There was very little chance that the fight against Torchwick would go unnoticed, and they didn't go unnoticed.
"Figured we'd be spotted sooner or later," said Spyro meeting with Ozpin and Goodwitch.
"Well, are you sure you wish to reveal yourselves to the world?" asked Ozpin.
"Yes, we all discussed it, and have decided to make our presence known."
"Very well," said Goodwitch, "But know, there are some people who might not take your presence well."
"We've delt with worse. Besides, if anyone does try anything, we'll just mess with them. Not harm them."
Later that afternoon...
Ozpin was nervous about revealing the Skylanders to the world to be honest. He knew the Faunus was having some trouble still, and he didn't know how the Skylanders would be tolerated.
News Anchor Lisa Lavender was getting ready, and the cameraman had set up the equipment.
"Are we good?" asked Lisa.
The cameraman nodded and said, "Yes, we are live in 5... 4... 3..."
He fingered the last two numbers, and the camera's light turned on with a red glow.
"Hello, I am Lisa Lavender, and tonight, we are live here at Beacon Academy with Professor Ozpin."
"Thank you Miss Lavender," said Ozpin, "It's a pleasure to have you here."
"Now, Professor, we would like to ask you some questions about recent events."
"I will do my best to give through answers Miss Lavender."
"Thank you Professor. First off, we were wondering if the the dark smoke that many viewers have noticed this afternoon and have wondered if it was linked to the meteors that hit last night?"
"In some way, yes."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, there was an attempted robbery by Roman Torchwick just before the smoke appeared."
"Oh my, Roman Torchwick?"
"Yes. But it was thanks to some students, and new allies who stopped him."
"New allies? Do you mean the headmasters of the other academies?"
"No," said a voice, "he means me and my friends."
Lisa turned and her eyes met something she'd thought she'd never see.
"OH MY GOD, IS THAT A DRAGON!?" exclaimed Lisa, standing on her chair.
"Is, something wrong?" asked Spyro.
"Miss. Lavender, please," said Ozpin, "He means no harm to you or anyone else."
"Make that, 'almost anyone else'," said Spyro, "The bad guys are on my list."
"Noted," said Ozpin.
"Excuse me," said Lisa, cautiously getting back down in her chair, "Who and what are you?"
"Well, Miss. Lavender was it?" asked Spyro, "My name is Spyro. I'm the leader of the Skylanders. We come from a magnificent world known as Skylands."
"So... you're aliens?"
Spyro shrugged, "I guess in a way. Skylands does have some humans, but they are rather rare compared to the other residents of Skylands."
"How did you get here?" asked Lisa, finally getting confidence back.
As Spyro explained all that had happened, and where they came from, the rest of the Skylanders came out and introduced themselves, and showed off some of their abilities.
"Okay, one more question: do you mean us any harm?" asked Lisa.
Spyro then looked to her and said with a serious tone, "Unless they harm us, we won't harm you. We are heroes from our home, and we promise to uphold the honor here and on any planet."
"But you may be targeted by anti-faunus groups," said Lisa.
"They have those!?" exclaimed Snap Shot, "Alright, lookie here folks, so what if someone is different than you! You don't need to pick on them because of that! We are all made differently. But that's what makes us unique. It's very wrong to pick on someone just because they have extra ears, or another limb, or even a tail! If you beat someone up because they are different, then you're no better than those Grimm you fear."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Well said Snap Shot," said Blast Zone.
"What of the White Fang?" asked Lisa.
"What of them?" asked Gill Grunt, "The only way I could see them attacking us is if they worked with that Roman Candlestick."
"Hey, fish brains," said Ninjini, "Didn't you hear, some White Fang groups are working with Roman."
Gill then said, "I knew that. But, anyway, we know how to fight, and we will help defend this world, no matter what happens."
"We've been in tight situations before," said Spyro, "This is no different."
"Very well. This is Lisa Lavender reporting live from Beacon Academy. Back to you Cyril."
In Team RWBY's dorm, Team RWBY and JNPR were watching the broadcast.
"We should do something special for them," said Yang.
"Like what?" asked Jaune.
"Maybe we could show them the kingdom tomorrow?" asked Ruby.
Everyone agreed, and spoke with the Skylanders to see if they would like to go.
They said yes, and decided to rest up for tomorrow.
