AN: Naruto is currently twelve. He was not abused by the villagers or attacked like these other weird fanfictions I've read, I will be making obscure flashbacks and mentions to the training he underwent to get to his level and a different plot, I will try not to do those things which other fanfictions do where they make Minato and Kushina abandon Naruto, willingly and stuff like that.
Naruto Uzumaki was currently in the Anbu Headquarters dressed like many other members of the Anbu Black Ops. He was dressed in his usual uniform that many Anbu was often seen dressed in Black clothing, a grey flak jacket, metal arm guards and gloves, ninja sandals with spikes for traveling mountainous regions, three ninja pouches on their back waist, and spiral tattoo on his shoulder.
On his face was a porcelain mask resembling a cat with a thick red stripe on the forehead and 2 intricate red stripes, on each cheek. He was currently on guard duty in the Anbu Headquarters and was often referred to by his code name 'Ko'.
Considered highly skilled, even at a Low Jounin Level, and believed to be quickly approaching Jounin Level, Naruto Uzumaki is skilled in many areas from Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Kenjutsu, Genjutsu, Traps, etc, etc. He has mastered 2 nature transformations currently, having started with Wind and then Fire. He was currently learning to master Lightning change in Chakra Nature and believed himself close to finishing the First Step.
However when fellow Anbu Black Ops, with a porcelain eagle mask, appeared in front of him, telling him that the Lord Hokage had called for Naruto Uzumaki, instead of 'Ko', Naruto had to first get changed into his usual clothes.
He wore a black and orange jacket with a red Uzumaki crest on the back, he also wore orange pants and wore blue ninja sandals. When he was on duty, he would appear to wear navy blue clothes with a flak jacket and appeared to be a regular Chunin to anyone not in the know.
He then used the body flicker to appear in the room to find Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage and the Leader of the Village hidden by the Leaves but standing in front of the desk instead of behind the desk.
But what was more interesting, was who was behind the desk, the legendary shinobi, Minato Namikaze also known as the Fourth Hokage, and the Yellow Flash of the Leaf. Next to him was a red-haired woman, next to her was a girl about his age with blond hair in pigtails, that looked a lot like a younger version of his sexy jutsu and a 3 or 4-year-old red-haired girl.
'Sorry,' mouthed Sarutobi, confusing the Uzumaki even more, especially with how sad he looked.
"Ahh, Naruto, finally you've arrived," said the Fourth as Naruto looked shocked.
"Look at you, so handsome, You have your father's looks alright," said the woman who Naruto didn't know.
"... Father?" asked Naruto, confused, as he was under the impression that his parents were dead.
"That's right, son, I told you he would take after me," said Minato to his wife.
"Yeah, he still has my face," replied Kushina, playfully, though not noticing how Naruto's face started to grow in understanding and anger.
"Naruto, I believe you are familiar with the Fourth Hokage, and this is Kushina Uzumaki, his wife, they are your parents," said Sarutobi, grimly.
Naruto's world crashed down, he had begun to suspect but to be told by the Third Hokage was all the proof he needed, he seemed to stop breathing for a second, as Naruto understood what was going on.
"Naruto, are you okay?" asked Kushina, but Naruto didn't reply, he was eerily quiet which Minato tried to fix.
"Naruto, I'm sure you're a bit angry at us but we had several important reasons for why we couldn't come home, with Jiraiya training we weren't worried as we knew you would be trained seriously, and more importantly, we thought we could train Natsumi, a bit more, oh yeah, I'd like you to meet your two younger sisters," said Minato excitedly as he indicated.
"Is that older brother Naruto?" asked the younger one.
"Yes Natsumi, that's Naruto," answered the other as she walked over to Naruto and stood a few meters away while clearing her throat.
"Hey, I'm Naruko, you're twin sister, and behind me is Natsumi, she's the youngest here, I've been waiting to meet you for a long and can't wait to work with you or be on your Team," said the girl cheerfully but yet professional. Naruto at least could work with professionalism but was curious about what she meant by working on his team, he's quite sure, she's not joining Anbu.
"I'm sure you're very excited to see us, you know, they are very excited to meet you, I mean-" said Minato excitedly once again but Sarutobi cut him off.
"That's enough, Minato!" exclaimed Sarutobi, while Minato looked confused. Sarutobi understood Minato's excitement after he faked his death but Sarutobi could see that the poor boy wasn't able to handle this and Minato just seemed to grow a bigger grave with every word he spoke.
"What's the matter with you, Lord Third?" asked Minato to which Sarutobi gritted his teeth.
"I told you to let me explain everything, to listen to me when I said not to leave but no you had to make a horrible choice," said the Lord Hokage, his anger showing.
"Old man, did you know?" asked Naruto to which Sarutobi gave a sign.
"Yes Naruto, I knew, and I am sorry for not telling you as is required for S-ranked secrets and I honestly didn't know how to breach the subject to you," answered Sarutobi to which Naruto nodded, how do you tell a person that their parents had high tailed out of the Village so that they could train their younger sibling.
"And I'm sure you know all about it since the class that graduated was yours, right?" asked Minato but Sarutobi let out another sigh.
"Am I free to go, old man?" asked Naruto to which Sarutobi nodded.
"You can have the rest of the day off, I will be talking with my successor about certain things," answered Sarutobi as Naruto disappeared once again in a body flicker.
"Sarutobi, you shouldn't have let him go," said Kushina but the glare she received, they both did was enough to quiet down.
Naruto later sat at the Ramen Stand, eating his fourth ramen bowl, the poor boy looked appalled as he sat there and contemplated his life as a Shinobi, he had done many things but none were ever so annoying as this, he then felt a presence behind him, one that he was extremely familiar with and had known for a long time.
"Hey Kakashi sensei," said Naruto to which the white-haired Jounin sat down next to Naruto.
"How have you been recently, Naruto?" asked Kakashi, as his lone eye stared into his student.
"Great, sensei," said Naruto, a forced smile on his face.
"Sensei, why would they do that?" asked Naruto, his eyes showing his sadness to which Kakashi let out a sigh.
"I don't know, Naruto, " answered Kakashi as he sat with Naruto who attempted to process his feelings, "you know you don't have to forgive them for their actions or honestly say 'it's okay', you don't even need to maintain a relationship with your parents but your siblings didn't have a role in their choices, do not have them suffer for your actions, at least try with them."
Rumors had already begun to spread about the Fourth Hokage and Kushina Uzumaki having arrived in Konoha.
"I know, sensei, so I heard that they are forcing you to take a Genin Squad, sensei?" asked Naruto trying to change the subject, to which Kakashi looked down.
"I know it's horrible, I already had an apprentice, you, and now they are forcing me to take on the Last Uchiha, for some reason, I told them I could give the boy sharingan lessons when he needed it but no, I have to take a Genin team," ranted Kakashi as Naruto smiled sadly, "I've got to go, I've got a meeting with the Hokage."
"See ya later, sensei, and could luck with genin hopefuls," said Naruto, chuckling, but before Kakashi could leave, Naruto had an idea, one that would be hilarious, "Sensei, can you come on time to pick up the Genin."
"Why, Naruto?" asked Kakashi, as Naruto decided to explain.
"I have a little prank going on, they all are under the impression that I'm just pretending to be a shinobi," said Naruto, "it will be a shock for the Jounin as well if you are on time, I can just imagine what's going to happen."
Kakashi suddenly let out an evil chuckle, imagining the situation himself, as he left, Naruto let out a sigh and dropped being happy as he tried to think about what he would do.
What was worse was that they didn't know his skills and made baseless assumptions about him, and now were acting like he should just allow them back into his life.
AN: I'll be honest I'm just doing this to see why other fanfiction authors do it and I want an attempt at making a good story that doesn't have made-up abuse or something stupid like that, Naruto was never assaulted, he had a nice apartment on the rooftop that he doesn't keep clean nor is it run down, the spoiled milk and groceries was to clearly show how irresponsible Naruto is.
