Okay, so, this isn't ever a scenario I thought I'd find myself in, but here we are.

Last chapter, I pulled a classic me and didn't go into details about the sex scene between Damien and Bella. Now while you guys probably think I just didn't bother, I did genuinely consider writing one, and posting it. However, with my lack of both real life experience and writing experience in this field, I decided against doing it. I thought, and still think, it would turn out cringey and hard to read. That being said, a reader offered to write one for me and see how I liked it. Nothing to lose, right? So they did, and they posted it.

If you guys would like to read this... extended scene, there's a link on my profile for you to go read it. For future reference, would you guys like me to post full scenes? Or just leave it hanging again?

Also, I'm slightly disappointed none of you recognized the last sentence in chapter 300. That, or you didn't tell me you did. Did any of you?

That being said, enjoy!

"What do you mean you don't know?!" Simon shouted, causing everyone in the living room to jump. Drake made a face and looked over at the redhead, who had been on the phone for the last twenty minutes or so.

"Jeez, don't do that." Elise hissed, hand on her chest. "I nearly had a heart attack." Simon completely ignored her and only seemed to get more irritated.

"How do you not know?!" He demanded, slamming his hand against the wall. "Well find out!...Oh for fuck sake!...No, I didn't...Ugh, I'm not mad at you, Ichiya...Yes I mean it, I'm sorry...No, I won't talk to my mom for you, goodbye." With this Simon hung up the phone, looking both disgusted and defeated.

"Well, I take it that didn't go well." Steph said.

"Guess who doesn't have a clue where Bella is?" Simon asked. "If your answer was anyone in Blue Pegasus, you're our winner! Please collect your prize, fucking nothing!" To emphasize his rage Simon kicked the wall, making the small house shudder slightly. Drake had to admit the boys new temper was getting on his nerves a little bit.

"Okay, wait a minute." Ultear said. She had been quiet since joining them in the living room, but now she looked confused. "Something has to be up."

"What do you mean?" Elise asked, looking over at her.

"Think about it," Ultear replied. "Both Damien and Bella have disappeared and no one knows where they went? Those two are pretty similar."

"They're both Demon Lords," Drake finished for her. "Do you think something happened to them?" Ultear shrugged, looking unsure.

"I don't know, but it can't be a coincidence." She said before looking over at Simon, who was angrily pacing around the room. "Not even Jenny knows?"

"Nope," Simon answered. "Ichiya asked everyone for me. No one knows."

"Call him back." Ultear said. Simon made a face at this.

"Why?" He asked.

"Just do it." Confused but listening, Simon went back to the phone and picked it up, redialing the number he'd used to get a hold of Ichiya. After waiting for a few seconds the phone was answered.

"Yeah it's me again." Simon said. "I've got another question for you." At this, he looked over at Ultear, who was watching him.

"Ask if she left with Damien." She said. Simon nodded at this.

"Did you see her leave with Damien?" He asked, everyone waiting quietly. Drake felt like they got their answer as Simon's eyes widened. "He what?" He asked. "...No no, thanks. I appreciate it." Hanging up again, Simon turned back to them.

"So?" Steph asked, sounding hopeful.

"Damien was with Bella a whole lot before they disappeared." He replied. "They were last scene together too."

"That just confirms it, then." Drake said, thinking to himself. "Both of them have to be together." Now Drake didn't know what to think. Damien had left for some kind of spiritual retreat, and no one knew where he was. But now Bella was also missing? Something had to be up. He didn't know if the two of them were together or what, but it was always possible.

"So, now what?" Elise asked. "If we don't know where he is, we can't find him."

"I asked Quinn to check with her contacts around the country," Steph said. "See if anyone's seen him."

"If he doesn't want to be found, I don't know if that will help." Elise said. Drake knew this. Whatever was going on, it had him curious.

"Yo, Drake." Drake made a face and looked up as Simon called him.

"What?" He asked. Simon frowned as he answered.

"I've been meaning to ask, but why are you wearing Nashi's scarf?" He asked. "It should've been buried with her." Drake made a face at this. He didn't agree with that at all, but he could see why Simon thought that.

"Natsu gave it too me," he replied, looking down at the fabric around his neck. "Said she would have wanted me to have it." Simon didn't continue his questioning, he only seemed slightly miffed and looked away. Before the conversation could veer in different direction, there was a knock at the door. Ultear moved to answer it, and Drake saw Quinn standing there.

"Quinn!" Steph said, jumping to her feet as she saw the Lieutenant. "Did you hear anything?" Quinn said as she stood in the doorway.

"No, I'm sorry." He said. "I talked to everyone I could get a hold of, but nobodies seen anything. Then again, I didn't have much faith in this investigation" Drake had to admit, hoping that a soldier had seen Damien was a long shot. Elise had said already, if he didn't want to be found he wouldn't be.

"Damn," Steph hissed, looking upset. "I was hoping someone had seen him."

"We could ask about Bella," Ultear said. "See if anyone's seen her. If they have, maybe we an find Damien."

"That's a good idea," Steph said with a nod as she turned back to Quinn. "Can you ask around again? This time for a blonde girl from Blue Pegasus. Her name is Bella Realight." Quinn nodded.

"I can do that," she said. "But don't hope for a miracle." Leaving the house, Quinn went to make good on her promise. This left the rest of the group to their own devices, growing quiet once again.

"Do we have anything that Damien's magical signature could be on?" Simon asked, making everyone look at him.

"Why?" Drake asked, confused.

"If he do, we could use Crime Sociere's airship to track him." he said. "You know, like we did to Apocalypse on the Christina." Drake remembered this. After they had been attacked by Apocalypse, They used the Christina's tracking system to follow Apocalypse's magical signature to Era, and then to Silverridge. It wasn't an unknown technique to him.

"I don't think we do," Steph said. "Even anything he used at home he took with him."

"Damn," Simon said. "No clothes or anything?" Steph shook her head, and this seemed to only irritate Simon further. Drake had to admit, that would have been convenient. Even if Damien had left anything of note, he doubted his signature would have been left on clothes. They would have had to be on him every day for a decade for that to happen.

It was only here that Drake became painfully aware of the fabric around his neck.

Slowly looking down, he stared at the white and black checkered scarf, his own reason echoing in his head.

"We need you, Drake. Nashi needs you."

He hadn't seen heads or tails of END since she'd spoken o him first, and even if he wanted to talk to her he had no idea how too. He wasn't even totally sure he was sane at the moment, because Nashi was dead. He knew she was, and he'd seen the body.

Her coffin was empty.

No, it wasn't. It had to have been his imagination, there was no way the corpse was just gone. Maybe he was just grasping for a reason, a sign. She was dead, he knew that. Having Crime Sociere scan the scarf for Nashi was a fools errand.

She was dead. Nashi was dead. There was no point. He was just seeing things. No point in bringing it up. Besides, Drake had been wearing the scarf. His own magic probably muddied the signature.

She was gone, he knew it.

"Damien! Damien!" Damien was thrown out of his feeling of zen as Bella started to shout his name. Jumping and losing concentration, he looked over at Bella to find her looking distressed.

"What?" He asked, looking around. "What's going on?"

"Meridia! She talked to me!" Damien's eyes widened as he stared at her.

"What did she say?" He asked, ignoring his disbelief that she'd been spoken too. Bella looked confused and frightened, playing with her hands as she thought quietly.

"S-She said that there's a tragedy coming," she replied. "The Demon Lords, one of them, they brought somebody back from the dead. That's why they aren't talking to us. She said that we needed to be ready." Damien made a face at this. A tragedy? A resurrected soul? Where was this coming from?

"Did she say who they brought back?" He asked. "What was going to happen?" Bella shook her head, still looking distressed.

"No, she didn't." She said. "She wasn't able to say any more, she didn't want to break the code as well."

The code. It had been a while, but Damien knew what code she was talking about. Xisplate had spoke about it before. Demon Lords lived by three laws they were sworn to follow. One, The Demon Lords could never allow a takeover wizard to access their full power. Two, they were never to tell anyone of any forbidden knowledge they had.

And three, they were not allowed to resurrect a soul from the dead back to the living.

Xisplate had no spoken of what would happen should these laws be broken, but Damien could only assume it was very serious. If a broken law was why the Demon Lords had withdrawn from this plane, it meant that something very serious was indeed going on.

"Did she say anything else?" He asked, still looking for answers. "Did she give you anything else?" Bella nodded.

"She gave me some sort of prophecy," she said. "She said when the King rises, humanity will find salvation in the end." Damien had never heard this so called prophecy before, but it sounded like it was going to be a huge problem. Who was this King Meridia spoke of? How was he going to rise, and when? Was it a rise to power, or just in general? And how exactly would humanity find salvation in the end?

"...We need to get out of here," Damien said, standing from his spot on the tree stump. "We need to get back home and tell everyone."

"Tell them what?" Bella asked, also standing.

"That something's coming," he replied, looking over at her. "Something huge is on the horizon. I don't know what, but if Meridia came to you and spoke about it, then it's clearly huge. We need to go, now."

"O-Okay..." Damien watched as Bella stared at her feet, still looking upset. He understood how she felt, they'd just been told something huge was coming by an otherworldly being.

"Come on," Damien said as he put a hand on her shoulder. "It'll be okay. We've always pulled through before, and we'll do it again. We just need to make sure we're ready."

"And what if we're not ready?" Bella asked, looking up at him. The sad look in her eyes made Damien feel uncomfortable. "What if we lose people?"

"We won't." Damien replied. "Not again."

"What if we do?" Damien frowned at this.

"We lost Nashi because we weren't ready," he said. "We'll be ready this time. I promise."

"Hasn't anyone ever told you not to make promises like that?" She asked. Damien felt he had heard to do that before, but he ignored this and walked towards their supplies.

"We just need to get home and warn the others." He said. "We can leave some of this stuff, just whatever we came here with." Damien heard her sigh and come to join him, working with him to take down their tent and pack of the few things they'd brought with them. Working in silence, Damien was given time to think about what was happening, After months of silence, they'd been given a sign. Not only that, but another warning. The last sign he'd been given by a Demon Lord was when Xisplate told him someone would die. He hadn't done all he could to avoid that outcome, and look where it got them. Now he needed to do whatever he could to avoid another tragedy.

If he really wanted to avoid hurting his family, he needed to warn them this time.

Having left Ultear's house, the group had decided that they needed a plan. After casting a vote, they decided that it would be best for them to go home and see if Damien would return on his home. Ultear had gone to see the mayor and tell him she was leaving, and the other waited patiently in the market. Quinn would pass through here if she was coming to tell them something, so it was a good spot to sit.

"Nice to see the people around here are light spirited," Simon said, breaking Drake from his thoughts. He nodded in agreement at this, happy the townsfolk were able to bounce back so quickly.

"Gotta be able to out here," he said as he crossed his arms. "With danger around the corner."

"I just hope Damien comes home soon," Steph said with a frown on her face. "I miss him."

"Don't worry about it," Drake said as he pulled her into a one armed hug. "I'm sure he's fine."

"Hm..." Steph replied quietly. Drake saw Simon eyeing the pair, but the redhead looked away when he saw Drake caught him. Ignoring this, Drake looked around the marketplace, watching the people talk and laugh with each other. The threat was in no way gone, but with the damage Crime Sociere had done to The Enchanted Blades, it wasn't likely the crime would continue the way it had.

"Hey, Steph!" Drake's grip on the girl was broken as Quinn jogged up to them, looking out of breath.

"Quinn!" Steph said, sounding excited now. "Did you hear anything?" Quinn nodded at this, a huge smile on her face.

"You bet I did," she said, pulling a display lacrima out of her jacket. "A contact on the West coast sent my this. A new article from a few months ago." The lacrima blared to life, showing Drake and the others some sort of newspaper. The title of the front page gave Drake all the info he needed.

BLUE PEGASUS ACE BELLA REALIGHT STOPS ROBBERY IN DOWNTOWN PORT TRAVIC

"Port Travic?" Elise. asked. "That's on the Northern coast."

"That's like three hours away from here by airship!" Steph said, sounding elated. "And it was only a few months ago!"

"What if they aren't there?" Simon demanded, crossing his arms. "They might be on the move for all we know."

"It's our only lead though," Drake replied. "And we know Bella's with Damien, so it's our best bet to find them."

"This same girls been seen all around town for months as well," Quinn said as he put the lacrima away. "Apprently she's camped out nearby."

"That settles it!" Steph shouted, sounding even more excited than before. "We need to go and find her! Come on, let's go and tell Jellal we're going to Port Travic!" Drake watched as Steph pulled Simon away, leaving Elise and him with Quinn.

"Well she got excited all of a sudden," Elise said.

"She misses Damien a lot is all," Drake replied, looking back at Quinn. "Thanks so much for your help." Quinn shrugged him off at this.

"It's no big deal," she said as she dug around in her pocket. She pulled out a slip of paper and handed it to Drake. When he looked at it, a number was hastily scrawled on it.

"What's that?" He asked.

"A way to get in contact with me," Quinn replied as he took it. "If you ever need me again, just call. I'll do whatever I can."

"That's pretty sweet of you." Elise said. Quinn shrugged.

"I get the feeling you kids get into a lot of trouble," she said. "Figured I'd get myself involved if I can." With this, Quinn bid the two farewell and walked away from them. Drake watched her go, wondering what exactly she wanted him to do. Just be in a near death experience and call her? Still, having a military contact would be nice.

"Where'd the others go?" Drake turned and watched as Ultear joined them again, looking confused. Elise sighed.

"To the Crime Sociere airship," she replied. "Looks like we're headed to Port Travic."

"Why?" Ultear asked, still confused. Drake chuckled and pocketed his hands, walking after Steph and Simon's scent.

"Too completely regroup," he said as the girls joined him. "We're just missing one more piece." As he said this, his eyes drifted down to the fabric around his neck.

Only one more piece. And she isn't it.

Less of a cliffhanger than usual, me thinks. Like i said above, if you guys would like to read the lemon between Damien and Bella, there's a link on my profile. I hope you enjoyed, leave a review! Let's try and get five!

Chapter 302: The Scarf
