He'd come home one day to discover his pet bird on the floor of the cage.
Its head faced behind, the wrong way around on its neck.
And not understanding, he'd taken the whole cage to his uncle.
Who scratched his head, staring at the bird, hoping to turn this into a lesson but not sure how.

Then he snapped his fingers, took the cage from his nephew and told him to follow.
The bird, head still around the wrong way, was connected to all manner of wires.
"Look," his uncle said. "Watch."
When the circuit would close, the little bird would move.
Its claws would curl and its legs would hop, just like it would dance around in its cage when he'd come home!

It made him so happy to see the bird dance!
