This chapter is not about the main story but a few details about the characters, so you can ignore it if you're not interested in it.

Details about Anon:

He was a salesman in his previous life, he was promoted to a higher position within his company due to his natural skill at reading people(Not in a psychic way), he used to guess what people want just by looking at them and their actions(The way they talk, the way they sit and etc), his predictions were mostly true so he used it to his advantage.

It is possible that this natural ability evolved into something greater when he manifested his psychic abilities, this makes him one of the most if not best people in the telepathy discipline in the entire galaxy. Basically anything related to information. (His psychic wards makes it almost impossible to read his mind)

Anon served in the military for 4 years, he thought he was decent at using guns, until he realized every guardsman in imperium was equal to special forces back on earth.

Anon is an Asexual, this is due to his fear of losing his loved ones. For one he is immortal while his possible partners aren't.

2, he fears that something horrible might happen to his partner due to being in 40k.

Another detail about him is that he doesn't hate aliens, he will ignore them unless they pose danger to humans.

Anon always wears a mask due to his fear of showing his face, this fear is not entirely thanks to daemons.

Details about William:

William is not a puritan nor a radical, he wants to go to the top, not because he is power-hungry, but because he genuinely thinks he can do better. He will refuse to get promoted if doing so causes damage to imperium, he sees such things as spitting on the emperor's great work.

He was born in an Agri world to a high-ranking officer within the guard, the guard officer was assigned to the planet to defend it against a minor Xenos threat(not orks), he later married a peasant worker he fancied and had William as a child. He died when William was 9 while her mother died when William was 5 due to cancer.

William is more than 150 years old.

Details about Isaac:

He was born in the famous world of Necromunda, he used to steal from mechanicus, due to this troubling habit, he is quite adept at using technology.

He thinks of himself as a playboy womanizer but he is hated by the opposite sex thanks to his unrefined ways of flirting. He once tried to flirt with a tech priestess... it wasn't successful...

He is not a son of an imperial officer or anything akin to that, they just grabbed him due to his physic and send him to the schola.

Details about Ishmael:

He is the first one other than William to warm up to Anon, it was due to him healing his wounds during their first mission. He wants to repay him by teaching him to be better at combat, he has gone out of his way to make a special diet for him.

Ishmael was born on a desert planet, he is more than 100 years old and was William's first trusted retinue, due to this, he enjoys rejuvenation treatment.

Details on Celliphus:

She has talent in biomancy and divination, though she hasn't trained much in the 2nd one. She uses her biomancy to constantly rejuvenate her body(She could live for 250 years with biomancy alone), but this is only under Anon's observation due to the risk of mutation(Don't put warp energy in your body if you don't know what you are doing)

She was born on holy terra and almost lost her eyesight during the soul binding, she is slowly healing her eyes since she met Anon. She also has a terrible emotional scar from her childhood. (She is currently in her 30s)

Details about Kaedra:

Her parents died long before she could remember anything. She had a dire avenger brother who took care of her ever since her parent's death, he later died fighting ultramarines.

After her brother's death(When she was 15), Anath who was a warlock at the time took the role of a mentor for her, she sees him more like a father than a teacher.

Kaedra hates humans but there is one thing she likes about them. Cakes! she likes human-made cakes. Though she finds most human foods to be terrible, she likes cakes of all kinds since her craftworld doesn't have something like cake. Anath saved a human baker once and asked him to make a cake for him in return, he used it to celebrate his promotion to a farseer. She also enjoys sweets of all kinds.

Details about Anath:

He was the father figure to Kaedra.

He is very old even by Eldar standards and waiting for the day that he will turn into a crystal, but tries to prevent it now that he saw the Vision about the silver mask.

Details about Avina:

Although most humans will find her appearance abhorrent, Anon finds her attractive, though this attraction is due to her appearance but her skills.

Avina hates Anon and hates the fact that she would lose to him in a straight-up fight. She didn't want to teach Anon about sword fighting but sucks it for William(There is something there but I can't put my finger on it).

She hates to admit the fact that Anon would be a great assassin.

Some details about the current setting:

Imperial psyker has become more dependable thanks to Duran's instructional books.

The fog at the start of the story was not natural.

Imperium doesn't know of Necrons yet, they thought the Necrons that appeared in the earlier chapter were just a minor Xenos race. The Necrons were destroyed before imperium could investigate further.

There is a reason why Anon is more resistant to warp beings than normal psykers.

Anon still doesn't know if he wants to prevent the fall of Cadia or not. His ultimate goal is to help imperium as much as he can then leave the galaxy with millions of human colonists in M41.

Anon knows the location of the 5th crone sword.
