Okay, so the flashbacks won't be as detailed as last time, because we all know that Harry is regaining every last memory. I'm just writing it now, mostly to see how a grown, more mature Harry would react to it, but first, let's see how Zeref is doing. On to the chapter! XD
86
Zeref awoke with a pounding headache. He messaged his head to get rid of the pain, or at least most of it. It took about a minute or two for the pulsing to go away, which allowed him to finally find out what happened.
The 400 years old dark mage looked around at his surroundings. He was still on Tenrou Island, but that couldn't be right. Didn't Acnologia destroy the island? Zeref looked up to where the sky was supposed to be, only to see a golden light surrounding the whole island. Past the barrier, Zeref could see fish. 'That means we're under water,' he realized.
Zeref stood up and checked the members of Fairy Tail. They seem to be just sleeping, but no matter how much he tried he couldn't get even a twitch from them in response. At first, Zeref thought they were dead, but then he decided it must be a type of coma since their hearts were beating. Either way, he was worried that his curse would come out and kill them.
He tried to not think about his curse and the life around him by going over to check on Harry, who was still a giant snake. He was no better off than the rest of the guild. Zeref could see a slight twitch of the eye, but that was about it.
"Why can I move, but not the others?" he wondered. He also thought of what he should do, only to draw blanks within his mind. He had no idea on what to do for the time being, or how to help take care of this many people while they slept.
Zeref was snapped out of his musing by a soft, wispy sound coming from behind some trees that were beyond Harry's head. He turned to face the owner of the sound. Standing beside a tree was a figure that Zeref didn't recognize. "Who are you...?"
~Harry's memories~
Harry remembered everything of the summer after his first year of school and leading up to the second. He's got to say: why didn't anyone call the cops? Who in their right mind could look at a window that had bars on it and think everything was okay? They should have seen him since he liked to chill by the window all the time, and yet no one in their small town thought that what was going on was child imprisonment. Harry was impressed that it wasn't just wizards that were stupid. It was also the people of this town.
How did this happen? A house elf was what happened. Harry, for about a month, fooled his family into thinking that he could use magic on them, but that didn't last long thanks to that house elf using magic, which got him a warning letter about using magic. This all lead up to Harry being caged inside his own bedroom. Why couldn't the magical world realize that the magic that was done in the house was not from a human? If it weren't for Ron, Fred, and George, Harry was sure he would not have gotten to Hogwarts that year.
~Year two~
Okay, Harry couldn't believe Dumbledore hired that fake, Gilderoy Lockhart. Back at the alley, Harry only had to take one look at him and knew that that guy was just full of himself. Why were all the girls falling for such an act? None of the girls in Fairy Tail would have fallen for this. It is not so easy to trick a girl into falling for someone like that anymore.
It was during this year that Harry learned he could talk to snakes, which lead to everyone shunning him... again. When Halloween rolled around with a bloody message on the wall, everyone pointed at him besides all the teachers and Slytherins. 'You know something is messed up when Slytherins are not sneering at you for something that's got the whole school doing it,' present Harry thought.
Later on in the year, Harry found a black, leather-bound book with blank pages. It took him some time to find out that the book could write back, and present Harry wondered why he didn't give it to Dumbledore right then and there. If he had, would that have prevented Ginny from going into the Chamber of Secrets, leading to him and Ron following and Lockhart to lose his memories, which lead to a cave in, making Harry be the only one who could move forward to stop Tom Riddle AKA Voldemort and nearly getting eaten by a basilisk? The answer was yes. None of this would have happened if Dumbledore was given the darn book. It is also the Ministry's fault for not allowing the school to get better wards. At least Harry thinks that was the case. If not then... that would mean Dumbledore knew the diary was somewhere in the school and did nothing about it.
Oh yeah, and Harry also saved the house elf that had been trying to kill him all year as a way of protecting him. It was funny how a 12 years old Harry out Slytherin a Slytherin.
~Summer before year three~
The summer started out good...ish, until she showed up. Harry hated his aunt Marge. Even to this day he still hated her, and she had been dead for at least 500 years. 'Okay so...I was asleep those 500 years, but still!' Harry tried making a deal with his uncle. Harry would behave for the entire time Marge was there, and once she left, his uncle would sign his permission slip to Hogsmeade. He was on the last day, and Marge went too far. She said the wrong thing in front of Harry about his DEAD parents, angering him to the point his magic went out of control. His magic made his Aunt Marge blow up like a balloon with helium. He ran away after that, only to stop by the park and see a big, black dog across the street.
A blue bus showed up right afterward, making Harry lose sight of the beast. He got in the knight bus and went to the Leaky Cauldron, where he found his friends a few days later.
Before they got on the train to Hogwarts, Mr. Weasley told Harry about not looking for a fugitive named Sirius Black. At the time, Harry didn't understand why except knowing that Black may be after him because Harry was the one to have "killed" Voldemort.
~Year Three~
How rare are dementors in Harry's current day and age? He wanted to know, because he hates them. He remembered that the darn things kept trying to kill him every time they got near. Why are all of the people in the Ministry idiots? Who in their right mind thought that sending dementors to a school full of children was a good idea? They should have sent aurors instead. It would have been safer for everyone.
Besides those monsters and Black, not much happened that year. Black did come into the boy's dorm one night, but now that Harry thought about it, why was he over Ron's bed? That should have been his hint that something wasn't right. Everyone knew what Harry looked like by now, and Black should have seen him in person when Harry was just a baby. Plus, Scabbers was acting strange ever since they got there. Harry should have known that the rat wasn't really a rat. Those poor creatures only live for 2 to 3 years. This thing lived up to 12 at least!
Harry found out why the rat lived so long. It was because it was a human, and the real betrayer of his parents. That same night, he, Ron, and Hermione found out that Lupin was a werewolf. 'Wait...back up! Did Snape push me behind him after he found out that a werewolf was there?' present Harry thought.
Shortly after Lupin heard a howl and ran off, Harry chased after Sirius, who had become weakened after his fight with the werewolf. Harry tried to fight off the dementors – again, who came up with that idea? Alas, it almost got both of them killed. If it weren't for his future self, Harry was sure they'd be dead. Wait a minute... If that was the case... How did he survive the first time in that time loop to be able to save himself in the past? 'No! Bad Harry! Don't think of that kind of stuff! You'll only hurt your head!'
Although, speaking of time travel, Harry and Hermione were able to save Sirius from being kissed by the dementors. That gave Harry someone that was still family who cared about him. That was until two years later.
~Summer before fourth year~
Well, this summer ended with a bang! Harry had gone with the Weasleys to the Quidditch World Cup, and when the game ended, Death Eaters show up and destroyed the camp. Crouch tried to blame Harry for the Dark Mark in the sky, since it was his wand that was used, but then they saw a house elf with Harry's wand, so the blame fell onto her, setting her free from Crouch's ownership. Poor thing fell into depression. Present and past Harry knew it wasn't her fault, because they saw who put the mark in the sky, but would anyone listen – besides Harry's friends? No.
~Fourth year~
Harry thought he was going to have a fun year this time, because he was too young to participate in the Triwizard Tournament. That meant his life would not be in danger. He spoke too soon. His name came out of the Goblet of Fire as a fourth, and now everyone, including Ron, were against him. Don't they realize that he was with people the whole time? There was an age line in the way, so he himself couldn't do it, and there was no one who would be willing to put his name in if he had asked. To top it all off, the Goblet was supposed to pick THREE champions, not four. That meant a dark curse, way higher than Harry was capable of, was involved in tricking an artifact such as the Goblet. Even Dumbledore didn't think of that first. He thought Harry did put his name in. The only one who didn't think he put his name in, was the guy that did it: Crouch Jr., but at that time, they all thought he was Mad-eye Moody.
Dragons were fun... NOT! Harry couldn't believe they had to fight a dragon; a nesting mother dragon on top of it. Some of those poor eggs were destroyed, and no one, but those who love dragons, cared about the poor dragon eggs and their mothers.
Harry got out of the whole destroying the eggs and fighting the dragon herself thing by summoning his broom, and out flying it. After Harry got the fake, golden egg, Ron finally realized that Harry really didn't put his name in the goblet, and that this tournament was way too dangerous for him. 'You would think that Ron would know that fame isn't all it's cracked up to be. All it does is put a giant target on ones back,' thought Harry. 'Poor, naive, little Ron... It must be because he wasn't with me for the two encounters with Voldemort that he doesn't understand it yet. The only misadventure he was on with me was last year with a cowered of a Death Eater. That doesn't explain just how dangerous it was to be me at that time.'
After nearly getting his ears blown out by the golden egg, Harry got a hint from Cedric on how to hear the message inside the painful, enchanted item. It took a bit of time, but he found out it had something to do with going underwater.
First things first though, Harry had to find a date for the Yule Ball, which didn't end too well. When they got to the ball, Harry wasn't a very good date, but he could say that Ron was worse. That was because he was pouting over Hermione going to the ball with Viktor Krum. Present Harry wished that he didn't remember the Yule Ball at all. Why did this memory have to come back?
They couldn't wait until it was warmer before starting the second task? It was freezing. Okay, sure they have warming charms, but was it okay to do that and another spell on oneself without risk of exhausting yourself and possibly drowning? No ever thinks of these kinds of things. Sure, that wouldn't happen, but they might have to use other spells, and swim. :) (AN: I had to put the emoji there.)
Harry came close to drowning. He had to get both his and another champion's loved one out of the water since the other champion couldn't make it down there, but he did not really think that the people running this tournament would have not left the people down in the lake to drown. He can't be blamed for thinking that! They put the poor people down here to begin with! They even put the champions through all of this so far, and these are the same people that have Death Eater hiding under their noses.
Finally, the third task had arrived. Harry thanked Merlin that he learned about the unforgivable curses this year, because he recognized Krum under the Imperius curse. Sadly, that didn't help him later. When Harry, along with Cedric, got to the cup, they both decided to take hold of it. When they were sent to a graveyard via portkey, Harry knew that danger was close by. He saw the name on one of the gravestones, and just knew that Voldemort was near before his scar even started hurting him.
Cedric died.
Voldemort came back.
Voldemort called his Death Eaters and removed all their masks, so now Harry knew who everyone was.
Harry and Voldemort fought.
The ghosts of those who Voldemort killed last appeared and helped Harry escape the graveyard with Cedric's body.
After Harry returned to Hogwarts, he told Dumbledore about Voldemort, and then he was dragged away from the crowd by "Moody". He was brought into Moody's office, and "Moody" asked Harry some questions about Voldemort and the Death Eaters while he was looking for something. Harry only caught that something was up when "Moody" mentioned a graveyard when Harry had not. Harry got ready for a fight while pointing out "Moody's" slip up. Luckily for Harry though, Dumbledore, Snape, and a few others charged into the room and attacked the fake Moody. While the man was stunned, Snape force fed the man Veritaserum. When he came to, they found out it was Crouch Jr.
Crouch told them that Voldemort was back, but some people didn't believe him, *cough* Fudge *cough* even though the guy said this under a truth potion. Okay, so Fudge wasn't in the room, but the fact that a Death Eater was there should have been proof enough. As well as the attack on the World Cup before this year started. Heck, Harry could have given them his memory of the night Voldemort returned, but they never asked for it, so past Harry never thought of it. Present Harry realized that they didn't ask for the proof of Voldemort's return, because they didn't want to believe, but deep down they did, but were too scared to admit it.
TBC
We just have two more chapters before Harry starts his training. Zeref will be starting his slightly before that. ^-^
Harry: Yeah, 2 more chapters, but that would take about 4 weeks to come out.
Zeref: That is because she is working on another Fanfiction. What was it...a Bleach fanfic?
Enj/Dark: Yes. :)
Voldy: What kind of name is Bleach?
Enj/Dark: I don't know why Kubo picked that name.
Natsu: Maybe it had something to do with that all white guy that was here last time.
Harry: Could be...
Enj/Dark: Well, who cares why it is called Bleach? Besides, we have to finish this AN now. Zeref, it's your turn.
Zeref: Please review! :3
