Hello everyone I'm back again btw I might start to slow down I'm starting the football season and school is starting really soon. But this story has gone far I mean I think this is the 8th chapter? I thought this would end up like my other stories just one or two chapters but I guess those pulled in more viewers then this :( since at the moment still only one person has reveiwed please leave a review since I'm not the best writer maybe you can help? I would be so greatfull I like sharing this storie with you guys! Anyway I think thats all I have to say!
I got up from my sleeping mat I didn't know if anyone was still in the room I had blocked out all of their noise so now I wasn't sure if they were still here. I looked up and yep they were all gone I didn't know where there wasn't any notes or anything I thought back to the dragon I had to find out who they were I remembered the crystal that the dragon was holding I knew the library would have some type of awnser even if it was a bad one. I forgot I still had my scarf on I didn't take it off last night and my library card was still in my scarf in between my neck, I really have to get a bag or something I thought jumping down from my ledge I walked a bit more untill the library came into view I couldn't see what was inside the library or more of who was inside except StarFlights desk and him sitting at it holding some papers. As soon as I walked in StarFlight shot up.
"Oh hello Coyote, what can I help you with?" StarFlight asked putting his papers aside.
"Hmm is there any scrolls about a crystal associated with dreams?" I asked scanning around the room and to my surprise the others were here they were in a circle so they didn't notice me.
"Wait did a dragons in your dream have a crystal?" StarFlight asked urgently.
"Uh yeah, how did you know?" I replied.
"I think thats a dreamvisitor!" StarFlight shouted gathering the attention of the others.
"A what?" I asked I hadn't heard of something like that.
"Sorry we don't have any scrolls about them but I can tell you about it" he said I nodded in return the others had gone back to what they were doing.
(So you guys will need to know this, Dreamvisitor 1 is with Sunny the other is with Glory and the last one is "Missing" I couldn't figure out excactly where they would be in the real books but that is their postions in this story).
"So they let the user jump into anyones dream which in this case is you, so what did the dragon look like?" he said.
"Well they were pure black and had red eyes no pupils" I replied shrugging.
"Hmm they must have altered their dream self, either that or that is really what they look like" StarFlight said. "What did they do, are they danger?" StarFlight added.
"Well they did try to kill me" I said I was kinda scared but I didn't want to freak out.
"We need to find out more about this dragon and put a stop to them" StarFlight said he sounded weird a tone I can't place.
"Well ok" I said. "I can find out more." I added. StarFlight nodded. "I'll see you later" I said walking over to the group I wanted to find out what they were doing.
"Hey guys" I said coming up behind them.
"Oh your here!" Seaweed said turning around.
"Yep! But what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Oh just planning what we were going to do today!" Mountain replied before Seaweed opened his mouth they all nodded their agreement.
"So what were you thinking?" I asked I need something to take my mind off of that dragon.
"I wanted to explore" Rain said shrugging.
"Yeah we were going to do that but we were arguing on who would ask Sunny if we could go out" Star cut in looking up from a scroll.
"We were gonna vote just now" Iceberg said looking annoyed I nodded.
"So who are we gonna vote" I asked.
"I say Mountain" Iceberg said.
"I second that" Star said raising her claws.
"Yeah sure why not" Seaweed said shrugging.
"Ok fine I'll vote mountain" Rain said Mountain snapped her neck around she looked betrayed well she kinda was I also raised my talon.
"Fine I guess I'm asking" Mountain said standing up she started walking to Sunnys office quickly we followed behind her Mountain walked at a very fast pace much faster the her normal self this wasn't any speical case so I didn't know where her urgency came from. Soon we arrived in front of Sunnys office Mountain walked in but I was distracted by Amber walking by with a male SandWing.
"Oh hey Coyote!" Amber said walking up to me.
"What's up?" I replied.
"Nothing what about you?" she said.
"Oh we were going to explore around the Mountain" I said shrugging while pointing to the others but they were to distracted to notice.
"Really! Mind if we come?" she asked pointing to her friend.
"Yeah you guys can come" I replied.
"Oh and this is Cactus" she said still pointing at him, he had no items he was wearing just white horns and a deep sand color to him. When I turned around the others were ready to go.
"Yeah she said we can go but we have to be carful" Mountain remarked exiting the office we nodded I started walking to the cliff right outside the great hall hoping the others would follow I looked behind me and they got the message and followed. I got to the great hall pretty quick I exiting the great hall I looked up at the sky it was a nice day just a few clouds I still couldn't believe how much cooler it is over here then the desert. The others came right out behind me.
"So which way you wanna go first?" Seaweed asked the group turing to get us all in view.
"Lets go that way!" Mountain said pointing north I nodded it was mostly forrest that way though. We head out on our journey flying down to the forrest below the cliff I felt like I was being watched when I landed I felt weird almost scared.
"Hey why don't we split up for a bit?" Rain said, I shrugged I didn't really care.
"Yeah sure" Moutain said. "I'll go with Seaweed" she added.
"Ok Star and Iceberg will go with me, and the SandWing can stay together" Rain said walking up to Star and Iceberg.
"So guys I guess we're staying together then?" I said to the others, they nodded.
"Hey we will be right back can you be alone for a sec?" Cactus said. I nodded I was fine being alone for a bit though Amber was kinda confused. They walked off but now the feeling I had got worse once they were out of view I saw something pass through the trees.
"Hey is someone there?" I asked getting nervous I didn't like this. Suddenly the thing jumped out launching me a few yards I looked up quickly it was a NightWing they had nothing on them no wepons no nothing. They jumped again slashing my left cheek it oozed blood it was incredibly painfull I hadn't indused an injury like this before. I punched them getting a clean hit right into their stomach they screeched from the pain I then went to hit them with my tail not stab him I didn't want to kill him just him him with enough blunt force to send them packing. I connected to their face sending them crashing into the dirt.
"Hey whats going!?" Rain yelled running out the forrest followed by Iceberg and Star the dragon looked up and sprinted into the trees I stood their panting watching them go.
"What happend!?" Iceberg yelled staring at my cut.
"A NightWing" I gasped trying to calm down.
"Rain can you go get the others?" Star remarked Rain nodded and ran back into the woods. "We need something to stop the bleeding" Star added looked at leaves. The adreniline is runnin out I thought it was starting to hurt a lot more I was about to faint then the darkness came...
"Coyote! Wake up!" I heard I tried opening my eyes I got a glimpse at some light and could make out a few shapes I couldn't tell where I was though. "He's awake!" someone else called they were standing beside me looking at my eyes.
"W-whats going on?" I mumbled turning trying to see everyone in the room.
"Wait what got him like this?" another voice cut in.
"I'm not sure he said something about a NightWing before he passed out though" a familar voice replied. I tried to sit up but something pushed me back down.
"Oh no you are not getting up right now" someone said to me. I rubbed my eyes I saw more clearly now I was on some sort of table Clay stood beside me I must have been in Clays office I looked around some more Sunny stood in the corner talking to Star and Rain, Seaweed and Mountain were talking together and Iceberg was talking to someone right outside the exit. I collected my thoughts I felt a bit better I tried my best to ignore the pain in my cheek it had been bandaged I just realized that my right eye was covered with bandage so that it would stay on my cheek. I felt fine well other then my cheek I wanted to get out of here.
"So what happend?" Clay said staring at me.
"Oh um a NightWing came out of nowhere and tried to kill me" I said I then realized how crazy of a situation this was.
"What!?" Clay yelled.
"Yeah thats about it" I said I knew that dragon was the dragon from my dreams he had the same build and attidtude.
"Well I guess your good to go back to your cave but you need to rest" Clay said.
"Cool!" I replied getting off the table I could walk fine so I went on ahead of the others.
"Dude are you sure you fine?" Seaweed said walking up beside me.
"Yep!" I replied I felt great the pain was starting to numb. We walked in silence for the rest of the walk I went to my ledge when we went into the room I didn't really know what to do I didn't want to sleep I was to hyper for that after all that happend I didn't feel tired I didn't quite know why. "Hey I'm gonna stop by the prey center" I said looking around the room I noticed Iceberg and Mountain were gone.
"I'll come" Seaweed yelled. Star nodded.
"I think I'll stay here" Rain said. "I want to sleep" she added laying down. I got up and walked to the door Star and Seaweed beside me we walked for a bit chatting about our favorite classes and how we were doing in them I picked art and I thought I was doing pretty good. When we walked into the Prey center I scanned all the dragons Amber, LightFang, Mountain, Icberg and a few other dragons stood in their they looked surprised as they saw me.
"Hey!" Amber said running up to me.
"Hi" I replied.
"Sorry but word got out pretty quickly about the attack" Amber said I shrugged.
"Well right now I just want some food" I said scanning around at what their was to eat.
"Ok" Amber shrugged while she said that I noticed a plump chicken behind her I lept past her pinning the chicken with my talon finishing it off with one bite I blew some fire cooking the chicken.
"Wow you are hungry" Amber said as I was taking my first bites I nodded I had been pretty hungry I guess your body needs more nutriants when you have been attacked. The others gathered in a circle with their own food.
"So what really happened?" LightFang asked.
"Well a NightWing came out of nowhere and attacked me" I shrugged.
"A NighWing?" he asked.
"Yep" I replied. We stayed quiet for the rest of the time eating soon we all finished eatingand it was time to head back to our room. I walked with Star and Seaweed LightFang and Amber had something else to do so it was just Star and Seaweed with me. Soon we reached the Silver winglet Mountain and Iceberg were there but Rain was gone.
"Where's Rain?" I asked.
"Oh she turns invisible when she sleeps sometimes its kinda like a reflex" Mountain shrugged. I nodded and hopped up on the ledge I sleep on I was ready to sleep but then I thought of how that dragon could enter my dreams so I decieded I wanted to stay up a bit longer. The little bit longer turned into a few hours it was close to midnight I was about to pass out I needed to get some sleep at this point I didn't care if the dragon came again I layed down letting sleep take me.
"Wow you did better then I thought you would" a voice called I looked around I was on that sand dune again.
"Not you again" I called I was starting to get fed up with this dragon.
"Oh it is me again!" they yelled back. I ignored them if I ignored them they couldn't do anything I realized if I didn't focus on them hurting me it wouldn't hurt I only had to worry about this dragon in real life the dragon was surprised. "What are you doing?" they yelled.
"Ignoring you" I called back.
"But aren't you scared?" they yelled.
"Nope not anymore" I shrugged laying down. I don't know why but I tried to sleep in my dream. I opened my eyes again I was in my winglet room I pinched myself it hurt nope I wasn't dreaming it was very dark I knew i was abput 4:00 in the morning I noticed some paper by the door I got up and jumped from my ledge spraying a little fire it said.
"Coyote is to remain in the Silver winglet cave for today as he is injured and not permitted to walk around freely" that sucked I didn't want to be locked up like a prisinor all day for now I went to lay back down I couldn't fall asleep after what happend I rested untill moring...
Hello everyone I think this chapter will take us to 20K words! I think thats insane I never thought I would write a story this long and its still going this isn't even the ending if theres anything I can do better please tell me in a review it would be great and I thank you if you do so far only one reviewer :( so please let me know your thoughts! I really like writing this story and sharing it with you! I have lots of ideas and maybe you can give some of your own to!
