Harry walked into the inn he's been staying at with his guild and saw that everyone was having fun. He noticed that Wendy didn't look like she wanted to join them though. He decided to walk up to her to see what was wrong.
"I didn't win my match," she said, sounding disappointed.
"Ah, well, you can't win them all. If that were possible Voldemort would have been dead a long time ago," said Harry.
"Oh! That reminds me! Are you alright? I noticed that snake-faced man standing in front of you earlier and you and the others looked ready for a fight," said Wendy.
"Yeah, I'm fine. He just wanted to ask me some questions about Zeref. He thought I knew where he was or something. I can tell you now that Zeref is not here. I checked and just got back from doing so."
"You found something?"
"Yeah, they were human. They must have used something that Zeref created for his magic to be clinging to them, but I don't know what yet." Harry pulled out the notebook he picked up when the stranger took off. "They dropped this as they made a run for it."
Wendy studied the cover of the book for a few moments, and then looked back up at him. "Have you read it yet?"
He shook his head. "No, I only read one page, but there were only three words on it: Dragon King Festival."
Wendy's face scrunched up in confusion. "What does that mean?"
Harry shrugged. "I don't know, but I plan to read more of this tonight. I'll see you later, but if not then goodnight."
"Goodnight, Harry," replied Wendy. "Let me know what you find?" Harry nodded his agreement. There might be something important that everyone needed to know in this book.
Harry walked up the stairs, having to dodge some of the chairs and beer mugs as he went. He made it to his room and sat down by the desk close to the window. He laid the book down and began to read more of it.
Everything was going fine. We went to the Grand Magic Games to help our guild become first again, but just as the games were ending, the Eclipse Gate was opened, and nothing went to plan! We opened it so we could stop Zeref from ever becoming a threat, but instead of us going back in time using the Eclipse Gate, the gate brought dragons to our time! Not just a handful, but thousands of dragons! They destroyed everything. The city, my friends, even my enemies. The kingdom was burned to the ground in less than a day.
Harry was horrified at what he read. Zeref had told him about the Eclipse gate and could have told these people that going back to kill Zeref wouldn't have worked. The gate needed to exist if they were to go back, and by the time Zeref built one, he was already immortal.
The other part that Harry was most horrified at was the dragons coming to their time. It didn't take a genius like Hermione to understand that this book came from the future. If the kingdom wasn't burnt to the ground right now due to dragons, then it didn't happen yet. Where was he when this plan was happening?
Harry looked down to continue reading in hopes of finding out.
Things had gone completely out of control. Before the gate opened, it was found out that Harry knew something about it. He told us the mission would fail, that the gate can only connect to another gate, and by the time one was built, Zeref was already immortal. The mission would have been pointless. We should have listened to him, instead, the royal family and guard accused him of working with Zeref. I didn't want to believe it, but how else would he know about all this? I started thinking that maybe he was under a spell while he ran into Zeref on Tenrou Island. After pointing this out, the princess had him locked up, saying that once Zeref was killed, then Harry would be free of the spell.
'So I was locked up...But couldn't I have gotten out?'
The bars on his cell kept Fawkes from flashing both himself and Harry out of there. After they made sure he was not going anywhere, we opened the gate. That was when the dragons came out. Harry mentioned that Zeref's time was at war with dragons, but we already knew that. What we didn't know was that the dragons would come here. It was clear that mages of old were stronger than we are. They had survived far longer than we did.
This needs to be stopped. I have to go back. I have all the keys to open the gate, but it won't be easy to get there. I have to try though, so none of this disaster could happen again.
Harry read the last few pages and ended off with the one that had the three words written on it. This was worse than he thought. He needed to send Fawkes with his next letter to Zeref.
He quickly grabbed paper and a pen and began to write everything.
Cerberus,
I have to make this quick because it is very important. First of all, Voldemort was not the problem like you suspected. It is much worse than that. They had built an Eclipse Gate and planned to use it to kill you, but it didn't happen like that. I found a book that was owned by someone who used the gate to come to this time from the future. I read it and saw what they planned to do. Instead of going back in time to kill you, they brought dragons to our time. As I'm sure you can guess, the world burned. You might have to come here to help me with this because I can't allow anyone to suspect that I work with you, or else I would be locked up and Death only knows what happened to me afterward.
Please come quickly.
Coils.
Harry folded up the letter three times and stuffed it into an envelope. He gave it to Fawkes, who looked at him oddly.
{I need you to take this to Zeref right now. Flash there, don't waste any time, make sure he gets this,} he explained urgently.
{What did you read in that book?} asked Fawkes with a tilt of his head.
{Basically, the end of the world.} Fawkes' little beady, black eyes widened and grasped the letter into his beak. He flashed away after that, leaving Harry in the room alone, or so he thought.
"Harry, who did you send a letter to?" Harry was startled and turned to face the door. Standing in the doorway were Ron and Hermione.
Harry shrugged his shoulders. "It was for a friend not within the guild," he replied.
"Mate, you look a little pale. You sent Fawkes instead of your golden hawk like it was important. What is going on?" asked Ron in concern.
Harry didn't say anything for a minute, wondering if he should tell his two closest friends or not. 'I'm sure they'll understand if I told them,' he thought. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly before he asked, "What do you know about a man named Zeref?"
Ron looked confused but deep in thought, like he knew the name, but couldn't place it, Hermione, on the other hand, appeared to know who he was talking about. "Zeref is a very powerful dark mage from 400 years ago. He created demons, which has caused a lot of destruction, and a lot of his worshippers still continue his work till this day," she said.
"That is true, but did any of those books explain why he created demons or killed and why?"
"He did it because he could," said Ron, now remembering who Zeref was.
"No, he didn't. I met Zeref while on Tenrou Island." Ron and Hermione looked worried now, so Harry quickly continued. "He didn't want to hurt anyone. I could tell because the magic kept going out of control and killing everything around him. I survived easily due to being the holder of the hallows. We talked, and I learned his side of the story.
"To make a long story short: there was one more Horcrux we missed. We didn't know about it, but we should have thought of it. Voldemort wanted to split his soul seven times, he didn't know about me, so he split it again. That fragment had lived and killed Zeref's family, but the killing curse became Zeref's own. He feared his newfound powers and lost control of them regularly. He believed it to be a curse and everyone else thought he was killing on purpose. At this point in time, all he wanted was to either die or bring his brother back from the dead. He created the demons in hopes that they could kill him, but they were never strong enough. So his last hope was to bring back his brother as a demon and give him to a dragon to train.
"There were three reasons why Zeref brought his brother back. One was so he could see him again, two was so he could grow strong enough to kill him, and three was to kill Acnologia with the help of a few other dragon slayers.
"After the dragon slayers were all trained, Zeref sent them through the Eclipse Gate to this era. But the gate is currently the problem. The royal family had rebuilt the gate and are planning on using it to go to Zeref's time, but it won't work." Harry finished his explanation about the plan the royal family had and what would really happen should they go through with it.
"That letter was for Zeref, wasn't it?" asked Hermione.
"It was," replied Harry.
"Mate, how do you know he's not lying?"
"Two reasons: I've been training with him for 7 years, and he sealed away his demons so they couldn't harm anyone, but other dark mages unsealed them believing that's what Zeref would have wanted. Even the books say this."
"You were awake with Zeref for 7 years, and you even trained with him?" asked Ron in shock.
"Death was there too. Look, I'm not asking you to trust him - I'm not expecting you to. I trust him with my life, so all I'm asking is that you trust me. He's the only one who knows how to work the Eclipse Gate, so we need him to shut it down. If we don't, dragons will show up and try to kill us all."
Ron and Hermione looked at each other for a moment, and then looked back at Harry. "What the heck?" said Ron. "This is just like every other crazy plan we come up with."
"We trust you, Harry, but it will take time for us to trust someone who sounds worse than… You-Know-Who at times," said Hermione.
"That is fine," Harry said with a grateful smile. "Now I also need you to read this and tell no one about Zeref. Can you do that?" Harry handed them the notebook and Hermione took hold of it.
"You can count on us."
"I'll see you guys tomorrow then," Harry said with a yawn.
Hermione giggled, "I guess we will. We came in here to ask if you wanted to join us at the water park, but you look tired."
"Yeah, I think I'm going to go to bed."
"Alright, mate. Goodnight," said Ron. Hermione also wished him goodnight and the couple left the room.
Harry started to get changed and ready for bed. Just as he was about to crawl in, a knock on his door was heard.

I finally got my hands on Spyro Reignited Trilogy and I had been playing the games all last week. I beat the first and second games, still working on the third. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter.
Zeref: Looks like I'll be showing up again soon.
Enj/Dark: Yes, I have something funny planned for you.
Natsu: What is it?
Enj/Dark: I can't tell you that.
Voldy: When you say funny...do you mean that you're going to make it seem like everyone is stupid?
Enj/Dark: You'll just have to wait and see. Please review! ^-^
