Wizard Entrance Exam Burn Away!

"Okay, time for a little combat training." Shin said while doing some stretches with his arms and legs.

Shin is getting himself ready for the magic entrance exam that is coming soon next week, even though the test is going to be about magic powers he just wants to practice his combat skills. He also decided to do some training out in the middle of the forest to get some peace and quiet. He starts some basic swings with his training wooden sword for a while then move up to the advance moves, Shin also decided to do some sword combat moves he got from his past life that warriors called Samurai uses, it still amazes him about this other world and the things they have there.

"I wonder if I can visit that world someday?" Shin asked himself.

Then he heard some splashing sounds, and big ones too.

"Huh, that's weird, there shouldn't be any rivers nearby. Right?" Shin wondered and decided to go check it out himself.

As he walks closer with the sounds getting louder wondering if there are wizards battling each other or something, he just hopes that it's nothing serious out there.

"Come Juvia, you must attack me like you mean it!" A girl's voice demanded which caught Shin's attention.

Shin walk a little slower and hide behind a tree to see one girl holding a sword and the other girl is exhausted.

"Juvia is trying, Big Sis Erza, but we've been going out since sunrise and Juvia is really tired now." The girl calling herself Juvia panted.

Juvia is a slender, teenage girl with long wavy azure blue hair, midnight blue eyes, snow skin complexion and a curvaceous figure. She wears a sapphire blue coat, a cream colored furry trimmed navy-blue shawl with a pure white teru teru bōzu attached to it, as well as a matching Russian Cossack hat. Breasts sizes: G-cup.

The other girl named Erza is a young woman with long, scarlet hair and brown eyes. She wears a silver armor with a rounded single-piece pauldrons with a breastplate and fused collar featuring a large Heart Kreuz cross centered on the chest. The wearer's gauntlets also omit the previous version's feathery elbow guards in favor of curved plate. Unlike both prior versions, the front and back torso plates do not meet, leaving the wearer's sides exposed. Finally, the waist armor features a single plate overlapping the chest piece. A variation of this model involves the waist armor adding a V-shaped piece that circles the hips instead. Breasts sizes: G-cup.

"Well, it's almost noon so how about one last sparring matching then we'll get lunch." Erza suggested.

"Okay, here goes." Juvia nodded.

"(Uh, it looks like they're doing some training together though for different exams. The blue hair girl seems to be getting ready for the magic exam and the red hair one is going for the knight division class. Interesting, I wonder if those sexy cuties thought about forming a party after graduation?)" Shin thought asked then he realize something.

"(Wait, sexy cuties?! Where did that come from, I don't even know them?!)" Shin thought shocked blushing a little.

"Okay, come at me!" Erza said.

"Here Juvia comes!" Juvia fired a straight stream of water of Erza and she sliced it in two splitting them in separate directions.

Unfortunately, the left water stream ended up heading right toward Shin knocking him against a tree as he screams getting the girls' attention.

"Huh, was that a scream just now?" Juvia asked.

"I heard it too. Who goes there, come out now or I will force you with my blade." Erza demanded.

"Wait, wait, I come in peace. I swear!" Shin said as he walks out of his hiding spot wet and stuff.

"Oh, Juvia is sorry for hitting you her water." Juvia apologized.

"It's fine, it just water so it's nothing to be worry about." Shin brushed off and yelp when Erza pointed her sword at his nose.

"Would you care to explain why were you spying on us in the forest?" Erza asked with a scare look on her face.

"I was spying on you, really! I was just out here doing some training of my own and then I heard some splashing water when I know there aren't any rivers nearby, so I decided to check it out and here we are." Shin explained.

"I see, I wasn't expecting anyone else to be out here for some training other than us." Erza said as she put her sword away in the sheath.

"Are you training for the Knight Division exam by chance? You appear to be well train with a sword." Erza asked looking at the wooden sword in Shin's hand.

"Actually, I'm entering the magic class. The sword training is just something I do since I was young." Shin answered.

"Ah, can't be too careful in case you run out of magic power while facing some enemies. It's always important for any warrior whether their wizards or knights, one must be extra caution for any situation." Erza said proudly like a teacher while pointing her sword at the sky.

"Is she always this dramatic?" Shin asked Juvia.

"Erza always like to sound big and proud most of the time." Juvia answered.

"I see, well, it's nice to meet you girls. My name is Shin." Shin introduced himself.

"That's it, just your first name?" Erza asked.

"Well, huh…?" Shin didn't want to reveal his last name thinking these girls might be crazy fans of his grandparents.

"Young man, don't you know it's extremely rude not to say your full name otherwise people might get confuse with another person with the same name." Erza scolded scary.

"Right, I'm sorry ma'am. My full name is Shin Wolford, it's a pleasure to meet you." Shin revealed nervous and scared of this girl.

"Wolford? As in the grandson of Merlin the Wise Man and Melinda the Guru, you're that grandson!" Juvia shocked exciting.

"Yeah, those are my grandparents." Shin answered flatten.

"Calm yourself down, my twin sister. For I too am a fan of them, but it appears the Shin isn't the type of wanting to famous." Erza pointed out.

"(At least she understands that much.)" Shin thought relived.

"But would it be too much trouble to get an autograph from them for my mother, she is a huge fan of the Guru." Erza asked.

"I'll what I can do. Wait, you two are twins?" Shin wondered since those two looks totally different from each other.

"That's right, people always get the reaction whenever we tell them we're actually twins despite our different appearance." Erza nodded.

"Forgive us for the late introduction; my name is Erza Belserion." Erza greeted.

"Hello, Juvia's name is Juvia Belserion. It's a pleasure to meet you, Shin." Juvia bowed a little.

"You know, I never met anyone who can talk in a third person like you. Kinda sound like you're a narrator." Shin commented.

"Is it weird?" Juvia asked, almost hurt.

"No, no, I just think it's pretty interesting since I never met a person talking like that." Shin said.

"Well, Juvia have always talked like for as long as Juvia can remember. Mother said that Juvia got from our father though we don't remember him much since he passed away when we were five." Juvia explained.

"Oh, I'm sorry for your loss.' Shin apologized.

"Don't be, sometimes talking about the past is good to help to get something off your chest every once and a while." Erza said.

"So, you two are taking separate exams even though you two are twins." Shin mentioned.

"Yes, even though we share most things together in our life we also have different things from each other such as I want to become a knight to prefect my skills with a blade." Erza explained her reason for wanting to go to the knight class.

"And I've always been amazes of how wonderful magic is that helps with our daily life, so Juvia is talking the magic exam." Juvia explained her reason of going for the magic exam.

"But despite us taking different paths, we will always be connected through our bond and promise to always watch each other's backs once we form a party together." Erza said proudly.

"(Called it.)" Shin grinned.

"Well, I better get going. I promise my grandparents that we would eat lunch together." Shin mentioned.

"Very well, the next time we meet it will be at the Academy!" Erza declared.

"Juvia hopes we'll be in the same class together." Juvia said.

"I hope so too, bye." Shin said as he opens his gate spell walking through it and it disappears much to the twin's shock.

"Huh, he sure was an interesting fellow." Erza commented.

"Erza, did you notices the "scent" on him during the whole conversation?" Juvia asked her older twin sister.

"I have, there's no doubt about it. Shin Wolford is a Dragon Slayer." Erza said with a serious look in her eyes.

"Should we tell mother about this?" Juvia asked.

"Yes, for he shares the same fate as us and we'll have to be prepare what may comes next." Erza nodded.

(One Week Later)

"Okay, today is the day I give this everything I got!" Shin excited as he now stands on the school ground of Advanced Magic Academy and at the board.

"You're in my way. Step aside." A rude boy demanded.

But Shin wasn't listening because he is more focus on finding which room he is in for the exam.

"Hey, I told you to step aside." The boy grabbed Shin's shoulder resulting being caught in a strong hold.

"What do you think you're doing! Release my arm at once!" The boy demanded in pain.

"You're kidding me? First, you grab my shoulder without warning and then, you ask what I think I'm doing." Shin scolded.

"Insolent fool! I already said to you to step aside, but you didn't listen!" The rude boy explained angry.

"Really? Guess you should have been a little louder." Shin shrugged.

"How dare you! I, Kurt von Ritzburg, Son and Hair of Count Rietsburg, will make you rue the day you ever cross me!" Kurt introduced himself.

"(Looks like I already made an enemy.)" Shin thought sweatdropped.

"That's quite enough." Another boy said walking up to them.

"Your noble statue is of no value at this academy. Should you attempt to leverage it here, you will be punished. Need I remind you that it's not a school rule, but a royal decree." The kind boy stated.

He is a handsome young man with short blond hair, blue eyes and an average build for someone of his age.

"I… I know, but this commoner…" Kurt said nervously as Shin wonder who this guy is.

"If you knew of this law and ignore it, you've defied the royal family itself." The kind boy said making Kurt fear more.

"Tensions are all around. Stop bothering people and prepare for the test." The boy ordered and Kurt walks away.

"I like how you turn his introduction around on him. You seem to be unworldly as I heard." The boy said getting Shin's attention.

"My name is August von Earlshide, but all my friends call me "Aug" for short." August revealed himself.

"Your last name is Earlshinde. Wait, that means you're Uncle Dis's son?!" Shin gasped loudly that got everyone's attention around them.

"Uncle Dis's son, huh? That's something I've never been called before." August chuckled.

"When people realize that I'm the prince, they usually start trying to ingratiate themselves in a hurry." August explained, looking at the young people looking away from him.

"I don't care if you're the prince, but if you're Uncle Dis's son then in a way that makes us cousins." Shin pointed out earning a laugh from August.

"You know that? You're right, let's call ourselves cousins." August decided.

"I'm kinda confuse, but I'm glad something about that made you happy." Shin said.

"All right, Shin. Let's watch each other's backs in there." August declared.

Meanwhile from afar, Maria and Sizilien watch seeing Shin and August actually getting along like they're childhood friends.

"Is it just me or is Shin being very causal to Prince August?" Maria asked.

"I'm starting to wonder who he really is." Sizilien said.

With Erza and Juvia.

"Juvia never would have thought that Shin knew the king as well." Juvia shocked.

"That boy is just full of surprises. Anyway, this is where we go our separate ways. Good luck with the test." Erza shake hands with her sister.

"You too, and let's hope mother doesn't do anything embarrassing to us." Juvia preyed.

"I'm sure mother will treat us no different than the other students." Erza hoped.

And then, the exam has begun starting with the written test answering hard questions as some are calm while others are struggling a little as they have one hour to complete it.

Next came the Practical exam where the students will perform their best spell to hit the targets on the other side of the room, Shin was a bit excited at first to see how the other kids perform their spells which he soon became horrified of them doing long chants and their attacks were very, very weak that they don't even damage the targets.

"My turn." Juvia said as she steps up.

"(Oh great, she's gonna do a weak attack too.)" Shin thought.

"Come forth, the element that surrounds our world and pierce through my enemies' hearts. Water Bullet" Juvia fired a fast bullet shape water drop and it actually pierce through the target and into the wall behind it.

"Whoa, that was actually way cooler than the other guys!" Shin impressed.

"Shin Wolford, you're up next. His Majesty told me about you in advance, so please keep your power under control. It's imperative that you avoid destroying the training room." The exam judge woman warned.

"(Come on, Uncle Dis. What exactly did you say about me?)" Shin thought worried of what Diseum told the staff members.

"Just use enough power to destroy the target." The woman said.

"(Kind hard to guess, but here goes.)" Shin thought prepared himself for one of his attacks as the others are shock that he's not using a chant.

"(Show us what kind of dragon you are, Shin Wolforf.)" Juvia thought.

"Sapphire Flame Dragon Fastball" Shin threw a baseball size fireball at the target destroying it and causing a big explosion.

"I told you to keep your power under control, remember!" The examiner woman panicked.

"Well, believe it or not, I was holding back quite a bit." Shin informed, hoping he hasn't gone too far.

"That wasn't you're full power." The examiner woman shocked. "Kay, in that case, that was a fine showing."

"(Thank goodness, she didn't get mad at me.)" Shin sighed in relief.

"Amazing! Juvia wonder if mother felt that power from here?" Juvia said.

(Nighttime, Teacher Room)

"Not only is the Wise Man's grandchild is powerful, but he also posses one of the Lost Magic type, Dragon Slayer." One teacher shocked.

"I never would have thought we live to see the day that the Dragon Slayers would return." A female teacher said.

"Yes, it's pretty clear of who got the best score in the exam." The examiner woman smiled.

"Not to mention the Headmistress of the Magic Division will be most impress with this young boy." Male teacher 2 pointed out.

"Yes, I'm sure Headmistress Belserion is going to enjoy him around along with her daughters." The examiner woman nodded.

Meanwhile, standing at the very top of the school building looking at the capital is a woman as her appearance is clouded by the shadow of the night.

"Well, things are about to get more fun this year with you here. Shin Wolford." The woman said as her eyes shines red a little and the scene goes up showing the full moon.
