Batman and Frozen Crossover FanFiction 4: Feel It, Don't Mask It

Here it is, the long-awaited last story of my Batman and Frozen stories. I wish I would've had this written sooner, but you all know how life can keep you busy and distracted. This story takes place a month after my last Frozen story which was about going to the Southern Isles and fighting Hans. It starts off with Elsa and the rest celebrating Jacob's 19th birthday and him continuing his superhero identity as The Lemur while assisting Batman. The last Batman villain that the Frozen Cast will fight is Black Mask who wants to become the new king of Arendelle and having a fresh start after knowing he'll never become the top boss of Gotham again. This leads to a whole new adventure which involves Elsa, Anna, and the rest fighting to save their kingdom from a potential tyrant, bringing Batman in on the action; as well as the Red Hood. I'm sure lots of you were disappointed with how Black Mask was advertised to be the big bad guy in Arkham Origins, but ended up having such a small role after it came out. I want to give him that chance in my story, just like I gave other villains in the Arkham Games who were so under used a chance as a good main villain in my other stories like Two-Face and Deathstroke. Batman belongs to DC Comics and was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. Frozen belongs to Disney and is based on "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Anderson. Batman is in his Arkham City look with the late great Kevin Conroy reprising his definitive role. Black Mask is in his Arkham Origins look with Brian Bloom reprising his role. Elsa is in her Ice Dress from Frozen and Anna is in her Elsa's Coronation Dress, Winter Dress, and Summer Dress from Frozen in this story. Enjoy!

Feel It, Don't Mask It

Synopsis: Jacob officially turns 19 and Elsa, along with the rest of Arendelle want to make it a special day for him. During the same time, Black Mask wants to start anew somewhere other than Gotham and decides to choose Arendelle to set up his new empire. This involves him threatening Elsa to give the throne over to him before he takes it by force. After refusing and getting on the crime lord's bad side, they are immediately marked for death which makes them join forces with Batman one last time along with the Red Hood coming along with them to stop Sionis' tyrannical rule as King of Arendelle.

Chapter 1: Putting Out The Penguin

It was a night just like any other night in Gotham City with the city's sole protector out and about. The great Batman himself was currently stalking the Iceberg Lounge where Penguin's men were bringing dozens of weapons caches right to him. He wasn't alone though as his friend and helper, Jacob alias The Lemur was staking out the place with him. "Thanks for coming along with me for this, Jake.", Batman said. "Of course. I'm glad you called me. It's been like a month since we last saw each other.", Jacob said. "I know. I've been busy. Just recently, I worked with an old friend of mine from Star City to take down a shared enemy of ours. I understand you said that you had to deal with an old enemy of Elsa' last month.", Batman said. "Yeah, we did. We've both had our own things going on. Shall we make our move?", he asked. "We shall. Batman said as he got out his grapple gun and fired it so it would hook onto the lounge. "How am I going to get across? I don't have one of those things?", Jacob asked. "Those boots Lucius gave you should allow you to jump far enough.", Batman said as he grappled onto the building. The boots did just as Batman said as they gave the Lemur the boost he needed to get across. "Still figuring out how to work these things.", Jacob said. Batman teared open a grate that led to a ventilation shaft. They both crawled through so they could see what was going on inside. Penguin was with his men inspecting the caches that were delivered to him. "Lovely, lads. You blokes certainly delivered quite a present for me. These are just the weapons I need for me to declare this city as my own.", Penguin said. "You really think you'll be able to, boss?", one thug asked. "I know I will. In the last year or two, most of my competition have either been arrested or gone to Hell! The clown choked on his last laugh in Arkham City, Maroni's rotting in jail, Ol' Harvey fell off of a roof and broke his neck, Thorne got eaten by giant bugs, and now all the Falcones are dead. The only real competition I have left is that old geezer with the puppet. I highly doubt that loonie will be a problem. And Harley can't be considered a threat without her puddin'. This city will finally belong to Oswald Cobblepot!", Penguin said with excitement. "Not on your life, Cobblepot!", Batman said from above. Batman and The Lemur landed on the ground and were getting ready for a fight with the criminals in front of them. "Oh, bloody Hell! It's Batman and that monkey lad!", Penguin said with fright. "I'm a lemur, not a monkey! I really don't think it's that hard to remember that.", Jacob said sounding annoyed. "Don't just stand there, kill them!", Penguin ordered his men. They all started to come at the two vigilantes, but didn't prove to be much of a challenge as they were easily able to counter each of their punches and knock each of them out quickly. "Kick his ass, you numpty prats!", Penguin said frustrated at the sight of his men being defeated. His men kept coming at them, but to no avail as they continued getting taken out until there were none left. Once the two heroes started to come towards Penguin, the crime lord got out his umbrella and pointed it at them. "Put down the umbrella, Penguin. You're coming with us.", Batman said. "Like Hell I will, Bat!", Penguin shot back. He then fired his umbrella right into Batman's chest that knocked him off his feet and onto his back. "Hope that felt good, you son of a bitch!", Penguin said cockily. "That wasn't very nice. And I was told you were called the Gentleman of Crime.", the Lemur said. "Keep ya yap shut, big eyes! You'll get yours too.", Penguin said as he was getting his umbrella ready to fire again. Jacob didn't hesitate as he charged at Penguin before he could attack and began performing a beatdown on him. After one final uppercut, Penguin landed on his back and was down for the count. Jacob turned his attention back to Batman and helped him get back on his feet. "You okay?", he asked. "I'm fine. I've taken worse shots than that. I'll have Alfred patch it up back home.", Batman said as he was looking at the bloody wound in his chest. I thought that suit was bulletproof?", he asked. "Everywhere except the bat symbol which is where he hit me. Don't worry, I'll be fine.", Batman said. Batman turned his attention to the weapon caches that were brought in and used his explosive gel to destroy every single one of them. Later on, the GCPD arrived at the club to arrest Penguin and his men once Batman forwarded the evidence regarding the caches to Gordon. Batman and the Lemur observed the whole thing up on the rooftops in front of the lounge. "That was some pretty good teamwork, don't you think?", Jacob asked his mentor. "Yes, you did good tonight.", Batman said in his usual emotionless tone. "Hey, can I ask you something?", Jacob asked. "What is it?", Batman asked. "Are you happy?", he asked. "Excuse me?", Batman said with surprise as he didn't expect to be asked something like that. "I just mean that I know your life definitely took a bad turn when your parents were killed and that's why you started all this. I guess I mean are you at least somewhat content with how things turned out. As far as you meeting people like me, my friends, your other allies, and whoever else? And the fact you also have Alfred who has always been with you.", Jacob asked with concern for his mentor. Batman turned to face him and replied, "The one thing I was sure of when I first became Batman is that I didn't count on being happy. I chose this life because this is what I was destined for. I became what Gotham needed when she was at her worst.". "I get that. I guess I'm just concerned about you. How you just always seem so broody and all that. I mean, I know that's how you are, but I just hope you find some joy in something if it's not this.", Jacob said. "You don't need to worry about me, Jacob. Your concern is appreciated, but it's not necessary. Why don't you go home. You have friends and a pretty girl waiting for you.", Batman said. "Alright. I'll see you later.", Jacob said as left. Batman stood silent while standing on the ledge as he thought what he was asked. Deep down, he knew he wanted to abandon this life to try to live a normal one, especially since he wonders if he has made a good impact here at all. It wasn't until he showed up that the costumed lunatic crisis became a thing. But for the time being, he knew he had to kept going. He would continue to be the one who protects Gotham for as long as she needs him.
