Hello Sinners! Welcome back to another chapter as we follow Harry in his third year at Hogwarts and this thing Buckbeak was saved, we get to see Charlie in classes and how she is helping out. How will things change after in this arc? Well, let's read and find out. But first, I want to address if anyone is wondering if I play Hogwarts Legacy and the whole drama around it and if I will be adding some scenes from it to this story. The answer is no, I don't play the game, I don't plan on playing the game and this story takes place during Harry in Hogwarts. And to my knowledge, I know the game takes place years before Harry's time. So I'm not adding anything WAY before Harry's time. Thank you. Now let's answer some reviews.

Blade Claw X: Azrael is Death himself. He and the other Angels can't help directly, even though He wants to take Voldemort's soul like Luficer's and shove him down to Hell. But he will be in the story later.

Jebest4781: I'm glad we know who leads the exterminators and when they arrive. I had a feeling it would always be on New Year's but I wanted to ensure. If you mean the Von Eldrich, they play a small part and Vaggie died in 2014. The current timeline is 2013-2014, so Charlie will meet her sometime before or during the Goblet of Fire.

G-mandoes-existed: It's a mix of Books and Movies. I might choose the book version over the movie and vice versa.

Perseus12: Somebody had to do it. And Charlie needs to get involved in events good or bad.

Nathair1: I still have to make Malfoy a dick but he gets his just desserts for being a dick. As for Harry being an Animagus, if canon, a deer like his dad. Suppose it was my choice since he's the Prince of Hell, a snake, or a dragon.

Joanne Frances Tiano Cajilig: Had to give Harry some sort of fear of the exterminator angels since he grew up in Hell and saw what they could do. Also, the Dementors reminded him of them, only they suck your soul. So a combo was needed. Besides, this gives it some good visuals to imagine.

Hedie Begley (Chapter 12): That is a good question. I don't want to give too much of a spoiler but let's say for argument's sake Lucifer is aware of the blood ritual and if Voldemort were to use Harry's blood, Voldemort would have both powers of a Fallen Seraphim and the Mother of Monsters and just as hard to kill.

And without further adieu, let's dive into Hell!

Chapter 28: The Fat Lady's Fright

A few days have passed since the news of Sirius Black being spotted in Dufftown. Harry was keeping to his studies at school and passing his classes. It seems that Defense Against the Dark Arts class was the most well-liked class this year as Professor Lupin taught everyone about all sorts of creatures like the goblinoid Red Caps and the aquatic demons from Japan known as Kappa. Aside from Lupin's classes, Hagrid's lessons for Care for Magical Creatures were pretty popular among the students that took them. While Hagrid was always eager to show some of the more dangerous beasts, Charlie was always by his side to keep things under control. This included putting Malfoy on a tight leash so he didn't hurt himself or others to get Hagrid in trouble.

Speaking of Charlie, her being a teacher's aide was a breeze since nearly everyone liked her, and the students went to her if they needed help understanding a lesson or a spell.

Though Harry did regret taking Divination since Professor Trelawney kept looking at Harry in concern, as if he was going to die any minute. 'I should have taken Ancient Ruins instead,' Harry thought, but he bared with it nonetheless. He wrote to his parents and his friends in Hell that even though a serial killer was on the loose, he did get the chance to tell them the good things about this year and how it was an improvement over the previous years.

October came around and there was one thing Harry looked forward to the entire year, Quidditch. The only bad thing about it was that Oliver Wood, the captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, was going to push them hard since this was his last year in Hogwarts and he wanted to be sure to win the Quidditch House Cup before graduating. He gathered the team up one morning on the field with their brooms.

"Alright, as some of you know, this is my last year at school. But if I'm being honest with myself, we should have won it last year," Oliver told his six fellow teammates.

"Don't beat yourself up, Wood. No one expected a great giant snake to attack the school and petrify the students, Filtch's cat, and even a ghost. Honestly, it was kinda creepy. Like he was dead again," Fred told the seventh year.

"Kinda makes you wonder how a ghost can die again," George told his twin. "But like you said Wood, this is going to be our year! Harry's caught every Snitch since he was on the team."

"You got that right, Georgie. Ever since Harry joined, we haven't lost," Fred smirked and patted a hand on Harry's shoulder.

"Just doing what I do best. The only reason we haven't won everything is because of the situations I ended up in between games," Harry told Fred and the team. "But yeah, we have the best team in the school. Let's win that Cup!"

Everyone on the Gryffindor team cheered as they prepared for practice. "Now I don't want to rely on just Harry. I want the Chasers going at it three times as hard. Try your damndest to get those shots past me," Wood instructed. As the team took flight, Harry was determined to help out his team and actually finish a season of Quidditch.

During the evening of Mid-October, Harry returned with the team to the common room as their housemates were buzzing excitedly. "What's going on," Harry asked Ron and Hermione who were sitting near the two most comfortable chairs near the fireplace.

"The first Hogsmeade trip date has been announced," Ron told his best friend as he pointed to the bulletin board that was hanging up. "It's going to be around the end of the month."

"Excellent! I need to visit Zonko's. I'm nearly out of Stick Pellets," said Fred as he was next to Harry.

"I can't wait to go," Harry exclaimed as he needed a change of scenery. He didn't mind Hogwarts, but even he needed to get out of the castle. He thought of the shops he could visit and buy for his parents and friends in Hell. Heck, since he was out of Hogwarts, the girls might be able to visit him in town since he doesn't need permission from the staff if they were outside. What could possibly go wrong?

Everything. Everything went wrong as soon as Harry went to get his permission slip to give Professor McGonagall. "Where is it!? Where the fuck is it!?" Harry cursed as he was looking through his luggage, tossing his clothing and stuff across the room. "I know I had it with me!"

"Harry, calm down," Ron told his friend as he looked at his best friend in a panic.

"I'M COMPLETELY CALM," Harry yelled, making the red-haired wizard take a step back. The Prince of Hell realized what he had done and took a breath. "Sorry, Ron, I know my dad signed the paper and I had it with me when I left home."

"Well, when was the last time you had it?"

"Let's see…" Harry thought back to when his dad signed his papers, then he remembered he put it on his desk in his room. After that, he used the book to teleport from home to England and that was the last time he remembered it. But he swore he had it next to him. Suddenly, the realization hit Harry like a punch to the face. When he used the book to get from Hell to the human world papers were flying all around his room and one of them must have been his permission slip. "Son of a bitch! I left it at home!"

"Maybe you can write a letter to your folks about it and you can go to the next one. Or McGonagall can give you a spare one and have your sister sign you," Ron said thinking about how to get Harry out of the castle.

"I doubt that McGonagall would let that happen. If anything, Charlie would have to accompany me on our trip and stay glued to my hip," Harry stated. "But I'll give it a shot," the Prince of Hell said as he marched to Professor McGonagall's office.

After a few minutes, Harry reached the office and saw the Head of Gryffindor was grading papers. The Transfiguration teacher soon looked up to see Harry standing in front of her. "How can I help you, Magne," she asked while taking off her glasses.

"I was wondering if you could sign me a new permission slip to go to Hogsmeade," Harry said. "I forgot mine at home when I left for London."

"Oh, that is bad news," McGonagall said. "However, I'm afraid that only a parent or guardian may sign a permission slip to let you go to the village."

"I was afraid of that," Harry grumbled.

"And the last time I checked, your sister isn't considered a legal guardian for you. I'm afraid that you'll need to have your family send you the slip you forgot at home or sign a new one if they were to visit. But with the current situation, we'll be limited visits for this year," McGonagall told Harry. "I'm very sorry that you'll miss out on your first trip into Hogsmeade, but I'm sure that you'll be able to stop by there eventually."

"Hopefully," Harry sighed.

"I'll try and arrange something for you on that weekend if your mother and father can't send the papers to you," McGonagall told him.

"I'll inform them right away," Harry said as he left the room and returned to Gryffindor tower. On the way back, Harry picked up his Hellphone and tried to contact his parents but didn't get a response. "Dammit, hopefully, they get my message," he muttered to himself as he waited for the beep. "Hi, Mom and Dad, I know you must be busy, but I ended up forgetting my permission slip for Hogsmeade back home in my rush. It should be in my room somewhere if the servants didn't throw it away. Hope to see you soon, bye," he said, then ended the call. As he advanced toward Gryffindor Tower Harry passed by the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom and saw something strange.

Inside the DADA classroom was Lupin speaking to Snape about something. They were quiet, so Harry couldn't make out what they were saying at the start, but listened closely and managed to hear the tail end of their conversation. "Here, Lupin," Snape said as he handed the DADA teacher a goblet with some liquid that was smoking blue. "I managed to make an entire caldron if you need any more," he said before he strolled out of the classroom. When he did, he immediately spotted Harry. "What are you doing wandering about, Magne?"

"Just got out of Professor McGonagall's office, I needed to ask her something about my permission slip for Hogsmeade since I forgot it at home," Harry told the Potion teacher.

There was a long silence until Snape spoke. "Then you might want to continue down your path. Otherwise, I will be convinced you're up to no good like the last two years and have to give you detention," he warned the teenager as he walked off leaving his black robes flowing behind him like ink spilling on a canvas.

"Harry, is that you? Please, come in," Professor Lupin asked as he gestured for Harry to enter. Seeing no use in hiding, Harry stepped in and slowly walked toward the teacher standing a few feet from him. "Don't look so tense now. You're not in trouble. I just thought we could have a chat is all. Though, I have to say why are you up so late in the first place?"

Feeling more relaxed now, Harry gave him the same explanation as McGonagall and Snape. "I realized I left my permission slip to Hogsmeade at home. I asked Professor McGonagall if I could have another."

"Ah, I see. Since you're going to be in the castle around that first trip, why not come to my office?"

"Sure, I don't have anything else to do besides see my sister and Hagrid," Harry told him as he walked back to his dorm.

Later on, Halloween arrived and Harry was seeing his friends and classmates off to Hogsmeade for the day. "We'll be sure to bring you some sweets back," Ron told his best friend.

"It's fine. You just enjoy your time there," Harry said waving his friends off as they started to go with everyone who was going to the village. The Prince of Hell walked back into the castle, hoping that his parents got his message. 'Seems a good time to meet with Professor Lupin now,' he thought to himself. There were a few things Harry wanted to ask the man, which included why he stepped into the way of the boggart. It seemed a good time to ask him since he was on his way there. As Harry was nearing the classroom, he saw Professor Lupin move a large tank of water with his wand and what looked to be A sickly green creature with sharp little horns had its face pressed against the glass, pulling faces and flexing its long, spindly fingers. It reminded Harry of the demons that lurk in the oceans the Envy ring. "Professor, what is that?"

"It's called a Grindylow, it's a water demon. Thought it would be a good idea to show on our next lesson," Lupin told the Prince of Hell. "Mind giving me a hand with the tank?"

Harry nodded as he pulled out his wand and used the levitation charm to lift the tank a few inches off the ground, giving Lupin a better hand at placing the tank where it needed to be.

"Well done, Harry. Please do sit down," Lupin said as he gestured for Harry to take a sit across from him. "I took the liberty of making tea. Might well have some company since you can't go to Hogsmeade just yet," Lupin said as he poured Harry and himself a cup.

"How did you-"

"Professor McGonagall told me. You're not worried about are you," Lupin asked the teenage Gryffindor.

"Not really," Harry told his professor as he sipped some tea. "But I do have something I wanted to ask you. Back in the Boggart lesson, why did you step in front of me?"

"I thought it'd be obvious that it would take the shape of Voldemort from the colors I saw," Lupin answered him. This was a surprise to Harry since he was one of the few to say Voldemort's name out loud besides Dumbledore, his parents, and Charlie.

"You don't have to worry about that, I'm not scared of Voldemort. I thought of something much scarier, but then I remembered the Dementor on the train. Then, I guess the two things I feared the most fused together," Harry told his professor.

"I am impressed, Harry. What you feared most was fear itself. Very wise," Lupin said to him.

"There's something else I noticed when I was attacked by the Dementor. I heard something. A woman screaming," Harry told him as he through back to the train right to Hogwarts. "Thinking back on it, I think it was the night my birth mother was killed."

"Dementors force us to relive our very worse memories. Their power comes from our pain. So the night Lily died was one of the most painful you've known. Even if you didn't know it at the time," Lupin told the young wizard.

"That explains it," Harry said as he realized something. "Hang on… How did you know my mother's name was Lily?"

Lupin smiled as he looked at his tea and then at Harry. "Mainly because you have her eyes. I'll be honest with you, Harry. I could tell who you were when I got a good look at you. You look just like your father, James. He and I were very close friends during our time here at Hogwarts."

"Wait, you and my parents were classmates," Harry asked as he was flabbergasted. "Were you in the same year?"

"We were. Your mother was a gifted witch for her age. She was there for me when I needed it most. She saw the beauty in others, especially when that person could not see it for themselves. As for James, well… he had a talent for getting into trouble. A talent he somehow passed on to you," Lupin said.

"Kinda wished I got to know them," Harry admitted as he took a big gulp of tea. "But then again, I'm glad for the family that raised me."

"That's right. Dumbledore did tell me that you were adopted by people he knew. What are they like, if I may ask?"

"Where should I begin," Harry remarked as he scratched the back of his neck. His professor did seem trustworthy since the man knew of his biological parents. But how would he react to knowing that he was adopted by the Devil and his family? For now, he will tell him what he told both Ron and Hermione. "Well, both of my parents are American. They come from a magic family but decided to live the Muggle life. My mom, Lilith, travels the world with her band. As for my dad, Luke, he's a warden at a prison."

"That seems a hard-working life being a warden to muggles," Lupin commented. "As for a band, I'm sure you're mother is very busy."

"Yeah, but she makes sure to bring presents from places she visits," Harry added. "In fact, it's my 12th Gotcha Day."

"Harry," Charlie called out as she spotted Harry talking to his professor. "Oh, Professor Lupin. Am I interrupting something?"

"No, we were just talking about Mom and Dad. Said it was the day Mom found me as a baby," Harry told his sister.

"Great timing," Charlie said as she pulled out a brown box from behind her back. "Happy Gotcha Day, little brother! Mom got you something from her trip."

"She never forgets, even if it's days late," Harry smiled as he took the box, opened it with his shrunken holy sword, and took out the card that came with it before seeing what she got him.

"Happy Gotcha Day, Harry!

Like always I got you some souvenirs on my trip, I hope you enjoy them.

Love you always, Mom."

Harry smiled at the letter and dug into the box and pulled out the first item was a jewel on a chain. "Mom got me a Carbuncle's Garnet from Chile," he exclaimed excitedly. "They're pretty good with magic if you can get them willingly from what I read," he added as he dug through the box more and pulled out a snake statue. "Sam as a Lladro figurine. Well, smaller now," he laughed as he pulled out the last item, which was a full box set of manga. "The Hellsing manga in its original text!" Harry took the first volume and started to read it. "This makes up the Hogsmeade trip."

"Seems like your mother knows what you like," Lupin told Harry. "Well, it was nice to know you have a family that cares for you, Harry. I'm sure that you'll get more things from your friends as they return from their trip."

"Right," Harry said sheepishly as he put away his gifts. "I'll spend some more time with you when I have the chance, Professor. I'd love to hear more about my birth parents," he said leaving his office.

"Take care now," Lupin waved him off as he turned to Charlie. "Do me a favor Charlie and watch over your brother."

"Always," the Princess of Hell told the DADA teacher. "But I have to let him have room to wander around. I can't baby him forever. He has to stand on his own someday. It's just not gonna be today," she said as watched Harry leave the room, still reading the manga as he used a Levitation Charm to carry the rest of his package with him.

"Here you go," said Ron as he dropped some sweets on Harry's lap as they were all in the Great Hall. "We carried as much as we could. Too bad you had to stay here. I bet you would have liked it."

"It's fine, Mom sent me some stuff when you two were out," Harry said showing off his new gem on a chain.

"Is that a Carbuncle's Garnet," Hermione asked as Harry spun the gem by its chain. "How did she even get one?"

"I have no idea, but Mom finds a way," Harry said as he started to feed Sam some of the candy Ron gave him.

"The next time we go, we'll take you to the Three Broomsticks and have a butterbeer first, then make our way from there," Ron said as he planned a tour for his friend.

"Why does that sound like it has alcohol," Harry asked. He figured it was something like root beer, but was curious still the same.

"Well, only a slight amount according to what Hermione asked the waitress. It's more like drinking butterscotch," Ron told his friend. "Oh, another thing. One place we have to take you is the Shrieking Shack. It's said to be the most haunted building in Britain."

"I would love to see that. I like haunted places," Harry said as he had no trouble with it in Hell.

Moments later, Crookshanks jumped onto the table and then onto Ron's lap, digging his claws into him. As soon as the cat did, Scabbers jumped out of Ron's pocket and ran across the table. Many of the Gryffindors hoisted their plates up to keep their food go flying from what would be compared to a Tom and Jerry chase scene. "Scabbers! Leave him alone you furball!"

Harry felt Sam leave him and darted under the table. Many students lifted their legs as they felt the great snake slither under the table. Samuel heard both Scabbers and Crookshanks above him and sped up to get ahead. Once Sam was a good foot ahead, he went up on the table and stood in front of Scabbers hissing madly at the rat. "Where do you think you're running off to," he hissed as the rat felt cornered now that he had the white serpent in front of him while that cat was in the back.

Both Harry and Hermoine picked up their pets as Ron ran to grab his rat, "Scabbers, are you okay?" he asked his pet as it shivered. "I'm warning you, Hermione, if that cat ever gets near him, I'll turn it into a scarf for Mum!"

"I'm surprised he didn't say anything to me,' Sam hissed to his master.

"Don't think I didn't see you were wanting to eat him," Harry told the horned snake.

"Master, that rat's been acting very odd as of late. " Since the dementors' attack, it's been wanting to run away ever since," Sam hissed.

"I think some time with Charlie will do you some good," Harry told his pet as he made him go into the bag he was given for his birthday before his first year at Hogwarts.

After that mishap, all of the students were headed to their dormitories for the night. But as they did, Harry, Ron, and Hermione saw that the way to the Gryffindor dorms was blocked by a crowd of students. "What's going on over there?"

"Neville probably forgot the password again," Ron chuckled. But when he said that, Neville poked the red-haired wizard from behind with an unamused look, which surprised Ron. "But if you're here, what's going on over there," the redhead asked as he saw Percy making his way past the crowd

"Excuse me, Head Boy coming through," Percy said, pushing students aside.

Just as the trio were squeezing through, Ron's younger sister Ginny doubled back from the front of the crowd, squeezing by to reach her brothers and told them what she saw. "The Fat Lady… She's gone!"

"What," Percy, Harry, and the other third years exclaimed. They made their way through and saw that claw marks scratched up the portrait where the Fat Lady took residence. Many of the pictures looked worried, and some were scared. Sir Cadogan jumped through the pictures with his very large sword drawn, ready to face whatever threat did the damage.

"What's going on," Dumbledore asked as he arrived, hearing of the commotion from the stairwell. As everyone saw the Headmaster of the school with Filch beside him, they stepped aside to let them through. Dumbledore examined the painting and saw something did attack the Fat Lady's picture frame, or at least tried to. "Round up the ghosts, Mr. Filch. We'll search every painting in the castle until we can find the Fat Lady."

"No need, Professor. The Fat Lady is right there," Filch said, pointing at a painting as everyone's eyes followed.

"I see her!"

"There she is!"

"I see the Fat Lady!"

Many students noticed who they were looking for and they pushed through to reach where they saw her. Percy tried to control the crowd but ultimately failed. Luckily, everyone gave room for Dumbledore to move around as they were all in front of a picture of hippos on a safari plane. The Fat Lady was in tears as her hair was a mess and mascara was running down her face while she hid behind one of the hippos. "Dear lady, who could have done this to you?" Dumbledore asked.

"Eyes like the Devil! It's him, Headmaster! He's somewhere in this castle! Sirius Black is somewhere in the castle," The Fat Lady cried as she hid behind the hippo once more.

This made all of the students gasp in fear knowing that Sirius Black was closer than they thought possible. Dumbledore stood quietly as he muttered to Filch. "Alert all the teachers at once and gather all the students to the Great Hall. We're on tight lockdown."

All the students immediately followed their upperclassmen and the teachers to the Great Hall. As they did, Harry was confused by how exactly Sirius Black was able to get into the school. It wasn't like he could apparate into the school since it had protection from that. Maybe he made a deal with a demon and he was given that ability. 'Kinda wish Loona was here. All she has to do is sniff his name and he could easily be found.' He thought to himself as the many tables were magically moved aside to allow for a wider space for the students to sleep for the night. With a wave of Dumbledore's wand, he made hundreds of sleeping bags for the students to sleep in.

"I want all of the teachers to search the castle and have the Prefects stand guard," he told all the able bodies. "Also the Head Boy and Head Girl are in charge of all the students and the ghosts are to join the patrol."

After ten minutes, the lights were out and everyone was in their sleeping bags fast asleep. Harry, on the other hand, couldn't sleep as the thought of Black was fresh into his mind. Hours passed and the teachers passed by and saw them asleep. Harry pretended to sleep as he heard both Dumbledore and Charlie muttering to one another. "I have to hand it to Black. He somehow snuck in and out of here like he was a ghost," Charlie told the Headmaster while they walked the halls. "Any theories on how he got in?"

"A few but every time I think about it, I get an answer that seems far more perplexing than the question," Dumbledore said as Harry listened to their conversation.

"And what about the students? You don't think they will close down the school for this," Charlie asked as she didn't want her first year as a teacher's aide to be her last year.

"I doubt that. Though I am willing to let the students return home. After all, Harry would be safe with your parents since he is well taken care of. I think it's best he goes home for the Christmas Holiday. At least until Sirius Black is captured," Dumbledore said as he and Charlie were by Harry. "For in dreams, we enter a world that is entirely our own. May they swim across the deepest of oceans or fly above the highest clouds."

"I'll tell our parents about what happened. They will want him to be safe at home for now. Or Dad will barge in here with the hottest hellfire in his eyes as he's ready to rip off Sirius Black's head and beat him to death with it. And Mom… don't get me started on what she'd do to him," Charlie tells Dumbledore.

"At least we understand that everyone's safety is paramount," Dumbledore said to the Princess of Hell. "In a few days' time, things will be as they were."

"I hope so," Charlie exclaimed as she and the Headmaster walk to into the hall for another sweep of the castle as Harry actually began to fall asleep. As she walked away, Charlie couldn't help but ask herself the same question Harry had before he went to sleep. Just what was Harry's connection to Sirius Black?

And this should be a good spot to end it. I want to thank WaterDragonMaverick for editing and suggestions. I know it's not a big change like the previous chapter, but it will build up and we'll get to a new scene. Until then, I will see all of you in Hell!
