Chapter 11: Cut the roses
The next scene shows Mirabel knocking on her sister's door.
Mirabel: " Isa Hey I know we've had our issues… But I am ready to be a better sister … To you so we should just hug it out Huh let's just hug it out".
Isabela: " Hug it out Luisa can't lift an empanada Mariano's looks like a smashed papaya, have you lost your mind!!" She smashed a flower on her vine
"Already not going well". Oscar whispered
"Hold on it gets worse". Mirabel replies
Mirabel: "Isa I feel like your upset and you know what cures being upset a warm embrace".
Isabela : "Get out!"
Isabela then grew a flower over her sister's moth to shut her up as well as vines to keep her out.
"Lo siento Mira I shouldn't have done that". Isabela apologises
"It's Alright you were angry I get it". Mirabel replies
"That's no excuse to let it out on you". She retorted
Isabela: " Everything was perfect , Abuela was happy the family was happy you want to be a better sister apologise for ruining my life ".
"Isabela Maria Madrigal you don't say that ever that is not Okay ". Julieta yelled
"Si, You know better than to treat you sister Like that". Augustin starts
"Si papá I know ". Isabela looked ashamed
"Lo siento Mucho Mira". She said
"Estas bien Isa". She smiled
Mirabel plastered a fake smile on her face but deep down it hurt.
Miguel went over to Mirabel and saw that she was holding back tears. He took her hand gently and took her to the back of the theatre .
Everyone saw this and looked saw this and they all looked sad and broken hearted.
Miguel pulled her in for a gentle hug and just sat in silence with her head resting on his chest.
Mirabel felt safe in his arms as she silently cried. Once the crying was settled he took off her glasses wiped her tears just as Isabela came and hugged her tightly and prepped her face with kisses and she laughed.
"Feeling better?" Isabela asked
"Si very much". Mirabel smiled
"None of that stuff is true okay and I am so sorry I hurt you ". Isabela sulked
"Estas bien Isa te quireo". Mirabel replies as she hugs her sister back
The tree of them went back to their seats as Isabela smiled at her sister.
"Muchas Gracias Miguel I needed that". She gently kissed his cheek
"Anytime ". Miguel smiled
Isabela: "Go On apologise ".
Mirabel: " I … am … sorry".
"How hard was that to say?" Abel asked
"Harder than you think ". Mirabel answers
"I bet". Rosa added
Isabela smirked as she watched her sister force an apology.
"Wait for it". Mirabel replies
Mirabel: " That your life is so great".
"There it is". Bruno smiled
Isabela: " Out!!"
She grew vines to drag her sister out of room but Mirabel was fighting back grabbing onto anything she could find.
Mirabel: " Wait fine I apologise I wasn't trying to your life just… some of us have bigger problems you selfish Entitled princess".
"Mirabel you know better you're both as bad as each other ". Pepa scolds
"Sorry Tia". Mirabel replies
"Lo siento Mucho Isa". Mirabel shrinks
"Estas bien Mira, Although to be fair I was a bit of an Entitled Princess as you call me 'Señorita perfecta'. Isabela said as she put her hands up.
"Did miss Perfect just admit it?" Camilo questioned
"Si, Si I did". Isabela laughed
"The old you wouldn't have". Berto started
"Si, that's true". Isabela chuckled
Isabela: "Selfish, I have stuck being perfect my whole entire life and the only thing you have ever done for me is messing it up".
Mirabel: " Nothing is messed up you can still marry that big dumb hunk".
Isabela: " I never wanted to marry him I was doing it for the family".
"Isabela honey is that true?" Pepa asked
"Si, I just didn't want to disappoint you all". Isabela saddens
"Mija That doesn't matter we just thought you were happy ". Augustin starts
Isabela shook her head.
"Oh Mija I never meant for this I just thought you were happy I am so so sorry love " . Alma promised
"Gracias Abuela ". Isabela smiled
"And just so you know Mariano is not a dumb hunk". Dolores added
"Bien". Camilo smiled
Mirabel: " Isabela That is one serious confession, Come On get over bring it in Uh Isa".
"Really your still wanting the hug". Antonio rolled his eyes
"What I had to at least try". Mirabel replies
Isabela (singing ):
" I just made something unexpected something sharp something new
"It's not symmetrical or perfect but it's beautiful and it's mine what else can I do".
Mirabel " Isa this is the part where we-"
But before Mirabel could say anything her sister was dragged off by vines almost poking her in the eye with a cactus.
(Mirabel):

"Really still wanting that hug?" Camilo sighed
"Que?" Mirabel asked

Isabela ( Continued):
" I grow rows and rows of roses
Flor de mayo
By the mile
I make perfect practiced poses
So much hides behind my smile".
" What could I do if I just grew and I was feeling in the moment".
(Mirabel ):

Isabela looked at Mirabel and Mirabel gave her a wink then out of nowhere popped a orange citrus flower, Next purple lavender and Mirabel's favourite bluebells Isabela then proceeds to spray Mirabel's skirt with a lot of colour causing Mirabel to splash some back at her.
This made all the rest laugh at the two girls having fun and eventually everyone joined in for the fun.
Isabela (Continued):
"What could I do if I just know It didn't need to be perfect it just needed to be and let me be a hurricane of jarrandas".
"Strangling figs hanging vines".
( Mirabel):
"Speak".
Mirabel was struggling to get up a tree but a vine put upside down.
(Mirabel ):
"This is fine".
Isabela (Continued ) :
"Palma de cera fills the air as I climb and I push through
What else can I do, can I deliver us a river of sundew careful it's carnivorous a little just won't do".
" I wanna feel the shiver of something new
I am so sick of pretty I want something true don't you ".
Mirabel grabbed Isabela's hands and said exactly what she said on screen.
Isabela puts a bluebell in her sister's hair as she has a smile on her face
"Well I'd say this is not what we expected ". Héctor whispered
"Hey you know you need get used to seeing the unexpected Amigo perspectives they change but love is forever, And coming from that girl will never be lost". Bruno smiled as he pointed to his Mariposa
"You are right that Mira of yours really has something special ". Héctor smiles
"Amen That something she never looses ". Felix and Augustin added
"We agree". Rosita chuckled with Imelda and Coco

" it just seemed like your life's been a dream from the moment you open your eyes".
Isabela :
"Woah woah how far do these roots go down".
(Mirabel):
"All I know with the blossoms you grow".

"But it's awesome to see how you rise how far can you rise
through the roof to the skies".

Miguel watched the two sisters have fun and seemed to last forever, but most of all seeing a real smile on Mirabel's and watching his sister joining in on the fun too.
"You know your not so bad". Camilo interrupts
"Oh well thanks ". Miguel smiled
"Are you sure you don't want to kill me for getting close to your Prima?" Miguel was cautious
"No you're not like any of the other idiots that claim to love her your a good person Miguel I judged you too quickly I am sorry ". Camilo apologises
"I appreciate it". Miguel smiles
" But I will not hesitate to Kill you if you hurt her understand?" Camilo stood firm
"I understand ". Miguel was a little scared
Isabela (Continued:)
"A hurricane of jacarandas".
(Mirabel ):
"Whoo".
Isabela:
"Strangling figs ".
(Mirabel ):

"Grow".
The girls continued to express their love and fire through play like they were little again and Alma could see how it made them and she smiled.
"Why did I do this, they would never hurt each other ". Alma thought
Pedro put a comforting hand on his wife's shoulder and smiled.
And as if he could read her thoughts he spoke:
"That doesn't matter now all that matters is the future no use dwelling on the past my love". Pedro starts
"Gracias Mi vida". Alma sighed
Isabela (Continued):

The girls kicking colourful pollen off the roof causing Isabella to be stained with it all over her dress but she did not care she loved it every minute of it Mirabel smiled watching her sister Embrace her true self, meanwhile Alma was very intrigued as she watched the girl and these imperfect plants start growing out of nowhere and poor Mariano's nose have been hit twice by Isabella's vine.
(Mirabel ):
"Hey everybody clear the way".
Isabela:
" i'm coming through with the tabooya".
(Mirabel ):
" She's coming through with the tabooya ".
Isabela:
" Making waves changing minds".
(Mirabel):
" you've changed mine".
"That's true". Mirabel laughed
"You've changed mine too". Isabela smiles
"Aww look at Mija's getting along after all this time". Julieta cooed
"Mamá ". They chided
"Que? I am just happy for you two". Julieta laughed
"Well I am happy to have my old sister back". Mirabel smiles
"Me too". Isabela laughed
Isabela (Continued):
" The way is clear because you're here and well I owe this all to you
What else can I do ?"
Isabela then brought her in for a tight hug as Mirabel embraced her just like the vision had said when they finally released Mirabel saw they cracks patch themselves and the candle burning brighter then ever before .
"Not bad Ninas not bad at all". Bruno smiled
"Si, I'd say you did an amazing job". Imelda smirked
"I'd never I thought I'd see the day were my sisters actually got along like they used to". Luisa chuckled
"I second that". Dolores agreed
"Well if there is one thing that's for sure is that it's never too late to try". Miguel smiled
Mirabel (Continued):
"Show them what you can do".
Isabela:
"What else can I do?"
(Mirabel):
"There's Nothing you can't do".
Isabela:

The next scene shows the girls then fall into a bed of flowers for a soft landing as not to get hurt.
Isabela : "You're a bad influence ".
The girls then tossed back laughter at their Antics and smiled as Isabela flicked a flower in her face playfully.
" I stand by my statement ". Isabela laughed
"Hey". Mirabel smiled
"I'm kidding ". Isabela joked
"I know" . Mirabel said as she grabbed a cloth to wipe the pollen off her face.
"Told you you could do it". Miguel replied
"Uh Huh you're lying straight through your teeth ". She smirked
"I am not ". Miguel shook his head
"Si you are". Mirabel nodded
"Okay miss : I know everything". Miguel laughs
"Que?" She tilted her head
"You still got pollen on your face and in your hair". Miguel smiled
"Where here?" She pointed with said cloth
He shook his head and gently grabbed the cloth from her hand and began gently wiping her face gently. He took off her glasses so they wouldn't get dirty and slowly started staring at her in the eyes and he felt his cheeks turn absolutely red along with Mirabel and her cheeks turning just as red.
"I'd say he is smitten wouldn't you?" Enrique smiled
"What?" Enrique coaxed
"Mi Amor you know this already ". Luisa smiled
"Si we are just waiting for him to make a move". Camilo said
"Hold On since when are you on this train didn't you want kill my cousin?" Abel coaxed his head confused
"We had a talk". Camilo replies
"Oh that's good ". Coco said
"No… I mean yes but… we just have to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid". Isabela eyed him
Meanwhile Mirabel and Miguel were done putting each other in a trance and Mirabel had her glasses back on and she smiled.
"G-Gracias for helping". Mirabel stutters
"No problem ". Miguel turned away
"Well we'd better get back to the movie then". Mirabel changes the subject
"Si". Miguel nervously nods
"Mira?" He called
"Yes?" She replied
As she turned her face Miguel could swear his heart was thumping so loud he could hear it in his chest.
"You… have beautiful eyes ". Miguel blushed turning red
"Aww That was very sweet Gracias". Mirabel smiled
They both walked back to their seats and were met with the eyes of everyone.
"What was that?" Héctor asked
"What do you mean". Miguel played dumb
"You know the Whole 'beautiful eyes 'Seriously what was that about Chamaco ". Héctor smirked
"It was just a compliment ". Miguel shook off
"Really Mijo That wasn't a compliment that was a whole fiasco I mean the wiping tears and pollen off her face". Imelda chuckled
"I'd agree with you there Hermana ". Oscar smiled
"Someone's in love ". Felipe finished
"Shut up". He turned red
"Okay, okay enough all of you shoo". Coco waved her hand
"Mijo it's okay to be in love with her I think you and Mira are meant to be". Coco pointed out
Miguel smiled and laughed.
Meanwhile Mirabel and the girls were fussing over the fact that A boy no correction young man called her eyes beautiful.
"Did you see that?" Dolores looked excited
"It was just a compliment Loli that's all". She shook off
"No that's not a compliment that was just pure sweetness ". Luisa sighed
"Okay Okay I admit it was kind of sweet and cute but that's all okay?" Mirabel had a look in her eyes
" What ever you say Mija". Julieta added
Miguel sat by Mirabel and smiled she laughed silently.
The next scene shows their laughter interrupted by a firm and angry voice the sound of their Abuela and the girls got straight up the flowers disappear as Isabela wiped herself off , Alma looked angry and Infuriated.
Abuela Alma : " What is going on!!"
Both families flinched at Alma's tone of voice What was going to happen…
