Chapter 15
After roughly 6 more hours of flight, we arrived at the Rail Canyon at sunrise, meaning we had 3 more days left until Metal Sonic launched his attack.
"How much time we got to find Metal Sonic?" the real Sonic asked.
"We have 3 days left, but who knows of what he might pull next?" Tails said with concern, us nodding as I then looked around the canyon, it being roughly 3 miles and filled with tons of bends, turns, and TONS of rails and buildings.
"We're going to need to split up for this one. Team Sonic, you go that way," I said, pointing to my left. ",Team Shadow, you go towards the right canyons. And my group will go forward. And if you see any blue robots, destroy them and rescue the Chao trapped within," I said, them nodding as our groups then rushed off and I tried to sense for Metal Sonic, only to find he'd managed to actually split himself into three parts! And he had spread himself to the three areas listed!
"He's cloned himself?! How the fuck can he do that?" I asked in shock... only for me to immediately regret it as I saw that there was a group of four ahead of us... and one of them had her ears perked up and looked at us in surprise, despite being a hundred feet ahead of us.
"Is that Amy? And Big? And that little rabbit girl?" Tikal asked, me nodding as we then joined up with them at the very start of Bullet Station. And as for the other 5 Chao? I could sense Sonic's team defeating them and rescuing the Chao as well.
"Oh, hello there, miss Cheryl! Why did you curse?" Cream asked, me smacking my face at that.
"I wouldn't have done so if I'd known you were within earshot... sorry you had to hear that, Cream," I sighed, her giggling at me.
"It's okay, I know not to say those words. If I ever got caught saying that stuff around my momma, I'd get spanked and then she'd ground me for 3 days!" Cream said, me smirking at how strict her mom was. Very good parenting, so long as the spanking was just hard enough to get the point.
"Have you seen that Doctor Eggman around, lately? We're trying to find him so he can tell us where Froggy and Chocola are!" Amy said, her handing me a photo from the newspaper clipping of Sonic running off with the two little guys and rushing towards a visage of Eggman.
"We haven't, but we have seen a very mean robot that I know for a fact kidnapped Froggy and Chocola," I said, that making the duo of bunny and cat gasp.
"Froggy got kidnapped by a robot? We have to find him!" Big said with seriousness as I then tried to sense for the duo of frog and Chao and saw that they were in the one we were closest to, due north.
"I sense them this way! Let's go get 'em before he runs off again," I said, us running and grinding on rails through the canyon... minus me. Why? I was unskilled at riding the rails and often ended up either grinding my crack against the metal rails or hanging onto them with my fingers. So, I just ended up flying with the powers of the green emerald... as for the Chaos Emerald in this area? I saw that it was in Amy's possession, which she was keeping under her short dress alongside her magical hammer.
"Amy? Question on the way to find this evil robot," I said, us managing to defeat all the 5 blue robots and rescuing the Chao trapped in them.
"What's your question?" she asked.
"How can your hammer change size so easily and how did you happen to acquire it?" I asked, her smirking at that.
"I actually got the hammer from the Little Planet back when I first met Sonic. Shortly after he thwarted Eggman and Metal Sonic, I found the hammer on the planet before it left," Amy smiled... and then, the Egg Albatross emerged in front of us along the path.
"Uh-oh, speaking of Metal Sonic..." Maria said, us seeing that the blue chrome robot was in the cockpit at the top, but the machine was actually colored purple as opposed to being red.
"Wait, METAL SONIC?! He's the one that we've been chasing after?!" Amy asked in shock.
"Yes, and we need to get him captured and get him to cough up Chocola and Froggy AND give Chaos back her powers. Let's get him before he flies off!" I said, since it looked like the robot hadn't noticed us yet... oddly. And what did I do as my first attack? I flew up to the blimp from behind and punched my fist through it with fire, causing the helium within the blimp to ignite and cause the blimp and everything underneath of it to explode and fall!
"ACK! YOU?! Retreat!" Metal Sonic shouted, me rushing after the bastard as he was in the remains of the battleship with the purple Egg Hawk and tried to fly off in it... but I simply powered up my foot with purple emerald energy, jumped from canyon wall to wall before then slamming my powered-up foot into the side of the Egg Hawk! And the kick was so strong, it managed to make the giant ship lose control and crash right into the path we were currently running on! And shortly after, Metal Sonic fell out of the cockpit... or that's what he wanted us to think! I could sense that he had cloned himself a third time and then flew off into the distance while being invisible!
"Yes! We got him!" Chaos smirked... before I came back down and shook my head no.
"No, he got away," I frowned, them looking at me and then at Metal Sonic's copy... before it then completely faded away, making them gasp.
"I-It's just a stupid COPY!" Amy shouted at it as she stomped her foot on the ground.
"Froggy... I miss him so much..." Big said, me seeing that he was very upset.
"That robot is really mean! We need to find him and rescue our friends from him! Who knows what he's going to do with Chocola and Froggy! Where is the real one at, miss Cheryl?" Cream asked with seriousness.
"Chocola Chao..." Cheese said sadly, me then sensing that Metal Sonic had gone to the south for a change. Towards the jungle.
"He's going very far south. I think he might be going to the fleet of ships he plans to use to conquer the world instead of Eggman! We need to get after him, and fast!" I said with seriousness.
"Then maybe you can use your Chaos Control on us to send us there faster?" Amy asked.
"Only if there's a sentient life in that forest that isn't Metal Sonic, because it doesn't work when it's multiple creatures in one body," I said, her looking confused as I then sensed a bit harder... and I gasped. There was a singular person in that jungle that I sensed... someone that was from the stupid reboot game Sonic Boom!... Or rather the cartoon of the game.
"I got something! Okay, I'll also warp Teams Sonic and Shadow along with us," I said, Amy then looking to be ready to scream before I said one more thing. "And Amy, while we're doing this, no throwing yourself at, chasing after, or incessantly kissing Sonic, got it?" I said, her pouting at that.
"Hmph! Fine, but I do want at least one kiss!" she said, me then smiling as Tikal approached her and kissed her on the cheek, that making Amy pout even further as I then executed Chaos Control to warp to the area in question. And who was the person?
"ACK! Government creeps! Get away from me, or I'll slam ya down right quick!" shouted the crazy voice of Sticks the Badger, her looking exactly like how I'd imagine her to look in the normal series... but her clothes, hairstyle, and color scheme did remain the same. And she was holding a boomerang in hand and looked extremely fidgety.
"Whoa, whoa, we're not here for you, miss. We're hoping to find a mean blue robot," I said, that making her look at me in wariness before then approaching me on all fours and sniffing me all over... sure, it fit her character, but it still creeped me out.
"Hmm... what does this blue robot smell like?" she asked, me looking at her in confusion. How could I answer that?... As for Tails?
"Like oil and metal... with a hint of frog and Chao," he said, me looking at him in confusion.
"Huh?" I asked.
"I'm a fox. I have amazing smell. That's how I know when you haven't showered," Tails said, me then sniffing my pits and frowning. He was right and I hadn't even realized it!
"If that's the case, I've both smelled and seen one like that," Sticks said, that making Tikal smiled.
"Can you point the way where he's at? He plans to rule the world and we need to stop him," Tikal said... before she then got sniffed all over by Sticks, which made the badger gasp.
"Whoa... ancient echidna!" she gawked, me looking at her in even more confusion.
"How could you tell she was ancient?" Rouge asked.
"Remind me to smack you on the head later for that, Rouge," I smiled at her.
"She smells like ancient tools I use. Ancient tools from the echidna tribe. This jungle was part of their ruling empire long ago. I'm in charge of looking after this place... long-kept promise to Mistress Shina," she said, that making Tikal gasp.
"That... that was my grandmother's name! Your family has looked after this jungle all this time?" Tikal asked... but before she could say anything else, I heard the zooming of a robot rush past us, me looking in the air and seeing none other than Metal Sonic flying towards the south!
"ACK! There's Metal Sonic! Where does he think he's going in such a hurry?" Chaos asked in anger.
"To an ancient castle south of the jungle. It's an ancient Echidna castle over 6 thousand years ago, but it got cursed. I dunno why that blue robot is going there, but he is ruining sacred ground!" Sticks said, me looking at her and nodding.
"Mind telling us your name before we head out to stop him?" I asked.
"Sticks Badger! Get rid of his robots in these grounds and I'll be in your debt, weirdo friends," she smiled at us.
"You got it, Sticks," Amy smirked as we then rushed into the jungle itself and proceeded to get to not only destroying all the robots we could find, but also rescuing the Chao trapped in the blue robots. We continued to do this until we got to the Lost Jungle, where we noticed that there were numerous other Chao that were around and being hunted by the robots! We did the same thing with them as before and rescued all the Chao we found, there being about 10 of them as well as the 5 in the blue robots. But only when we had finished had we encountered the final team in the game, that being Team Chaotix... and they even had Mighty with them! And Vector looked at me with a serious look.
"Excuse me, miss. I was wondering if I could as you and your group something," Vector asked as I then looked at the other members in the group and smiled.
"Uh... which miss? Cause there's, like, 8 of us," I smiled after counting all the girls in the group, including me.
"I was talking to you," he said, obviously getting annoyed.
"What's the question?" I asked.
"We wanted to know if that Chao of yours there is owned by someone or not," Vector asked, me looking at Cream and her holding Cheese close to her.
"Yes, it's already owned by Cream here. Is there anything else you want to ask, or can we ask a question?" I asked.
"That was a question," Mighty said, me frowning at that.
"Okay, I already don't like the armadillo," I frowned at his statement.
"Hmph! We're trying to find out where that Doctor Eggman is at! We're gonna get paid handsomely for beating him for our client," Vector said widely.
"I see... so how about we work together? We're after a metal robot that's actually impersonating Eggman and trying to rule the world," I said, that making Charmy gasp.
"Wait, what?! That Eggman we've been chasing after is a fake?!" he asked... though not at all sounding like he normally did. He sounded like... a normal kid would? Not an annoyingly spastic bee that I was used to?
"Yes, we learned that the hard way," Shadow frowned.
"So are we going to go or what? Because we have learned he's heading to the castle due south of here for some reason!" I smirked.
"Really? That's our next location as well," Espio said with seriousness.
"Then let's get going! More heads means more power, after all," Knuckles smirked.
"Yeah, nice to see you too, Knuckles," Vector said, me smiling at that. So Knuckles Chaotix WAS canon after all!
"Let's get going, then. By my calculations, the castle should be roughly 3 hours south of our current position if we fly there," Espio said with seriousness as his group then had Charmy fly them away in the Fly formation, me looking at the little bee with surprise at how he was able to fly so effortlessly, even with three Mobians holding onto him!
"Whoa, that's one tough insect," said the voice of Sticks... me seeing that she was hiding in the swamp with just her eyes emerging from the water.
"Well, looks like someone beat you at one thing Sonic. Sticks can swim," I smiled at him.
"Most of us can't, actually. It's hard for Mobians to learn it for some reason," Tails admitted, me smirking at that.
"It is impossible for me to swim as well. I am a robot, so I would perish," Omega admitted, me nodding at that. We then proceeded to go to the air with our own different powers (Cream was very good at flying with her gigantic ears) and proceeded towards our new destination. Three hours more... good thing I had grabbed a couple of fruits from the jungle on the way.
"Don't eat that fruit, mate!" said Sticks, me gasping at how she was still with us! But where? "Down here, weirdo!" Sticks said, me looking at my chest and looking at her in surprise... she was now the same size as the Chaos Emeralds!... And she had added another to the stash I had in my bra!
"How? How can you shrink?" I asked her.
"Ancient Badger family secret," she smirked as she then simply stayed in there, me looking at the others and them being confused at how she was now in my bra. "I'll chill here for now. I expect you lot to let me at that steel sucker when we get a chance!" Sticks smirked widely... which caused Maria to fly next to me and look at me in confusion.
"So... did you know about her being in there?" Maria asked me, me shaking my head no.
"She surprised me, and I am kinda weirded out with how she chose my bra... just so long as she doesn't do anything naughty, I'll allow it," I said.
"Aw, cripes!... Fine," she complied, me frowning at that. She was a lesbian and she was into me. I had to hope she didn't really try anything funny with me, especially since I still wasn't into the whole furry thing.
