Apollo Island: Reality Zero
"Ok, here we go. Hold tight."
Doctor Slone's words had everyone get ready as the Mothership began to beam up several small fragments of the island. Yet, Doctor Slone has secretly planted bombs on each of these islands in hopes that they would be enough to destroy the Mothership once they are beamed in. This was Operation Sky Fire.
Mothership begins to beam everyone that was a participant for the operation on the islands aboard. In a moment's notice, Naruto suddenly comes to wearing a special backpack from Doctor Slone and is imprisoned in holding cells aboard the ship. He sees a squad of alien guards in close distance, yet they didn't seem noticed him as they walk by. He wasn't alone for in each holding cell was his friends—Kiba, Akamaru, Tenten, Choji, Shikarmaru, Shino, Rock Lee, Tsunade, Shizune, Igaram, Kosuke, and Nojiko.
"They didn't arm you!" says Doctor Slone's voice through the communicator. "And troops are everywhere. They might be onto us."
For Naurto he does not need a weapon, He is a weapon and that is enough for him.
Somehow, Naruto was fully convinced of his abilities for this mission. After he got his memories back when we escaped the Loop, he discovered that he had died in the Loop more than thousands and thousands of times. The idea of living the memory of his repeated death was not something he was thrilled with. However, they were one advantage from his experiences from the Loops.
Due to begin forced to fight and survive an infinite loop of battles, had allows hid body to possess incredible muscle memory to help evolve his combat skill. Naruto has attained the full mastery of the six powers of Rokushiki, becoming formidably powerful than before. He is even able to use the Rokuogan, the secret seventh technique that far surpasses the other six primary techniques of "Rokushiki".
Even his clones are more powerful than before. All of them too were Rokushiki masters, able to use Rokuogan as well. And all of them are highly physical powerhouses, strong and fast enough to go one-on-one with Luffy if the two fight each other again.
Naruto also attained new abilities such as Kenbunshoku Haki. According to Kiba and Akamaru, Kenbunshoku Haki was a sixth sense ability that allowed him to sense the presence, strength, and emotions of others, as well as gain limited precognitive abilities. Tsunade thinks it because of his experiences in the Loop that his Kenbunshoku Haki were awakened. He was not the only one as the others also developed Kenbunshoku Haki.
Yet while confident of his abilities, Naruto knew he must be cautious. This was not the time to get cocky. Especially when he and the participants are taking part on a dangerous mission with a woman he does not trust.
"I found the abduction chamber housing the bombs," Doctor Slone informed. "Once this patrol passes, I'll get you out of here."
"She's lying!" says Minato who appeared out of nowhere in Naruto's mind. "You do know that son?"
Naruto ignored his father. He needs to focus. Focus on the mission. Focus on destroying this Mothership. Focus on getting back home to his world. Distraction can be fatal.
The energy force field of his holding cell began to evaporate. Now free, Naruto and the others begin to rush through the hallways towards their destination.
Their destination was the closed door, where on the other side was the completion of their mission. They wait for Doctor Slone to hack into the alien ships' computers to allow the door to open.
"If you get seen, get across the bridge as quickly as can," Doctor Slone advised them.
Everyone begins to pick pace and rush through the bridge as fast as possible. Yet, while rushing at a speed that can outpace normal humans, it was not enough. One of the alien drones' spots them and begins to alert the others of their presence.
"You've been spotted, keep moving!" warned Doctor Slone's voice from the communicator.
Naruto and the others rush to another room and are pinned down defenselessly by enemy fire from the troopers. Doctor Slone hacks the door ahead to seal them off. She then works on hacking another door that opens to a transport tube to continue their escape route.
"There's a transport tube up ahead, that may work!" Doctor Slone's voice tells them.
The door opens and Doctor Slone says "There, that transport tube will get you past their patrols.
The group rushes through the door, pacing through the hallway towards their destination. They leap into the transport which carries through incredible speeds. It was as if they were flying through the eye of a tornado made of light.
Yet Doctor Slone warned them "These aren't intended for organics. Let's hope that not an issue."
Yet despite Doctor Slone's warning Naruto and the others arrived safely. Doctor Slone continues to lead them through the mothership and into the main abduction chamber, going through another transport tube in the process. They finally enter a room with a shallow pool of purple liquid and large glass windows providing a clear view of the bomb-laden island chunks that have just been abducted by the mothership.
"Oh good, the bombs are in place," she says through the communicator. "I'll get things ready on my end. You keep those backpacks near the bombs."
The backpacks Naruto and the others were wearing begin to activate as Doctor Slone begins the arming process. However, without warning, the arming signal is cut off when the windows are suddenly shuttered, creating darkness within the room.
"Slone! What happened?" Tsunade demanded through the communicator.
"The signal was cut off!" Slone replied. "I'll figure this out! Just stay alive!"
After a moment of brief darkness, the Cube suddenly emerges from the pool on the floor. Naruto didn't know what it is, but he felt his Kenbunshoku Haki was getting edgy and edgy every second.
"What the hell is that?" Kiba shouted.
"It's not possible!" Slone panic. "We thought it was gone for good!"
"Slone, what is this we're looking at?" Naruto demanded.
"It's a Cube!" Slone warned them. "It's a member of a species of sentient cubes with lightning powers originated from The Last Reality. Last time it nearly destroyed this island!"
Now Naruto knew he should get worried. If this thing was as powerful as Slone feared, then he and the others were in big trouble.
"Ok, we need to hit this thing hard and fast!" Slone advised. "I need to weaponize your backpack!"
The moment she says, the unleash powerful blasts of energy to knock out some participants before weaponizing their backpacks, using them to unleash powerful energy waves that disable the cube, rendering it black.
Without a warning the windows open and Doctor Slone's voice commands "Get to the windows! We have to arm those bombs!"
Naruto and the others did as they were told, Doctor Slone resumed the arming sequence.
"Arming sequence is good." Slone's voice informed through the communicator.
With the arming sequence begin downloaded from their backpacks, the bombs were now operated and set to blow up in a few minutes.
"Ok Slone," Naruto says through the communicator. "We did as you says. Do you know a way to get us out of here?"
There was silence in the communicator until Doctor Slone's voice calmly said "You play your part! Now I had to play mine!"
"Slone! What doing?" Naruto demanded. Naruto detected a change in the tone in Slone's voice. It was calm. Too calm. As if she finally decided to drop the act. And whatever it is, it was not good.
"We are fighting a war in which we are hopelessly outgunned." She speaks. "I won't bring you home. Not if there is a chance that thing can make it back to the Island. Over and out.
It was at that moment the communicator was cut off.
Hearing that, Naruto and the others look at each other. Nodding their head, they quickly disappeared in a puff of smoke.
The moment Naruo's clones dismiss themselves, their memories were transferred back to the original. Naruto was still safe, back with the rest of his friends—Kiba, Akamaru, Tenten, Choji, Shikarmaru, Shino, Rock Lee, Tsunade, Shizune, Igaram, Kosuke, and Nojiko—at their secret base on Apollo Island.
"Well? What, happened?" Tenten asked.
Facing Shikarmaru Naruto says "You were right! Doctor Slone was untrustworthy as you say she would be. She betrayed my clones and everyone on the ship once they completed their mission."
The moment Doctor Slone contacts all the people on the island she suggests a plan on how to defeat the aliens, Operation Sky Fire. However, Shikarmaru suddenly had a feeling the woman could not be trusted. It was when he suggested Naruto to use his devil fruit powers to create clone versions of themselves to take part in Operation Sky Fire. Thanks to his experiences from the Loop Naruto was strong enough to summon three hundred clones. He was also strong enough to alter his clone's appearance and make them identical to different people.
"Now what are going to do?" says Nojiko. "How are we ever going to get home!"
"It seems like Desperate times call desperate measure," says Tsuande as she walks straight to a tied-up Harley Quinn. "Ok Harley you win! You have a deal!"
"I thought you never asked!" Harley replied with a demented tone.
"Just to be pretty clear," Shikarmaru warned Harley. "If you even think about betraying us, I'll make you regret it!"
Harly stares at Shikarmaru with a mocking, devil-may-care gaze and says "Guess you can't keep your hands off me Shadow boy! Are you asking me on a date?"
"You're not my type!" Shikarmaru declared.
"Which type?" Harley persisted.
"That's none of your business!" Shikarmaru replied, getting annoyed.
"So that means you're gay!" Harley pointed out.
"I'm not gay!" Shikarmaru snapped. "I suggested you stop talking about me and tell us how to get back to our world!"
"All right then," Harley says before she reaches into her cleavage and takes out something to show everyone this.
"What is that?" Nojiko asked.
"This is a Portal Device," Harley told them. "It's a compass that will take you back to your world."
"Like a Log Pose back on our world," Shino guesses.
"So, all we had to do was use this Portal Device to take us back to our world?" Tsuande suggested.
"Not so fast lady!" Harley says. "This Portal Device was designed to take me back home! You all need find yourself a Portal Devices designed to take you back to your home!"
"Do you know where we can kind find ourselves Portal Devices?" Naruto asked her.
"These things don't lie around for anyone to find," Harley told them. "And the only ones who know how to make them is that Slone lady who backstab you. But I know someone who might make them for you. He's been keeping a low profile since he came here. If he can help you get back to your world, then it's him you need to talk to!"
