Minato was sitting in his office, doing paperwork and waiting for an Anbu Black Ops to arrive. The mysterious Anbu Black Ops member known as 'Ko' was a part of Team Ro and was off yesterday meaning Minato didn't have to meet him though he did meet the other members of the Team such as Tenzo and Yugao, both of whom told them that he should introduce himself.

Of course, Minato's thoughts drifted to his young, estranged son who had refused every attempt to meet with him unless under direct order to meet with the Hokage which Minato wasn't going to give.

Now he was stuck in a conundrum, how to get his son to at least talk to him?

But for now, he had to just meet this last Anbu Black Ops member and go talk to his wife before tomorrow's announcement, he had plans to tell them that Naruto was his son and Naruko his daughter, believing that he could protect them and would order them to keep this fact private.

Suddenly in front of him arrived an Anbu Black Ops, dressed in a black cloak with the hood up and a cat mask. He was kneeling as was customary before getting up without being asked to.

"You summoned me, Lord Fourth?" asked Ko to which Minato nodded.

"Ko, I believe that you are the last member of Team Ro, I have to talk to you, please pull down your hood and take off your mask," ordered Minato to which the young Anbu nodded.

Naruto could handle professionalism, he could just keep him at arm's length without fear of him trying to attempt to form a relationship. He pulled down the hood, revealing his spiky blond hair Minato's eyes widened and the man began hoping that the Anbu in front of him wasn't who he thought it was as he moved towards the mask and removed it, revealing Naruto Uzumaki.

Minato's mind instantly began processing this information, attempting to understand what to do with it, Naruto was an Anbu? This meant that he passed the Academy, that he fought, and that he was trained by someone else, it meant that neither he nor Kushina was there for the important moments both happy and sad such as when he got his first kill, when he graduated the Academy, when he was accepted into Anbu and more.

There were also so many questions running through Minato's mind such as who trained him? When did he pass the Academy? When did he become an Anbu? How long was he an Anbu?

"Naruto, you're Ko?" asked Minato, as Naruto nodded.

"Do you need me for something, Lord Fourth or can I go?" asked Naruto as Minato sighed, he knew that Naruto wouldn't call him dad at all, he knew that the boy was angry at him and that despite their attempts he hadn't forgiven him.

"Yes, you will be guarding the Lord Third Hokage," answered Minato.

As soon as Naruto had gone through a body flicker, Minato called for Naruto's classified file brought to him which included a lot of intel for example who his sensei was. Kakashi Hatake.

He had him summoned as the Jounin entered through the window Minato looked at him unimpressed, what was it with shinobi and entering through windows?

"Kakashi, I have a few questions for you," said Minato.

"Yeah, yeah, let's get them over with," said Kakashi, waving his hand offhandly.

"First, when did Naruto graduate?" asked Minato.

"2 years ago," answered Kakashi.

"It states in his file that during the Academy, his skills sucked, was that true, and was it rectified?" asked Minato to which Kakashi looked at him unimpressed.

"When he became my apprentice, his skills were terrible but nowhere as bad as the Academy instructors suggested, I believe that most of them didn't help him when he needed it except for Iruka Umino who tried to help him but failed," explained the last Hatake, "I took him on as an apprentice and fixed Naruto's more glaring issues then let him run off on his own which resulted in his current level."

"What is his official rank to the public, etc?"

"He is currently a Chunin," answered Kakashi as Minato nodded, that would make sense

"When did he join Anbu?"

"It's been more than a year now," answered Kakashi as Minato's eyes widened, his son had been in Anbu that long without burnout.

"Why didn't you stop him?"

"I wanted him to experience the world through his own eyes, not have a veil or be shown parts of it, he needed to learn about this world himself, make his own mistakes, and decisions, and face the consequences," answered Kakashi thoughtfully.

"How good are his skills?" asked Minato, as Kakashi let out a small chuckle.

"Low Jounin level, we had a spar a few weeks ago and he is starting to complete the first step of mastering lightning nature transformation, in the coming months he will be Jounin Level comfortably," answered Kakashi as Minato's eyes widened and his mouth hanged open.

"If you've already taken Naruto as an apprentice before, why are you taking a Genin Team?"

"Simple, I'm being forced to be the Last Uchiha's sensei, I could just give him lessons and have him strapped with any old sensei but no because of how skilled Naruto's become, they believe that I can train anyone," ranted Kakashi annoyed, "even though his skills now have come as a result of his hard work, I didn't help him get to Chunin or Jounin level, he did it by himself, and making constant attempts at different subjects."

"Okay," said Minato as Kakashi waved at him before disappearing in a cloud of smoke Minato decided to take the day off, before telling his wife and oldest daughter what he had learned. Kushina was in tears as she read both the file and what Minato had told her.

The next day everyone was gathered outside the Hokage Residence where they found out that the Fourth Hokage was still alive and that he had children, finding out the identity of two of them Naruko Uzumaki and Naruto Uzumaki. The reactions were interesting to Naruto who was guarding the Fourth Hokage at the time much like many other Anbu.

Naruto was still angry at his father and Mother but was also beginning to get annoyed by the villagers and their attempts at earning his favor. Naruto had to tell them to leave him alone which they didn't do meaning Naruto was more reliant on the body flicker to get ready for Anbu missions arriving at the headquarters as he didn't want anyone to spot him.

Naruto was right now at the Hokage's office, acting as a guard for Minato by crouching above the man while using the transparency jutsu, his black cloak having been removed as he didn't need it, the Fourth was reading a file before looking up at him.

"Ko, how about you and I spar?" asked Minato with a small smile.

"No," replied Naruto as Minato looked annoyed but he decided that he had a better idea.

"Alright, I'm ordering you to spar against me," said Minato as he could feel the glare that Naruto was giving him.

"Fine," said the Anbu but Minato smiled not knowing that he would regret it.

"So you guys have heard about this?" asked a bushy-browed black-haired boy to his friends, a black-haired girl with her hair in buns and a boy with long hair as they sat at a table at a restaurant.

"Oh yeah, poor Naruto," said the long-haired boy as the both of them looked at him confused.

"What do you mean?" asked the girl, "Wouldn't he be happy to see his parents?"

"Tenten, Naruto hasn't seen his parents since his birth, they weren't in the Village and were training his sister, how happy is he supposed to be? Especially with how the villagers treat him," asked the long-haired boy, remembering what Naruto had told them about his life.

"Yeah, we should visit him at some time," replied the bushy-browed boy.

"I agree," said the girl as they planned to visit Naruto later.
