August 18th, 1986

(Forgot to say this, but this story takes place before the events of the 1987 movie. Those events do happen but the boys won't die)

I woke up about 5:30 in the afternoon. I grab my phone and walk downstairs to find Harlot and Luci sitting in the kitchen working on something.

"Hey what are you working on?" I look at the table and see herbs of different kinds as they smile, looking at me.

"Well we figured since we know what you are we would tell you what we are." Luci speaks up.

Wait how do they know?

"H-how do you know about me?" They look at each other and nod their heads. Then look back at me.

"Well we are in the umbrella version, witches."

They are like dad. I smile softly.

"You are? You aren't saying that to just get under my skin?" They shake their head, while chuckling.

"No dear, we truly are witches. We were also wondering if you would stay here. It might be in your best interest as you may find them." Harlot looks at Luci then back at me smiling.

They really are witches if they know I've been looking for my mates.

"Do you know if there are any other supernatural creatures here in town?" They both nod.

"Vampires and a guardian for one of them, which is a hellhound." I nod my head.

"Alright thank you. Can you take me to a gas stop so I can fill my bike up then go visit the boardwalk you were talking about last night?" They both stand up and get ready to leave.

After I filled Mithhiri up I went to the boardwalk that we passed by on our way to the gas stop. The sun was just setting when I parked my bike. I walk around the boardwalk a bit to see what was here listening to the most recent song I've had on my Walkman on repeat. We're Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister.

I walk around the boardwalk look at the rides. They seemed cool but none of them took my interest other then the Ferris Wheel.

Getting on the Ferris Wheel will allow me to see around the small town and see what to visit and not to visit. I get on the Ferris Wheel and see a video shop and comic shop. I look around and see Surf Nazis that Luci mentioned. A good meal for later on when or if I don't have money.

I guess I'll go see those shops. Might as well stop by a food booth as well.

After eating I go to the comic shop that I saw while on the Ferris Wheel. I look around trying to see if Punisher was sold here but from what I can see it's not. Which bums me a bit. The hair on the back of my neck raises as I feel someone stare at me. I look behind me to see 2 boys early teen staring at me.

"Can I help you boys?" I ask a bit irritated.

"Are you a vampire? We don't like your kind." I raise an eyebrow. Oh they are self proclaimed hunters, this is just great. Yay I'm being sarcastic today. I guess I gotta deal with these 2.

"1) I'm not a vampire. 2) You are aware there are ways to keep them out? Either way you are shit hunters and someday you'll get put into your place. You may end up dying and if so, I won't feel bad for you. Those comics you have about vampires won't always help you" I leave the comic book shop to go to the video shop.

I walk into the video shop and look around. I try to find things that would catch my interest, but nothing seemed to. I hear a commotion at the front and see a guy a little over 6 feet pointing at a biker gang of 4 and then pointing at the door. I wanted to follow those 4 men, but I knew better. I walk up to the man behind the counter.

"Hello, my name is Elijah and I'm new here. Do you mind telling me what just happened with those 4 men?" He looks down at me.

"I'm Max, the owner of this shop. And those would be my rowdy adopted sons. I could get them to show you around." I look him in the eyes as they flash a golden color and I realize. Him and those boys are vampires. I smile.

"Seems like my kind of people." I giggle softly. "That wouldn't be necessary. I got on the Ferris Wheel earlier and pretty much saw the whole town." He smiles and nods.

"Do you need a job? I'm looking for people to hire" I shake my head.

"Nope I'm good." I smile up at him. "Though I would like to know. How is it running a shop being a... yeah know." His smile drops as he looks down at me.

"How?" I flash my real green eyes as he nods his head. "I have an hour till I get off work. Could you come back and I can take you to see my sons." I nod my head and leave the store to go look for something to do in the meantime.

(AN- it took so long to get this chapter written because of my WiFi cutting out on me and losing a good portion of this chapter then getting locked out of my house. I hope you like this chapter!)
