But in any case. I hope what I've added for this chapter will satisfy. As you can tell. I consider Noctis to be a variant to Riku and with a hint of Roxas. While Lunafreya is an inspired variant of Namine. The fact that they're mystical cosmic types that have special abilities that aren't combat oriented.

So before we resume. Let's answer some comments.
MavXMel: I appreciate your support and for you to be considerate while asking. But I sadly am gonna have to say 'no' to visiting the world of the Candyman. It's not that I am uncomfortable. But it's not a Disney or a Square Enix license. The only reason I even included so many cartoon cameos in my last chapter in TPATM Vol 2 chapter is only because movies like the Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers film and Who Framed Roger Rabbit made it possible for me to do so. So unless the Candyman world cameo physically in a Disney owned universe. I can't. Besides, I doubt Daniel Robitaille would be much of a challenge for someone like Connor who can flood an entire city block. That and the Maverick slays dark threats like spirits. 😅
RustyPete12: Oh trust me. Even though the last chapter may have seen too victorious. It's about to get challenging later on. Also this chapter should shed some light on Ultima. And what Attuma's intentions are. Thank you for your support as always. 👍

Somthing's Rotten In The Big Apple.
Somewhere in Latveria...
The heroes of this world had managed to beat the trap set by Ardyn Izunia. Thanks to the unexpected or rather expected help of the Maverick. And as the Maverick had reunited with his old friend to deal with a large squad of Heartless outside of town. Penance was chasing down the one foe he had long to settle a long painful score with.
Nitro was on the round across the ruins of Castle Doom. Using his explosive burst leaps. Her kept jumping across ruins and gaps. And as he ran. He called in Ardyn in his earpiece.
"I'm gonna need that favor you offered. Can you send me to the target location?" Nitro asked as he kept running.
*"indubitably."* Ardyn Izunia answered.
Then suddenly in a flash of darkness. Nitro vanished immediately. On top of the ruins of Doctor Doom's throne room.
Just then. Penance landed and growled as he looked around for his life long enemy. The same enemy that robbed him of what was left of his childhood and self worth. He used his energy blasts to shoot a bunch of rubles to see if Nitro was hiding. He kinetically shot a bunch in random locations everywhere in a frantic act of desperation to finally end his life.
Until Penance gave up.
The one enemy he could find peace in defeat has escaped.
"RUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Penance let out a blood curdling angry scream that echoed the ruins.
Firestar flew in and landed behind him. She looked completely heartbroken for the man she loves. And she couldn't say a thing. Because Penance never accepts comfort. Especially for moments like this.
Meanwhile back at the Mav Club...
At the lounging wing of Maverick's secret lair. Connor told Donald and Goofy about everything that happened in Latveria. About the Sea Slayer giving up his hunt and believing Connor about his past. Despite having no memories he knew Connor was right. So if anything, Connor got only half of his best friend back. But as far as his concern, half of Noctis is better than none of him. And if he had to. Connor would be happy to start all over with his best friend.
Thankfully Connor saved telling them the part about the ninth shard for last. Because he knew Donald wouldn't take it well.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" Donald yelled in frustration and rage. "AFTER ALL THE TROUBLE OF FINDING SEVEN OF THOSE BLASTED SHARDS, THE EIGHTH ONE FELL INTO ENEMY HANDS! AND NOW, THE NINTH ONE WAS SPLIT INTO THREE PIECES AND SENT OUT TO THREE OTHER WORLDS!? I'VE HAD IT UP TO HERE WITH THIS INSANITY!"
"Garwsh! This really does make things more complicated!" Goofy chattered his knees in fear with a nod.
"WAKWAKWAKWAKWAKWAKWAKWAK!" Donald raged and spun in a rapid circle tearing at his feathers.
But Connor, who was standing next to Melody and Emperor Mickey Mouse, formed a neon bubble around Donald to block his screaming duck noises. This bubble would only last until Donald calmed down.
"Okay while the fowl banshee gets it out of his system. You said something about Attuma helping Shadow King to find an Ultimate what now?" Connor asked Mickey as he was trying to understand what he was saying.
"Ultima actually. That is what this whole war is all about. To awaken the ancient cosmic deity who existed way before the Keyblade War. Even before Kingdom Hearts itself. In fact. You know his race as the Watchers." Mickey revealed.
Connor froze. "Ah damn." He muttered.
"What's wrong? Who are these watchers?" Melody asked with concern.
Connor displayed images of the Watchers of the Marvel Universe and all it's variant timelines.
'Billions of years ago, the technologically-advanced extraterrestrial race known as the Watchers decided it was their duty to help the universe's less advanced races. They are cosmic beings, who possess the innate ability to achieve virtually any effect desired, including augmenting personal attributes, time and space manipulation, molecular manipulation, energy projection and a range of mental powers. They also have access to incredibly advanced technology.' FELICITY explained.
"They're practically gods. And if Ultima was one of them. We're all in deep shit." Connor expressed.
"Okay. This is a lot worse than I was expecting." Melody muttered in a nervous tone before an idea came to her. "Wait, what about the other Watchers? Could they help us?"
"They can't. All the Watchers took a sworn oath to never interfere with the events of the Multiverse. Only to observe them. They can share knowledge and answer questions. But that's it." Mickey explained.
"They're basically very O.P. With self locked chastity belts." Connor expressed. "Imagine what damages they could do if they played with their powers like how Colin Trevorrow plays with the Jurassic Park franchise."
"Oh please, Connor. Don't give me any more nightmares." Melody said with a dramatic shudder that went down to her bare feet. "But. How was Ultima defeated the last time?"
"Ultima was a Watcher who followed the same protocol as all the others. Only the more he observed the Multiverse. The more his inner temptations grew. The Keyblade War is what fascinated him the most. The one event he was warned to not indulge in. Unfortunately he disobeyed and found out too much. About the potential of Kingdom Hearts. The power of darkness and everything. So he rebelled against the other watchers. Tried to use the knowledge of Kingdom Hearts and the Power Of Darkness to attack the Watchers. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to defeat them. And they all collectively destroyed Ultima." Mickey told the ancient tale.
Mickey had spent all this time. Following leads across the Multiverse. To find out this ancient knowledge. It took a stop at Traverse Town to speak with Cor Leonis. Who told him to start at Mount Olympus. As it was shared by Apollo himself. The Greek god of knowledge told Mickey to then look at the ruins of the Keyblade War. Which took days and weeks to search. But he then found a lead in the Realm of Darkness. Where he found the Shadow King communicating to Attuma. From a portal that lead to the temple inside Meridia.
"But if he was destroyed, then how is he still a problem?" Melody asked.
"That. I can't explain. But my Master can. If we can talk to him." Mickey explained.
"Follow me." Connor said as he dropped his neon bubble over Donald who finally calmed down. And he walked out with Melody and Mickey while Goofy followed from behind. Then Donald came to himself and ran after them.
This particular Master is one that most wielders of the Keyblade came into contact with and have often trained under. And now it was Melody's turn to meet him.
"Who's this master we're going to see?" Melody asked.
"Master Siy Den. He was a Keyblade Master long before any of us. And now he serves as an Archivist from his Observatory at Disney Palace." Mickey explained.
"Don't ask how old he is. I'm pretty sure his number doesn't exist." Connor muttered to Melody who stifled a giggle.
Then they made it to the hanger where a Ground Bridge would be activated. Connor turned it on by the console. Because he once met the Old Archivist before. During his Keyblade training supervised by his Uncle. Connor had instant access to Master Siy Den's Loft. Once the portal opened, they all went inside.
Down at Siy Den's Loft...
Residing inside the Disney Palace. Stood a large room with many book shelves all over the walls. Much like a library. The walls were blue with stars all over. And their were two star shaoed windows at the back wall to add in the light of the day time. Standing in the middle was a desk with a chair. And the old man who ran the place. Sitting in his chair.
Just then, the space bridge to the loft opened in front of the old man who smiled as he knew who it was.
Connor. Melody. Mickey. Donald and Goofy came through. While thr space bridge portal remained open.
Because it uses aquatic power. It's not to threat like many space portals to stay open. And
The old man in the chair wore a long dark blue wizard-like robe with stars patterned all over. And a pointy hat with stars on top. He had a normal skin down with a long white beard and blue eyes.
This was Master Siy Den. The oldest Keyblade Master alive. Now turned Archivist.
Mickey approached and gave a bow of respect. "Master." He greeted.
Donald. Goofy. And Connor bowed their heads as well. While Melody was surprised but she quickly bowed as well. Wondering if it's what she should do.
"Emperor Mickey. Connor. Donald. Goofy. And Princess Melody. Welcome. I expected you all to arrive." Siy Den said to all of them with calm faith.
"I found out why all of the stars were falling across the Multiverse. And how to stop it. But the Guardians still have questions that could be paramount with their mission." Mickey explained.
"Come forward and ask. I will do my best to answer." Siy Den gestured.
"If Ultima was a Watcher and the other Watchers killed him. How is he back? They wouldn't leave a trace of anyone left." Connor asked.
"Ah. But they didn't leave a trace. Only his influence and his dark deeds were left behind. And they manifested themselves into the Realm of Darkness. Where Ultima now dwells as a Heartless." Siy Den answered.
"Ultima is a heartless now?" Melody asked in surprise. "Well if that's the case, wouldn't that be an advantage for us since we have weapons specifically for destroying Heartless?"
"I'm afraid it's not quite so simple, my dear. His Heartless draws power from the collective darkness of all hearts. He exists as such. In actuality. You have already met him." Siy Den revealed.
"I have?" Melody gasped in shock. "When was this?"
"Pleasure Island. Where he tempted Connor's grief." Siy Den revealed.
They all widened their eyes. It was starting to become clear. Mickey however already figured this out but wanted them to hear it first.
"The Shadow King." Connor gasped.
"Now you see the true reach of Attuma." Siy Den confirmed.
"The Shadow King is Ultima's Heartless?!" Melody gasped in horror.
"Wait, hold up! Then who is his Nobody?! You can't become a Heartless without one?" Connor questioned.
"His Nobody is long dead. For you see. A thousand years ago. Ultima's nobody used his knowledge of Watcher technology to turn his Nobody into a living person within one of the Atlantis kingdoms. Where he lived and died a half of a full life. But he had a son before passing. And his son had descendants." Siy Den revealed.
"God...So this is like a Brightburn version of Avatar The Last Airbender." Connor was both weirded out and disturbed by this.
"What does that mean then? Is he going to use one of his descendants in place of his Nobody to come back?" Melody asked.
"Ultima's Nobody bloodline was scattered across four of the five Kingdoms. And he would need not one but two of his descendants with pour blood." Siy Den revealed.
"And you're saying that Ardyn Izunia and Attuma?..." Connor inquired.
"Are both the last descendants of Ultima's Nobody." Siy Den revealed. "The information and research you have all collected confirms this."
"Which means he could end up coming back even stronger than he was before?" Melody muttered in horror.
"No. No enemy is stronger than Ultima. Or could ever hope to be. But because of his godlike existence. It takes two descendants to bring him back. Along with the shadow king. And three tridents. Of the five tridents." Siy Den clarified.
"That's why he took your grandfather." Connor realized while looking at Melody.
"And now he only needs one more to complete his goal." Melody muttered in a grim tone.
"If Attuma were to acquire the trident of the first Kingdom. The others would be irrelevant. Because all other tridents are copies of the original. Much like the Keyblade's are to the X-Blade." Siy Den explained and leaned forward. "But. What Attuma doesn't know, is that only someone who is worthy of King Aquarius himself can wield its power. And whoever has it. Commands all oceans of every world."
"Well, at least there's a silver lining there." Melody said with a sigh. "But who do you think would actually be worthy of the original trident?"
"I think between Submariner and King Triton. We have a few who could match. But let's just worry about finding it first." Connor insisted.
"Uh, I think you might be forgetting something a little bit more important at the moment?" Donald said, getting everyone's attention. "The ninth pearl shard was split into three separate pieces, remember?"
"That shouldn't be a problem." They heard.
The tean turned around to see Cor Leonis walk in from Connor's portal. And nodded to Mickey and Siy Den who nodded back.
"I called him." Connor answered when Melody, Donald and Goofy looked at him.
"Gladiolus' team will handle those extra worlds Ardyn scattered the pieces across. While you Guardians will stay on your course to collect your designated pieces." Cor stated the plan that he and Connor came up with over the phone.
"Happy now, Fowl Play?" Connor teased playfully at Donald.
"Grrr." Donald grumbled as he crossed his arms. "At least we're not completely off course."
Just then as everyone was about to leave. Siy Den placed a large blue case that resembled a medieval equipment case.
More fantasy than medieval.
"Before you leave Connor. Give this to your friend, Noctis. Now that he is no longer under the influence of Attuma's dark power. He no longer has his dark abilities. He will need this as a replacement." Siy Den said.
"What is it?" Connor asked as he received the case.
"Something that only his heart would create." Siy Den stated.
Just then the doors bursts open with Pluto, The Emperor's loyal dog came in panting as he caught Mickey's scent. The moment Pluto spotted Mickey. It was all over.
"RUFF RUFF RUFF! RUFF RUFF!" Pluto ran over barking joyfully.
"Oh crap." Connor grinned as Pluto ran by him.
"RUFF RUFF!" Pluto barked as he joyfully tackled Mickey to the ground and licked his face.
"Aw Pluto! I missed you too, boy!" Mickey said laughing while trying to avoid his tongue. "Down, boy! Down!"
"I'm still confused. Ones a dog while the other is a dog who wears pants." Connor whispered to Melody as he gestured at Goofy and Pluto.
"Hopefully this isn't considered slavery." Melody muttered.
Just then. Empress Minnie walked in and up to her beloved who Pluto was still licking.
"You're Highness." Connor nodded with a grin.
They had met before. Especially since Connor used the portal for most of the worlds he visited in the past. Which were a few before he met Melody.
"Hello, Connor. It's nice to see you again." Minnie said with a friendly smile before moving to her husband. "Mickey. I'm so happy to see you!"
Pluto stopped to panted as he got off of Mickey who recovered from the the dog kisses. He shook his head and smiled at his wife. And got up to embrace her.
"Awe Minnie. I'm sorry for not telling you. I hope you weren't too worry about me." Mickey said with a sympathetic smile.
"I wasn't. Because I trusted you would come back to me. And I was right." Minnie smiled while taking his hands in hers.
"I should also let you know, Jiminy. The one you sent with the Two Stooges to find us." Connor spoke up.
"Hey!" Donald echoed.
"He offered to stay on my ship to document everything we do." Connor pointed out.
"And we also fixed his world." Melody added timidly.
"Well I'll be!" Mickey beamed happily.
"That's amazing! I thought his world was one of the ones that vanished!" Minnie smiled.
"More like faded. But...I'll explain later. I got in contact with several other worlds who could help us with the war. I know you've already done a lot. But-" Connor almost said to Mickey in concern.
"It's okay, Connor. I agree with you. We have to do everything we can to prepare for war. Or the worst. I'll stay here and help with a few tasks Master Siy Den assign me to. And make sure to recruit some people I know into tripling our efferts. I'll even talk to the people you've met across the Multiverse." Mickey assured.
"Oh I almost forgot. Melody." Minnie said before walking up to Melody and handing her a heartbinder with a strange hook emblem on it. "Here. I think you could use this quite well."
"Yes. That is a special charm you should hold on to. It is a Heartbinder. Because you and Connor have a gift of connecting to so many across other worlds. This charm will make thar gift stronger." Si Den stated and explain. "This one's world fell in darkness. And yet his heart remained strong to hibernate his spirit within this charm."
"Woah….Really?" Melody said as she accepted it. "That's very surprising."
"I have several of those. Long story short if ever were we get in a jam in the middle of a fight, we can use this to someone whoever's inside to end the fight. And yes you'll still have it even after we find a way to bring those worlds back." Connor explained further.
"Wow." Melody said before smiling at her heartbinder. "I don't know who you are in there, or if you can hear me. But I look forward to working with you."
There will be a lot more that will appear later. Connor already knows that.
"I better get going. My best recruits are almost ready for the rescue mission." Cor Leonis said before he said goodbye. "Farewell Guardians."
Then Cor Leonis walked out to get ready for the rescue of King Triton.
"We'd better go too. Nitro's is still out there with our eighth shard. And we don't want a repeat of Stanford." Connor insisted as he made for the exit.
Melody followed along with Donald and Goofy.
Since Emperor Mickey tasked them with helping him. And since they've been a team. They're going to stick to it. Once they went through the space bridge portal. It closed behind them.
"Good luck, Guardians of the Unknown." Siy Den smiled.
Later on at Connor's bedroom...
Because the Mav Club was too busy. They allowed Noctis to relax and gather his thoughts up in Connor's bedroom. Which he offered to. Needless to say. So much had happened and Noctis can't seem to wrap his head around everything. Everything he thought was a lie.
Attuma is a dark enemy underneath his respectable leader image. And his arch enemy turned out to be his best friend. He's not sure how to adjust to this revelation. Especially since he can't remember anything about his past still. But one things for sure. He knows Connor is right.
And that's enough for now.
Just then. Connor walked in to check on his best friend who was currently sitting at the couch. Watching out the window.
"How are you holding up, Man?" Connor asked out of concern.
"I'll live." Noctis said with a shrug.
Connor walked over and sat next to Noctis and looked out of the window with him. He glanced over at his friend who didn't stared back. He just kept his eyes glued to the window screen. Then he looked out with him. Connor was collecting his own thoughts on what to say.
"When um...When our plane came down. Our lives were destroyed sure but...Man my world was practically destroyed. Cause me and my Pops hadn't been on good terms. And I never got to fix that. But...I had you." Connor said while looking at Noctis.
"I'm sorry." Noctis muttered. "I honestly wish I could remember. But everything in my life before I was taken in my Attuma... It's all just blank... Even if there is this ache in my heart."
"Granted. We didn't live live to its fullest back then. But we did live. Just because those memories are forgotten doesn't mean they're lost. We're here because of what we had. And we don't need to be tethered to it either." Connor said in encouragement as he placed a hand on his shoulder. "Attuma may have stolen our past. But it's not his damn call take our future. It's ours."
Noctis thought for a moment. Letting Connor's words sink in. But before he could respond. He heard a voice from the door say.
"He's right." Luna said from the bedroom entry.
Noctis turned to look at Luna and his eyes widened at the sight of her new outfit.
Luna was now wearing a new dress that was quite revealing. The front of the dress, the fabric was in the shape of an X with the center of the X above her stomach, exposing a bit of cleavage, her sides, and part of her stomach. The straps of the dress reach down to her middle back, where they meet with the back of her top, leaving a bit of her back exposed. Her dress came with a waist cape and a loincloth that went down to her knees, and short shorts that covered half her thighs. She wore intricate thin arm bands on her arms. And she was barefoot with her legs bare as well.
All in all, she looked hot in her new Oracle outfit.
"Woah." Noctis muttered softly at the sight of his fiance in her new outfit, not noticing the smirk Connor was giving him at the reaction to his girlfriend's new look. "Wow, Luna. You look breathtaking."
"I've seen a lot of ladies make that look but he never made one to a lady, I think you broke him." Connor quipped as he pointed at Noctis.
Luna giggled as she sauntered over on her bare feet.
"You should've seen him when we first got intimate in bed together." Luna said before she sat on Noctis's lap, giving him a quick peck on the lips. "How are you feeling, Darling?"
"I'm...Getting there. You just made it better." Noctis answered as he wrapped his arm around her.
"Wait, in bed? As in... Tsk tsk!" Connor inquired and clicked his tongue to imply getting laid.
'The age of consent in Meridia is for those of the age of sixteen.' FELICITY stated in the background.
"Fair enough. The USA sucks anyway." Connor shrugged.
Just then, Melody walked in.
"Hey, guys. How's everyone doing?" Melody asked as she walked over.
"I think it's going. Or more like they're going." Connor pointed his thumb over at Noctis and Luna who are in a kissing session. Before he got up and walked over to Melody. "Right now the Illuminati are dealing with some bureaucratic bull while all the other heroes are dealing with Ardyn's sub bases throughout Europe. Some of us are still searching for Nitro and he's still our ticket to the next world."
"Well, hopefully, it won't be too long till we find him then." Melody said with a sigh. "So, what should we do in the meantime?"
"We've got an Oracle now. We don't have to wait around. And we've got our own Invenire Tower." Connor announced which got Luna's attention.
"That could work." Luna said in agreement.
"So, we're going to have Luna use her powers to help us find Nitro?" Melody asked.
"It's possible with this city's Invenire Tower. It's a mystical beacon that transcends across light to find the location of Darkness anywhere across the Multiverse." Luna explained as she stood up.
"Well then, let's give it a shot then." Melody said enthusiastically.
"We have to cut through town. And by that I mean this underwater town. So." Connor took off his jacket and t shirt, revealing his muscular abs. "Do you wanna sink in your outfit or Mermaid form?"
Melody blushed hard at the sight of her boyfriend shirtless.
"I think I'll go with mermaid this time." Melody stammered out while trying to control her blushing. "I haven't used that form in a while."
"I'll go on literal foot for this one. I'd rather not have some of my neighbors think I'm converting." Connor remarked as he hung his jacket and t shirt up. Then he opened up the second door to the dome balcony.
"Lead the way then." Luna said as she and Melody moved to follow him.
"You coming, Noctis?" Melody asked before they left.
"Nah, you guys go on ahead." Noctis said to them as he reclined in his seat. "I'll just stay here and enjoy the silence."
"I'm pretty sure he means brood." Connor muttered to himself.
Connor made it outside with the girls and walked across his outdoor pool and rooftop lawn. And went straight to the glass dome on the east end. Melody saw how advanced and large Atlantis was compared to where she's been to. While Lunafreya was already used to it.
"That's the tower down there. On the east side of the city near the Temple of Negrete." Connor pointed down towards the view and location. Which looked to be about ten miles away.
"Wow. That's quite a distance away." Melody said. "Looks like we're getting our exercises for the day."
"Mel. Don't tell me you forgot how fast we can swim. We're practically this town's Superman." Connor reminded.
"True. But like I said. It's been a while since I've been in mermaid mode. For all I know, my tail could be rusty." Melody pointed out.
"Alright. I'll give you a refresher course." Connor said as he opened the hatch to an exit tube.
Connor slipped right in and got sucked out onto the water outside the dome. Then Connor swam over to the dome from the other end and pointed at the exit tube for Melody to go next.
Melody nodded and went into the exit tube.
"For The Sea!" Melody declared, transforming as she was sucked out, emerging in the water as a mermaid. "Alright, it's mermaid time."
Luna went through the exit tube and into the water with them. Due to her Meridian biology which is the same as all Atlantean, she can breathe underwater with ease.
Then Connor held his hands out and formed an underwater current tunnel which ran almost similar to a freeway to avoid traffic.
He gestured for the ladies to enter in which Melody had no trouble with. And Luna trusted the Maverick's intentions. Especially since he's helping the one she loves to see the light.
Once they went in. They rode up fast into the current and Connor flew past them as they were heading for the means to find Nitro.
Later at the Invenire Tower...
Connor landed at the steps of the tower. While he slowed the current down for Melody and Luna to do the same. The pearly stairs which lead to the tower were pretty high to see it. Given that it reaches at a current height for it to function.
"Give me a sec. I need to inform the temple guards." Connor said as he went up the steps.
Leaving Luna and Melody alone to chat.
"So. Have you known Connor for a while?" Luna asked Melody to start a decent chat while they wait.
"Well, depends on what you would call a while." Melody said. "I met him almost a day before my grandfather was captured by Attuma."
"It can be considered a while. Especially with the journey you were both on. I kept a close eye on your grandfather and told him about what you and Connor have done for the Multiverse." Luna smiled.
Melody's eyes widened at hearing this.
"Is he okay? They haven't hurt him, have they?" Melody asked with concern in her voice.
"Not at all. In spite of the monstrous crimes Attuma has committed to the other kingdoms. He gave specific orders to not let anyone harm him. I made sure he was well taken care of." Luna assured.
Melody let out a sigh of relief.
"Thank goodness for that." Melody said with a sigh before continuing to converse with Luna. "So, how long have you known Noctis for?"
"For a good long while. Actually, we met when he had arrived to us four years ago. The guards brought him to my mother at the Meridian Temple. And she was in charge of repairing his mind." Luna started as she continued to hover in the water.
"I take that it didn't go as she was hoping it would?" Melody asked.
"Quite the opposite actually. He had managed to awaken. But his chain of memories were disconnected due to the damage from the crash and the trauma he endured. The Palace physicians and my mother, the High Priestess were all able to repair Rangum...I'm sorry. 'Noctis'. His body was easy. His mind was damaged. So as an Oracle in training. I was put in charge to be his guide and instructor. For the first year we had gotten along. Then half of the second year we were exploring possibilities." Luna explained. And was meek about the second part.
"Oh? And what exactly does that mean?" Melody asked with a knowing smirk.
"Well. Noctis was more focused on training most days. And other days when Attuma would dismiss him from his practice and duties. I made sure he had company. And since I was the only one he was ever honest and intimate with. It wasn't hard for us to end up together." Luna admitted with a soft tone. And she smiled at Melody. "In fact, I deduce that he wants to propose to me."
Melody gasped with a smile.
"That's great! I'm so happy for you guys!" Melody beamed as she moved to give the older girl a hug. "Maybe you guys could get married here after everything's over."
Luna hugged back with a soft chuckle. And she had to admit. "Well he hasn't yet. But when he does propose. I will definitely say 'yes'. However...Now that I am hearing things about who he was before. Especially his real name. I wish for the man I love to ask me, as the real him." Luna expressed.
"Well, don't you worry. If anyone can help him find his true self again, it's Connor." Melody said confidently.
"I hope so." Luna sighed.
Just then. Connor swam back over to them from the top of the steps.
"Alright. The guards will let us in but the Cephalopoid priest will need you present to be convinced." Connor told the girls.
"I understand." Luna said with a nod.
"Cephalopoid? What's that?" Melody asked with a raised eyebrow in confusion.
"They're like humanoid squids and they have no human or fish-like mouths. So they can only communicate in one particular fashion." Connor explained as they swam up the steps. "Also why have stairs if everything's underwater?"
He's got a point.
"They don't have mouths? Then how do they eat?" Melody asked as they made their way up.
The Invenire Tower looked like a large spear end, with the right side being made of rock and metal, while the left and middle part of the structure looked like it was made of cosmic energy. Like three swirling galaxies down the middle.
Just then Connor swam up past the entry with the girls following him. And he made it up to a creature with blue aquatic drapes.
This creature had eight tentacles below its white gel-like torso with no visible organs. Probably underneath its tentacles. Its head was round with swirling appendages below its two black oval shaped eyes. This was the Cephalopoid Priest. And it stood as it was waiting for them to approach.
Connor swam up and stood as it communicated to it with the only language it knew.
"Boow! Bfft-tyck-sicka-sicka-bfft-tyck-sicka-bfft-tyck-sicka-sicka-bifft-sicka-sicka-bfft tyck-kah!" Connor beat boxed the language.
***"bryn-heebo-tcyk-hibu-crnu-Chee~byrn-Kaugh!"*** The Cephalopoid Priest responded in beatbox style as well. As its appendages for teeth was making the vocal noises.
While Melody was looking weirdly at them. Connor responded.
"Boom-whomp-boom-knop-boomin-manga-boomin-manga-boom-whomp-boom-knop-boomin-manga-boomin-manga!" Connor replied in beatbox style.
***"Broom-hep-tick-hep-tick-cyanidur-hep-tick-hep-hep-hep-bricka-dick-huuurn!"*** The Cephalopoid Priest responded.
Then Connor turned to the girls. Lunafreya took this casually while Melody was weirded out.
"He'll let us use the tower now." Connor translated and saw Melody's face. And inquired. "What?"
"What the heck was that?" Melody asked with a befuddled look.
"It's the only way they can talk, Princess Wayen Brady." Connor scolded while teasingly calling her racist.
"All Cephalopods can only communicate through the use of phonic rhythms. Due to the lack of vocal cords and lips." Luna explained as they were swimming past the priest.
"It sounded a lot like something out of some of Connor's music." Melody said as they swam.
"That's cause my music is the only one you know." Connor mocked teasingly.
"Don't make me kiss you into submission." Melody threatened with a smirk.
"And she's kinky." Connor muttered to himself before he went to open the double doors ahead. "So Luna, when you said something about being intimate with Noct. How intimate are we talking?"
He asks this while he was turning the locks on the doors.
Luna had a bright blush on her face.
"Well... Let's just say….We've pretty much gone all the way and back dozens of times now." Luna said with a sheepish smile.
Connor understood what that meant. He wasn't interested in that topic yet due to his age. But he knew he would be there eventually. So he decided to put a pin on it.
Once they made it to the central chamber of the tower. Connor, Melody and Luna made it to the center orb in the room. The wall designs looked about the same as the outside of the building. And in the center was a orbe that was the size of a disco ball stationed on top of a petestial in the middle of the room.
"From the core of the tower here. I can use this entire chamber to get a lock within the heart of any individual within this earth." Luna said. "If this Nitro is still somewhere in this world. There is nowhere he can possibly hide without this tower knowing."
"I tried asking the Professor to use Cerebro but he said there was too much darkness interfering with his telekinetic readings." Connor added.
"Because the tower reaches within the light of this world, it can push past the darkness to find even the most corrupt of hearts." Luna declared as she swam over to get ready to use it.
"So, this thing should be able to help us find out where Nitro is?" Melody asked.
"Yes. But I can only use it to zoom in at a certain point. If I go into his exact location. It could give away my presence to him and he will know you're coming the moment I find him." Luna explained as she placed her hands on the orb and closed her eyes as the room began to glow around the patterns.
"Try finding the exact town, neighborhood or even district he's located in. No need to compromise our arrival." Connor suggested.
"Indeed." Luna agreed as she exhaled as she began.
She sent her awareness and mind through the echoes across time and space. To find out where Nitro might be located. She was very trained in this type of Atlantean magic. So this was a guarantee. Nitro had done too much damage to get away, if Cerebro couldn't find him. This will.
"He's located somewhere in Manhattan... Within the area known as Harlem." Luna said as she was sensing an exact area without being detected.
"What's he doing in New York City?" Melody asked in thought.
"Virginia Hunter." Connor realized.
"Who?" Melody asked, unfamiliar with that name.
"Nitro's daughter Virginia. She's teaches art down at Columbia University and lives with her wife and son down in Harem. If anything, either he's going there to check on her or to say goodbye." Connor explained.
"When you say goodbye, you don't mean he's…
.gonna….." Melody almost asked with concern.
Meaning to kill his own daughter. All just to tie up loose ends.
"Pretty much." Connor testified.
"That's just sick." Melody said, appalled by this. "We have to stop this monster."
At this point. Luna stopped using the tower and the room stopped glowing as he looked over at them.
"And we will. We'll corn hole that ass wipe." Connor said as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "But first. Let's head back to the Mav Club. I'll let the others know where we're heading next."
"Right. Let's hurry, then." Melody said.
"Yes, indeed. I may not be much of a fighter. But I shall do all I can to help." Luna said.
After that they walked out. Connor was pondering what to do next. In order to find Nitro, he would need to get in contact with a known ally who is familiar with the area and the corruption that goes on.
And he thinks he knows the right guy.
Later down at the Mav Club...
Once Connor informed the team on where they were heading to next. After he got back in his full Keyblade attire. And Melody was still in her keyblade outfit.
Melody. Donald and Goofy. Along with Mini-Mav were standing at the hanger of the Space Bridge portal as he stood in front and explained where they were going next.
"Alright team. Our next move is simple. Head down to harem and find Nitro but under the radar. Get to his daughter before he gets to her." Connor stated before he looked at Donald and Goofy. "Donald, Goofy. I'll need you two to head down to the Baxter building and let Robby know that we found him. And we'll need him to get in the suit to finish this."
"Okay." Donald nodded.
"You can count on us, Connor." Goofy gave two thumbs up.
"Just be careful while you're out there." Donald said.
"Uh huh. What he said." Goofy added.
"I will. I always am." Connor said to his two buddies before he looked at Melody. "Also Mel? You're gonna need these. New York may be diverse but they'll think you're homeless if they see you're pretty toenails on the pavement. That and the city has a literal rat problem."
Connor held up a pair of really nice looking female sneakers that would go well with her outfit.
"Right. Thanks." Melody said as she accepted the sneakers before putting them on along with the blue leather jacket she won at Traverse Town. "Okay. All set. How do I look?"
"Like you're from Brooklyn looking to be the next Victoria Secrets. Now, Luna. Noctis will need you more than I do. And by that I mean his team. You know the Meridian palace and guard patrols more than they do. Go to the briefing wing just down the hall and help guide them to where Attuma is keeping Triton hostage." Connor said to Luna.
"I will. Good luck in your search." Luna smiled and nodded before she started walking out, her bare feet making hardly a sound as she made her way to the exit.
"Alright. Let's hustle." Connor said as he got to the terminal and began typing in an address in New York which would lead to a rooftop.
Just then. Noctis walked in wearing his new outfit and his new Keyblade! As Luna was almost at the exit. She gasped in awe to see her beloved in his new looks.
Noctis now wore a black shirt underneath an open shirt sleeve jacket, black pants that stopped halfway down his shins with black strips of fabric coming from his belt, combat boots that went up to and covered the other half of his shins, and black fingerless gloves.
In one of his hands is his keyblade. The grip was black with the hilt having a hand trigger, wings of metal on the other side. The blade itself was long, the outer blade being a silver color, then a greyish silver, and then the middle being gold. And at the bottom of the blade was embedded a gem which radiated power.
"Hey. Just wanted to see you guys off and wish you luck." Noctis said before turning towards his girlfriend, who was staring at him with wide eyes and a blush on her cheeks. "So, what do you think of my new look?"
Luna smiled lovingly as she walked up to him on her bare feet and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"You look so dashing, my love." Luna said before kissing him on the lips, to which he returned while putting his hands around her waist.
Connor looked like he was about to comment. But then his terminal beeped for a bridge request. He saw that the identification was Gladiolus. He knew his team were ready to rescue King Triton.
"Aye aye aye. Puedes pasar la salsa tártara?" Mini-Mav said something suggestive in Spanish while watching Noctis and Luna kiss passionately.
So Connor silently typed in the terminal to grand the second party permission to come through and he activated the portal.
"Achem! Silver Lagoon?! Ya'll can go play fly fishing later! There's a king in distress!" Connor called over to Noctis and Luna who both stopped kissing.
Noctis blushed while Luna stifled a giggle with her fingers on her lips.
"We can resume later tonight?" Noctis asked while rubbing the back of his neck.
"You can count on that." Luna said before leaning in to whisper quietly to him so no one else could hear. "And if all goes right, maybe we'll have all night play time later."
"Oooh I wanna play too!" Mini-Mav jumped with his hand up.
"Go wash your voice box out, Mini-Perv." Connor snorted.
Just then as the portal to Traverse Town opened. Gladiolus. Prompto and Ignis came through. And Noctis walked over to them.
"Hey y'all. I like you all to meet my Homeboy. Noctis Caelum." Connor started some introduction. "Noct. These are Meridia's civil reprobates. Four prime members of the Resistance."
"So, you're the Mav's infamous BFF we've heard about eh?" Gladiolus said with a smirk and arms crossed. "Nice to meet you, Kid."
"Heard through the grapevine you're totally badass." Prompto said with a big grin. "I think you'll fit in nicely with our mottly crew."
"Yes. I certainly hope so." Ignis said while pushing up his glasses, light glinting off the lenses. "We'll definitely need your support with our rescue mission."
"Wow. I didn't expect much of a welcome wagon. Considering how many of your men... I took down...as Sea Slayer." Noctis ackwardly said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Are you kidding? Half of our troops used to work for Attuma before joining our side." Gladiolus said, waving off his concern. "So this ain't exactly our first rodeo."
"Not to mention Gladio here slept with one our newest recruits." Prompto said with a smirk.
"Watch it." Gladiolus glared at him.
He and Aranea are actually in a stable-ish relationship. But duty calls. And fun time comes after the shift is over.
"Alright. So what's the plan?" Noctis asked.
"We'll fill you in on the way. We best get moving." Ignis said, gesturing for Noctis to follow them into the portal.
"Alright then. Let's go." Noctis said as he moved to follow.
Connor nodded as he stood by the terminal and he shook Noctis' hand.
"Let us know when you get him out." Connor said.
"You got it." Noctis nodded.
Then on that note. They all went through the portal. And then Connor changed the frequency to activate a ground Bridge to Manhattan. While Lunafreya went to the main terminal to communicate with Noctis while he does his mission.
They were right about Noctis being welcome. Granted not everyone will fully accept him. But they had a war to win. And having Attuma's best warrior in their ranks will do it.
Later down at the MetLife Building in New York City...
It was during the afternoon in The portal opened in the afternoon open sky of in the Big Apple. As it was stationed on the rooftop of the Met Life Building.
The Maverick and Tsunami stepped out as they admired the view of the big city. As the pigeons were flying by. And the sound of a busy city with car horns blowing and traffic was heard down below.
"Take a good look, Mel. You're in the city that never sleeps. And in the Marvel version of it as a bonus." Maverick smirked as he stood at the edge to look out at the city.
"Wow. This city is even bigger in person." Tsunami said with a bit of awe in her voice.
"Yeah well when you're down there. You might break your next trying to look up at how tall these skyscrapers are." Maverick remarked as he crossed his arms. "My dad. And Noctis' dad wanted to take both of us to see this place. Or...Actually my world's New York. This version knocks it out the water."
"Only because this one is home to all your favorite Marvel heroes." Tsunami said with a knowing tone.
"I hope I'm on the list!" They heard someone say.
They looked up st the radio tower to see a Spider-Man in a black suit with red web patterns on the suit. Maverick smirked to see that it was Miles Morales. The second Spider-Man.
"Sorry. It's just I was already here, doing some patrolling and then suddenly your portal opened and I almost concluded it was Stargate." Spider-Man quipped.
"Connor? Is that Spiderman?" Tsunami asked with surprise and awe.
"Miles? This is my girlfriend, Princess Melody AKA Tsunami. Mel? This is Miles Morales, everyone's favorite second Spider-Man/Web Spinned brother." Maverick made the introduction.
Spider-Man web zipped upside-down and held his hand out to Tsunami for a handshake.
"S'up." Spider-Man greeted.
"Hi, Miles. It's nice to meet you." Tsunami smiled while shaking his hand.
"I heard about Nitro from Pete. They're all dealing with some loose ends from the Lavarian base and some of us are dealing with some threats like Fisk. Where do you think Nitro went?" Miles asked.
"A reliable source told us that we would find him in Harem. Is Luke still down there? We gotta meet with him." Maverick asked.
"Yeah he should be. He and Danny just got back from their business trip. They should be in their office." Spider-Man answered before he landed and was getting ready to swing off. "Good hunting Y'all!"
Then Spider-Man Miles Morales ran off the roof and swung off into the city. Doing some sweet tricks. More than likely to go and handle some other crime fighting business in the city. New York is a big place, with endless possibilities. And dangers to threaten it's existence.
"With Peter Parker being both a Dad and an Avenger. Miles is keeping the Spidey quota out here efficient." Maverick remarked as he stood over on the other side. "Remember all of that Free Form practice you did in the jungle?"
"I sure do. This place is perfect to practice." Tsunami said.
"Alright then. Whoop whoop!" Maverick howled as he dashed into the air and used his aquatic parkour skills to dash across the rootops.
While Tsunami took a back peddle on the water momentum he was giving off to slide and dash across the rootops. Using her Free Flow skills to graceful leap and flip into the air. The Princess had to admit. Their suits and skills definitely matches this city.
"Wooohooooo!" Tsunami howled as she went across the air. Matching at the speed of her partner and boyfriend.
Down over at Heroes For Hire Office...
The HQ of the Heroes for Hire looked a lot like a department for security. With their logo up in neon lights. Right in the center of Harem. And inside the main office alongnwith file cabinets. A punching bag. Wieghts. And sitting at one of the two different office desks in the room was the man in charge himself. The big black bald man with a goatee. Yellow t shirt and muscles as hard as anything in existence. Was the leader, Carl Lucas. AKA Luke Cage.
And standing by the window was the guy in the green and yellow chi warrior inspire uniform, along with the trademark yellow head mask. Was Danny Rand. AKA Iron Fist
"And you're new Oracle said that Nitro would be out here?" Luke asked as he heard the whole story from Maverick who was sitting at two of the chairs in front with Tsunami sitting next to him.
"Very sure. And we wouldn't be here if shit wasn't getting real. He has the pearl shard we need to continue our journey." Maverick stated.
"That pearl is serious magic. If one shard is lost, it'll be more difficult for Atlantis to win their war." Iron Fist said in support for Maverick.
"Alright. I'll help you, Kid. But I'm gonna need a lead. Got anything to start?" Luke asked.
"Well, we believe he's going after his daughter, Virginia Hunter." Tsunami said to Luke. "Word is she lives down here. She'll need your protection more than anyone."
"Isn't that Lieutenant Hunter's Wife?" Iron Fist asked.
"The same one." Maverick nodded.
"Ah Nitro's in for hell if he's messing with that lady's better half." Iron Fist cringed.
"Who's this Lieutenant Hunter?" Tsunami asked.
"Lieutenant Samantha Hunter's one of the best. She's Pro-Cape which is good for our business. And she's one of the few good people around here. Anyone who doesn't know her is either from outta town or off world." Luke grinned.

"We'll go and pick up Virginia and bring her back for protection. If you two and go pick up Lieutenant Hunter. She's currently with a recruit of ours, Detective Misty Knight. And they're doing a crater investigation down at the Train Yard in Queens." Iron Fist said as he stood up straight.
"Got it. We'll head there quickly and make sure to keep her safe." Tsunami said with a nod.
"We'll stay with Virginia in case Nitro shows his ass. We'll be ready. And whatever you do. Don't engage him without us." Luke cautioned.
"I know. I already promise Robbie the same thing." Maverick assured and muttered. "And my Mom."
On that note. Maverick teleported out of the building with Tsunami. As Luke shook his head with a grin as he found it to be amusing that no one ever uses the front door. Why even build one?
Later down at the Sunnyside Yard in Queens...
The Sunnyside Train Yard is normally a slow traffic of cargo trains and people moving in shipment for the working men doibg hobest labor. But with the crater near a building under construction next to the yard. It's been closed off in this section. Leaving the cargo trains to alter their course to go the long way. Hopefully some of those train workers will be getting overtime for this.
Misty Knight who was wearing long jeans and boot with a red leather jacket and a black tank top underneath. With her robotic right arm was already investigating the crash site. With Lieutenant Samantha Hunter who was wearing a blue cops uniform and a brown coat was standing above the crater on look out.
"This definitely wasn't just TNT. It's too precise." Misty stated as she felt the burnt soil with her left arm.
Just then. Maverick and Tsunami landed above the crater and looked at Misty Knight.
"Detective Knight?" Maverick called as Misty looked up.
"Hold it right there! This crime scene is off limits!" Lieutenant Hunter pointed her gun.
"As ease, Lieutenant. They're with us." Misty eased the cop before she stood up and scoffed. "What are you doing here, Mav? Ain't this above your payroll?"
Lieutenant Hunter eased up when she realized this was the Maverick.
"Normally yes. But this kinda got tangled with your police tape. Unless you guys use the cloud or scotch tape. Anyway got side tracked. Nitro is back." Maverick informed them.
"Nitro? Shit. This definitely smells like him." Misty sneered as she looked down at the crater realizing it was an explosion.
Before Tsunami could make a comment, she paused, sensing something, causing her kneel down and place her hand on the ground.
She could tell that something was running...Something big.
"What is it, Tsu?" Maverick asked.
"I think something big is coming." Tsunami looked concerned.
Maverick looked over behind and his eyes widened. "Move!" He yelled as he quickly teleported Misty Knight, Lieutenant Hunter and Tsunami one by one out of the way as they all landed on the roof of the insurance shop near by and they all got a look at who was running.
***CRASH!***
They all saw the train that was behind them get knocked down and split in two. Seeing the Juggernaut himself running.
"OUTTA MY WAY!" Juggernaut roared as he charged and jumped to grab another train car.
"What the fuck is Juggernaut doing here?!" Misty hissed from her hiding place.
"Maybe his Amazon shipment of steroids got delayed." Maverick quietly quipped.
"Who, or what the heck is this guy?!" Tsunami asked with a bit of shock.
"That's Professor X's Step Brother. Cain Marko. AKA the Juggernaut. Years ago his X-Genes were exposed to the mystical Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. Turning him into this Heavyweight dickhead." Maverick whispered an explanation.
"Geez. This guy looks like he could go head to head with the hulk." Tsunami muttered.
***"RUUUUUUUUUUAGH!"***
The Incredible Hulk's roars echoed throughout the train yard.
"you had to jinx us." Maverick sighed.
Just then Juggernaut tossed the train card backwards only for it to be knocked aside as the Incredible Hulk landed and huffed and growled at Juggernaut.
"HULK SMAAAASH!" Hulk roared loudly.
"I don't know whether to be glad to see him, or terrified in how this might escalate." Tsunami muttered.
"The Lieutenant and I can go down and clear the streets and set a perimeter. You keep those body builders under control." Misty Knight said as he and Lieutenant ran down to the fire exit.
"That's the closest thing you'll ever get to hearing her say she trusts you." Maverick remarked with a grin.
"Well, that's comforting." Tsunami said before getting serious. "Okay. So how are we doing this?"
"Alright. First things first. We gotta help Hulk wear a Juggernaut down to take his Helmet off. Then Charles and use his telekinetic ability to subdue him." Maverick said the first part of the game plan.
While the Hulk charged and knocked Juggernaut down to the ground.
"Alright then. Let's do this!" Tsunami said, falling into a battle stance.
Maverick Tsunami then ran off the roof to go and join the fight. While in the air. Maverick constructed a water berrier to block the streets so no one can get in or out of the train yard. Leaving them alone with Juggernaut and the Hulk.
Hulk was punching the day lights out of Juggernaut before Juggernaut grabbed Hulk's face and he slammed Hulk to the ground and punched his face to send him crashing into an empty building. But Tsunami jumped over and formed a giant water bed for Hulk to land in. The Hulk grunted and quickly got up to land on his large bare green feet.
"You...help Hulk?" Hulk questioned Tsunami who landed up to him.
"Of course. You're one of the good guys." Tsunami simply said before turning her attention towards Juggernaut. "Now let's take this guy down."
Hulk nodded and glared hard at Juggernaut.
But just as Juggernaut was about to add to the fight. He staggered a bit. And felt his Crimson Gem emit some negative energy was was being affected by the dark essence of Nitro who was here earlier.
Thus the effect caused the Heartless to appear around Juggernaut. Spawns of Shadow Heartless along with Golem Heartless. The Golem Heartless were giant muscular rock men with the Heartless emblem and more deformed than the Thing. And they were focused on the heroes rather than Juggernaut.
"Huh. Seems I got some free hired help." Juggernaut snickered as he held his fists up.
"Oh shit." Maverick muttered.
"Really?!" Tsunami groaned in annoyance seeing the Heartless.
"Dark bugs bad?!" Hulk asked about the Heartless.
"They're called Heartless! And yes! They're really bad!" Tsunami said, preparing herself to fight the heartless.
"Then Hulk crush DARK BUGS!" Hulk smacked his fists as he charged and slammed his fists into four of the Golem Heartless. Shattering them instantly.
Then Maverick and Tsunami charged at Juggernaut who was running towards them as Juggernaut swung his fists but Maverick blocked the first strike with his keyblade and Tsunami blocked the second. Then they twirled and delivered three combo slashed at Juggernaut's helmet. Making him staggered before he punched Maverick down, making him grunt as he hit the ground. Then he grabbed Tsunami's leg and tossed her. Making her yell as she fell into the pavement.
The Hulk saw that and got mad as he ran in and grabbed a steel beam and roared as he slammed it into Juggernaut's head three times. But then Juggernaut grabbed the beam and brow it in two before he jumped and slammed his head into Hulk. But then Hulk just staggered before he growled and slammed his head even harder into Juggernaut who was sent forward. Then Tsunami's came in and formed a giant water bat to slam into Juggernaut. As he was sent tumbling into the ground.
Maverick was then busy slashing at the Shadow Heartless. Using his neon and water abilities to form waves that spun around and kept wiping em out as quickly as they came.
"MEL USE THE HEARTBINDER!" Maverick called over ad he was too busy with the Heartless.
"Right!" Tsunami said before pulling out her heartbinder, holding it to her chest as it started to glow. "GIVE ME STRENGTH!"
Then suddenly illuminated water waves washed around her with giant sea shells and sea turles around it as a large muscular Tattooed Polynesian looking guy wearing only a leafy waist cloth and a giant stone fish hook club came rushing around it.
It was Maui. Shap shifter. Demigod of the Wind and Sea. Hero of men and Women.
"CHAHOOOOOOOO! IT'S MAUI TIME!" Maui howled.
After the waters faded. Maui shape shifted into a eagle and flew around Juggernaut who was giving punches to the Hulk who was blocking most of them.
Then Maui as an eagle dropped a bunch of sea weed on Juggernaut's helmet making him stagger.
"Ew!" Juggernaut wretched at it.
"Hey, big guy! You gotta eat your greens! Not beat em!" Maui jested as he slammed his fishhook down on Juggernaut's helmet. Making it crack in two.
"NOOO!" Juggernaut yelled as his head was exposed.
Then Maui spun his fish hook and winked at Tsunami. "What can I say, except your welcome." Maui winked before he disappeared as Tsunami smiled at him.
Just then Maverick jumped into the air to get out of the group of Heartless briefly to call in Professor X from his Gummiphone.
Charles came up on the screen.
"Connor? What's wrong?" Charles asked.
"Long story short! Put your in-law on a leash!" Maverick faced the phone at Juggernaut.
Charles widened his eyes to see Juggernaut rushing into the Hulk. Making the Hulk stagger but Hulk punched him off. But just as Juggernaut got back up. Professor X narrowed his eyes and held two fingers out to mentally freeze Juggernaut.
And on that note. Juggernaut froze in place. Hulk then picked up a fallen truck and jumped into the air and slammed the truck into Juggernaut. Before Hulk slammed his elbow on top.
***BOOOOOOM!***
Thus ending the fight.
Tsunami. Maverick and the Hulk stood together on top of the fallen Juggernaut. As the Incredible Hulk lets out a victorious roar.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" Hulk echoed throughout the trainyard.
And on that note. All of the other Heartless fadded into oblivion.
"It could he his crystal gem was mixed into whatever darkness Nitro left behind." Maverick figured on what caused the Heartless to appear.
"Well, it's a good thing Hulk showed up when he did. Otherwise, this fight wouldn't have ended the way it did." Tsunami said.
Hulk grunted as he went over and pulled the wreck truck off of Juggernaut who was down and outcold.
"I will inform some contacts in Rikers to come in and pick Cain up. Well done, Connor. You as well, Melody." Charles said on the phone.
"Thanks, Professor. Always happy to help where we can." Tsunami smiled.
On that note they hung up with the Professor to help with whatever they need to do after the battle.
"Uh you mean, help where 'we' can? I helped too you know?" Maverick inquired sarcastically.
"Hulk helped too." Hulk grunted.
The Hulk is not as out of control as he used to be. Because he has a relationship with Betty Ross who now works for Shield and the Avengers. It made it easier for the Hulk to make connections with a lot of friends. Like Captain America who appricates the Hulk for his strength.
"We all helped." Tsunami corrected herself with humor.
Just then Misty Knight and Lieutenant Hunter ran back over with a swat team securing the area. They even got a call from the men at Rikers and the Department of Damage Control to extract Juggernaut and repair the damages.
"I don't know why you both came. But you just made me and Jolly Green here's job a whole lot easier." Misty Knight grinned.
"Hmph." The hulk grunted in his breath in response.
"Well...That's another story. Getting back to Nitro. Lieutenant Hunter, right? Your wife might be in danger. We just got word that Nitro is in Harlem, so we sent Luke Cage and Iron Fist to watch after her. But we still need to find her father before it's too late." Tsunami said to Lieutenant Hunter.
Who of course was starting to look worried.
"Damnit." Samantha Hunter muttered with great concern for her wife. "I was afraid this day would come. When that bastard would rear his ugly head again."
"Everyone wants a taste of him. Even Penance. But do you have any leads or ideas on where he might go first?" Maverick asked them.
Misty Knight remembered going over the clues she collected over by the crater. So she might have an idea.
"Actually. The compound inside the crater is familiar to a specific chemical compound used in grenades. It could be a trail. But the radiation inside caused it to run cold early." Misty Knight stated.
"Well. Lucky for us, we already have an expert in radiation. He's got the scars to prove it." Maverick grinned up at Hulk.
Hulk scowled.
"Hulk not interested in big words." Hulk said before he was turning to walk off.
"We don't mean you. We're talking about Bruce Banner." Misty Knight sharply corrected as she scowled up at him.
Hulk's eyes widened at the mentioned of his human identity. Which made him growl and glare down at Misty Knight.
"Hulk not puny Banner! Now leave Hulk alone!" Hulk snapped as he balled his fists.
Tsunami took a step back while Maverick's arm in front of her to protect her.
"Listen Bigfoot! We got lives to say and we don't give a shit about who wants to get out of the attic more often! So if you do don't give us Banner in the next three seconds! Bottom line, I'm gonna kick your ass." Misty Knight glared hard up at Hulk.
Hulk glared back with the same expression for a few short tense seconds before...
"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Hulk started laughing hard as he turned around and got on his knees. "Hahahahahahahahahaa!"
Then Hulk instently shrunk back to Bruce Banner who was in his torn pants. Still laughing. Maverick and Tsunami were shocked while Lieutenant Hunter looked briefly relieved and suprised. But Misty Knight just watched with a knowing grin.
A regular cop with a robotic left arm just got the Incredible Hulk to back down with a threat. And made him laugh! What are the odds?
"Hahahahahahahaha! Okay...Okay, just give me a second. I haven't been out for hours." Bruce laughed and exhaled.
"How... How did you know that would work?" Tsunami asked in surprise.
"I've seen him laugh at women before. We know what nerves to hit with men." Misty Knight smirked at Banner.
Just then Banner caught his breath and dusted himself.
"Whew...Alright. I'll help you track down Nitro. But first. I need a sample of what's in the crater." Bruce Banner said to them and he looked down and blushed nervously. "And a spare set of cloths."
It's not like he's gonna do this while half naked. It's easier to do when he's big and green. Either way they got help in tracking down Nitro. And the hunt was just getting started.
Meanwhile in Merida...
Noctis was with his new team from the Resistance as they were perched onto a watch tower with a guard that was taken down by Gladiolus. As Ignis was looking through his binoculars towards the place down below. He was taking note of all the guards that were patrolling around the outside.
"There are at least forty to fifty guards all around the outer grounds. And there are at least twenty patrolling at all times inside the palace." Noctis told Ignis as they were looking down.
"Do they switch their shifts with other guards at a certain hour?" Ignis asked Noctis.
"Yeah. But they only switch the nightly patrols by sundown." Noctis answered.
"Emphasis on nightly." Prompto jested.
"What about the keys to Triton's room?" Ignis asked.
"Attuma carries them at all times. The only thing that would be easier is the bed room balcony. And luckily for us I still have the keys to the balconies." Noctis answered.
"Alright. Anything else?" Ignis asked.
"There are over eight spotlights set to turn on every night. They move from side to side to monitor the outer court. Palace gardens and the bridge." Noctis stated.
Since he used to walk around these parts as Sea Slayer. He knows this place inside and out.
"And the walls?" Gladiolus asked.
"Electrified among the patterns. They turn them on from a security console in the guard barracks, including the palace security cameras. I would have the code, but Attuma already ordered them to change the code since my betrayal." Noctis stated. "The captain has the codes."
"I'll make him talk." Gladiolus popped his knuckles.
"That's it? Huh. That doesn't sound too hard." Prompto figured.
They could just use their ship's teleporter to get Triton out of the room. And instantly send him to one of their underwater resistance bases.
"It's not. Our real problem is Tiger Shark. He's the eyes and ears around the Palace. He has a neural link to every room. Hall and chamber inside and out of the palace. He senses everything that goes on. We can unlock doors, sneak pass and take out guards, or even poof out of the room. But if we don't get rid of Tiger Shark. We'll never get Triton out of there. If we want this rescue mission done. Get rid of Tiger Shark." Noctis said with the outmost importance of the details.
Luckily Tiger Shark has an ego bigger than his teeth and his Attuma's army badge. They might have a plan in getting rid of him. If Tiger Shark will take the bait.
"Well then, I guess we better get ourselves ready." Gladiolus said to the group. "We'll start the rescue mission at sundown."
Noctis and the others nodded before they set up the tower as a temporary safe house. Attuma may lose King Triton after this. But that won't stop him.
Attuma is close. And he will see to it, that Ultima will rise again. If it's the last thing he will ever do.
But the Maverick's allies are just as determined. And they won't stop until Attuma's reign comes to an end, and to stop whatever he has planned. They're together and they stand all the way to the end.

Also Siy Den's voice actor is Peter Renaday the same one who played Al Mualim from the first Assassin's Creed game. 😉
