Streets of Vale
It was a lovely day in Vale, and Team RWBY, JNPR, and some of the Skylanders were enjoying it.
Trigger Happy wanted to go to Beacon's Shooting Range, firing at all the targets, and hitting every single one.
The Swap Force and Trap Masters was training in the battle arena, much to the excitement of the students, with the Swap Force showing off their swapping ability.
Stealth Elf and Ninjini were meditating, trying to contact Master Eon in Skylands.
Spyro, Gill Grunt, Tree Rex and Bouncer walked(or in Bouncer's case, rolled) with Team RWBY and JNPR, and the latter two noticed some things.
"Is it me, or are people being nicer to Faunus?" asked Blake, after seeing the door held open for some Faunus.
"No it's not you Blake," said Ren, "I see a lot of wet paint over what used to be 'No Faunus Allowed' signs."
"It also seems more Faunus are revealing themselves," said Pyrrha, "I'm seeing more animal ears and less hats."
"Man this is so cool!" said Ruby, "I love being a part of history! Why couldn't you guys come sooner?"
"Snap Shot's speech really changed everything," said Gill Grunt, picking up a newspaper, "'New Strange Arrivals Help Change Vale Forever' according to the headlines."
Soon, the group all headed into a restaurant that was newly opened, around the same time Team RWBY and JNPR's Initiation.
"Not a bad joint," said Spyro.
"Yeah," said Tree Rex.
"I"m still trying to figure out how you Giants fit thorough regular doors," said Weiss.
Before anyone said anything, a man in his mid forties came up to them, dressed in an outfit that made him look like he was in charge.
"Hello there," he said, "You must be the Skylanders. I'm Jacob, owner of this restaurant."
"Nice to meet you," said Spyro.
"You as well. It was about time someone did something about the racism here. I have nothing against the Faunus. They're just people like us."
Just then, a tall employee came up, and said, "Boss, we got another racist. Same one from last time too."
"You know what to do Gerald."
Gerald nodded, and walked over to the racist(which was Beacon Student Cardin Winchester) and threw him out of the restaurant.
"I hate these Anti-Faunus extremists, always thinking they're better than everyone else."
"If any of them attack us," said Gill Grunt, "The worst they're gonna get is a nap from unconsciousness."
Soon, the teams were sat down, and they chatted amongst each other.
"So, how hard is it to get into Beacon?" asked Bouncer, "as a student."
"Well, if your papers are accepted, you are able to go through initiation," said Weiss, "And if you get through the Emerald Forest alive and with a Relic, you are made part of a team, and officially a student."
"Are the other academies like that?" asked Spyro.
"Yeah," said Ren, "Pretty much."
"So, anyone can enter the academies?" asked Tree Rex.
"Yeah," said Ruby, "A Huntress is meant to protect others, no matter what."
"Sounds a lot like the Skylander's oath too," said Bouncer.
As everyone finished, they were heading back to Beacon, when they saw some dark clouds in the sky.
"What is that?" asked Nora.
"I don't know," said Ruby, "But it looks like it might storm over Beacon."
They arrived back, and the Skylanders all looked up at the storm, and felt something familiar about this.
"Get Ozpin and Goodwitch," said Spyro.
Team RWBY hurried off, and came back with the Professors.
"What is going on?" asked Ozpin, "Why are there only clouds above Beacon?"
"Only above Beacon?"
The Skylanders looked around to see that it indeed was just over the academy. Out across the borders, it was bright daylight.
"Oh no," said Spyro.
"HA HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" laughed a familiar voice.
"What's going on!?" asked a passing student.
"HELLO AGAIN, SKYLOSERS!"
Soon, the whole academy body was outside, and looked up, to see a platform lowering to reveal an unknown person to the Remnant Natives, but to the Skylanders, he was a hated enemy.
"Who is this Spyro?" asked Ruby.
Spyro replied with much venom in his voice and one word:
"Kaos."
