Jade eyes slowly opened up, seeing the ceiling of the hospital room where she and tori were at.
The hospital room made her remember the news she got, remembering that tori is pregnant with not one, or two. But FIVE babies. Jade still can't wrap her head around it. They always talked about a big family, but not at the same time
Jade look down, seeing an iv needle was taped in her wrist, she turned her head to the right, seeing her beautiful wife looking through her pear phone. After the news, seeing her wife always calms her down. Jade grunt while sitting up, making tori look up and smile. "hey, you ok?"
Jade look at the iv bag and said. "did i pass out?". Tori nodded "yeah, doctor said this happens a lot"
Jade: so im guessing. Quintuplets, wasn't a dream?
Tori slowly shook her head. "I'm carrying a full house... I know this wasn't exactly what we were thinking when we wanted to start a family". Jade rubbed her head in pain. "well this is certainly a surprised for us"
Tori: so. What do you wanna do?
Jade: what do you think? We're gonna raise five babies
Tori: But. Five babies
Jade: yeah i know, it's obviously gonna be more challenging, but we can't do anything else. Abortion is out of the question
Tori nodded. "and... It'll break your heart if we put any of them in adoption. We're gonna raise them. Love them. Teach them. Everything. We'll get through this together". Tori smiled before leaning down to kiss her wife. "i love you". Jade smiled back. "i love you too... Are all 5 alright?"
Tori: yup. All five are healthy
The doctor came in the room and notice jade. "ah, i see sleepy beauty is awake". Jade growl, making tori giggle. "she doesn't like when people call her princess name's". The doctor laugh and nodded before sitting down infront of them. "now that you're both awake. I like to talk about the pregnancy. From what i can tell. All five are nice and healthy. Now i must talk to you the birthing process of carrying quintuplets. Naturally, the human body is never made to carry five"
Jade: I'm pretty sure people survive while carrying Six babies
Doctor: oh yes. I'm not saying the worst. I'm trying to explain, a person carrying five babies is a bit more challenging.
Tori: whatever gonna happen. We'll get through it
Doctor: that's great to hear. Now the pregnancy with 5 babies will cause you to have back pains. That's normal, but with quintuplets. You're fine right now, but as the pregnancy continues, your gonna have to rest your feet
Tori nodded. "anything else." The doctor said. "well there is talk about your diet. But we'll talk about in your 4th week pregnancy". Tori and jade nodded before sitting up.
The doctor shook both tori and jade hand. "congratulations again. See you in four weeks". Tori said. "thanks, for giving me the best news of my life. Oh and can we get a copy of the sonogram"
Doctor: oh of course, i completely forgot to ask if you want one
Tori and jade walked out of the office after getting a print up picture of their five babies sonogram. Tori smiled while looking at it as jade drove out of the parking lot. "oh god jade. Five babies, can you imagine". Jade laugh while rubbing her face. "never did"
Tori looks at jade and said. "jade, whatever the future holds. I know it's gonna be great". Jade looks at her wife and said. "yeah, gonna be five times tougher, though". Tori nodded. "yeah, but five times of love". Tori hugged the sonogram, holding it on her still flat belly
Jade: yeah
The west drove up to their best friends home. Sam and cat puckett. They known the couple for years. For jade, her and cat been friends since childhood
Sam met cat when she started her trip around the world. When she met cat, they became roommates for a year until they finally became a couple, sam gotten strong feelings for the redhead for awhile, but was afraid she might loose her like carly when she moved to italy. But cat expressed her feelings when they had their first Christmas. Cat gave sam the best Christmas gift she could ever ask. Herself. And they been going out ever since
Her and cat got married right after high school. Cat got a job, becoming a costume designer for movies and shows. As for sam, she got a job as a bartender till she has enough money to open her own auto shop
Not long after, sam and cat started their own family. Cat was pregnant with their first child. Cassandra puckett, cassie for short, she clearly got her personality from sam. Always been acting tough around her parents. A couple of years later, they got pregnant again with melaine puckett. Sam named her after twin sister
Because their parents, they thought they should talk to them. Here they are. Tori and jade are sitting in the puckett couch, with sam. cat is in the kitchen
Cat opened up the fridge, taking out 2 glasses of tea. She walked up in the living room and handed her friends the glases as she sat down by sam, she had a hard time sitting down because of her round stomach, oh yeah. Cat pregnant with their third child
Tori finally told the couple the news, as she showed them the sonogram. Making cat squeal. "OH MY GOD, YOUR HAVING A BABY!!!". Tori smiled as cat hugged her. Sam says. "holy shit, you sly foxes you". Jade smiled as she hugged her
Cat: how far along are you guys?
Tori: well I'm the one that's pregnant. And well the doctor told me I'm almost 2 weeks
Sam: you guys are gonna love being parents. What are you hoping for, a boy or a girl?
Tori: well it could be a bit of both. Turns out, I'm having quintuplets
Cat: Five babies?! No way! Sam we should
Sam: don't finish that sentence
Cat laugh while looking at tori and jade. "i can't believe it. You guys are gonna be so full of love". The monitor by them turned on, and the four heard a crash through the monitor
Sam: well, The girls are up. I got her
Sam stood up. Jade said. "ill help". Jade follow sam to the girls bedroom, they started sharing the room when cat got pregnant again. The tough girls opened the door, seeing the six year old cassie and 4 year old melanie, standing by a broke lamp. Melanie was handing pieces to her sister, as she started glueing the pieces together. "cass, this won't work"
Cassandra: yes it will. We can do this before mommy and momma find out
Sam: too late
The girls scream and turned around seeing sam and jade. "mind telling me what happen here?". Melanie pointed at cassie and said. "she did it". Cassie pushed her arm away
Sam: When i count down to 1. I want a confession, if i don't get one. Both of you are in serious trouble. 3... 2... 1
Cassie sigh. "i broke it. It was an accident". Sam kneel down and checked cassie hands, seeing tiny red marks. "i was looking under the desk for my game. And i pulled the lamp, thought it was a toy. I try to fix it". Sam kissed both cassie hands. "go to your mommy and tori. And she'll heal your hands". Cassie stood up and said. "I'm sorry"
Sam: it's fine. I'm just glad your ok. Just tell me next time
Cassie walked out of the room. Melanie crawl toward her mom and said. "can i help?". Sam smiled before saying. "no, mama got this covered. Follow your sister". Melanie stood up and ran toward the living room
Sam started picking the pieces up and said. "jade, theirs a trashbag in the top drawer". Jade had a confused look before opening the top drawer, finding a trashbag"
Jade: really?
Sam: i got a 4 and 6 year old. You do the math
Jade handed sam the bag before asking. "does something like this happens a lot". Sam scoffed. "you kidding. Accidents like this happens a lot. But being a parent is never easy"
Jade: well i figured that
Sam: i say. When i opened that auto shop, i won't have to worry about money for awhile
Jade: what are you talking about?
Sam stood up when she collected all the pieces of the lamp. "your kidding. Kids cost money. I mean, pre-school cost 10 gran a year". Air was cut off in jade throat, making her cough. "$10,000 dollars". Sam realized what she said and smacked herself. "sorry. I didn't mean to freak you out"
Jade:(freaking out) and i got five coming soon
Sam: jade. Breath. Sit
Jade slowly sat down on the rocking chair. "five kids. Hospital bill. School. Oh god". Sam playfully punched jade in the shoulder. "hey. Didnt mean to freak you out. But it's true, but i can tell your gonna be fine"
Jade: how?
Sam: just look inside yourself. Look at me, a tomboy who got a piece of junk of a motorcycle to fly. And cat, she fixed my jeans when they ripped. Beside you own a house. One less thing to worry about
Jade slowly nodded, but after hearing money. It made her realize how much kids cost. And adding up 5 times, made jade shiver down her spine full of fear
Jade started thinking that her bartending job is not enough and in order to take care of tori and the babies. She needs to get a full time job
After the couple left the pucketts house. They went to tori parents to tell them the news. Which made both parents cry
Tori brought a copy of the sologram to them. And smile, seeing holly pin it to her fridge. Saying. "not only are you two getting me my first grandbaby. But I'm also getting 5 babies at once. I am. So full of happiness". Holly walked up to kiss tori head, making her laugh
Tori: thanks. Grandma
Holly: i am still deciding what i want to be called
Tori laugh as jade pull david away from the kitchen. "hey david, do you still have any connection to the police station you worked at". David nodded. "yeah, their my friends after all"
Jade: well i was wondering if you can get me some kind of job over there
David stares at jade before guiding her toward the living room. "jade, do you know why i gave you my blessing to marry tori?". Jade said "because she risk her life to save mine". David chuckled. "it's because i saw potential in you. Your the only person to bring tori to life during high school. Showed her what true love is like, your the reason she came out to me and her mom. Not just that, All the plays you acted in. All the musical. The plays you wrote. I saw a person that was right for my daughter, who has talent no one else has. Not afraid to say what your thinking"
Jade: uhh. What's your point
David: jade, if you settled with a job at the station. Your never going to be an actor, and be miserable. You have potential. Talent, you need to use it
Jade: but... The babies
David: i love that you wanna take care of tori and your kids. But not this way. It's gonna be like staying in the closet your whole life. Your gonna be miserable, sad. And you won't have anyone to blame, but yourself
Jade sigh before rubbing her head. "i know i know. But i need to figure out a way to make some money. Fast". David says ."tell tori this. She'll always know what to tell you".
Jade nodded. "thanks. David... Even though you turned me down". David smiled. "your family jade. I look after family. Too be honest, your like a third daughter to me"
Jade: more like an approvement over trina
David and jade laugh at that. In the kitchen, tori was touching her belly. "you excited" tori look up seeing her mom and nodded. "yeah, i always dream of having a big family. Just not at once"
Holly: you'll manage. You and jade can do anything together
Tori: yeah, about that... I think she's a little nervous though
Holly: how do you know?
Tori: she passed out during the first ultrasounds
Holly laugh. "well. I'm just saying, this is big news. But if she really is nervous. You might need to talk". Tori nodded. "so boy or girls?". Tori laugh
Tori: mom, it's way too early to know the gender
Holly: i can't help it. I'm excited, I'm getting 5 grandbabies at once
Tori: yeah. Maybe six if we decide for another one. Or trina get pregnant
Holly: yeah, being a mom is her style
The mother and daughter laugh. Holly said. "i just want you to know, if you need help. Just call". Tori smiled and nodded before hugging her mom. Holly has tears coming out. "oh, my baby growing up so fast. Enjoy these kids when their little. It goes by so fast". Tori smiled while pulling holly close. David took the chance to take a picture of the 2 hugging, and smiled
Jade also smiled seeing the two
Jade and tori stayed for dinner at the vega's before returning home to their house. They watched the new season of orange is the new black. They only watched the first 3 episodes before turning in for bed
Tori was sitting in bed, smiling while looking at baby names in the internet. "jade, we have so many names we can pick. We don't even don't have to pick just one. I like anthony. Tony for short. What michael... Alex. Alex west. Kinda got a nice ring into it. And it's good for a boy or a girl". Jade is currently in the bathroom, brushing her teeth. She washed her mouth with mouth wash before spitting out all the paste and washed her mouth with water. She turned on the sink, cleaning it before walking in the bedroom
Jade: we can talk about all of that later tori, I'm tired
Tori look at jade, before saying. "jade. I need to know how your actually thinking". Jade slowly crawl into bed before sighing. "I'm fine". Tori shot a glare at jade, making her groan. "sam told me it cost 10 gran per student for pre-school. And five kids. Got me nervous". Tori stare soften before crawling closer to jade and pull her in a hug. "jade. I know it's terrifying. But we'll get through this together". Jade nodded as she felt tori kissing her head to calm her down
Jade: i know. And no matter what happens. I love these kids so much already. But we need to get some extra money. I mean, you might have to get out of your waitressing job
Tori: we got money save up, jade. You still have that bartending job. And i got checks coming from that song i wrote
Jade: yeah. But i work part time. I wanna support you
Tori smiled while looking at jade. "jade. I know you'll think of something... And i think i know something that you'll love. Your screenplay you wrote". Jade looks confused. "what about them?"
Tori: jade, their soo good. If you send them to any company. I guarantee they'll make it in a movie
Jade: but. I thought you want us to take a break
Tori: i do. But if your worried about money. I think you should take a chance on them
Jade: but. What if they declined me?
Tori: wow. I never thought I'll see jade scared
Jade: well it is a scary thought
Tori: jade, you wrote those stories for years. Their so good and you never send them to anyone. I know your scared
Jade: it not just them denying me. If i sent one and they don't like it. My career is done. It's a scary thought, if they think my plays are a joke. Their gonna tell another company and just like that. Boom, I'm blackballed in hollywood
Tori can sense the fear in jade voice. She grabbed her hand and says. "jade, you will never be blackballed. I read your scripts. I love them. Andre loves them. Cat loves them. Even before hayley and tara were are friends. They liked your scripts. You shouldn't let fear destroy your chances. Jade, what is my song that i sang on my first day of hollywood arts?". Jade smiled. "make it shine"
Tori: make it shine, jade. Not for the babies, not for me. Not even for the money. Do it for you
Jade looks at her wife and said. "how can you make my fears go away like that?". Tori smiled. "that's my power". Jade lean in to kiss tori, they both started kissing passionately before falling in the bed together ready to make love
The next day, jade decided to take a chance. She told herself so much that they won't like it. But tori advice convinced her enough to take a chance and send one of her scripts to a company. Jade chose one of her scripts that was her favorite
Jade typed in her address and uploaded her script in her laptop. Then dropped it in the email she was about to send it. Hesitated a little, nervous. But notice tori poster of her song that said. "make it shine" was enough for jade to press send. And that was it, she sent her script
Jade stood up and walked into the bedroom, finding her wife standing beside the mirror. Noticing a small bump on her stomach, making jade smile. The babies are actually growing. She wrapped her arms around tori and hugged her from behind. Making tori smile
Jade wanted to thank tori for the advice by making her breakfast, and gonna make her favorite
Jade was cracking a few eggs on the frying pan to start as tori sat on the table. "jade. We need a big table". Jade laugh. "we'll get one soon, tori. Hey i forgot to ask. Did you sleep well?"
Tori: yeah. And i had this amazing dream last night. I saw the babies in the future. They were grown up. We were sitting on the couch, then the door opened. Where these teenagers came in. A full house. Some called me mrs west. But a couple, called me mama
Jade look at tori and smiled, seeing tori look up at the ceiling with a grin. "a boy. Called me mama... I know we're gonna have atleast one boy, jade"
Jade finished making the omelet and put it by tori. "i know our chances on having a boy is pretty big. But still, don't get your hopes up". Tori nodded before kissing jade, then started devouring the omelet, making jade laugh as she took a sip of her coffee
Jade is getting nervous of having kids. But if tori by her side. She knows everything gonna be ok
