Rex Salazar would be walking home after a long long day of school. He was looking at his blank career aptitude test. He sighs knowing that high school entrance exams are coming soon, and a part of him knew he wouldn't enter his school of choice ua .
" Remember I know many of you want to be part of the hero track ,and some of you all have great quirk but please remember. Not all quirks are made for the hero's life, so please take a career aptitude test to find a good field don't worry if you don't finish, you may take it home and bring it tomorrow" Rex's teacher's words echo through his mind.
Rex grip the paper in frustration" gah what does he know. Just because he's projecting doesn't mean anything. I'll show them what I'm made of and I'm going to trill them once I'm a hero" said Rex trying to calm himself
Rex heard it all his life. That quirks like his aren't cut out for hero work. It was impressive how he had small biomechanical machines in his body that gave him an okay healing factor, super durability,tech control,and tech repair
Yet even with these impressive abilities. They're not going to stop fires, stop 10 foot tall villains, save people from earthquakes, ect. Everyone tells him that he should just be a sidekick, a police officer, or maybe an engineer.
It angered him on how people shot down his dream, dismissed it, or tried to have him change his mind. Yet all he could do was lie to himself and say he was going to show them up even if he deep down knew that wasn't true. Just hoping for one day where everything will change.
Rex soon makes it down to the subway. He goes into the one that takes him home, enters, and then sits down waiting to get to his house and think on what his future could be.

Rex soon makes it home, unlocked the front door and heads inside. " Hey I'm home-" rex eyes soon go wide. He sees his brother and mother tied up in a vine. While his father was passed out on the floor with a man foot on his back.
" Rex, run, save yourself and get help!" Yelled Caesar Rex's brother " leave him out of this van kleiss! he had nothing to do with us!" Yelled violeta Rex's mother
Vines were launched forward at rex. They wrapped around him and grabbed a hold of him "now now not fair to not include all of the family" said van kleiss as he smirks
All three salazar struggle against their restraint trying to break free with no luck. " Maybe he will be more reasonable or maybe I'll damage him a bit until I get what I want" said van kleiss as the vines tightened around rex causing him to scream
Stop, stop, we'll listen, just leave him alone!" Yelled violeta "mama no !" Yelled caesar as vines cover his mouth "now now don't interrupted grown up talk" said van kleiss as he stops squeezing rex walking to violeta
Rex was panting heavily. He felt pathetic as he tried to break free. Here he was dealing in a real villain situation, and was being used as a bargaining chip.making him feel like an idiot that he could ever be a hero.
Rex thinks about what type of hero he could even be with his powers. He was hoping to be like a super sentai warrior . Fighting with a giant mech.Using his technopathic ability to control it, beat up bad guys, and become number one
Rex also hoped to fight with a signature weapon. He had an idea for a pair of giant metal hands. He called them the smack hands. He hoped they would make him as strong as all might.He wished he had them hands right now to break free, save his family,and knock van Kleiss's smug look off his face.
Seeing that smug self satisfied look made Rex furious to no end. The same look some classmates gave him when put down his dream of being his hero. With these strong emotions raging his nanites started to react to his emotions, and started to change and evolve. Going from a yellow color like his father to a blue color.
Glowing Blue panel lines form on Rex's arms,gray metal fibers forms around his arms,with two giant orange gauntlets that were half of his height form out of the metal fiber.The large hands break the vines that were tightly around him.
This new development shocked everyone in the room. Rex himself was shocked but he had no time to question this. He runs forward swinging his left smack hand forward punching van Kleiss through a wall. His gripped on the salazar weakened
" since when could you do that mi hijo ?!?!?" Asked a shocked violeta "since about like five second ago " said rex as van kleiss get back up rubbing some rubble off of him " Well this is a interesting development one which I don't want to deal with" said an annoyed van kleiss
A Crimson red portal opened up behind him " I do apologize that I have to leave so soon but don't worry I will be back " said van kleiss as he started going through the portal'' Oh no you don't!" Yelled rex attempting to grab van kleiss, but was to slow and van kleiss manage to escape
"Gah great I let him get away!" Said a frustrated rex as his giant metal fists broke down into two piles of scrap metal. Cesar puts his hand on his little bro shoulder" don't beat yourself over it mi hijo let go a call the police" said caesar as Rafael gets up from the floor rubbing head
" ¿Qué pasó aquí?" Ask a dazed Rafael " van kleiss is what happened"said Caesar"who even was that guy?" Ask Rex, " an old employee. He resigned a week ago due to an argument with dad. Guessing he went to the black market side of hero support item selling" said caesar. " or knowing that Hijo de puta he was always part of it I knew he was Shady "said violeta taking her phone out and calling the police
"Still, how did he get through the house's defenses?"Ask Rex " I don't know, we'll begin an investigation and maybe move," said Rafael. "Also mi hijo what were they giant metal fists you made?" Ask caesar. "Honestly no clue I wanted to save you all and punch that guy with a smug look off his face. Then boom I made them" said rex" we can figure that all out later I just called the cops and they will be here soon" said violeta
The police soon arrived. They started to surround the house, asking some local hero to patrol in case the villain came back, and got the salazars statements. Then the salazar leave to a hotel so the police can do a more thorough investigation

The next day Violeta, Rafael, and Caesar went to work at their company. Gen industries the greatest supplier of hero support item, quirk research, and much much more/p
They had a meeting at rafael office .were looking over van kleiss work wondering what could have broken through their advance system
"ah ha damn that clever bastard" said caesar as he looked through van kleiss resignation letter "language mind hijo! But what did you discover?" Ask violeta. " this was a Trojan horse have a program that would let him discover put house and how our security system "said caesar "cleaver but great look like we have to make a new one from scratches"said Rafael"And move I wonder how our cabeza de trapo is going yo take it " said violeta
"depends, are we moving close to ua?" Ask caesar" Well yes but you're not suggesting he's going to try for ua?"asked a concerned violeta"honey I know you are always worried,but the boy is growing up. He's becoming a man. plus if we help him master his new ability he will do great" said rafael as violeta sighs"i know we need to let him spread his wings but hero work is to dangerous" said violeta " and her can handle it" said ceasar

Later in the middle of the night. Rex sneaks off to a nearby forest. Where He would attempt to make his smack hands. He would be able to make them before they blew up and crumbled to the floor. " gah why the hell cant I get this right" said a frustrated rex " could be a design issue you did design them when you were five " said caesar starterling rex. /p
"Dude what did I say about sneaking up on me like that" said Rex and annoyed rex "and I responded that you just need better sense" said caesar as he crosses his armRex sighs and sits down on the floor " I know I just want to figure out these new abilities" said Rex"let me guess to make it into the hero course?" Ask Caesar as Rex nods
"Did mom send you to stop me? don't I'm going to make it in one way or the other" said Rex as he got up" nope i'm here to help you." Joked Caesar as Rex smiles " yes!when do we Start?" Ask rex as caesar hand rex a book about robotic and mechanical engineering " right now" said caesar
