve then we won't be in this mess right now." The Kommodore thinks to himself. Tatsumi, with a great leap, lunges forward to the battlefield, ahead of the ships.

On the rooftop of a six-story building, in the center of Brooklyn near the battlefield, a man with a dark green beret looks through his binoculars. "So, that is our target then huh? Looks to be difficult if you ask me. But luckily, we got another just like that here." The man comments to himself. He turns to the five people on his right, wearing dark green overcoats with hoods over their wear. "You know what to do next. Get the target and pull out. Got it?"

"Yes, sir." The five responded.

"Good. Now go." Four of them leap off the rooftop and land on another below. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop. "You know what's your mission?"

"I do." The fifth one responded with a feminine tone. "Though I don't like it. It would be enough to get him back to his senses."

The infantry pushes back the Wehrmacht Heer to the beaches once more, holding down Neptune Ave. To their shock, a final wave appears just before them. "Keep pushing men. Drive these Kraut bastards back to shore!" A company Major commands.

"Major look out!" Private Ed cries out. Within a mere second, the major is crushed and killed, and dust and debris are kicked around. "Wha-what the fuck is that thing?"

"I don't know but shoot him!" The men begin to open fire at Tatsumi but see that their bullets are doing very little in the way of any damage. Tatsumi then opens up by throwing his spear at one of the Army men.

"ED!" Another soldier cries out seeing his comrade being killed in front of him. Tatsumi recovers his spear and sees the soldiers charging at him. In one fell swipe, he slices every single one in the chest or stomach area, killing them. He looks up and sees that the SS have already begun their attack and already begun to push up towards the beachhead.

Tatsumi turns around and faces forward. He sees another squad of US soldiers of the Army and Marines pushing forward, but they begin to slowly retreat in fear of him.

"Was ist los? Kampf mich!" (What's the matter? Fight me!) Tatsumi cries out in German, demanding a fight. In a quick reaction, Tatsumi holds out his spear in front of him as a strong beam of light strikes him. He is pushed back by the beam but still holds his ground. "What was that? It's like I've felt this before." Tatsumi thinks to himself.

"Grand Chariot!" A cry from the heavens is called out. Tatsumi looks above and jumps out of the way just as another figure, just like him but in blue, crashes down onto the earth. Dust is spun around him. The blue figure lunges forward and punches Tatsumi in the chest. The soldiers on the ground on both sides are confused but they steel their resolve as they continue to push forward, leaving Tatsumi alone with the Blue Figure. "Hey, Tatsumi. Do you remember me?" The blue figure asks. Tatsumi recomposes himself.

"Nein," (No) Tatsumi first responds in German. "But you'll be my challenger then," Tatsumi responds back in English.

"Well, I guess I would have to simply beat it back into you then." The Blue Figure responds back to Tatsumi's challenge.

Instead of being one chapter, I think it might be good to separate it into two. Seeing a bit more from Tatsumi's perspective and that of other characters.
