After having to crawl a bit, everyone was outside, and were sharing stories with each other.
"See, the Skylanders are the protectors of Skylands," said Spyro, "And we protect it from the forces of evil, mainly, Kaos."
"You said that before," said Pyrrha, "Who is he?"
"A Dark Portal Master. We have a good Portal Master ourselves called Master Eon, and he, along with us, protect the Core of Light, which repels the forces of darkness. And one time, Kaos destroyed it."
Trigger Happy pulled out a picture of Kaos' giant head, and everyone was a bit intimidated by it.
"Don't worry," said Trig, "That's just a halo gram head. This is what he actually looks like."
Trig then pulled out another picture showing the real Kaos, and everyone had to laugh, even the very serious ones and the professors.
"One time, he destroyed the Core of Light, and us Skylanders were banished to another world called Earth, home to the next generation of Portal Masters. They helped send us home, and we rebuilt the core of light. After a battle against Kaos, we banished the creep to Earth just like he did to us. But, he found his way back. After that, he has tried plan after plan to rule Skylands, but his Ego keeps getting in the way."
"Well, that sounds like a real bad guy trait," said Nora.
"Us Giants were the first Skylanders from long ago," said Tree Rex, "Back when a time Skylands was ruled by an empire of robots known as the Arkeyans. We even have some Skylanders with Arkeyan origins, but those are other stories to tell. Anyway, we took down the Robot King by removing the Iron Fist of Arkus, and the whole race fell silent for 10,000 years. But after that, we were banished ourselves by the fist, and were brought back just in time to help stop Kaos from getting the Iron Fist and ruling all of Arkus."
"Wow," said Ruby, "That sounds incredible."
"As for us," said Wash Buckler, "We're known as the Swap Force. Wanna see why?"
"Why?" asked Goodwitch.
"Watch this!" said Wash Buckler, as he and Blast Zone charged each other, and just when they clashed, they switched top halves becoming Blast Buckler and Wash Zone respectively.
Blast Buckler then climbed up a pillar, and cried, "BOMBS AWAY!"
He fired his bombs at a cliff.
The Remnant Natives looked in awe.
"THAT WAS AWESOME!" said Ruby.
"That is nothing," said Night Shift, "Watch me swap with Stink Bomb."
"Why would you wanna stink?" asked Weiss.
"Oh, there are many reasons to stink, young lady," said Night Shit, swapping to become Night Bomb.
"FIRST COMES THE MIST!"
He farted a stink cloud, and said, "AND THEN COMES THE FISTS!"
He unleashed a fury of punches, accidentally hitting Jaune as well.
"Whoops," said Night Bomb, "Sorry my friend."
"How did you gain that ability?" asked Ren.
"We defend the Cloudbreak Islands, home to a magic volcano, where four ancient beings combine their powers to replenish all the magic in Skylands."
"But Magic doesn't exist," said Weiss.
"It does in our world," said Spyro, proudly stating he was of the Magic Element after that.
"Anyway," said Blast Zone, "As usual, there was trouble. It was the 120 years ago that the ancients were attacked by forces of the darkness. We defended the volcano, but were trapped when the eruption happened. It was there, the energy gave us the ability to switch halves with each other, making us the Swap Force."
"Man, sounds very adventurous," said Ren.
"It wasn't always so peaceful," said Snap Shot, "At one point, Skylands was under the rule of a group of villains known as the Doom Raiders, lead by the Golden Queen. Together, the Doom Raiders plundered and pillaged until nowhere was safe from their grasp."
"What happened?" asked Ruby.
"A team of Skylanders, wielding legendary weapons, came to bring these evil doers to justice. That was us, the Trap Team. After a great battle, we took the Doom Raiders to Cloud Cracker Prison. There, they were trapped behind walls of pure Traptanium, and unable to escape."
The Trap Masters pulled out their weapons, as Wild Fire explained, "Traptanium is the strongest element in the universe. It can be used as a power source, or even weapons like ours."
"That's almost like our Dust," said Blake.
"What's Dust?" asked
"Well, man was born from dust here," said Weiss, "Man was given the gifts of intelligence, creation, destruction, and choice. But there was a horrible threat to man: The Creatures of Grimm. The Grimm are soulless beings hell-bent on destroying anything and anyone without a second thought. So man rose up to protect the world from the Grimm. We even found a substance that could help us defend ourselves from the Grimm. And Academies like this train Humans and Faunus to be Huntsmen and Huntresses to fight the Grimm."
"Wow," said Wallop, "High stakes."
"Never gets boring," said Yang.
"Say, what's a... Foon-us?" asked Gill Grunt.
"Faunus," said Glynda, "They are a group of people with animal traits."
"Like what?" asked Magna Charge.
Blake then removed her bow, showing her cat ears.
"I mentioned the White Fang earlier," said Glynda, "They are a group of disgruntled Faunus who are terrorists."
"The White Fang is not all bad," said Blake, "They just feel like they're doing what they think is right. As a former member, I really wanted to help my race. After the previous leader stood down and another took his place, it started to become violent. So, I left and decided to use my skills as a Huntress."
"That is very brave of you Blake," said Tree Rex, "Not many are able to face their demons like that."
Blake smiled, and put her bow back on.
"So, if people like that are treated to such cruelty, why aren't we locked up in some zoo or a science lab?" asked Gear Shift.
"What we're trying to say is, that you were hurt and mean no harm to us," said Ozpin.
"Well, I hate to break up the moment, but do you guys have anything to eat?" asked Trig.
"What do you eat?" asked Glynda.
"Oh, pizza, pies, hot dogs, pretzels, any type of food you got," said Wallop.
"We even have an appetite for food as well," said Bouncer, "Now before you ask, I know we're robots."
"Good, I'll tell the chefs to bring you breakfast," said Glynda.
As she left, Freeze Blade noticed the students had some weapons, and asked, "Hey, you guys got some cool looking equipment. That for the fight?"
"Yeah," said Yang, "Wanna see them after eating?"
"Why not?" asked Spyro.
"I can set up an area to show you the weapons of the students," said Ozpin.
As the others headed to check over their weapons, Ruby asked, "Weiss, why did you seem to accept the Skylanders so easily when it took you two months to accept me as leader and Blake as a Faunus?"
Weiss looked away in shame of her past actions, and said, "Well, I realized I behaved just a poorly as my father has, and I want to improve on my behavior. The Skylanders seem trustworthy, and I want to give them a chance, and not create a division."
Weiss then smiled, and said, "I suppose, this could be a good start."
Everyone smiled at their teammate, and finished checking over their weapons.
