Lucy awoke the next morning grateful for the simple comforts a bed and room could provide. Not that she hadn't been forced to make do without, missions could run lots of days in the wild, and she did have the entire year after running away from home as experience. Luckily this was not one of those times. She awoke to a head of red hair staring her in the face. Not completely awake yet, she hesitated for a second, which was enough to result in a shock.

"GOOD MORNING LUCY." Rebecca yelled, pulling the covers off her.

"God you don't have to yell, I'm up."

"Sure didn't look like it, not that I blame you, yesterday was eventful to say the least. Well, I'm heading back to Nean today so you need to find a new place to stay."

"I don't think I'll need to quite yet, the magic knight exam is a month away and I still have an item I need to find before that."

"An item?"

"Yeah, it's another key. Maybe an explanation is in order. Open, gate of the Lion." With a slash of a key and the glow of a grimoire, Loke appeared out of thin air.

"Good morning, Lucy." He then turned to face Rebecca. "Lucy's magic is summoning celestial spirits like myself to fight at her side, each key allows summoning one spirit.

"So that's celestial magic."

"Right, by making contracts with spirits, I can summon them to assist me."

"So you summon these spirits to fight for you, is that all?"

"Of course not, they're my friends! I was separated from most of my keys when I got stuck here, so I need to go find them."

Loke stepped in now, "Uh princess, you aren't going after THAT key first are you."

"I'm going after that key first."

"Lucy, do you even know where you're going?" Rebecca asked me.

"Not yet, but I have a spell that can find that out. I haven't used it before so I'm not sure how much magic this takes, please go back Loke."

"Of course, princess" and in a flash of golden light, he was gone.

I had read the spell description from my grimoire, and from how it was described, I could call out a specific key and the spell would create a hologram map with the constellation symbol where the key is located. Throwing a parchment at the hologram would record the map. This didn't tell me anything about the drain of the spell, so I was going to find out the hard way.

"Alright, Rebecca, can you give me some room, I'm going to find where this key is now."

"Oh, uh alright, try not to overdo it."

With that, I opened my grimoire to the new page and started chanting the spell.

I call upon the stars in the sky, long have they guided the search

I ask thy help on my search, allow me to unite thee

The constellation of water, Aquarius, is lost, yet the sky sees all

Oh stars of guidance, guide me

Grand Celestial magic, Aquarius key search

As I chanted the spell, my grimoire glowed even brighter to the point of causing blindness. Magic raced out of my body to surround the air, causing wind to blow Rebecca away from her stationary position. My hair was undone and lifting up from the power of the spell, and for a second, I may even have levitated. The glowing light focused itself to a small ball in front of me, then shot out the window. the light shot straight up into the sky, before it turned to face west and drew out the constellation Aquarius, easily visible to me still in an inn room. The light just as quickly shot back into the room and this time, showed a map of the Clover Kingdom and the surrounding lands. I threw a parchment into a glowing light, and just as fast, everything died down. I picked up the parchment and saw it had a map etched onto it in golden ink, with the Aquarius mark being in the far west.

After that, the amount of magic I'd used hit me suddenly and I collapsed to my knees. I had expected it to be hard to use, but I wasn't expecting it to take more magic than urano metria. "Just let me catch my breath, I'm fine. It worked though, here, take the map, can you tell me where that is."

Rebecca hesitated before getting up and looking at the map. "Huh. This looks to be the far west of Clover, very close to the border with the Heart kingdom. Actually, since this appears to be inside a dungeon, I wouldn't be surprised if it's right on the border. You do know what a dungeon is, right?"

"No, can't say that I do."

"Dungeons are buildings left behind by ancient civilizations who lived on this planet. They are filled with mazes, puzzles, and traps. At the center of each dungeon is a well-protected treasure room, which the ancients used to protect their wealth. I'm betting that key you need is in the treasure room of this border dungeon."

"Doesn't that seem a bit dangerous?"

"Oh it can be. Usually, only experienced treasure hunters or magic knights go in, but you're gonna have to if you want that key. Since it's on the border, there's a good chance Heart kingdom citizens may go there too, so you may not be alone."

"Well that's good. After all, a celestial key is only valuable to a celestial wizard, so maybe they'd let me take it." I was starting to sound really hopeful, though not completely realistic.

"Nean isn't really on the way, I'm heading north and you're going west, so this is where we part ways. You can use this extra broom i have to get there faster."
"Oh you're really an angel you know that?"

"I'll just call it an investment, I'm sure you'll make it on the magic knights so you'll be able to pay me back later."

"Never mind, I take it all back," though I knew this was all a bit of playful banter.

Well, for the first time since arriving in Clover I have a clear goal of what to do next. It's really so much better than the wandering I was doing the first day.

"Well, this is where we part ways, I'll be sure to see you soon when I return!"

"Of course Lucy, I wish you the best."

With that, I mounted the broom and headed off west, hoping to reach the dungeon as fast as I could.

Elsewhere, an old crone and a playboy watched the pair split up and fly off. The playboy was thinking of how cool Lucy looked, both here and when they briefly interacted yesterday. He had been told to keep an eye on the girl, and he did just that, maybe with a few unneeded stares, but he was a playboy, that's his job. He'd be reporting back to Captain Yami soon.

As for the old crone, she disappeared behind an abandoned alleyway then released the transformation spell on her body. At that moment, her body glowed before transforming into a blonde man in regal robes and a tattoo on his face. This man is Julius Novachrono, and he is the Wizard King of the Clover kingdom. He spoke to himself, "How interesting, yet another foreigner washes up on our shores carrying a mysterious magic. I know personally just how Yami turned out, I can only hope she's as good. Also, Celestial magic!" He could be seen with twinkling eyes at this point. "Such cool magic, I'm glad I got to see this one too. I need learn all about it later." It couldn't be said the Wizard King wasn't a complete magic nerd.

At that moment, a video call appeared above him from his secretary Marx, "Lord Julius, the paperwork isn't going to do itself, stop sneaking around. That foreigner is causing enough extra paperwork as it is."

The wizard king replied, "Ok killjoy, but I was able to see the foreigner girl Lucy for a few seconds, it seems she's flying to a dungeon in the west."

"Oh not a total waste then, whatever get over here and handle the paperwork regarding her if you're so interested."

The wizard king was visibly frowning as he headed back to the castle.
