Chapter 33:
The way back definitely took a bit of extra time, mainly because we didn't want to hurt our new allies from running too fast. So, we went at a much less fast speed of 80 mph, giving some spare, non-teleporter goggles to the chilly ladies, Yin, and Yang so they wouldn't have their eyes watering.
And of course, I had to ask them some questions on the way back, primarily to everyone except Elsa, as she wasn't really much of a talker, which was most likely due to heartbreak.
The first subject I spoke to was with Priscilla, as she was in my grasp and despite her size and stature, she weighed as much as I did. "Hey, Priscilla? Just wanted to ask, always wanted to know... who were your parents?" I asked, the mini-giantess looking concerned before then sighing.
"I've... never been asked about it before... my father was Seath, back when he was still sane of mind... and my mother was Ariamas, one of the royal house of Lord Gwyn... when the situation turned dour, mother created the painting with her life, body, and mind, designed to hide me away from Seath... if he knew of the powers I had, he would've wanted them all for himself," Priscilla sighed.
"Sorry if I brought up old wounds, then..."
"It's quite alright... I don't miss my world one bit... it felt like a prison at times, no one to speak to that hadn't gone and become a monster... and anyone who visited rarely showed me kindness..." she sighed.
"Do you still have the Lifedrain powers?"
"I do, but I don't use it unless I am attacked by another... I steal the life energy of those that would try to kill me and their bodies, at least in my world, would become hollow and covered in boils."
"That's... honestly kinda scary to think about," Amy admitted, her having the honor of carrying Elsa, who was definitely the coldest of the bunch due to her being the Ice Queen in Disney form... but as expected, she also hated the moniker.
"Next question is for Yinyang and Tirsiak... I know it may seem stupid to ask this, but before you were placed in the mansion, where did you come from?" I asked, Tirsiak speaking first before anything else.
"Don't talk of that horrid place ever again. I hate it when I think of what they did to me and many others in that place..." the forest deity whined, almost like a dog.
"I wasn't asking about there, but before then, where did you come from?"
"Fine... I came from a forest in Alaska, where I was revered as a goddess by the inuit peoples... they were very kind to the wildlife and made sure that they followed the rules of nature. Only the strong survive and, when you kill an animal, use every bit of it, leave none to waste... then I was yanked from that because of a little blue brat..." she sighed.
"Hey, I didn't do anything to you," Sonic said, which was one of those moments where I wished I could smack my face.
"Sonic, she's talking about someone else. A ghost that was wickedly evil and wanted to kill people to unleash a ghost army to haunt the world," I frowned.
"Oh... okay, sorry..." Sonic frowned.
"It's quite alright... after all, you're an animal, as well, just with the sensibilities of humanity," Tirsiak sighed.
"And you, Yin and Yang?" I asked, the duo speaking at the same time as each other.
"We used to be a combined form known as Fengshue, the embodiment of balance... but then, the same thing that happened to Tirsiak happened to us, but much worse..." they relayed. "We were experimented on ruthlessly until they separated our balance completely... We became Yin and Yang, positive and negative... cute and horrifying... even to one as brave as your blue friend was terrified of our negative form."
I then looked to Sonic on my right and decided to ask him something, too. "What did you see when you saw Yang's true form?" I asked, him then gulping a bit.
"I uh... I-I saw you... bleeding all over and with a mouth that went from ear to ear in a v-shape... and it opened to reveal tons of sharp teeth..." Sonic admitted.
"Aw, he's scared of you," Amy smiled.
"No, it's more he's scared of what may happen if someone as strong as Cheryl would turn to darkness," Elsa said, breaking the ice (haha) for a once.
"Uh, yeah... exactly," Sonic admitted.
"Sonic, I'll say this right now, I want nothing but to make sure this world is safe from anything evil. And even if that means we have to keep hurting Eggman's plans until we're older than he is, we're going to keep up the good fight," I smiled at him.
"Okay... thanks," Sonic smirked. I then looked at the other girls afterwards and saw they were getting tired, so, I decided to try and contact someone who might help.
"Hey, Phoenix?" I asked in thought. "If you can hear me... can you help these guys out? They come from different universes and were experimented on terribly... is it possible to help them return to normal?" Phoneix wasted no time in responding.
"I can assist Yinyang to become Fengshue again, as well as make it so that Tirsiak can re-establish her link with the wild, but the other two, Elsa and Priscilla, I cannot do anything for... well, no, that's half-true. I could give Priscilla a true soul instead of the dark ones she has, and I could always bring Anna to your location with the same curse of immortality and eternal youth that Elsa has... but you'd need to ask her first," Phoneix said, me nodding at that.
"Okay, everything but Elsa, try and do now? And talk to them in their minds after," I smirked, me then looking at Elsa and Amy and deciding to take a rest stop by an oasis about 10 miles away from Shamar.
"Why are we stopping?" Priscilla asked as I then got some water from the oasis as the awesomeness happened. Tirsiak gasped as she then looked around in confusion, her tail going up from surprise as she looked around and at me.
"I... I can feel the call of the wild... I feel their thoughts... is this real?" she asked in shock as Yin and Yang then looked to be jittering a bit before then merging back together into their original form, it being one that looked almost like a cat woman that was half darkened and half whitened, Yin and Yang, perfectly in balance with each other. And her eyes were just like that of Monokuma with one being normal and the other being bright red. But it was in the form of the dark eye on the Yin side and the normal eye on the Yang side.
"Whoa! What's going on?!" Chip asked in shock as Priscilla then gasped as she felt her chest and then looked to wince slightly.
"I feel... some kind of energy inside of me... is this... a true soul? Not a Dark Soul?" she asked, me nodding at that.
"See, I asked the Phoenix to see if they could help you all out and give you something important back to you. Yinyang is now Fengshue once again, Priscilla is now a true mortal with a soul to work with, and Tirsiak now has her link with the wild returned... as for you, Elsa, I wanted to ask you a very serious question," I said, her looking at me with a frown. "Would you be willing to have Anna be warped to us, so long as she was also immortal and unageing? From the day that you last saw each other?" I asked, Elsa's eyes going wide before she then got super happy.
"YES!" she said, me nodding as a bit of a light show happened right next to Elsa and, right next to her, a girl with brown hair appeared who was wearing a dress of red and purple who looked around in confusion before I saw that the Phoenix was speaking to her in thought. Explaining the situation quickly and effectively as Anna then saw Elsa in the flesh.
"E-Elsa?" Anna asked, the ice queen looking at Anna and touching their hands together, Anna smirking at the chill that came after.
"We're back together again?... I... thank you, Cheryl... what can I do to repay you?" Elsa asked, me smirking at that.
"Live life to the fullest and help us keep this world safe. That's all that I really want from you," I said, Elsa smirking and giving me a hug, me feeling that my body was getting very cold as a bit of ice formed on my arms and sides, but I didn't care, it just felt nice to be cold in the desert.
"Well, after this, we should get back on track. We should be back in time to grab a bite to eat and then, after that, we're off to the next place on the list, Adabat," Sonic smiled.
"Yeah, I can't wait!" Chip smirked, us then going back on track to the area in question, me carrying three people again in the form of Anna, Fengshue, and Priscilla, the former one being confused at our appearances and asking something.
"Question, do you happen to be a dragon crossbreed?" Anna asked her.
"Yes, I am. My name is Priscilla," the dragoness smiled calmly.
"And what are you three supposed to be? I understand the tiny one with the wings is some kind of fae creature, but what are you three? Specifically the ones carrying everyone?" Anna asked.
"We're Mobians, but Cheryl is a third Mobian, a third human, and a third Chao. Mobians are animals that became humanoid with human sentience," Amy explained for me.
"Thanks, Amy," I smiled as we then managed to run the whole way back to town before the sun set in the distance, our forms changing the moment we reached the lab of Professor Pickle in Shamar.
"Whoa! What happened to you lot? Your forms look feral, but your minds are the same!" Tirsiak asked in shock.
"It's because of Dark Gaia, who we need to get rid of to get rid of a lot of bad things in this world," I smirked.
"And may we get an explanation as to who these ladies are? Each one looks very different... and... oo... v-very chilly all of a sudden," Tails shivered from their presence making a bit of ice start to appear in the building.
"We used to be former test subjects at Area 51, from three different worlds. I come from a kingdom called Arendale from another universe and I am a uh..." Elsa was about to finish before I said it in a cooler way.
"A cryomancer. She's able to create ice and snow with no ill effect to herself," I explained.
"And I'm her sister, but I have no such powers. She's Elsa, I'm Anna," Anna smiled.
"I am Tirsiak and I originated in another world in the spectral plane... but then I was kidnapped twice. Once by a bratty blue ghost so I could kill people, which I hated, and again by the bastards at Area 51," Tirsiak frowned.
"I uh... I see... you killed people before?" Cream asked in concern.
"But we hated to do it, but we had no choice. If we refused, we'd have been killed," Fengshue sighed. "I was from that world as well, but I was split into two different forms. My positive Yin side was in the form of a talking cat, but my negative side, Yang, took the form of the worst fears of whoever saw them. For those with trauma, they became a Wall of Flesh... but we don't want to hurt anyone anymore... just to protect. And I am now Fengshue, thanks to miss Cheryl Martinez and her Phoenix friend."
After that was said, it was Priscilla's turn. "And I'm Priscilla... apologies if you're concerned for my size... I'm a crossbreed of demigoddess and dragon..." she sighed.
"No way... a dragon was your parent! I'm so jealous! I wish I could meet a real dragon!" Cream smiled widely.
"Sorry, but my father wasn't a kind dragon... I'd rather not talk about it," Priscilla sighed.
"Uh, ahem... we kinda need to get the knowledge of where Adabat is, Professor. We know that's where the final Super Emerald will be as well as the next temple," I smiled.
"But of course, here is the location," he smiled as he pointed out it was in an area that made me smile.
"Hawaii, huh? Aloha oi," I smirked as I then went out of the building and our group then proceeded to get some food before we got in our respective rides, with the group of icy damsels getting their own rides with Priscilla revealing she had large fluffy wings, Tirsiak producing a large falcon to ride on, and Anna being carried by Elsa on a conjured ice slide, which made me smile.
"Frozone powers," I said to myself as I then had my regular group of girls get on a new rid in the form of an illusion in the form of a roller coaster, which made Rouge, Cream, Amy, and Cosmo a bit concerned.
"This isn't going to go all jerky on us, is it?" Rouge asked.
"No, but it is going to go fast," I smiled widely as I then gave the goggles back to Tails along with the others. I then made sure everyone had their belts on and then had the coaster get going into the air and then had us get to rolling through the air at a pace of roughly 50 mph, which Cream was screaming in glee at.
"WHEEE! This feels awesome! HAHAHA!" she giggled, me smiling at her. Despite her becoming more mature, she was still a child of innocence. I just hoped that she would be happy in the future...
"I know what you're thinking of, Cheryl," Shahra said, me blushing at her. "Don't worry, though. Your secret's safe with me." I sighed in relief at that. Again.
