Note: I've decided to change the rating from T to MA for various reasons. Don't take it as a bad omen, everything is going to be fine - A. Leaf

It's probably been an hour since the human witch left, Amity has been pacing in circles around the jail cell. Every visitor since Willow mentioned her returning home soon. How is that even possible? The portal was a complete anomaly that she was sent to investigate.

The sound of the large door opening and several voices stopped her train of thought. This has to be it. The warden was heard leading a group of three to her cell. Three people she recognized; Hunter, Willow, and Gus. No sign of the happy couple.

"We have some good news; you're going home right now," Gus stated.

"Yippee," she sarcastically said. "Are you sure you're not going to kill me?"

"No, it's fine. We tested it," Willow explained.

The warden unlocked the latch and had his hand on the lever when he asked, "Are you going to make a run for it?"

Amity had to swallow her pride. Being treated like a petty criminal is bad enough, but it didn't matter anyway. Their Amity bested her in a few seconds. She's not a threat to anyone over here. "Where would I go? I want to go home," Amity answered.

Back to where she's one of the strongest witches in the Boiling Isles. She managed not to say that. The trio shared a concerned look. They're still hesitant to open the cell, but it needs to be done. Hunter nodded at the warden who lifted the lever along with the gate and whatever was restricting her magic.

Amity looked at all of the anxious faces, ready for a form of retribution. She threw her hands up and said, "I'm ready."

"Then let's go," Hunter coldly said.

The atmosphere was extremely tense as they made their way out of the dungeon, but it was nothing new for her. "Are we going to do it here and now?" Amity asked.

Willow spoke up to clarify, "We need a big space to open the portal again. It also makes a mess."

The group of five found themselves in a large hall that was redecorated and repainted to remove any sign of Emperor Belos. This timeline actually revolted and formed a new government. There was a list of the different departments next to the double door. One stood out from the rest, Human Relations.

Amity stared at the little rectangular sign. There's no way that a human works for a demon government. Maybe it was just a coincidence and it has nothing to do with her. She checked to if the coast was clear and everyone was looking at the materials to make the portals. In quick few seconds, she disguised the warden as herself and slipped out the door.

The trio was working diligently on the portal since they could see the perpetrator in their peripheral view. When it was time for the last step, Hunter sided-eyed Other Amity and said, "Maybe she shouldn't see this part."

Quietly agreeing, Willow and Gus turned to look at her. She nodded and started to look around the grand hall. "Wait," Gus said in a low baritone voice.

He narrowed his eyes as he approached Other Amity. A quick shoulder pat broke the illusion spell and revealed the confused warden. Panic filled the hall as they realized that there are only four people present.

"Guys, it's only been a minute, she couldn't have gotten far," Willow neutralized the dread. "If we split up, we can cover the most castle. I'll take this hallway. Text when you find her."

"Then, I'll go the other way," Hunter volunteered.

"We can cover this hall," Gus directed the warden the other way.

Willow took off running to the HR department. She was hoping that she wouldn't find Other Amity there, but she was. She was in Luz's office, hovering over her desk, and was too distracted to notice her. Willow sighed heavily and said, "Come on Amity, I don't want to trash my best friend's office. She worked really hard for it."

Other Amity shot to her feet, still a little dazed trying to figure out her next move. Willow didn't need to fight her just restrain her. She slowly approached Amity, making her back away in response. As soon as she was away from Luz's desk. Willow recaptured her using vines. That was easy. Amity didn't have time to make a circle, while Willow didn't need one.

Willow gleefully group-texted Hunter and Gus that she found Other Amity. She directed the vines to slowly walk her back to the hall where the portal was waiting for her. She was outside the double door when she heard soft sobbing. Willow couldn't believe it and she didn't want to ask. She still couldn't help herself. "We're trying to help you return home. Why are you crying?" she asked her.

In a low whimper, Other Amity answered, "I'm never going to see her again."

She means Luz. Of course, she does. Everyone's worse fears are manifesting right in front of her. Everyone also tried to warn Luz that this could happen. "Amity, you only talked to her for fifteen minutes in three days," Willow tried to reason with her.

"Seventeen minutes," Other Amity corrected her.

Willow retorted back, "Less than twenty minutes; you shouldn't have developed feelings that fast."

"I only want to say goodbye," Other Amity whined.

What happened to her stoicism a few minutes ago? She's quivering over a married woman that she doesn't know. The double door slowly opened and to her shock, Luz stepped from behind it. Willow nearly yelled her name; she couldn't say that now.

"What happened? I just came back from lunch everyone is freaking out," Luz said. She smiled as usual.

It was Gus. The real Luz didn't go for lunch. Willow felt relieved but still pretended like she wasn't. "Don't get too close. She's dangerous," Willow replied.

"I won't hurt her!" Other Amity cried out.

She struggled against the vines and tried to wipe her tears. Gus diagnosed as Luz stepped closer to her. Willow couldn't help feeling anxious about this. "What's wrong? Aren't you happy to go back to your friends and family?" Luz carefully asked.

"I – I panicked when I realized that I…" Amity trailed off and stared at Luz's imitation.

Gus gazed back with a sorrowful face. Other Amity was in deep thought when she muttered, "You're not her."

How on Titan did she know that? Gus tried his best not to blow his cover. "What are you talking about?" Luz asked.

"You're not her!" Amity snapped back.

She took a few hard breaths to calm down and plead, "Please. I promise I won't hurt her. Where is she?"

"Gone!" Hunter revealed himself. "Amity took her away before we let you out because we thought something like this could happen."

Leave it to Hunter to tell her the hard truth. Willow couldn't look at her when she dragged Other Amity in front of the reactivated portal. Would this even work? What if Other Amity reactivates the portal herself and comes back? "Amity, I do feel bad for you; I really do," Willow started to say.

Ignoring her friends' protests, she continued to say, "But, she's not your Luz; the best thing you could do is find the Luz in your timeline."

Other Amity repeated back, "Luz? Is that her name? Luz?"

Willow realized what she did; now Luz is in more danger. It was too late to deny it now. She wouldn't forgive herself if the slip-up was used as a way to trick and trap her. Willow felt a firm hand on her shoulder and saw that it was her understanding husband. He gazed up at the unhinged mess and said, "She's right; find Luz in your own timeline, because if you come back here…"

"And what if she's dead," Amity interrupted him.

The sudden response gave everyone a deeply disturbing image. Other Amity explained, "A human never attended Hexiside. I never heard of one in Bonesborough. How do I know that Other Luz survived in the demon realm all this time?"

It was a possibility. A version of Luz couldn't live quietly, there was no way that she wouldn't survive the Boiling Isles. Willow answered, "If she was with Eda, King, or Hooty, she's not dead."

Hunter added in, "Worse case, she's in the human realm."

Amity didn't respond anymore. She just stared at Luz's imitation. Gus mouthed another apology. With a swift motion, she shoved Amity thru the portal.
