Hello Sinners! And Welcome back to another chapter. I hope you're all excited about this chapter, cause the biggest change from canon starts here! As you know Harry and Hermione go back in time in 3 hours in canon. So why else is going back in time with them? And will it be 3 hours like the original? Or will it be more or less? Well, you have to read and find out the differences. Anyway, let's answer some reviews.

Guest: Indeed, Vaggie is not fond of men, but Harry may be an exception since he's her brother and he's mature about it.

Joanne Frances Tiano Cajilig: that will come at a much later date.

Perseus12: Yep.

G-mandoes-existed: Your answer will be explained in this chapter.

CaioCoia: Sorry but it was Harry. But there is a change from Canon.

And so Let's Dive into Hell!

Chapter 34: The Time Turner

Harry felt groggy, but soon opened his eyes and began to take in his surroundings. Seeing the familiar beds and cabinets, he noticed he was in the Hospital Wing of Hogwarts. 'Oh yeah. I passed out before Dad came and got us,' he thought to himself. 'If it wasn't for him Sirius and me…' It was at that moment that Harry remembered that his godfather was in danger the last time he saw him. "Sirius," he shouted and bolted upright. When he did, he was quick to see that his vision was still blurry because he wasn't wearing his glasses. Just then, somebody next to him handed him his glasses that were next to the bed. Once he put them on, he saw the red eyes of his sister staring back at him. "Charlie? Where's Sirius?"

"Harry… He's been captured," Charlie told him as he got out of bed. "Dad, Dumbledore, Snape, and some people from the ministry carried you two away from the lake. They locked him up in the west tower until Fudge comes and orders the Dementors to perform the Kiss."

"They're going to kill him!?"

"Worse than that, Harry," Hermione said when stepped up to his bedside. The Prince of Hell saw that she was next to Ron's bed and that his leg was in a cast. "They're going to suck out his soul."

"I'm not gonna let that happen again," Harry said, quickly leaving his hospital bed and about to run out the door. Suddenly, the doors opened and he saw that Professor Dumbledore came through with his silver robes flowing behind him.

"Headmaster, you have to stop them! They have the wrong man," Hermione pleaded.

"She's right, Professor! Sirius is innocent," Charlie told him.

"It was Scabbers who did it," Ron added while still in bed.

"Scabbers," Dumbledore asked as he and everyone else looked at the redhead wizard.

"He's my rat, sir. Well, he was my rat, but he wasn't a rat. He was my brother Percy's rat, then it turned out he's a man who turned himself into a rat…" Ron continued to drag on as everyone started to drown him out.

"Ron's rat was a man by the name of Peter Pettigrew who betrayed my parents that night and killed all those Muggles so that Sirius would get the blame," Harry explained.

"We're all witnesses, we can clear his name," Charlie said.

"I understand, Ms. Magne. However, your word and three teenagers will not convince Fudge and the Ministry without hard evidence to back you up," Dumbledore pointed out. "A child's voice may be honest and true, but is meaningless to those who've forgotten to listen," he said, gently patting Ron's bad leg. "Time sure is a mysterious and powerful thing. And when meddled with, it can be dangerous. Sirius Black is in the top tower of the castle. Fudge should be here in about fifteen minutes," the headmaster said as he turned around to face Hermione. "You know the laws, Ms. Granger. You must not be seen and find what you need around this last chime. By doing so, more than one innocent life will be spared tonight. Three times should do it," he said with a twinkle in his eye before leaving. "It's best if you retrace your steps. Good luck," he said before closing the door and leaving.

"What the bloody hell was that all about," Ron asked in confusion.

"Sorry about this, Ron. You're the only one that can't walk, so we'll have to do this without you," Hermione told the red-haired wizard before taking out a necklace that had an hourglass on it. After she pulled it out, she had Harry and Charlie stand close to her as she turned the hourglass three times. Harry and Charlie were shocked to see people moving backward through the Hospital Wing, which included doubles of themselves and even Ron being carried in. After that surprise, the room was now empty and the three looked around before Hermione began putting away the necklace. Ron wasn't in his bed, the sun was only just setting, and Harry noticed that his pocket watch was off by three hours.

"What happened? And where's Ron," Charlie asked as she looked around the room.

"That's what I want to know," Harry said doing the same as his sister.

Hermione ignored both of them as she looked at the time. "It's 7:30. Where were we at 7:30?"

"We were at Hagrid's. Why," Harry asked before she suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled him toward the exit. As they ran, Charlie was right behind them. "Hermione, what are you doing? Where are we going?"

"Outside of Hagrid's. But we can't be seen," Hermione said as they went out of the castle and headed to Hargrid's hut. Instead of taking the stone steps down, the three of them went down the small hill toward the Forbidden Forest.

"Why are we going this way," Charlie asked the bushy-haired girl as they hid behind Hagrid's giant pumpkins.

"Take a look," Hermione whispered towards the Prince and Princess of Hell. They took a peek and saw another Harry, Ron, and Hermione inside the hut with Hagrid serving them tea.

"How is that even possible? That's us, but we are right here," Harry asked in confusion. That was when he remembered what just happened and how the night turned to dusk. "We went back in time, didn't we?"

"We did, Harry," Hermione said as she pulled out the necklace she had before. "This is a Time-Turner. Professor McGonagall gave it to me before the first term. That's how I've been getting to all my extra classes this year. Professor Dumbledore wanted us to travel back in time in three hours to change something."

"He wants us to prove that Sirius is innocent," Charlie said as she looked through the window and saw Hagrid give Ron his rat back. The Princess of Hell eyed her brother for a moment and she quickly grabbed the sleeves of his shirt and pulled him down and gave him a lecture. "Harry, no. I know what you're thinking, but you can't just run in and grab him," Charlie whispered.

"You expect me to just sit here and do nothing," Harry whispered back with venom in his voice as he tugged her off him, but Hermione pulled him down as well before both women had an iron grip on him.

"You have to for now. If you go in there right now and see your other self, it will cause a paradox and who knows what will happen," Charlie told him as this was code for God stepping in and fixing the problem by either setting time straight or removing Harry from existence.

"She's right, Harry. We have to stay hidden, no matter the cost," Hermione said as she saw that Buckbeak was in the pumpkin patch. Seconds later, the chase with Sam started as the white serpent tried to snatch the rat while Ron chased after them.

"Ron, come back," the past Harry yelled as he and past Hermione went after him.

"So now what do we do? Should we follow them? I mean us… I hate time travel," Harry muttered.

"I don't know, but let me go first," Charlie told them as she popped out from the pumpkin patch and crept up the foot of the hill.

"Charlie? What are you doing here," Hagrid's voice made the Princess of Hell freeze up as she slowly turned to face the half-giant.

'The rule was not to be spotted. Wait, I wasn't with them at that time. I was with Lupin. I have an excuse,' she thought as she had to come up with something. "I was going to get Harry and the others since it's getting late. Have you seen them?"

"Yeah, they were heading towards the castle. Your brother's snake chased after Ron's rat. Do you know what that's about," Hagrid asked the Princess of Hell.

"No idea. Thanks for letting me know," Charlie said forcing a smile. "Do you mind if I borrow Buckbeak? You know how Harry and his friends get when trouble looks for them."

"That's true. Alright, but be back in a few hours," Hagrid said as he shut the door.

"Thank you," Charlie said as she saw the half-giant go back into his hut and approached Buckbeak. The Princess of Hell gave the Hippogriff a bow before she approached him. After he bowed back, she went up to him and undid his chains. "Come on, Buckbeak. Let's go," she said as she pulled the chain, but he wasn't moving. "Bucky, come on," she tugged a little harder but the hippogriff was getting annoyed. Charlie stopped to make sure he didn't get angry, then snapped her fingers as she remembered the beast's favorite snack. Seeing some of the weasels nearby for feeding Buckbeak, Charlie grabbed them and made sure the hippogriff noticed. "Mmm, yummy mongoose," she said as Buckbeak stood up and trotted towards the Princess of Hell. "Good boy," she said tossing the dead mammal towards him to eat. "Alright, there's more where that came from. Now follow Auntie Charlie," she said, leading Buckbeak as Harry and Hermione followed closely. The four of them stayed close as they ventured into the Forbidden Forest. Harry grabbed onto Buckbeak's chain as Charlie and Hermione lured him to where they could get a good enough view. "So what do we do now?"

"We wait until we find a way to prove Sirius is innocent," Hermione said as they got closer to where they could keep a good distance from the Whomping Willow.

"There's me and Lupin," Charlie said as both the past version of herself and the DADA teacher approached the stunned tree and went in through the tunnel.

"Now, we wait," Harry said as he sat down staring at the tree. Charlie and Hermione agreed and sat next to him.

An hour passed as the three of them looked at the tree and saw some bats fly out of the forest. They noticed Buckbeak eating some of them as they flew passed.

"At least someone's enjoying their meal," Hermione commented as Harry and Charlie agreed.

Thinking about the events that happened before, Harry remembered the last thing he saw before he woke up in the hospital. "When I was down by the lake with Sirius, I saw something or someone drive off the Dementors and killed some of them," Harry told both girls.

"Dumbledore did say that a powerful Patronus and Hellfire Spell were seen where you two were," Charlie said.

"I think it was Dad. He killed those Dementors," Harry said.

"That's impossible. Dad was with Dumbledore when I called him over to get to you," Charlie told her little brother.

"I'm just telling you what I saw," Harry told them.

"Here we come," Hermione told them as all three of them got up and saw that they were getting out of the tunnel from the Whomping Willow.

"What are you and Sirius talking about," Charlie asked Harry as she saw that they were talking among themselves.

"About how he escaped Azkaban and… we were about to talk about Mom, Dad, and you," Harry admitted to him.

"Did you?"

"No, I was gonna until-" Harry was interrupted as the next thing the three of them saw happened fast. They witnessed Lupin's transformation, Pettigrew's escape, and Sirius protecting the kids by fighting Lupin. "Let's go," he said running to somewhere where they could see Sirius, Lupin, and past Harry.

They saw Lupin turn to past Harry as the teenager was about to shoot him. Thinking the teenager was about to be a werewolf's dinner, Hermione howled towards Lupin like a wolf. "What are you doing?"

"Saving your life," Hermione told him as she howled again.

"Thanks, but I was prepared," Harry said as he saw Lupin coming their way. "And now he's coming towards us."

"I didn't think that through," Hermione admitted as she, Harry, and Charlie ran deeper into the woods to avoid the werewolf.

Harry prepared himself as he pulled out his Pepperbox, checking to see if he still had the one pellet left. "Harry, what are you doing?! You're not planning to shoot him with that are you?" Hermione asked in a whisper.

"It's a precaution. Plus, this shot is the fire ant pellet I shot Malfoy with," Harry whispered back, avoiding their turned professor.

The three of them backed away as they heard his growling. "He sounds close. Really close," Charlie said as Harry and Hermione froze. "He's right behind me, isn't he?"

They nodded as the Princess of Hell slowly turned back and saw Lupin snarling at them three. Before the werewolf could do anything, Buckbeak tackled him and followed through with a powerful strike of his beak. The hippogriff then struck Lupin in the face with his talons, scratching his arm badly. Buckbeak stood on his hind legs with his wings spread to intimidate the werewolf by appearing far bigger. With his beastly instincts kicking in, Lupin backed away from Buckbeak and ran off deeper into the forest.

The Hippogriff turned around to check if the three of them were okay after scaring off Lupin. "Thanks, Buckbeak," Harry told him as put away his pepperbox pistol. "I honestly feel sorry for Professor Lupin. He's having a really hard night," he said as he watched the werewolf runoff. Suddenly, he felt a cold breeze as an ominous wind blew their way. Daring to look up, Harry, Hermione, and Charlie saw at least a hundred dementors flying in one direction. "They're heading towards the lake. Come on!"

The trio ran as fast as they could to follow the Dementors, then reached the other side of the lake in the woods. They saw Past Harry and Sirius as the Dementors were draining away their happiness. "This is horrible," Charlie said as she wanted to step in, but that meant being spotted once more.

"Don't worry. Dad's coming. He's going to appear right there," Harry said while pointing at the spot he remembered the spells that defeated the Dementors coming from.

"Harry, nobody's coming," Hermione told him as she could hardly stand and watch the torture that was in front of her.

"He'll come, I know it," Harry assured himself as he waited for Lucifer to appear and save them both.

Charlie and Hermione waited as they continue to see past Harry and Sirius in pain before they watched the fugitive's soul emerge from his body. As the attack on his past self continued, Harry kept waiting and looking for any sign of his father. But when he saw Sirius start to lose his soul, he finally realized that Charlie and Hermione were right. "I can't take it anymore! I'm not going to let my little brother die and lose a family member," Charlie yelled as she was about to step up. That was when Harry ran right to the spot he pointed at and took out his wand. "Harry, what are you doing!?"

"Expecto Patronum!" Harry shouted as he pointed his wand at the Demontor swarm. With a flash of light from the tip of his wand, a stag made of silver light emerged and ran toward the Dementors, knocking them away. The Dementors were hit hard as some of them flipped through that air and tried to escape since they couldn't affect the animalistic Patronus. "You're not getting away that easily," Harry growled in anger. "ALCRETE AVAVAGO!" He shouted the spell and raging flames in the shape of a dragon blasted out of his wand. The beast roared and charged at the Dementors, incinerating them into ash on impact. The remaining Dementors retreated as they didn't want to suffer Harry's wrath. The Prince of Hell saw both his Patronus and his Hellfire spirit slowly approach him, then recalled the final member of the Mauraders. "Prongs," he said, reaching out to the silver deer. He turned to the dragon as he stepped toward it. "Dad was with me," he told himself before he saw his past self lose consciousness. Harry quickly ran back toward the trees to get out of sight. As he did, he and the girls saw Dumbledore, Lucifer, past Charlie, Snape, and members of the Ministry of Magic show up. Seeing the two out cold, the adults began to take Harry and Sirius where they needed to go. "You were right. Dad didn't kill those Dementors, I did it," he told both girls. "I knew I could do it because I did it before. Does that make sense?"

"Sort of," Charlie said as she figured he was only the few that knew the Hellfire Spell. "Now, we just need to find a way to get Sirius off the hook. And the best way is if we have Pettigrew. But we don't know where he ran off to or if Sam caught him."

As if on cue, the white snake slithered towards the group, his jaw unhinged with bulging cheeks and a long bald tail sticking out of his mouth. "You caught him," Harry said gleefully as they now had the true culprit.

"We should get back to the castle," Hermione told them.

"And the best way is to fly," Harry said as he allowed his snake to wrap around his shoulders. The Prince of Hell quickly got on Buckbeak with Charlie in the middle and Hermione riding in the rear. With the urging from Harry, the hippogriff took off to the skies. Hermione screamed as she wasn't a fan of flying while both the Prince and Princess of Hell enjoyed the cool air hitting their faces. They circled the tower where Sirius would be held and stopped by. "Don't worry, Sirius. We're getting you your justice."

"How," the convict asked as Sam popped out of Harry's shirt with Pettigrew still in his mouth. "You caught him!"

"Yeah. We'll see you in a few minutes. Just hang in there," Harry told him as he got back on Buckbeak and they flew towards the courtyard.

"I'm gonna return Bucky to Hagrid's. I'll catch up with you in a little bit," Charlie said as she went towards Hagrid's hut while Harry and Hermione headed back into the castle. On the chime of the clock, they both ran towards the hospital wing and saw Dumbledore leaving from there.

"We did it, sir, we have the evidence," Harry told him as Charlie ran behind them a few seconds later.

"Very good. Just wait in the Hospital Wing for a moment," Dumbledore smiled as he walked out to tell Lucifer and Fudge that Harry was awake and got information.

The trio opened the doors to the infirmary and just managed to see themselves go back in time. "How did you get there," Ron asked, pointing at the present trio. "Weren't you just there? And now you're there."

"We'll explain later. For now, we have to clear Sirius Black's name," Harry said as he, Hermione, and Charlie waited. After ten minutes, the doors opened to see Dumbledore, Lucifer, and Fudge enter the hospital with two members of the Ministry of Magic.

"Harry, I see that you're awake," Lucifer said as he greeted his son. "Albus told me you have something to show all of us."

"Yes Dad, I have something that will prove Sirius Black is innocent," Harry told his father and everyone else around as he allowed Sam to come forward. The white-horned serpent coughed a few times before he spat the rat out of his mouth. The whole process was like a cat spitting up a stubborn hairball and the rodent that Samael upchucked was clearly traumatized by what he went through.

"I don't see why a rat would prove Black of his innocents," Fudge asked, confused by Harry's actions.

"Give me a second," Harry said before pulling out his wand, and waving it around before the rat transformed into Pettigrew, who was in a fetal position with a thousand yard stare and was covered in snake bile.

"My word! It's Peter Pettigrew," Fudge exclaimed, flabbergasted as he recognized the man from his records.

"Peter Pettigrew was the real Secret Keeper to my birth parents before they were murdered by Voldemort. He betrayed them so that he could live," Harry told them. "I'm sure the missing finger would provide a DNA test."

"If you ask me, Minister, I think it's best to release Sirius Black from his cell," Lucifer asked the man with the green bowler hat and pinstriped suit.

"It may be true that Pettigrew is here and alive in front of us. But Black is still charged with the death of 13 Muggles," Fudge told the group.

"That was also Pettigrew. He used a curse that destroyed and killed those 13 people and framed it on Sirius too," Charlie told him. "After he killed them, he cut off his finger to make people think he died in the attack. Then he transformed into a rat and ran away, hiding as a pet of the Weasleys."

"An unauthorized Animagus too!? I can't believe it," Fudge said as he started to regret that the Ministry gave Pettigrew an award for bravery.

"If I may Minister, I believe Sirius Black was never tried for his believable crime," Dumbledore pointed out.

"He was not. Barty Crouch Sr. never gave it to him after we caught supposed dark witches and wizards. I'll be sure a trial will be heard from both Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew," Fudge said looking at the shivering man in front of him. "A trial will begin tomorrow morning since it's far too late to conduct one at this moment. I'll halt the Dementor's Kiss for Black and let him be tried first," Fudge agreed and turned to his men. "Take this one away for now and make sure he doesn't escape." The men took Pettigrew away and dragged him to a tower that was unoccupied.

"Since my children see Sirius Black as innocent, I'll provide for his defense," Lucifer said with a sinister smile. Fudge shivered as the last time he saw those lawyers, they provided a case that proved Lucius Malfoy was guilty and lost his seat on the board. After the Devil saw that the Minister left, he looked at his children and their friends. "I wouldn't worry too much about Sirius. With the rat revealed, I'm sure he will walk a free man."

"Thanks, Dad," Harry and Charlie said in unison.

"I'm sure you had a long night. Be sure to get plenty of rest," Dumbledore said as he smiled at the group as he and the King of Hell left the Hospital Wing.

"Going to bed sounds like the best thing so far," Charlie said as she stretched her arms and gave a yawn.

"Yes," Harry said with a yawn of his own.

"I think it's best that we all got some rest," Hermione said as she was feeling the effects of going back in time.

"See all of you in the morning," Charlie waved them a good night as she headed to her quarters.

"I think I'll sleep here for the night," Harry told both Hermione and Ron.

"Me too," Hermione said as they both took a bed to sleep in before heading to their dorm in the morning.

Harry lay on one of the hospital beds before sleep started to take him and Sam coiled around the Prince of Hell. 'I did it, I saved an innocent man from a crime he didn't commit. Once Sirius is proven innocent, I'm gonna tell him about Mom, Dad, and Charlie. I'll tell Lupin too since he knew my birth parents too,' he thought to himself before he drifted off.

And I believe that is where I will leave it. Thank you WaterDragonMaverick for the beta reading, editing, and suggestions as always. And looks like Sirius is getting his innocence proven and the trial he was denied. You're getting your chapter, iamshinydragonmist. The next chapter will be called Lawyers from Hell as the Prisoner of Azkaban arc will be coming to a close. Also, check out the new poll. Until then, I will see all of you in Hell!
