I have something to say: I'm sorry to all Yukino fans for what I'm about to have happen to her. Also, Yukino, I'm sorry to you too. It's a one time deal.

Onto the chapter!

103

"Our final match of the day is between Yukino of Sabertooth and Voldemort of Raven Tail!" Harry felt the blood drain from his face as he heard the announcement. His heart was pounding against his chest in fear of what would happen down in the arena. He watched as a young woman with white hair walked onto the field, shortly followed by Voldemort.

The two opponents faced each other, and Voldemort did the traditional bow before the beginning of a duel. He then held up his yew wand and pointed it at Yukino.

Yukino had something in her right hand. Harry saw a glint of gold, and he was reminded of Lucy's keys.

'Is she a Celestial Spirit mage?' Harry thought questioningly.

"Let the match, BEGIN!" The pumpkin mascot called out and got out of the way. Harry felt his breath catch in his thought and his heart drop down to his stomach. He dreaded watching this fight take place, but no matter how hard he tried to close his eyes or look away, he couldn't.

Yukino made the first move. "Gate of the Heavenly Scales: Libra!" The spirit that was summoned looked like a young woman with tanned skin, brown hair and eyes. She had a mask over the lower part of her face, and her outfit was that of a belly dancer's. In her hands were golden bowls on thin chains. Harry guessed that those were the scales. "Libra, change the gravity around him. Make sure he can't move," Yukino ordered.

Harry watched as Libra tipped her scales, and Voldemort was affected by the gravity change, but Harry knew that it wouldn't hold him for long. Yukino charged forward to attack the dark wizard, but just as she was aiming a kick toward his head, Voldemort vanished with a pop.

'Darn it! He must have countered the gravity spell and then Apparated!' Harry said in his mind while he gritted his teeth. With another pop, Voldemort was behind Yukino, his wand pressed against her back. Whatever spell Voldemort used, he did it silently, and the spell sent Yukino flying toward the wall. When she crashed into it, a spider web-like effect formed around her.

Voldemort then pointed his wand at the spirit who tried to attack him with his back turned and casted the killing curse at it. It didn't kill the spirit, Harry would have felt that, but it must have slammed the gate closed because Libra was no longer there. Voldemort turned his wand back onto Yukino, who was standing back up, and cast another spell silently.

Yukino dodged the spell. Good thing too, because when it hit the wall it exploded. Yukino pulled out another key, but before she could summon the spirit, Voldemort disarmed her of it. He smirked and sent out a jet of red toward the young girl. Harry recognized what that spell was. It was the cruciatus curse.

The curse hit its mark. Yukino went down with a shrill cry of pain. Harry was about to jump down and stop it, but someone held him back. He snapped his head around, ready to yell at the one who stopped him from cursing Voldemort, and saw that it was Laxus.

'When did he get here?' he wondered, but his anger won over his curiosity. "Why did you stop me?!" he demanded.

"You can't go down there, Harry. I know and understand why you want to, but there are no rules against torture. There is one that if you try to intervene then you could get disqualified, if not the whole team," explained Laxus.

"But what if he doesn't stop long enough for her to put up a white flag?!"

"I'm sure there is a limit. There already is a time limit, so there might be a torture limit too." Harry ripped his arm away from Laxus' hold and began to walk away toward the judges' stand.

"I'm going to tell them to stop this," Harry stated before leaving their stand.

Voldemort was enjoying himself. He stopped the overconfident girl in her tracks with a curcio, and now as he lifted the curse, she was panting and shaking on the hard, dirt ground. He smirked darkly, and sent out another curse. This one exploded on her arm, causing it to break.

Yukino screamed again, Voldemort could hear someone say that someone had to stop this, but where's the fun in that? He stepped up close to her and cast a fire spell. As he listened to her scream, he couldn't help but think of Harry Potter being in this situation instead of her.

Speaking of the little brat, he cast one more curse to break the girl's fingers before looking up toward where Potter would be, but he didn't see him with the members of his team. He saw the red-headed twins, but not Harry Potter. He wondered where he could have gone, he shrugged his shoulders and chuckled. It was possible that Potter could not stand by and watch, unable to do anything to stop him as he tortured this young girl.

He returned his focus onto the girl again and decided to break her other arm. She cried out again, and this time it made him think of how some of his Death Eaters would scream like that when he branded them with his dark mark. It gave him an idea. He held the tip of his wand near the girl's neck and used a fire spell to burn his mark there. He worked slowly, enjoying the wailing screams of agony wash over him. It had been too long since he took his time in torturing someone, especially one as young and innocent as this child was.

Harry made it to the judges' stand in time to hear them say that they should stop the match, because Voldemort was going too far. Harry took a glance to see what that monster was doing and saw him burning his mark onto Yukino's neck. Harry grabbed the judge who was speaking about there being no rules against what Voldemort was doing, and brought him close to his face.

"Stop this now," he ordered. His voice even scared him a little with how slow, low and dark it was, but he didn't care; he needed to do whatever it took to stop Voldemort.

"We c-can't. There are no rules-"

"Then make a new one now! If you allow this to continue then that girl will be tortured into insanity before time it up!" he yelled, catching some of the crowd and teams' attention. He could hear them agreeing with him, giving the judges no choice but to obey.

"I'll need to speak with the king to get it through," said the judge.

"Then what are you waiting for?" Harry asked quietly and let go of the man, who took off toward the royal stand.

Voldemort laughed as he heard Potter shout at the judge to make a new rule against torture before the dark lord sent his victim into madness. He took it as a challenge. He cast a cutting spell on the girl's face, going down from next to her nose to just below her bottom lip. She didn't scream this time, but after being hit with a curcio, this bit of pain was nothing. The new cut would scar, however.

"Curcio," he whispered the curse again and held it for one minute. The girl howled in pain, pleading for him to stop. When he did after 60 seconds, she began to whimper.

"P-please...No-no more…" she begged, bringing a sadistic smile to Voldemort's face.

"I'm sorry, my dear...but I can't do that," he said and cast another curcio. He cackled as he allowed the beautiful sound of her screams flow through his body.

"That is enough, Voldemort!" He heard the king's voice shout out. He stopped and turned a dark glare onto the little man who called himself a king. "A new rule has been established. If you continue torturing, then we will have no choice but to disqualify you. Raven Tail would have to choose a replacement for you," the king said, much to Voldemort's irritation. He wondered if Potter side-long apperated the judge up to the king. He stopped his torture and backed away from the girl. She didn't bother to move, so the ref called an end to the match, saying that he won.

Voldemort snorted. 'Obviously,' he thought as he left the arena.

Harry breathed out slowly, but it wasn't with relief. He wouldn't allow himself to feel secure about Yukino's health until he knew for sure that she would pull through. He decided to go back to the inn to rest and then check on Yukino later on.

Harry returned to the inn earlier with his guild, and as night fell he went to his room. He was by himself while the others partied downstairs. He noticed his golden hawk had returned and was holding a letter. He walked over and took the letter, after that he gave the beautiful hawk a treat. While his bird ate, he opened the letter and began to read.

Coils,

I don't believe it's Voldemort that's causing the dark magic. There was a member of the spriggan 12 there watching the game last year and they said that it felt familiar to them, but they couldn't quite put their finger on it. When I got your letter I had them go back to the game to feel out Voldemort's magic energy - it didn't match. It's not Voldemort.

I want you to be careful, Coils. I've been watching the games through the Lacrima, and I saw Voldemort's match today. Do you think anyone ever thought that of me? Someone who would torture just for the fun of it? Anyway, if you fight him, please be careful. I saw him looking toward your team's platform while he was hurting that Yukino girl. I think he may have been wanting to see your expression or something.

Cerberus

Harry put the letter down and grabbed a new sheet of paper. He'll write a quick reply and then go see Yukino. Hopefully the hospital wing was still open by then.

Cerberus,

Thanks for letting me know. I'll be sure to keep a feel out for any sign of the dark magic. When I do, I'll let you know. As for Voldemort, he might have been looking for me because he wished it was me that he was torturing. So I understand your concern - I'll be careful.

I'm going to check up on Yukino when I finish this letter. I need to know if she had any mental cracks forming in her mind or not. I won't be able to rest peacefully until I know she is okay.

Also, I...think that you might be right about what some people thought about you, but I never did. I felt that there was a reason why you were a dark mage, and I was right. If I didn't feel like that, we would have never spoken, and who knows how our future would be now. History can get twisted around until it is so inaccurate it would cause people's heads to spin when they learn the truth.

Coils

The letter turned out longer than Harry expected, but he shrugged his shoulders dismissively and gave the letter to his hawk again.

"Make sure he gets this," he said, watching as the bird took the letter into his beak and flew off into the night. He watched until the hawk was no longer in view, and just when he was going to close the window he felt three life forces below. He looked down and saw Natsu, Happy, and… Yukino?

'What is she doing out of bed?' he thought.

{Like you're one to talk.} Harry jumped and spun around when he heard Fawkes' voice.

"Don't do that. When did you get here anyway?"

{When you were writing your letter,} replied Fawkes.

"Whatever, I'm going to see what's going on."

{I'll come with you.}

Harry opened his door and almost bumped into Laxus and Mira. "Sorry, are you guys going to bed?" he asked.

"Yup, we still have matches tomorrow," replied Mira. "Where are you going?"

"I saw Natsu outside talking with Yukino. I'm going to see how she's doing."

"Don't be too long," said Laxus. "You might fight again tomorrow, and you'll need your strength."

"I'll be quick." Harry left his friend and girlfriend and headed down stairs where he found Natsu, Lucy, Happy, and Yukino making their way toward him.

Natsu looked up and saw him. "Harry, if you want to know how she is, then come with us to Lucy's room," he said, but Harry heard the grim tone in his voice, and saw the dull eyes of Yukino. His heart clenched with dread, but he followed them nonetheless.

TBC

Yukino isn't broken, so don't shoot fire at me please. Anyway, this chapter was meant to be longer, but the first part of the chapter was taking too long for me to do, so I cut it in half. We'll see what happens in the next chapter.

Harry: She actually tortured someone she doesn't hate… o.o

Voldemort: …

Zeref: Voldemort, I believe she won the bet. You know what that means.

Natsu: No more giving her a hard time, but I don't have to say something: HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO POOR YUKINO?! DX

Enj/Dark: I didn't want to, but I needed someone to fight Yukino since Kagura is now a member of Fairy Tail.

Harry: We haven't even seen her or Simon there yet have we?

Enj/Dark: I don't remember. I'd have to look. But since I won the bet, Voldemort, you say it.

Voldemort: ...Please...review…

Natsu: See, it's not that hard. :)
