A/N: Another chapter here to go!
If you're wondering what's up with me, I just saw Black Panther in theatres. Thought it was pretty good, and I still have to watch Thor: Ragnarok before Avengers: Infinity War comes out next month. Seeing Nightwish for the fourth time in two days, and will be meeting them a second time. And this upcoming Saturday is the beginning of Season 8, so hopefully watching the episodes will speed up my writing and get more chapters out.
I was at Toronto Comicon this past Saturday, and I got to meet the actor who played Hodor in Game of Thrones. Mara Wilson was there as well and I got to quickly say hello to her as she was going on break from signings. I got to say "Nostalgia Critic for the win" to her, and she laughed with a smile when I told her that.
Review Responses:
4theworldman: I might think about doing that, probably in maybe 1 or 2 chapters. Wouldn't imagine him slamming into two cars and saying "My back!", as I'd probably have Rainbow catch him in his fall.
jvs12: Yes, he still is. It's practically a fear for him.
rd24: I might have a thing or two planned with both Brayden and Capper in CTO.
EL derpo: Glad you enjoy the story. :) I was going through a lot of issues when the main idea for this story kept popping up in my mind.
guest: I know you really want those to happen, but just wait until the chapters continue. :) I do have some of those ideas in mind. I am considering to have Somnambula, Sable Spirit and the rest of the other legends there. Starswirl could play a bit of a role in later chapters since he is with the legends when trapping the Pony of Shadows / Stygian. How he could react to seeing a reformed Sonata Dusk, I will have to figure out. I don't want to repeat the entire Brayden reacting to Thorax again but in a different way, because that's just cheap.
I slowly began to open up my eyes after a long night of rest, and after having come back from the hospital. My vision was blurry at first as it was every time I would be sleeping and being in the dream realm, having good dreams about being with my friends. After the view clears up, I was in the last place I remember going and that was the bed both me and Twilight share.
The sound of somepony's nostrils breathing is heard right next to me, and a soft smile appears on my lips. I turn myself onto my side to see my princess lying there with her eyes closed, still peacefully resting.
Celestia's sun has risen behind her by the rays of light shining onto the ground from the closed windows. From that moment, I knew it would be the brand new start of a day that I would be living in. With her right by my side, I am thinking about something different because I'm usually having breakfast and then giving my Twiley-bear a kiss before I go out for the day.
I think a bit of time since all the events had passed, so I think I will take in the day to spend some time with my wife, or 'me-and-her time' as I would call it. It's been a while after all, plus she probably feels a little more comfortable now.
My right hand reaches forward, gently placing itself onto her soft and silky mane. Beginning to give it slow strokes, I move closer to her, a few inches from her lips. My breathing inside is just as relaxed as she is sleeping. Though I did have that feeling inside... I mean you already knew I was going to choose her, and even from the love me and her shared, there was more I wanted.
Even so, there is a bit of a problem with that part of wanting more, but it is something I'll have to discuss with her later on a better time.
She opens her mouth and yawns for a moment, closing her lips and slowly beginning to open those beautiful, heavenly eyes of hers. The violet in the iris' can be seen as it expands as if her vision is clearing to see me lying there right next to her. When she sees me, a smile has crossed onto her lips, even when I nudged her closer to me.
Our lips made contact, and I held the kiss with her for a few moments when my eyes had closed shut. After that, I separated my lips from hers and opened up my eyes to see her smiling with a small, yet cute giggle coming from her.
"Good morning..." She greeted to me, the tone of her voice sounding both tired and as I knew, was a flirt-like happiness.
Her hoof gently took my hand and held it. "Morning to you too, my princess." I said to her, watching her yawn from awakening once again.
She leans next to me, cuddling up to me. Her tail brushes onto my left leg, carefully making sure that it didn't slip through the cast. Her hooves too are careful not to touch my wings as they probably are still very inflared especially from the gun shot wounds, but still... these should heal up fast enough.
"Will breakfast be coming to us?" Twilight asked me, caught in the gaze we always shared whenever we were together in our own time.
"I think so," I responded to her. "It's not just the two of us alone in the castle you know. We've got your assistant Spike, and our friend Starlight. I think I might be smelling one of our favorite breakfast foods coming up soon." A sniff of the air could tell that something was cooking down the hall in one of the kitchens in the main foyer.
"There's a pretty good guess that it is going to be a healthy food for the both of us to share. Strawberries with cream? A daffodil sandwich?" She places the tip of her free hoof to her chin, as she was thinking about what was to come in for the most important meal of the day. "No, maybe it's your favorite, eggs with buttered toast!"
"I guess we'll find out," I chuckled. "That is if either of them haven't burnt them yet."
"Any plans to get up out of bed and go outside? I'm not too sure if it is still the right timing yet because of your leg."
"No plans at all."
"You're going to stay in bed all day to let it heal more?"
"Yes, and no. I want you to stay with me today."
She smiles, gently nuzzling her soft cheek with mine. "I'm glad you want that too. It's been some time since we've spent it like this." She tells me.
"It's something I hope will re-fix the trust that I partially lost from you. You know... after what I did..."
"Brayden," Her voice now calm and her hoof gently rubbing my chest. "Whatever's in the past, has passed. You accepted our apology and it's all that matters. Even to me, our hearts still beat as one when we're together."
My happiness is still there, but has faded into a bit of a worry. That vision I saw of me yelling at my own friends, and looking quite torn and in tears at the same time seemed very concerning to me, even when I looked to be yelling at her and Fluttershy. I couldn't imagine yelling at Fluttershy since she is completely innocent, and even I alone would never try to attack my own best friend.
No... I will not let these visions try to sway my own thoughts.
Brushing that though aside, I let my upper body lean upward in bed. She still holds onto me as she is lifted up, one of her hooves now gently rubbing my back. Her back hooves that had been lying down, switch to maintain into a sitting position, even as I turn to her. Her left front hoof was set back down onto the fabric except the right hoof on my back.
Her cheeks gently brush against my own, relaxing her head right next to me. I wasn't caught by surprise from this after all, and allow her to do so, knowing she will be careful not to offer a wing hug to me, as she remembered how much it'd sting me whenever somepony held me tight friendly or more.
My head and eyes turn, gazing at the violet colored iris' of that sweet face, smiling back at me. The sound of hooves can be heard on approach outside of the room, rather muffled to my ears' attention. I figure it could be just Starlight coming to deliver us breakfast, and even I can smell the food as it came closer, the sound of wheels squeaking.
The doors open up, and I can see Starlight entering into the room with the tray of two plates meant for me and Twilight. On them, I can see the meal of the morning would be somewhat a favorite of mine: eggs and buttered toast.
Ha, I knew Twi was a genius when it came to knowing me and my favorite breakfast foods.
"Good morning you two!" Starlight greets the both of us with a cheerful voice. She stops for a moment and then continues, knowing that she entered into our room without knocking first... again. "Sorry for coming right in without knocking, but I have brought both of you your breakfast. Me and my best friend worked so hard to make it perfect!"
She approached by the side of the bed when Twilight turned and shuffled closely to the edge of the bed as carefully as she could. "I know, I've got to put a magical lock on that door so it doesn't happen again," A giggle comes from her lips before continuing. "And I have to say that you did a very good job. By best friend, you mean Spike right? Everypony you know is practically your best friend already."
"It looks so biteful," I said to her, before looking at her in question even as the expression on her face looked normal with the small smile I knew her for. "But where's the drinks for me and Twi?"
I can hear galloping from outside in the hallway from where Starlight entered from. "Coming!" I can hear a female, yet so familiar voice sounding rather hurried. It was only when she galloped straight into the room with her magic aura holding onto two glass cups filled with milk and water, that I recognized who this was by the color of her coat and that wizardish hat on her head.
C'mon, everypony knows who this is by now.
She skids to a stop close by Starlight, panting a little bit before beginning to put on this brave expression to her face, standing up on her hind legs. "I, The Great and Powerful Trixie have come to deliver your drinks from right downstairs!"
A smile crossed onto my face, seeing Trixie again after a while. "It's good to see you again Trixie." I said to her, as she set both me and Twilight's drinks onto the tray cart. The glass of milk was on the right side, so I can safely know that it was for me.
"Of course Brayden," She said to me, before proceeding to break into the third eye perspective as she did with all of her magic shows. I knew that she was playfully boasting about though. "I went to Tartarus and back in order to find you this milk, where I had tamed the great Milkticore, whom guarded the-"
Starlight's hoof was placed onto the boastful unicorn's mouth. "Trixie, we know. You have a great imagination, but you realize that Milkticores aren't even possible, and not even anypony except the princesses could enter Tartarus without having to face Cerberus."
The azure unicorn gave off a glare at her for the few moments, but when Starlight removed her hoof off of her mouth, she smiled and the both of them began to laugh. I can hear Twilight giggle a little bit, and even I chuckled quietly over the assumption that something like a Milkticore even existed. I mean, I've only ever seen a Manticore only once when she was performing for it, and that was during the time when I was still in the committed relationship with my lovable bookworm.
Knowing Twilight, I'm sure a billion ideas about creating a Milkticore through gene mixing would be running through her head.
"How's the friendship between you and Starlight going?" I asked her as she fixed the wizard-like hat on her head.
"Absolutely well," She said happily. "She as my Great and Powerful Assistant, is helping me come up with ideas for magic acts for my upcoming tour next year!" She looked at Twilight for a moment who had a bit of an awkward look on her face. "Aside from her being Princess Twilight's student."
"Where's Spike by the way? Doesn't he usually join you to make breakfast?" Twilight asked.
"We decided to let him have a break for today. After having done all that sweeping and book sorting, it's no wonder he was so exhausted," Starlight tells us, a smile on her face. "He's in his room, snoozing away. He'll probably be awake a little later."
"You sure you don't want me to wake him?" I asked, chuckling a bit. "I am sure I could be the good use of imitating an alarm clock or just screaming at him to wake up."
Twilight giggled for a moment. "Let's not resort to pranks like that," She says. "He can wake up on his own time. He deserves the break after all."
"Point taken." I said to her as we exchanged a smile at one another.
I can hear the sound of hooves to my right, and I turn back to see Trixie backing up. From her own right pocket, she gets out a smoke trick that she would usually use to disappear. "Well, now that Princess Twilight and the wonderful Brayden here have got their own breakfasts... I believe it is time for me and Glim-Glam to start our day!"
She throws the smoke trick to the floor, unleashing a cloud of smoke that blinded our view, even with the flash that came before. The smoke is lifting up quickly, but I am surprised that Starlight is still there.
Trixie pokes her head out from the hallway. "Or I'll be out here waiting for my "best friend"!" She calls out with a smile.
Starlight turns to look at us with her cheeks lit there for a moment. "I'm really not sure why she calls me Glim-Glam. It's a catchy nickname, but I think it could get annoying after a while."
"It's normal," I said to her. "I give all my friends nicknames. Like Flutters, Rary, Dashie, AJ... Pinkie's nickname is just Pinkie surprisingly. You already know that I call Twilight by Twi, Twiley or Twiley-bear."
When I mentioned my wife, her right cheek brushes up with mine, giggling for a moment. Starlight of course sees this, and knows that Twilight is giving off the message that she wants her time with me. "I see... but I think I should be going now. I'll see you for dinner tonight when I get back," She says to us. "Unless you are going to be together for the whole day."
"Pretty much." I said, my cheeks lighting up with the same smile I had been sharing with Twi.
"Spike will hopefully be awake when you are both ready to come down for dinner tonight. I'm thinking it'll be hayburgers tonight, hopefully Trixie won't burn them. Got to go now." She says, trotting out.
Twilight had a smile on her face. "We'll see you tonight!" She responded when her student left, leaving both me and her there in the bedroom and with our breakfast. She turns to look at me. "Ready to dig in?"
I gripped onto the fork of silver to my right which was next to the knife. "More than ever. It's been a while since I bit down on a real breakfast in a while." I said to her, carving a piece of an egg on the plate, taking a bite afterwards.
Twilight began to start eating as well, taking her knife and carving out the pieces of egg separately and munching down on them. On other times, she would stop to take a bite from one of two of the buttered toasts that was on her plate. I too take a bite from a toast on my own plate, taking a drink of milk to swallow down once the pieces I've ate had been chewed down.
With one egg chopped up into small, edible pieces just like with Twilight's own eggs, one is not and I scoop it up with one fork, letting the egg fall into my mouth and begin eating it. I can feel the yummy taste of the yolk inside of my mouth along with it's liquid sensation as I was chewing it, then eventually swallowing it.
"So, any plans coming up soon for our friends?" I asked Twilight, waiting while she finished on a bite of her toast she had bit into.
"Not yet. Most I hear, they actually are waiting to do something with you," Twilight says. "I know that Pinkie is hoping that you will visit the Sugarcube Corner soon. Probably something about going to lunch again or just partying with her." She giggled, even as she remembered that Pinkie Pie was just being Pinkie Pie as usual.
"Of course," I said to her. "Every one of them has asked me to do something with them. But I believe it's been a long while since I got to hang out with Rainbow Dash. I'll probably do something with her first, then I can hang out with Pinkie afterwards."
There she goes into the list of what our other friends are planning. "I believe that Rarity is thinking of just having a spa day with you, which I heard you enjoyed when you were with her and Fluttershy. Applejack has that family gathering coming up that I think you'll have a good time at. I mean, it's the Apple family, but I am sure they will want to thank you for saving Braeburn. Rainbow Dash would probably want to take a break from her Wonderbolts activity to chill with you, even do something that isn't related to flying. Fluttershy, I know she's the closest friend you have. She really wants to see you again, so hopefully you've got her in consideration."
"I always do," I said to her, thinking of the shy pegasus herself. "She's been there to help support me even in my troubled times."
"Who else?" Twilight paused for a moment. "There's also Coco, who really misses you. She sent me a letter, hoping that she will see you again soon. Ann, I know she's been busy, but she wants to see you again. If you let me know, I will happily send her a letter with the arrangement for the time you'll spend with her. Andrea too, if she wasn't so busy. Always busy in the Sugarcube Corner's kitchen with Sonata. Lyra wants to see you the most from what I know. She's always eager to know if you have time, so... why do you not spend time with her or Bon Bon?"
I stop eating for a moment, putting the thumb and index finger from my right hand to my bearded chin. "I'm not really sure, I probably didn't think of that."
"For that case, I'll leave you a list of the ponies you need to hang out with," Twilight says, leaving a mental note for herself to do that when she didn't get too busy. "But since I am with you, I could quickly do that."
"Or..." I interrupted her with a smile on my face before she could get started. "...We could save that for later, and have the you-and-me time."
She giggled. "Of course."
Turning back to my eggs and toast, I continue to eat them at the normal pace that I would go at. The eggs themselves taste wonderful, though I am sure that Starlight isn't the only egg expert there is out there. I mean, both her and Flutters do really well in making breakfast. Along with Spike as well, who does just as good a job to making lunch and dinner.
Around us, it seems to be quiet without some music to get me and my princess into the mood for the 'me-and-her' time. I can see the remote for the player on the night-table, so my right hand puts down the knife of silver and reaches across to grab it.
Both Applejack and Big Macintosh were really great help in setting up the player for the castle in certain rooms like our bedroom, practically had it installed everywhere in the castle. Most of its use would be for me and Twi when we are together or just had one of those nights where we needed each other most, like I do right now.
"Need some music?" Twilight asks me, having finished a bite of her toast.
I exhale a relaxed sigh. "I figured that I might do so. It's been a while since I've listened to music." I respond to her, pressing the power button to turn on the player which signals a song to start playing.
(Play Stan Getz - Girl From Ipanama [Instrumental])
"Now, that's better." I commented, tossing the remote back onto the night-table.
I turn back to my food, letting myself chew onto the crust of the final toast that was on my plate. There is the other egg there that I haven't ate yet. Twilight places her hoof on top of my left hand, and I turn to look at her.
The look in her eyes... holy shit. That is the sexiest look that she has ever given me, with her eyelids tilted down a little bit in a curve. Her iris' haven't changed at all, and I can feel her right wing wrapping around my back below my bandaged wings. She motions herself closer to me, resting her head against the side of my chest.
"Once you finish your egg, maybe you and me can... you know..." She sounds very suggestive, which really touches my heart inside.
"Kissing? Cuddling together?" I asked her, already knowing the answer to that.
Her magic channelled to surround my fork with her aura as she takes the egg underneath, moving it towards me. "Exactly." She giggled.
I allowed her to feed me, though I feel like I should also do that in return as well, but she has practically finished her plate before me. I chewed up the egg when it came into my mouth, and I swallow it when it has felt right to do so.
"Enjoy your breakfast?" She asked me, placing the fork back onto the plate which surrounds the tray cart after. With her magic, she pushes the tray cart to the side, bringing her attention back to me when it was moved.
"I did."
She doesn't respond to me, but I can feel her pushing me with my head towards the pillow, hitting it with a soft landing. The push felt gentle, as I was sure I was still healing and she didn't want to be a little too rough on that matter.
She moves herself on top of me, shuffling closer towards my face with hers and the feeling of her soft, silky tail brushing onto my right leg.
From what I did expect to happen, I placed the both of my arms gently around her body, holding her close to me. Our lips locked in together with one another, embracing with a romantic kiss. My right hand is caressing the back of her head, which was her mane, as I can hear breathing for each release of a kiss, going for another afterwards.
My eyes are closed, but the heartbeat inside me is beating at such a great pace, almost like the first time that I was nervous about confessing to her of my crush on her. I knew this moment was going to lead somewhere, and with the both of her hooves placed onto my chest, near the shoulders... you can tell where it's going.
From the locking of our lips in place, this kissing session seemed to have brought itself quickly into a session of making out. Pretty sure that Spike is watching us from the door, in shock and awe. I nor Twi probably don't really care by this point. I can hear Twilight moaning a little bit.
"Close the door if you're going to do that, will ya?!" I can hear Spike's voice calling to the both of us with annoyance in the tone of his voice. "It's not reasonable to expose your love life like that with an open door!"
I can hear our bedroom door close, and I open my eyes to see hers opening up as well to look at me. There was the sweetest look on her face, and she looked absolutely adorable with her cheeks glowing pink. Again, it's not the first time that I've seen her doing that with me. This face alone was the sign of true love that we were sharing.
"Twilight..." I calmly said to her, gently placing my hand onto her left cheek and holding it there. I was taking in and exhaling breath at quite a fast pace as was her.
She is silent for a moment, keeping the smile on her face. "Yes, Brayden?"
I moved my head closer to her, my forehead touching hers underneath her horn. "I've been thinking about it for a while, and I know I still need time to think it over. I want more from between the both of us..."
"More?"
"Yes," My hand begins to move down her cheek as I blinked for a moment. "We've been married for a while, and I've thought of taking it to the next level."
"You mean-"
"Don't say it. It's kind of hard still to say it, and it's one of those words that would cause everypony to faint if they heard it."
"I understand... I've been thinking about it as well," Twilight says to me, a happy yet soft tone in her voice. "I know you don't want to rush right into it immediately, and neither do I at this time. The best solution I think you'll agree with me on would be taking your time to think it over," She exhales a relaxed sigh for a moment. "When you're ready, just let me know and I think we'll arrange that all."
"One problem though, Twi..."
"What's that?"
I paused for a moment as a bit of concern lingered inside me, as well as my voice when I finally had the courage to explain. "I'm a human... well, an Equestrian human. I don't think it'd be possible to proceed with... you know... unless I was a pony."
"I'm sure that I could ask Celestia if there is a spell that could temporarily transform you into one," Twilight responds to me. "I know temporary isn't exactly your own suit and that you'd rather be a pony permanently. But in time, you might earn it. I mean, look how I earned my wings."
"And became the princess I know and love."
She giggles. "Exactly. You know the story already too from the episodes back on Earth."
"Hopefully we can go back. But to a much safer place for a visit."
"Like where? Brayden, it was dangerous when we all got captured back in your hometown."
I place a finger and thumb to my own chin. "I was thinking of the other places around the world. Maybe England or the Netherlands? I know Rainbow Dash would love to visit Switzerland when given the chance. I see Rarity more for England, and probably you as well," I chuckle for a moment. "Trixie would really love a visit to Paris in France."
"Nightmare Moon tells me all about those places in her letters to me, because she was trying to see how you were doing in the hospital. She seemed so worried and fear-struck when she found out you were in that coma."
"Looks like she must have taught you a few things about the geography and locations throughout Earth."
"She did," She said to me, looking rather smart in that way. "She's been telling me about the other places like Hungary or Japan. I'm more interested in seeing Norway though, as she has described it in words as it being a beautiful country. You are right about Rarity though, she'd love England."
"Told ya." I said to her as we both giggled for a moment.
"But anyway, do take your time, and let me know when you are ready for... it."
I pecked on her cheek quickly, with a smile followed on my lips. "Will do, my bookworm."
Mortem
10:03am
Rebecca's POV
"Soon with the might of your own forces to the aid of my own magic to guide you, the Equestrian empire will be too weak with their nations among all others in unity." A deep, yet older voice had spoken to me.
In front of me on top of the black tower, I stood there with a full view of the rest of Mortem and its blood dragons from whom I command. There was a big difference when it came to my viewpoint, as I was face-to-face with the one whom had first talked to me and told me of my own objective when I first wore the pendant of all dragonfire.
It is none other than my own master himself, Vuurtongo. His appearance alone would scare one of those disgusting and annoying fillies, just before he would snatch them up and eat them alive. His own scales are made of tough obsidian and darkened steel, a tail that was as long as any. A different breed among all the other blood dragons, for he is only one that ever existed as a powerful deity, as the others I command were to bow before him as such. His tail alone could grip onto anyone and crush their own bones, probably killing and squishing them alive if given the chance. His eyes are hellfire and whenever he opened his mouth, it was like fire in a furnace. Any victims were burnt to a crisp alive within him. His height is much taller, probably as large as two, possibly three times the height of the Empire State Building back on Earth. The bulk in his own strength looked tough enough to resist the firepower and power of this 'friendship'.
I began my chance to speak with him. "The first time coming back her to the wretched Equestrian soil, I had already come up with a plan. I returned with an army from Earth, with the aid of my dragons in conquering Appleloosa," I took in a breath before continuing. "He and the royal military overwhelmed the village, even taking the life of the Global Persecution's leader."
"Yet still, you still have the strength of your power that could have been of use to by the dragons I gave to you," He said to me, moving closer to the tower. "Even as far as the banishment, the Whinnepagos alicorns cannot stop our plan. The only distractions are that boy and those whom carried the elements of harmony. That boy is the only one that will protect them from harm. He has the strength of Whinnepagos in that blade of which he possesses. If we are not quick to get rid of him as soon as you can, the Equus alliance... will rise."
The blood dragons whom were perched on the tower as well as those on the cliffs roar with fury in them at the mention of our enemies.
"I doubt that even the dragon lands to the north east would be of help for us." I responded to him.
"With Princess Ember on their side, by no doubt they will stand alongside them. But have hope Rebecca, as that is why I had granted you the power of being the Dragon Queen in the first place. There are a select few there in the dragon lands... that being Garble himself whom really doesn't like ponies."
"Too bad that purple princess' dragon isn't willing to give up himself and bow before both you or me."
"It is a shame, but Garble himself can be easily persuaded to joining our cause. And to my surprise, there is even a small group of unicorns that really hate the boy as well."
"Unicorns from Equestria to join our cause?!" A blood dragon had spoken out in disagreement, banging his clawed wings to the tiles of the black tower next to me. "I am going to have to show my dissent for that choice! There is no way we can allow such to join us!"
A couple of blood dragons roar in agreement over this, but even so they could see the rage within their own deity's eyes. Vuurtongo wasn't having any of this from the naysayers whom had a voice in his own theocracy, with Rebecca as the messenger and his image in disguise.
"Commander Uritwa! I did not give you such a rank so you could disagree with me!" His deep vice had roared out with a bit of anger and the fire building up within his own eyes to show him what kind of monster he would truely be to him if the blood dragon decided to turn his back on him. "They could be of use to us. When they have helped us to a point, we will dispose of them properly."
"My apologies Vuurtongo." The commander apologized, bowing his head in shame.
The god-dragon brushed him off and ignored his mere attempt at an apology. He turned back to look at every other one of the blood dragons. "Now... go and prepare for more training. We'll need it when we face the Equestrian armies in battle again or for another invasion set in."
The subjects look at one another in wonder, bowing before the deity and then flying off either behind him or past me. His eyes turn to watch them leaving, then looks back at me, staying firmly right where he was. His wings furl open a bit to brush off some wind, and then close up as he clears his throat.
"And the remaining Global Persecution armies? What happened to them?"
"They are still here," I responded to him, the sound of his nostrils breathing heard loudly from where I stand. "They were in shock when they found out that their leader was lost. With all due assurance for them, I made a message quite clear that I will lead them still."
"Good," He said, breath coming out from his fiery mouth which released out smoke and flames from there for the moment. When he exhaled, the interior of his mouth dimmed out the fire, at least until he spoke again. "But even you, whom grew up hating that race... you are just like the first Dragon Queen I brought into this world, with a purpose of destroying the creations of the First Alicorn. That, whom betrayed me and made me a part of that pendant you wear."
"We'll go after her when Equestria is burnt."
"Of course we will, but there is one who gets in the way... your old friend Brayden, whom carries the creation of the Alicorns. The Song of Order."
"He means nothing to me. I would kill him given the chance."
Vuurtongo raises his left claw and looks at them in observation as he continues to speak with me. "Even so with his own betrayal to you and the path he has fallen to, you must feel quite angry with him."
Memories of the times that me and him were friends in school came in mind, as well as the times that I had yelled at him or threatened to break it off. He really was so sensitive to practically everything that I disagreed with him over, especially my threats towards his 'so-called ponies'. "I do. He's a distraction and I will do what I must to wipe him out." I told my master.
"Perhaps you have a plan in mind for yourself then?" He said to me, placing his front claw back onto the rocky ground.
"He trusts his own close friends whom he protects. I think I know what I could do to capture him, and then kill him once I bring him here," I explained to him, his ears open to my voice as I continued. "I will select one of his own friends whom he shares those 'sparks' with in friendship. There is an offering that I will give to them of giving him to me, or that said pony whom I threatened... will die. I shouldn't fail that plan easily."
"Very intriguing plan," Vuurtongo responded. "They should surrender so easily as they would always do in the past during the conquering of Whinnepagos... well, until your ancestor failed it. I have hopes that you won't fail my bidding this time. Go to Ponyville outside of our own borders, and commit to your plan."
"I assure you, we will succeed and the entire realm of Equus will bow to us as their new leaders."
The pendant around my neck began to glow in the colors of fire as if a mini-portal on it had opened up for the god-dragon himself. He looks at me with fiery eyes as his eyes looked directly at the jewel. "I hope you do, Dragon Queen." His final words had been spoken.
He began to dissolve into particles of dust himself until there wasn't a single part of him left to see. The dust particles flowed towards me, but never directly ran into me, more solely gathered into the pendant. With his soul entered inside from which it resided, the pendant stopped glowing and returns to normal as I wasn't using any of my powers that powered it up for battle.
My dragon wings behind me spread open, and I leap upwards towards the clouded red skies above. The wings began to flap to support me up there the higher I had gone up into the clouds have blinded my vision. The journey upward through the clouds seem to be like miles above, but I know they shouldn't last long since I've travelled these skies before on my return.
From the impact to those clear blue morning skies that was soon to transition to early afternoon by the sun in the sky, I inhale a breath of fresh air and exhale it out. Blinking for a moment, my eyes turn to the north where in that distance, there is only the glimpse of shadow from the mountain that Equestria's capital resides on.
I knew what went on there, with the attack I had sent for a suicide mission of attacking the ponies there in order to send a message, but I knew even so, a clearer message had to be sent when I contacted him for the first time here by the messenger who flew there. But this time, I will be the one heading there myself.
My katanas are ready should there be any resistance from him, and I believe that there is one pony that he knows that I could weaken enough from her emotions to give him up to me. Knowing he'll resist, I could kill him there given the chance.
As I fly overhead to the north, I believe I will let my thoughts continue to think of something in regards to this. I won't let my master down this time, and I will make sure of it. The blood of the paladin will be spilt...
