Well boys and girls, here we are. This chapter, 339, marks the biggest milestone we've hit so far.
1 million words.
How in the hell did I get here. How have I not quit. I can't really find a way to answer any of these questions, honestly. Maybe I'm just more dedicated. I dunno. It's only fitting that, as we hit this milestone, we reach the climax of this arc. We enter the final leg of the fight.
And in this chapter, the full story comes out. I did my best to keep this consistent with what we've known for a while, so please let me know if something doesn't add up!
Please Enjoy.
Far away from the ruins of Magnolia, in the western sea, sat a small island. It was very reminiscent of another island that had been used to fool a certain group, just on the opposite side of the country. The seas around said island were as turbulent and unfriendly as they come, although some would say that was on purpose. The island, usually budding with life and people going to and from, was uncharacteristically empty. Save for the very peak.
Zeus made a face as he watched Athena's magic do it's work. Since he, Poseidon and Hades had returned here, He'd been doing his best to see that the woman's hard work did not go to waste. After all, it was thanks to her that they could continue on schedule. Her Brain control spell would prove quite handy in taking on the next phase.
"Zeus," Poseidon said as he walked up behind him. "I've secured the mountain. We're the only ones here."
"Good," Zeus said. "I don't want anyone else here if those children decide to give chase and meet us here. We will be the ones to fight her off. Where is Hades?"
"He's making sure that the others at the safe house are okay," Poseidon said. "Aside from who we lost, everyone seems to be okay."
Lost.
It was only then that Zeus was reminded. Demeter was gone, Taken from them as she tried to complete her goal. Hephaestus had almost met the same fate had he not had a consciousness transfer set up. The fact that they had lost one of their own made Zeus' stomach turn. He couldn't feel anger or hatred for the Fairy who'd done it. After all, they'd asked for this by attacking them so many times. Even still, knowing that Demeter's life now rested on his shoulders too was not pleasing.
"Make sure he gets back here swiftly," he finally said, watching as END's mind was attacked by Athena's spell. She was currently hooked up to the relay tower, the spell being process directly into the back of her head. It would only be a matter of time before they had her under their control.
"Uh, Zeus?" Poseidon asked. "We have a problem."
"Of what variety?" Zeus asked without turning to him.
"I think you know," Turning, Zeus saw that Poseidon was pointing off the peak of the mountain. Narrowing his eyes on the horizon, Zeus looked for what the problem was.
He soon saw an airship on the horizon, one with a light blue horse figurehead. He frowned.
"They gave chase after all," he said with a frown. "I had hoped they wouldn't. I hoped my words to Drake were persuasive enough."
"It seems they were not," Poseidon replied, "Shall we?" Zeus frowned. He really didn't want to do this to them, but they weren't giving them any option.
"Yes, let us end this now." Both men raised their staves, crossing them in the sky. As they did so, thunder boomed in the sky. Storm clouds gathered and a vicious gale began to circle the the sea. With their combined storm magic, the airship would not be able to get close.
"Now," Zeus said as he pointed to the airship. "Disappear."
Lightning boomed from the sky, striking the left wing of the airship. Zeus watched as in dipped down in the sky and began to fall, feeling no joy in his heart from having to do this.
Before a bright white light enveloped the wing. The destroyed pieces flowed back into place, and the airship itself gained altitude and sped along merrily.
"What the hell was that?" Poseidon demanded.
"I don't know," Zeus replied as he stretched his arms. "All I know is we aren't letting them reach us." Pushing, the wind of the storm responded to Zeus' will and forced itself against the airship like a wall, halting it's progress. Zeus did not let up for a moment, pushing as hard as he could. Two blips shone on the airship, and in the blink of an eye the ship continued gaining ground just like before. He could only assume some of them were pushing against him. Poseidon gathered his hands together and gathered the rain from the storm in a swell, throwing it down on the ship like an aerial tsunami. A multitude of attacks consisting of bright orange whips, icy spears, lightning blasts and fiery explosions pelted the tsunami, opening up a hole for the ship to continue flying right at the peak of the mountain.
"How the hell are they still going?" Poseidon demanded. Zeus knew how. It was the same way they'd pressed on no matter what they'd thrown at them. It was the same way they'd all gotten so far.
"We can't let them have her," he said as the airship got closer and closer. They were so close in fact Zeus could see someone standing on the horse figurehead. This someone had messy maroon coloured hair, and a black jacket that whipped in the wind. No matter what elements pelted him, the look on his tanned face stayed the same. One of rage. "Push harder!"
And so they did. Zeus summoned a massive bolt of lightning and hurled it at the ship, only for a green haired figure to launch into the sky and absorb it all, blasting it back at them. Redirecting it away, Zeus quickly summoned the winds and blasted the front of the ship again, this time it combining it with Poseidon's rain. Holes formed in the ships hull, but they were quickly sealed with what looked like iron. Cannons appeared out of the hull and blasted magic at the peak, but all of them missed due to both men's combined defensive efforts. Zeus raised his staff, a massive lightning bolt appearing from the sky and striking it. He felt the power course down the staff and into his own body, and it combined with his own magic power to create an explosive reaction.
"Thunder Lance," at these words and a crack of thunder, a massive spear of lightning was launched from the peak of the mountain directly at the ship. But, somehow, it was once again nullified by the girl with green hair.
Poseidon raised his hands, charged with his own magic power. The air around the mountain condensed with the water, and the man looked forward.
"Crushing Monsoon," the atmosphere responded to his will, morphing into a vicious storm with water that sliced at the skin. The storm tore at the ship and cut all manner of it into pieces, but every, missing piece was quickly replaced with either ice, a replica or iron. Zeus growled under his breath as the ship got closer, and he could now see Drake more clearly.
Throughout all of this intense barrage, he had remained standing on the figurehead. His arms crossed, his mouth twisted in a frown. His eyes had not wavered from the tip of the mountain, and Zeus felt himself growing angrier by the second.
"Do you not value the lives of those who follow you, Drake?" Zeus demanded aloud. "Would you throw all of them away to take her back?"
"Zeus..."
"I know, lend me your power."
Enough was enough.
The men channelled their power together again, this time pumping as much as they could into their crossed staves. The tips of the lightning bolt and trident glowed with immense energy, and together both men aimed it at the encroaching ship.
"Electro Typhoon."
The storm converged on the ship, every single cloud crackling with electricity and every drop of rain slicing the ships hull like a blade. Zeus watched as the airship was torn to shreds before him, still not gaining any satisfaction from watching these children suffer. He didn't want this, but they were forcing his hand. He didn't want to-
"There's no way!" Zeus was brought out of his stupor by Poseidon's cry. He looked back at the airship, and found it raising through the air once again, this time a barrier of magic protecting it.
Were those...cards attached to the hull?
Zeus watched, dumbfounded, as a bright white light engulfed the airship. The storm disappeared in a heartbeat, leaving barely a trace that it had ever even been there. There was no way. That spell could engulf entire armies and tear them to shreds in seconds. It could wipe a mountain range off the map. How had they-
"Zeus, they're too close!" Poseidon shouted. Zeus hadn't realised how much speed the airship had gotten, as it was now closing in on them. Jumping back, dirt and debris was shot up as they rammed the ship right into the peak of the mountain. Getting to his feet, Zeus watched as Lord knew how many people got off of the ship. None of them wasted any time, all of them charging straight for END.
"Stop them!" Zeus shouted as he spun his staff, charging it with magic. "They can't take her!" Running to intercept the children, Zeus realised that it was not their only goal. Some of them were running towards him as well.
"Better watch out, you old fuck!" The girl with green hair shouted. "We just might overwhelm you!" Zeus growled and aimed his staff at them.
"Not likely!" He shouted, blasting off lightning. He watched, dumbfounded, as the girl swallowed his hit like it was nothing. Now he felt stupid, his panic had caused him to forget. Rina, The Lightning God Slayer. Immune to all forms of lightning magic.
Growling, he moved his aim from the girl and blasted lightning out of his staff again; this time at point blank range. The explosion of magic blinded everyone coming to him, so Zeus took this opportunity to blast magic at everyone he could see. He took out people he didn't know the name of or even recognise, but he didn't care. At this point, they had chosen their fate. If they died here defying him and his wishes, then so be it.
"Nyah!" Zeus' eyes widened as his magic refused to come out, a bright orange tube wrapped around his right wrist. The tube spawned more tubes and grabbed at his staff, freeing it from his hands and tossing it to a girl with short brown hair.
"You!" He shouted, aiming his free left hand at the girl. Panicking, the girl tossed the staff to the group, who immediately hid it from him. Making a face, Zeus summoned the winds and blasted the group with a gale force equivalent to a small tornado. He watched as the children scattered, some torn into the sky by the winds. A girl with black hair stumbled into the opening and slammed a card on the ground. As the card made contact the winds slowed, and as this happened two boys came at Zeus from the side.
"Heartbreak Blizzard!" The blonde one shouted.
"Air Lock!" The other shouted. Zeus shielded his face as snow tore at his robes, a sphere of air robbing him of oxygen. Growing impatient, he exploded his magic outwards and tore away the barrier, and then blew away the snow with even more wind. Turning we found the boys recovering, and he aimed his hand at them.
"Gale Force Winds!" He shouted. Both boys were lifted up by the winds and tossed far away, so far in fact that they flew off of the mountain. Before they disappeared they were grabbed by the brown haired girls tubes, bringing them back up.
"Thanks Kumi!" One of them shouted.
"You're welcome, nyah!" Kumi replied. Zeus aimed his hand at them, but a sudden explosion of magic caused him to turn. He saw Rina holding his staff, aiming it right at him.
"This staff is amazing," she commented with a cheeky grin. "It can channel my magic so well...It's intense."
"Give that back, child." Zeus commanded. Rina shrugged.
"If you insist," she replied. "I'll give it back alright." Zeus made a face, but his eyes widened as the girls magic swelled to massive proportions.
"You-"
"God Slayer Secret Art!" Rina shouted as thunder sounded above. "Fulminis Pulsus!" The end of the staff cracked, and soon it exploded. A circle of black lightning exploded out of the staff's end, hurtling towards Zeus at a speed he could't hope to defend against. Bracing himself, Zeus took the attack head on and felt the explosions rack against his body. His affinity to lightning certainly protected him somewhat, but it was clear the attack was something he hadn't been ready for. As the smoke cleared, he growled and looked up. Poseidon was busy fighting who knew who many of these foolish children, so he couldn't provide him any backup. Hades was no where to be found, presumably still at the safe house with the others. They were all alone, at the mercy of these children.
"Hey, geezer!" Zeus turned at the insult, seeing the two Dragon Slayers from Sabertooth preparing an attack. A Unison Raid attack at that. Both looked battered and bruised from the prior fighting, but the rage in their eyes could not be denied. "This for destroying Magnolia! For taking Nashi away! For hurting our friends!"
"Dragon Slayer Secret Art! Holy Shadow Dragon's Flash Fang!" The small yet dangerous orb of combined magic glowed as it was launched forward, and Zeus gathered himself to protect against the attack.
Until it flew over his head.
"Hit him hard, Drake!"
Zeus turned over his shoulder and watched as the orb was grabbed inside a clawed hand.
It was Drake.
Poison combined inside the orb with the light and shadow, turning it into an even more volatile spell. The look in Drake's eyes, the rage, it caused Zeus to pause. He brought this on himself. He'd done these things to him. Did he really deserve to win?
"Give her back!" Drake roared. "She's not your tool!"
He still didn't understand, did he?
Zeus smirked.
"I do the things I need to," he replied as he gathered his magic into his right hand. "I won't be taken down by mere children!"
Their fists connected. Magic crackled, and for half a second nothing happened.
And then the magic exploded, engulfing the entire peak in smoke and debris as it flew everywhere.
Drake jumped back and cradled his right arm. He knew that combining his own magic with Michael and Keita's would be dangerous, but he couldn't feel his arm. Couple that with Zeus' defence against his attack, and he knew he was badly hurt.
"Everyone okay?!" He shouted to the group that had gathered with him. From a quick look everyone was there, having gotten out of the way of the massive attack so only Zeus and Poseidon were trapped inside.
"Eyes on the prize, Cyanide Breath.' Elise said with her arms raised. "It's not over yet." Acknowledging she was right, Drake turned and raised his good arm up to fight. As the smoke cleared, Zeus and Poseidon were revealed. They both looked battered and bruised, but still very much standing.
And in front of Luna, at that.
Zeus stood up tall and coughed, brushing his robes of dirt.
"I'll admit," he said. "That was a tad more violent than I had been ready for. But it's clear all of you are severely injured." Drake gritted his teeth at this. He knew it was true. So did the others. They were all beaten up beyond belief.
"I had hoped," Zeus continued as he looked at Drake. "That my words would be enough to stop you. That bloodshed could be avoided."
"I'll give you credit, I paused." Drake replied as he thought back to the pain those words had brought him. He'd nearly caved. Fallen back into despair. It was only when his friends rallied behind him that he remembered what really mattered. "But what I think doesn't matter. We're bringing her home, no matter what!" These words caused a resounding roar of approval from the group, making Drake grin. They could do this.
"Please stop this," Zeus said, holding up his hands. "We do not need to do this. No more blood needs to be spilled over this."
"I beg to differ," Simon spat. Zeus' eyes became soft, almost unnerving.
"May I ask all of you something?" He said, causing silence to come over them. "A question from an old, foolish man?"
"Zeus?" Poseidon asked, but was silenced by a raised hand.
"May I?" He repeated. Drake cast a weary eye back at everyone else, but no one else said much, Sighing and taking command, Drake nodded.
"One question," he hissed. "Or else we kill you." Zeus nodded, rubbing his hands together.
"Thank you," he said. Silence came over the peak of the mountain, the wind whipping wildly around the peak as they stood there. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Zeus lifted his head and looked to them.
"If I told you our plan." he said. "If I told you what it was we were doing, would you try to understand? Would you allow us to continue?"
Drake's ears perked up at this. Their plan? He had to be kidding. There was no way he was just planning on spilling the beans right here right now. Why would he?
No, it made sense. Zeus' whole prerogative since Drake saw him back at Magnolia's ruins seemed to be ending the fighting. He seemed reluctant and regretful about what had happened and what they'd done. It did seem plausible that he would tell them his plan if it did what he wanted.
"Zeus, I advise you not to-" Poseidon started, once again silenced. Drake balled up his fists and stowed his anger, deciding this was too good an opportunity to pass up.
"Fine," Drake said. "Tell us your plan. Leave nothing out. I will not promise you that we'll leave, but I can promise you we'll listen."
"I suppose that's all I can ask of you," Zeus said with a kind smile. "After all that has happened, it would be foolish of me to ask more." The man turned and looked at Luna, and for a moment Drake grew tense. He walked up to her, looking closely at her face.
"Our story starts over twenty years ago," he said. "In the eastern half of the Pergrande Kingdom. You know of it?" Drake did. The Kingdom to the far east of Fiore, one so massive that Fiore could fit inside of it at least twenty times, maybe more.
"Yeah," he replied. Zeus nodded.
"We belonged to a wizard guild there," he said. "It's name was Shimmering Sentinel, located in the city of Trevean. Although, it has long since disbanded at this point. For unrelated reasons, I assure you." Drake doubted that. "Regardless, that's not relevant information."
Zeus raised a hand and traced a finger down Luna's cheek, rage dwelling up inside Drake as he did.
"At the time in Pergrande, there was a certain family." He said. "A family that, for generations, have been gifted with the ability of foresight. For as long as the country had recorded history, the girls born into his family were capable of seeing events from the future. There was never more than one woman born into this family at one time, however. The last bearer of this gift needed to die before another girl could attain it. Why this is, I'll never know. But it remains a fact." Zeus was silent for a moment before he turned back to them, a frown on his face.
"Many years ago, around the time some of your parents were trapped for seven years, the last retainer of the power, an woman at 80 years of age, foretold of a great war coming. She said that the entire planet would be brought into this conflict, and that many lives would be lost. She died not a year later, her prophecy holding strong. For a while nothing happened, but we caught word of the Fairy Tail guild's war with the Tartaros guild, and how the country had nearly been destroyed. While many in Pergrande paid it no mind, I was vigilant. Something made me suspicious. The timing made me...apprehensive. At the same time Alvarez invaded Fiore, one of the seer's grandsons had a baby girl. She was four when she gave us her first prophecy." Drake felt his mouth go dry at this.
"What did she say?" He asked. Zeus frowned as he looked back at Luna.
"She was so young, but she spoke with vivid detail," he said. "She said she dreamt of a girl with vibrant pink hair. How she stood in front of a a city in ruins, a dark evil magic emanating from the city." Zeus paused for effect, before turning back to them. "And as it turns out, around the same time it seems, Lucy Heartfilia gave birth to a baby girl. One with vibrant pink hair. I had been watching the Fairy Tail guild since Tartaros as a safety measure. I travelled to this country, and I researched the one you call the Black Wizard Zeref. I learned of his evil powers, what he'd done. After the war with Alvarez, Mrs Dragneel, or Ms. Heartfilia as she was at the time, published a book about her adventures. One that contained...Explicit details about what exactly Zeref had done in his quest to end his own life. How he created the ultimate demon. And, coincidentally, that Natsu Dragneel had defeated the Black Wizard. I was unsure of this connection for a time, but before long it became clear; END and Natsu Dragneel were one and the same. Mrs. Dragneel is a good author, but she paid no mind to her continuity one to many times. After this, I knew I was right. That the baby girl born to Lucy Heartfilia was indeed the same girl in the baby's vision."
Drake paled at this. Zeus had used Lucy's book to plan this? There was no way. How had he, in all these years, never noticed this? That the immortal, unbeatable Black Wizard Zeref was been defeated by Natsu? Granted if he understood right it was actually the Curse of Contradiction that did him in, but that didn't detract from what Natsu accomplished.
Drake felt like his skull had split open.
END the demon. Nashi's demon having the same name. How had he missed all of this? The signs? Her power was clearly demonic. He recalled before Nashi died, how she sometimes spoke to herself in a hushed tone, sometimes preferring to be alone. Had she known then? When had she been told? How long had this been kept from them?! Something this serious?! Was it even true?!
"How were you certain?" Drake asked, cutting the man off as he spoke. He needed to know. "That Natsu was END?"
"Well it's obvious," Zeus replied. "The books of Zeref speak of an inhumanely strong demon. The one that Zeref created to kill him. And then not only is he taken down by Natsu, but Acnologia, the Black Dragon of the Apocalypse, is defeated and sealed away as well? There are no coincidences."
He was right.
Drake felt like a kid again, foolishly believing the revised history his parents and guardians told them. He didn't blame them necessarily. He supposed that under normal circumstances that there was no reason to tell them. After all, who could have guessed all of this would come to pass?
"It was then I decided," Zeus continued, snapping Drake out of his thoughts. "I gathered my loyal supports from Pergrande and we moved to operate in this country. We kept watch over the Fairy Tail guild hall to see if we were correct. We had taken the seer girl with us, who we now call The Oracle. Her visions grew more and more vivid, all detailing this pink haired girl. One detail made me more than certain. She spoke of a checkered scarf around the girls neck."
Drake gulped.
"It was then I knew she was the same girl. We could wait no longer, The Oracle's visions grew worse and worse. So we began operations. We had build up a support network of smaller guilds outside your council's rules to see if we could work to stop this oncoming war. We used them to instigate conflict with you, to see if we could draw out the girls powers. I told you of this, Drake."
He had.
"Why didn't you just ask?" Drake demanded, his head swirling with questions. "If such a war really is on the horizon, we could have helped you!"
"Please let me finish," Zeus said. "And you will understand." Drake closed his mouth, and Zeus continued. "I understand your anger. The things we have done are not the actions of heroes. Of people that will have their actions immortalised for their bravery. I know that. So do the others. At first, when we were unsure of your guilds behaviours we considered asking. We knew contact would be odd given we would have appeared out of nowhere, but we still considered it. That was, until, The Oracle had a vision around five years ago."
He paused.
"She saw the pink haired girl squaring off with a man wearing a crown made of bones. A man who radiated magic so powerful it would make Gods shake in fear. In her vision..." Zeus paused again, looking back at Luna. For a moment he did not speak, but soon he turned back to them.
"In her vision she saw the pink haired girl giving her life to defeat the King. To save this world."
Silence fell over the peak of Mt. Olympus. Nobody spoke for what felt like an eternity, and Drake could not find his words. No, this couldn't be true. There was no way Zeus was telling the truth. But as he looked into the mans pained eyes, he knew it was all true. That this was his attempt to stop the hurting.
"It was then I knew," Zeus said. "That your guild would no agree to my plan. No mother would willingly give their daughter to the slaughter. No friends would watch as she walked to her death. We had watched long enough, seen enough outcomes. There was no way we could ask a guild like Fairy Tail to give up one of their own, much less a young girl, to die. We wouldn't get a yes. In others words, we had to take matters into our own hands. We had to have her for ourselves, or else what had to be done would not be done. After all, The Oracle's most recent vision only confirmed what I feared."
"When the King rises, humanity will find salvation in the end." It was Damien who had spoken. Drake turned to look at his friend in surprise, the man as ghostly white as his hair.
"Yes, exactly." Zeus said, drawing his attention back. "Her words are a double entendre. Salvation in the end does not only refer to a literal end, but also the salvation of humanity itself. After all, the power Zeref imbued inside his brother, and the power that now resides inside Nashi Dragneel, can be abbreviated to END."
Drake felt the pieces click inside his head. It all made sense. Their actions, Nashi and Luna's powers, everything. Zeus really was being truthful. This was their endgame.
"The plan," Zeus said, "It to take END and make her powerful. Powerful enough to stand against the tyrannical King The Oracle saw in her vision. We are doing this because it is what is necessary. We need to do this, or else we will all fall when the King rises. Do you understand now? Do you get why we have done what we've done? Why we've made ourselves the villains of your story? Why we did this? It's to save the world from a horrific outcome. We've done things I'm not proud of. I've hurt all of you in one way or another. But I did it because I felt it was what had to be done. Elise Redfox?"
Drake perked up as Zeus called his friend by name.
"I'm sorry about what happened to you at Phantom Dove. I heard from Jose about what that man did to you. I'd have killed him myself was I present. Damien Dreyar? I'm sorry for what we put you through during the fight with Devil Advocate. I know how hard you were pushed by Taisho. No man your age should be that stressed. Simon Scarlet as well. I almost got your father killed. That's a horrific thing to do to someone. Ultear Fullbuster, what happened to you after we got Nashi killed was unacceptable. That goes for all of you. I'm so sorry."
Drake didn't know what to say. What the hell could he say? Words failed him. There was nothing he could say or do that would make this even remotely right. After all this hurting, all this rage and anger, he found himself looking at Zeus not as an animal or a villain, but as a man desperate to do what was right. A man tortured by the visions he'd been told of. Perhaps lost in them, consumed by trying to save the world he constantly was told was going to burn.
"Now that you've heard all of that," Zeus said. "Now that you know our story, I'll ask you one final time. Will you leave this mountain? Better yet, will you join us? Allow us to have END do what is necessary for the betterment of this entire world? Or are all of you that selfish?"
Were they?
Drake didn't know. He loved Nashi dearly. All he wanted was to have things go back to the way they'd been before The Olympians came into their lives. But was that love worth the entire world? Everything he knew and cared about besides her? Could he reasonably toss all that aside for one person?
Drake looked to his friends. All of them looked stunned, but they all returned his gaze. As he passed over their eyes, their expressions hardened and they all gave him a nod. They were behind him, every last one of them. Taking a deep breath, Drake turned back to Zeus.
"If your story is true, than I do wish you'd come to us years ago." He said, hardening his gaze. "But even still, I can't forgive you for everything you've done and just sign off on this. If what you said is true, than we'll defeat it with her, and defeat it together. We don't need you or your plans. Now, give her back to us. Just like you said, no one else needs to get hurt."
Zeus was silent for a moment, watching him sadly. After a second or two, he sighed.
"I can't do that," he replied as he turned back to Luna. "You aren't willing to do what's necessary. Lives will need to be given for us to survive as a species. For this world to continue turning as it does. And I've seen you all. You aren't capable of walking away from someone who will die." Drake tensed up as Zeus reached behind Luna's head, a clicking noise ringing out.
"People don't need to die for you to win," Drake hissed as Zeus faced them again. "As long as you don't toss them away."
"You should know better than anyone, Drake." Zeus replied. "Sometimes the only way out is to sacrifice a life. Did Nashi teach you nothing?" Drake growled instinctively at this. "Regardless, you have made up your mind. As have I. END!"
Luna's eyes snapped wide open at this. Drake watched, stunned, as she got off of the chair she'd been seated in and stood bolt right up, staring forward.
"Activate your Etherious powers," Zeus said.
Fire exploded out from Luna's form. Dark red flames coated the right half of her body. Her fingers grew fiery red talons. A horn grew from her head and her right eye darkened into a pool of scarlet rage. The magic that exploded outwards was the same from Silverridge. This was the split personality Natsu had told him about. The secret power passed to her from him.
"I'm sorry it had to come to this, Drake." Zeus said sadly, looking away from them. "But you decided that you would resist. And I decided I would not comply with childish desires."
"...!"
"I apologise if she accidentally kills someone. We haven't properly configured Athena's Mind Control spell yet. END. If you would."
Chapter 340: I Promised Her
