A/N: All right, I'm back. No sex this time 'round. Why? Because, I'm the sick fuck who controls when you fap. Or you could switch chapters. I don't control you guys. Or gals, I don't judge. Regardless, I'll try and make this chapter entertaining since it has, ugh, plot. Also, I'mma remove the Pokemon saying their names. Origins showed me that it's better when they just growl and shizz. Enjoy.
I woke up to a blaring sun in my face. Arceus damn it, I should close the curtains. I got up to close them when I saw the clock. 10:36.
"Ah shit!" I scrambled to get my bag and head band. My hair was a mess, but it always is. I checked it before I left the room. Meh, not bad. Still white as snow. I came out to an empty Pokecentre lobby, the nurse at the desk had that shit-eating grin on her face.
"You got a little while yet." she told me, a happy tone in her voice. "About another hour I think." I sighed. I hadn't missed my chance to face off against Brawly.
"So, about last night." Adrianna looked at me.
"What about it?" That look. It scared me.
"Um, nothing. Just, uh, wondering if everything was up to par. E hehe…." I cracked my knuckles nervously. Adrianna chuckled.
"Yes, everything was good. I told you, you were my second time. Nothing to worry about." I sighed.
"Well, I better go. Get some pre-battle training in." I turned to leave. As I hit the door, I turned back and said "Last night was great." Adrianna burst out laughing. But she waved me out with a smile on her face and I made my way to the beach. There, I let out the trio. Magikarp splashed around while Torchic made due to avoid the water. Totodile just let the tides splash up on him, his blind eye impassive.
"All right guys, we've got about an hour before we go against Brawly. He's a fighting type kind of guy so here's the plan:"" I crouched low. "Torchic, I'll save you for last since you can use Peck." Torchic nodded. "Totodile, I'll send you out second. You can take out whichever Pokemon is first." Totodile gave a little growl of approval. "And Magikarp." I looked at the big orange fish. He seemed somewhat angry. Regardless... "I'll send you out first for recon, got it?" splash splash splash. I assumed that meant he approved. "Okay. So, we all set?" nods and splashes. "Awesome. Let's go do a bit of training, nothing major, then off to Brawly."
I took the group to a non-public area and we did light training. Embers, Water guns, splashes, the works. I checked my PokeNav and the time showed that about 45 minutes passed. I gathered the group into their PokeBalls and went to the gym where I met some familiar faces.
"Jerry-poo!" I yelled. The guy turned to me, obviously not happy.
"For the love of Arceus, my name is GERALD!" I smirked.
"Yeah yeah, Jerry-poo. And how's the lovely lady?" Gerald's girl scrunched her nose at me.
"What do you want creep?" I sighed.
"Just want to challenge Brawly. What about you?" Gerald huffed at me.
"Well, for your information, I've got a sure-fire way to beat Brawly." He held up his Wingull Pokeball. A Wingull would be a good choice. especially for Brawly. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the doors to the gym opened and Brawly was at the opposite end.
"Welcome to the Dewford Town Gym, challengers!" Brawly stood proud and ready. Gerald walked forward before me.
"I'm Gerald and I challenge you!" Oh my Arceus, how cliche could you get?
"Whoo! Go Jerry!" Amanda cheered from the side. Brawly had a grin on his face as he spied me. He then pressed a button on the floor. The ceiling started rumbling and opening up, as did the floor. The floor opened up to reveal a massive pool.
"I like to give my Flying and Water opponents a fair chance. So here's an arena to suit both our needs." Gerald suddenly looked very cocky. Brawly must be pretty good to give his opponents an advantage.
"All right. Go Wingull!" Gerald threw out his Wingull. It flew out, chirping and flying around. Brawly grabbed a Pokeball.
"Go, Machop!" a Machop landed on the edge of the pool and flexed its muscles.
"Wingull, Peck!" Wingull charged beak first at Machop. Brawly showed no worries while Gerald looked stiff and concentrated.
"Machop, Bulk up!" Machop stiffened and concentrated. Wingull neared. Machop held its stance. Wingull neared. "Machop, Karate Chop!" Machop swing its arm down in a chop, nailing Wingull on the beak and sending it into the water. Hard. Gerald looked stunned as Wingull floated up, unconscious.
"Wingull, return." Gerald retrieved it and sighed. Amanda came over and gave Gerald a hug.
"You're still a winner in my book Jerry." Gerald sighed again and smiled.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. Let's go." and they walked to the side. I walked up.
"Well Brendan, it's been a little bit. You ready for the decisive battle?" I nodded, hefting Magikarps ball.
"I just hope you don't go easy on me." Brawly smirked.
"Be prepared." I hucked Magikarps ball.
"Go Magikarp!" and the big orange fish appeared in the pool, swimming around. Machop didn't look too impressed. "Magikarp, use tackle!" Magikarp swum a bit before launching himself at Machop.
"Machop, use Hi-Kick!" Machop aimed high and kicked Magikarp back into the air, where he then fell back into the pool. Oddly enough, he just seemed angrier. However, I didn't want him to be hurt too bad.
"Magikarp, return!" I pulled him out and threw another ball. "Go Torchic!" Torchic chirped and tweeted at Machop, showing he was alpha male. "Use peck!" Torchic ran along the other side of the pool at Machop.
"Machop, use Low Sweep!" Machop ran at Torchic, crouching before he kicked.
"Torchic, now!" Torchic jumped up as Machop swung his leg around. Before Machop knew what was happening, Torchic's beak rammed into his torso at dangerous velocity, leaving a nasty bruise. Machop staggered a bit. "Use Ember!" Torchic blew little flame pellets at Machop, making him flail around to get rid of them. "Finish him!" Torchic ran at Machop again, nailing him in the face with his beak. Machop fell down and Torchic stood victorious. Suddenly, a screen opened on the wall. It showed my face and Brawly's along with our Pokemon. Then it shifted to show Machop and Torchic, each with a life bar of sorts. Machop's was drained. "That, uh, that wasn't at Roxannes gym." Brawly laughed at my confusion.
"My apologies. I forget to use that sometimes. Roxanne does too. But regardless, here we are now." Brawly showed another Pokeball. "Go Meditite!" out of the ball came a floaty little white guy. I checked the Pokedex. It continually meditates for hours every day. As a result of rigorous and dedicated yoga training, it has tempered its spiritual power so much it can fly. Well then.
"All right, Torchic, use Ember!" Torchic spewed the fire pellets at Meditite.
"Meditite, use Light Screen!" Meditite put its arms out and a circle of light appeared in front of it. The ember simply fizzled out as it hit. Damn. I guess I'll have to get physical.
"Torchic, use Peck!"
"Meditite, use Focus Punch!" Meditite concentrated, its fist began glowing. Torchic was making a beeline for the little floating guy. However, it wasn't fast enough. Meditite suddenly looked at Torchic and punched, sending the poor guy flying straight into the pool.
"Torchic!" I returned him to the Pokeball as fast as I could. I pulled out my other used Pokeball. "Go Magikarp!" Magikarp came out of the ball in mid air, and tried Tackling the Meditite.
"Meditite, Reflect!" Meditite created a rectangular barrier in front of it. Magikarp bounced off harmlessly into the pool where he began swimming in very mad looking circles. What's his deal, attacking without orders?
"Magikarp! Obey me, don't attack unless I say so." Magikarp just kept swimming in circles. Bleh. "Return!" Magikarp came back and I threw out my better Water type. "Go Totodile!" Totodile appeared in front of me, making little roars at Meditite. By now, I had a plan. "Use Water Gun!" Totodile shot water at Meditite, who countered with Light Screen. Perfect. Totodile kept firing while Brawly shouted encouragement.
"You can do it Meditite, just a bit more." hehe, now.
"Go underwater." Totodile jumped into the water. Brawly stopped talking. Totodile's a Water Pokemon, but he can move around on land and in water equally well. "Now, Water Gun!" Several streams of water shot at Meditite.
"Use Light Screen!" Meditite followed orders, exactly as planned.
"Now, Headbutt!" Totodile shot out of the water, passing through Meditite's Light Screen and hitting him hard, sending him to the floor. As he tried to get up, Totodile charged. "Use bite!" Totodile opened up his big mouth and bit Meditite. He shook him around before tossing him away. Brawly looked a bit stressed.
"Meditite, return!" Brawly took out his last Pokeball. "I hope you've been having fun, because now it's serious." Oh no. "Go Makuhita!" Makuhita appeared in front of Totodile. Shit, he was too close! "Makuhita use Arm Thrust!" Makuhita hit Totodile with his elbow with immense strength. Totodile flew back, but got on his feet.
"Use Headbutt!" Totodile charged head first.
"Reversal!" Makuhita grabbed Totodile as he neared him, spun him around, and tossed him back at me. Totodile landed in front of me, unconscious.
"Return!" I brought out my last Pokeball. Arceus damn it. "Go Magikarp!" Magikarp appeared in the pool. He still looked mad, even more so now, but he just… floated there. "Magikarp!" I was getting fed up now. My last Pokemon, and it was this disobedient fish.
"Makuhita, use Vital Throw!" Makuhita dove into the water towards Magikarp, who still floated there.
"Magkiarp, move!" nothing. "I said move!" Still nothing. "Move damn it!" this time, Magikarp swished his tail at me. GrrrrrrrAH! "MOVE YOU STUPID ORANGE FISH!" then it happened. Magikarp glowed a deathly blue and white. As he did, he sank to the bottom of the pool making it like a giant light. Then the glow died down and all was silent. For about 3 seconds. Then the ground shook and a giant blue serpent burst from the water, showering everyone and sending Makuhita back onto solid ground. I looked up. This wasn't Magikarp. He now had a tri-poitned blue crest on his head, menacing eyes, and what looked like a giant-
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" mouth. I pulled my Pokedex.
Gyarados. It is an extremely vicious and violent Pokémon. When humans begin to fight, it will appear and burn everything to the ground with intensely hot flames. Well then. I looked back up. Magikarp had become this!? Gyarados looked at me out of the corner of his eye.
"Um, hey, Gyarados. Sorry about those-"
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" "... comments." I swallowed nervously. "Are you mad?" Gyarados glared at me. I couldn't tell what it meant.
"So, should we just win this one battle?" Gyarados continued to glare at me before turning to Makuhita, who was getting up. All right, back in business.
"Well now, this is certainly a challenge." Brawly commented. I looked over to Jerry and his girl. They both looked stunned. I turned back to Brawly.
"All right. Gyarados, use-" I checked my Pokedex. What did Gyarados use…. aha! "Use Dragon Rage!" Gyarados opened his mouth and a purple fire began appearing, growing into a ball.
"Makuhita!" Brawly was desperate. "Use-" too late. Gyarados fired, the blast hitting Makuhita hard enough to send him into the wall behind Brawly. And leave a small crater. The screen to the side showed Makuhita's life bar down to 0. Brawly stared. Then it hit me. I won. I won! Gyarados roared in victory. Jerry and Amanda still looked shocked as all hell. Brawly walked over finally and handed me a badge.
"This here is the Knuckle badge. It's yours for the taking." I took it and put the shiny badge into my case. Brawly extended a hand and I shook it. "You did good. Admittedly, your handling of Magikarp could've been better, but…." he looked at the sea serpent staring at him. "I think he'll be fine. Oh, and a gift." he held out a tiny diskette. "That there is TM08. It contains Bulk Up. Use it with a fighting Pokemon some time." I took the diskette.
"Thanks Brawly. Good match. Now then." I held out my Pokeball and I returned Gyarados. "I think it's time for a good healing and some R&R on the way to the next city. Which city is that anyway?" Brawly smiled.
"Slateport. However, there isn't a gym there. But there is a good outdoor market to get some organic items." Brawly checked his watch. "Anyway, I better be off. See you around." and he left. I exited the gym shortly after while Jerry and his girlfriend walked off to the beach in silence. I guess I'm just that awesome. I decided that, with time to kill, I'd walk along the beach. I kneeled and rummaged through my bag for a snack when I saw a package. I pulled it out and saw the-oh shit! It was the package the Devon President wanted me to deliver. I checked the note on it and it said that the guy, Steven, would be in Dewford town until tomorrow and that I should check local caves.
"I wonder…" The locals mentioned Granite Cave on the North side of the island. Perhaps he was there. I grabbed my bag up and I walked around the town, asking around. Not many knew about the cave. I encountered some screwy kid talking about the hip new thing. He asked me what it might be and I just said "Fucking Pokemon". Whether the "fucking" was literal or as an adjective, I'd leave to him. However, I had someone to find.
I finally found a hiker who was visiting. He pointed out to me where to find Granite Cave. I thanked him and went to the Pokemon Centre.
"So, who was the victor?" Adriana asked. I simply held up the Knuckle badge in response. She let out a low whistle. "All right, what do you need?" I handed her Torchic and Totodile's PokeBalls.
"I need them healed. I'm heading to Granite Cave. But since I have a new Pokemon on my belt, I can come back for them." Adriana took the spheres and placed them in the waiting tray.
"All right, be back in about a couple hours, should have 'em all healed up." I nodded my thanks and walked off. I followed the beach and made the left turn to find a large cave opening. I walked up to it and simply stared. This Steven guy was in here?
"Hello?" I yelled, my voice echoing. Then I heard a noise.
A/N: Well, there you have it. Gyarados is born and Brendan is on the next leg of his Dewford Town stay. Trust me, He's leaving soon. Don't worry. And remember, I'm trying to make things stretch out so it's not, "Bredan visits town, then this city, then this route, battle, sex, etc." trying to write a legit adventure with sex. Anyway, enjoy.
