After the teams headed off on their missions, Ozpin, Goodwitch, Ironwood, and the Skylanders gathered to meet Spitfire.
"See," said Spitfire, "If something were to happen to the portals, Master Eon created a team of Skylanders that he dubbed, the Super Chargers. See, these Skylanders have special super charged vehicles, all powered by the incredible rift engines."
Spitfire then opened the hood of his vehicle, and revealed a golden motor that pulsed with electricity.
"In the past, before the existence of Portals, the Rift Engines were created by the benevolent Ancients to explore countless worlds of the universe in order for them to spread the light and magic of Skylands. The use of the Engines created networks that helped link other worlds to Skylands; however, during their haste, the Ancients created the Dark Rift Engine and inadvertently released the Darkness, who proceeded to wreck havoc across Skylands with legions of evil."
"Incredible," said Ironwood, "Could perhaps Atlas have one of these?"
"You'd have to speak with Master Eon," said Spitfire, "He currently is only trusting the Super Charger Skylanders with these things."
"I see," said Ironwood, "I will respect your wishes then."
Spyro was in thought, and asked, "Hey guys, you remember accessing your dark forms when you were corrupted with Darkness too?"
"Yeah," said Stealth, "Why?"
"Well, I talked with Ruby earlier, and-"
"Absolutely not!" said Goodwitch, "I've seen what it can do, and I will not have one of them running rampant around here!"
"Yet, I'm infected with the darkness, and I'm still here," said Knightmare.
Goodwitch then looked at Knightmare, and tried to come up with a counter argument, but couldn't.
Ironwood then pulled out his pistol, and Knightmare got her sword out, with the Skylanders preparing to attack.
"Put it down," said Jet-Vac.
"Pull it, I dare you," said Knightmare.
"Don't encourage him," said Bouncer.
"James," said Ozpin, "They know what they are doing."
Ironwood cautiously put his gun back in his holster, but his hand never left it.
"I will talk with Ms Rose when she get back," said Ozpin.
The next morning, Spyro got a call on his scroll, and saw it was from Ruby.
He quickly got the others up, and yelled, "SKYLANDERS! WE HAVE A SITUATION! THE GRIMM HAVE INVADED VALE! WE NEED TO HURRY! Don't worry Ruby, we'll be... there are others?"
Just then, some pictures were sent, showing some Skylanders.
The first one was what looked like an astronaut, shooting lasers in a crystal jet, and was pure white.
The second was a bird in pilot outfit, flying in a jet, which was streamlined, and was shooting feather like darts.
The third was just an eye ball in an atmospheric dive suit.
Along with them, was a purple dragon with a beak like mouth, and a spear on the end of her tail, a giant with a large eye ball with bat wings for a head, a golem with a hammer along with a shark with arms and legs that seemed to dig through the Earth!
"Eye-Brawl, Crusher, Cynder and Terrafin are there? Never mind, we need to get to Vale, now!"
Ruby used Crescent Rose to spin and kick the Grimm.
Weiss was using her Glyphs to launch herself at the Grimm, and power up projectiles that the Skylanders used.
Blake slashed through, and she got cover from the Skylanders above.
Yang and Terrafin were duking it out with the Grimm, and enjoying themselves.
Just then, fire appeared, and Spyro came and rammed into the Grimm.
Gill Grunt came, and he helped protect civilians, and Trigger Happy helped him out.
Stealth Elf sneaked up behind Grimm, and finished their existence.
Pop Fizz drunk his sodas, and transformed, and destroyed the Grimm.
Eruptor launched fire balls and barfed lava all over, melting them down.
Jet-Vac flew up, and blasted Grimm out of the sky.
Slobbertooth was slamming his tail down, and head butting the Grimm. He even swallowed some tiny ones. "So delicious. Can I have some more?" One growled, and Sloobertooth grinned.
Roller Brawl rolled around, slashing with her blades, and speeding through with a wind shield.
Food Fight was shooting Tomatoes into the mouths of Grimm, and sometimes yelling, "TOMATO PASTE, IN YOUR FACE!"
Tree Rex, Bouncer, Ninjini, and Swarm smashed some of the smaller Grimm, and managed to wrestle some Death Stalkers and take Nevermores down.
The Swap Force switched with each other, and they all managed to take to the skies, and land with no effort.
The Trap Team used their weapons at close and far range to deal with any Grimm trying to get away.
Team JNPR then came, and Nora helped Wallop with her hammer. Ren helped slice and shoot with Snap Shot. Pyrrha then came and skewered many Grimm with her spear. Jaune was slicing and dicing while yelling. He opened his eyes and saw the Ursa he slashed and split into 16 pieces.
Sun and Neptune appeared on the scene.
"Nobody move!" cried Sun, "Junior Detectives!"
"We've even got badges to prove it," said Neptune, as he and Sun held them their badges.
Just then, the Atlas military came and started shooting the Grimm and the Ateslain knights were protecting civilians. Emerald and Mercury came to help out clearing out the Grimm to keep a low profile.
Then, a mech suit came up from the hole, and Zwei, Ruby and Yang's dog, jumped up and pounded down on a Beowulf. Doctor Oobleck then came out of the mech, Team CFVY came in on an airship with Professor Port and jumped into action.
Yatsuhashi took out his sword and smacked the ground and the Grimm were pierced with stone. Fox and Velvet came and kicked two Beowulves and Ursa down.
"Nice hustle Fox," said Coco as she smacked Fox's butt. She walked up to a Beowolf and said, "You just destroyed my favorite clothing store."
She then spat on the ground and continued, "Prepare to die."
The Beowolf then raised a claw and Coco smacked it with her briefcase, which made the Beowulf crash into a group of Boarbatusk. Velvet was about to activate her weapon, but Coco stopped her.
"You spent all semester working on that," she said, "Don't waste it here."
She then transformed her briefcase into a mini-gun and mowed down the Grimm.
Trigger Happy then tackled Coco, and yelled, "I WANNA GO WITH THAT THING! LET ME SHOOT IT!"
The two teachers stood side by side and shot the Grimm into oblivion. Soon Glynda came and covered the hole with her semblance like it never existed.
Just then, the clouds started to darken, and Atlas airships were struck out of the sky, and crashing down, as a familiar figure appeared in the clouds.
"Hang on," said Pop Fizz, "Is that Kaos!?"
"No," said Spyro, "It's his mom!"
"The mother, of all evil," said Night Shift.
"Who brings there mom?" asked Wash Buckler.
The hood came off, revealing Kaossandra, and she said, "Well done Skylanders, on foiling a ridiculously over thought plan by Salem. But know, this is far from over! And, I think I have someone in mind to help us."
Just then, Ruby disappeared.
"RUBY!" cried Yang, "YOU! BRING MY BABY SISTER BACK RIGHT NOW!"
With the villains...
Ruby appeared in front of them, and she was tied up with anti aura straps.
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" laughed Kaos.
"I don't think so," said Kaossandra, grabbing Ruby, "If you want her, you're gonna have to come and get her."
Kaossandra then shocked Ruby with darkness, making her turn to the darkness once more.
"Have fun," said Kaossandra, cutting the link off.
"Oh no!" said Yang.
Meanwhile...
On the outskirts of Vale...
A man with graying black, spiky hair, faded red eyes, and slight stubble along his jawline. Along with a red, tattered cloak, he wore a gray dress shirt with a long tail, black dress pants and black dress shoes.
"Alright Oz," said the man, "I got the info, and let's hope you're ready."
He then jumped off the cliff, and a crow took his place.
As he flew, he saw Kaossandra and Ruby, and what happened to Ruby.
RUBY! he thought.
