Chapter Summary:
During the 25 days Roxas was asleep, the Dusks took advantage to play pranks on him. Although, a certain Heartless did not make it easy for them.
Our Liege is still sleeping…
The Dusk mused aloud to its fellow Dusks.
He still won't wake up? One of the other Dusks questioned. It wiggled thoughtfully.
The first Dusk shook its head.
No, and the Superior has no idea when he will wake up. Nor do any of the higher-ups.
It is weird that a higher-level Nobody like Lord Roxas would sleep for so long , another Dusk, a twisty one, commented. After all, he is no longer a blank state, is he?
The wiggly Dusk and the first Dusk shook their head in agreement. But then an idea occurred to the first Dusk and it twitched around in excitement.
…how deep asleep is he? The Dusk asked as it held up a black marker.
The other Dusks hissed in laughter.
They were lucky none of the Samurais were around. Tolerant as they were, they would not endure an injustice done to their liege lord's face. And none of the Dusks were in the mood to have their existences wiped away into nothingness.
The trio of Dusks slithered into Lord Roxas's room, where he laid asleep in his bed, as he had been for the past few days.
The twitchy Dusk had forgotten how fun it was like to prank someone in the Organization. It was glad it had the opportunity to do so again, especially with their fellow lower-levels.
The wiggly Dusk took out the marker and handed it to the twisty Dusk, who then uncapped it and proceeded to hand it over to the twitchy one. Slowly the marker near Lord Roxas's clean, vulnerable face—
Grrr!
Of course, in their eagerness to draw on Lord Roxas's face, the Dusks had completely forgotten about his pet Heartless, who was also in the room with their liege lord.
Moreover, they had forgotten how protective of Roxas the Heartless was.
The twitchy Dusk tried to get closer to Lord Roxas but the Heartless swiped at it. It barely backed away in time.
The Dusks all glanced at each other. It was time for a new strategy.
Sora narrowed his eyes at the Dusks.
He knew they were planning something. He could see it in their mischievous grins, their silent hisses, the felt marker they not-so-innocently held in their claws.
He knew whatever it was, it had to do with Roxas.
Well, that wasn't going to happen! Sora was going to protect Roxas however long it took!
Sora spent the rest of the day growling and swiping at the nasty Dusks until they eventually left.
Satisfied, Sora decided it was time to take a nap. He had done a good job protecting Roxas, so he deserved to take one as a reward.
So he curled up and dozed off quickly.
Blissfully unaware of the opportunity he just left open.
When Sora opened his eyes two hours later, it would be to a Roxas whose face was now covered in fake eyelashes, a scrawled on beard, and hair that was gelled up and tied back with little bows.
Sora was not happy.
