Author's Notes: For both new and old readers alike, I have made the decision to go back and rewrite/revise Wicked Game for consistency and cleanup. Some chapters will be moved around, others may be added.
Before diving back into this story, I must stress the below:
1. All characters and locations are the rightful property of Riot Games and affiliated artists. All OCs belong to myself and any respective persons involved in the production of this fanfic.
2. The personalities of each character are my own interpretation and fit the narrative of this story. Their decisions also attempt to follow a natural flow of events and consequences thereof.
3. Lore has a very heavy influence in this fanfic. I do extensive research and include as many sources as possible (shorts, sessions, comics, cinematics, backgrounds, events - should they pertain to canonical lore - etc.) I am not perfect however, and may miss a few details.
4. Expect puns. I have horrible influences from all angles now.
5. I'm dedicating this to a good friend of mine who somehow managed to convince me to write this before anything else. Admittedly, they've made it to the tops of my own pairings too (which kinda makes sense since I'm writing the darned fic to begin with lol)
6. Fiora has an accent which is annotated with various words, however to maintain readability only a few will be adjusted.
Last, but most importantly of all, the title of this fanfic was originally changed from Luminous Waltz of the Blade to Wicked Game, based on the original song by Chris Issak. However almost all versions of this track I have listened to thus far set the tone and pacing of this story. I may throw in the ones I like the most at some point, who knows.
