The door to the SSS building was opened, and a pink-haired figure entered the room. Lloyd glanced at the waving Juna and gestured for her to sit down.

"Hello, Lloyd, Elie. And..." Juna's eye turned towards the green-haired child that was with them. She then looked at Lloyd in the eyes before she sighed. "Really? Even I did not expect this, you know."

"Ahaha..."

"When you said you want the Bracer Guild's help, do you mean..." Elie grasped his train of thought, but Lloyd shook his head.

"Not really. I just want a second opinion from Juna," Lloyd answered. "Oh yeah, Juna, this is KeA. She's a child we found at the Schwarze Auction, exactly as you predicted. We'll go into details later. KeA, this big sister here is Juna. She's going to help us trace your origin."

"You say that as if I have the answer to every question," Juna interjected with a laugh. "But I'll do my best to help. Hello, KeA!"

"Hello, Juna," the green-haired girl replied, waving shyly.

"Oh my, you're so cute! Lloyd, don't go to the Guild when Aeolia is there! She's gonna glomp KeA to death!" Juna suddenly grabbed Lloyd's shoulder.

"...She's not that bad, is she?" Lloyd asked with some trepidation.

"She's that bad when it comes to cute things. You won't believe some near-death experiences I had when I first hung out at the Guild are because Aeolia almost crushed me to death."

Lloyd, Elie, and KeA looked at Juna in skepticism. It couldn't be that bad, could it?

Juna laughed sheepishly, scratching her head. "Okay, I might be exaggerating things, but Aeolia is that taken with anything cute that I'm sure she's going to do anything to keep KeA hers."

That admission prompted KeA to tug at Lloyd's clothes. "Lloyd?"

"Don't worry, KeA. We'll protect you. Now, Juna. Let's talk," Lloyd poured a coffee into his cup. "You did say you don't know how or why you arrived at a certain conclusion, but you are sure that we'll be able to infiltrate the auction and find something there. Once again, Juna, you're correct."

After that, Lloyd and Elie explained what happened at the Schwarze Auction one week ago. From the unexpected invitation given by Renne, their infiltration, the meeting with an eccentric Erebonian agent Lechter Arundel, the unexpected encounter with Wazy, the Testament gang leader who helped them, the attack on the Revache goons by the Calvardian assassin Yin, who pointed out that the SSS would find something interesting, the meeting with KeA, and finally the escape from Mishelam.

As Lloyd finished telling the story, he saw that Juna had paid full attention to all of his words.

"So, Juna. Anything you can glean about KeA from that?"

Juna sighed. "Nothing sticks out. Well, the Erebonian agent is suspicious, but I don't think he has anything to do with KeA and her origin. As is Yin and Heiyue."

Lloyd also exhaled at Juna's answer. Figured that it would be too easy if Juna could deduce where KeA came from with just their story. "I see."

"But investigating the Erebonian agent might lead to something else. You want me to investigate him?"

Lloyd shook his head. "No. You are still a fourteen years old girl, Juna. It's best if you do not entangle yourself with the politics, especially since you're aspiring to be a Bracer who swore neutrality in that particular aspect."

"Understood," Juna said with a nod.

"Aside from that, KeA also has amnesia, so we're going to try to recover her memories. Maybe from that, we can get her clear origin," Elie said.

That got Juna to think. "Hmmm... amnesia... but..."

Lloyd and Elie looked at each other. The amnesia was what triggered Juna's ability. What did that mean?

"Okay. I think you need to know this. About KeA's amnesia... going to the hospital wouldn't do anything, I'm very sure of this. However, as time goes on, her memories would recover when the time is right."

"When the time is right?" Elie echoed Juna's statement as a question. "When would it be?"

"I take it you don't know the specific," Lloyd exhaled, having predicted Juna's answer. "How exactly did you know this? No, I know it's you connecting the dots to something else, but what part of the story we told you made you arrive at this conclusion?"

She didn't react to KeA's mysterious origin. She only connected the dots when it was revealed that KeA had amnesia. Lloyd honestly didn't see what connected amnesia with the memories coming back at the right moment.

Juna blinked. "Oh... you sure you want to know?"

"I mean, if you can explain..." Lloyd shrugged. It wouldn't hurt anyone if Juna revealed it, right?

"Right. So you found KeA under mysterious circumstances, right? And it turns out that she has an amnesia? Well... if you combine the two points of mysterious circumstances and amnesia, the answer is that the memories will come back exactly when the time is right."

...

That was... Lloyd looked at her with a confused expression.

Even after she explained it... Lloyd still didn't understand. But still, "Thank you for the explanation, Juna. I still don't understand how those two elements combined resulted in that. But I'll be keeping notes."

Juna nodded. "Yeah... without the context of my 'something else,' it wouldn't make sense for anyone. Oh, but don't take this as a sign that you shouldn't put your effort into recovering her memories. Maybe if you try hard enough, you can recover them earlier than my gut feelings? I don't know. I'm not a seer!"

She finished with a laugh.

"Right. We'll still do our best for KeA's sake," Elie nodded at Juna's advice. "Well, shall we go, Lloyd?"

Lloyd shook his head. As much as he wanted to... there was something he wanted to ask Juna privately.

"You can go on ahead to the Guild. I think I still have some things to talk about with Juna."

Elie looked at him with concern before she inevitably nodded and grabbed KeA's hand. "Come, KeA."

"Okay!"

Once the two were out, Juna and Lloyd continued their talk.

"You're really amazing, Juna. Your prediction came true in a way that really caught us by surprise," Lloyd started. "This time too, thank you for telling us your prediction about KeA. Even if she couldn't recover her memories immediately, I think it provides us with relief when you say that it'll come back 'when the time is right.'"

"Oh come on, you know me. No need for thanks just for something like that," Juna bashfully replied.

"It's not just 'just' for us. You really helped us prepare in advance and prevented us from getting caught off-guard by what happened in the auction."

His mind went back to the event last week.

When Yin pointed out something that they'd find interesting, Lloyd already had an inclination about what he'd get. He was still caught off-guard by finding a living being instead of an item but because he knew he'd find something, Lloyd recovered quickly and safely brought KeA out. And then there was the fight with Garcia Rossi after that. Randy reluctantly did something that surprised all of them. But then again, he shouldn't be surprised, right? Juna had personally told him that the SSS past will come up to the surface, after all.

Juna was really amazing, wasn't she? She wasn't even there, but she predicted everything perfectly.

Though, speaking of what happened at the auction...

"Juna. I have something else to say. Back then, at the auction, I heard a voice calling out to me. 'Find me,' the voice said. The weird thing is that nobody else heard it. Not even Randy or Mariabell who is with me at the time. Later on, when Wazy helped us, I heard the voice again, but he also couldn't hear it. Do you know something about it?" Lloyd asked. This wasn't something that he had even told the other SSS member. It's not that he didn't trust them. On the contrary, he trusted them, and they trusted him. But because of that, if Lloyd told them about the voice, they'd believe it without a second thought even if they didn't hear it. That's not what he wanted from them. In this one case, he wanted to be questioned. After all, he might have misheard.

Juna immediately groaned and covered her face with her palm. What?

"What's wrong, Juna?"

"That voice. Is it KeA's?" She asked him with a serious voice.

Huh? KeA's voice... come to think of it, that voice was similar- no, he shook his head. There was no denying that it was KeA's voice, no matter what his mind conjured.

Lloyd sighed. What did he get into this time?

"Yes," he admitted to Juna. "Do you have some insight about that?"

"Do I?" This time it was Juna's turn to sigh. "I need more information before I can form the complete picture, but... guard her with everything you have, Lloyd. I have no doubt that she's important for Crossbell... or potentially the world."

She was that important? "Can you explain?"

Juna shook her head. "As I said before, I don't have the complete picture. Once I have it, I'll share it with you, Lloyd. Don't worry. Just... protect her, please."

"You don't need to worry about KeA, Juna. The SSS will definitely protect her," Lloyd answered Juna's request with a smile.

"Yes. I have faith in you and the SSS. Speaking of, I forgot to say this, but maybe keep an eye on Wazy? In the future, I'm sure he will be an important figure for the SSS."

Lloyd raised his eyebrow. Wazy? Sure, it was unexpected to see him at the auction and helping them, but an important figure? "I'll keep that in mind, Juna. Thanks."

"No worries!" She stood up. "I think it's time for me to go. Shizuku is waiting for me. Can you believe that Arios hadn't visited her for a week? A week! And when he was supposed to do it today, he was held up by a request!"

"Right," Lloyd also stood up. "I think KeA and Elie are also waiting for me."

"Maybe you can visit Shizuku later. I'm going to accompany her for the day," Juna offered. "KeA and Shizuku are around the same age, right?"

"Probably."

The two then left the building and went on their separate ways. Lloyd to the Guild, while Juna to the Hospital.

A/N: Juna said the SSS past will come up referring to Tio and suddenly Randy's past comes up! Juna is really amazing, isn't she? Rereading this from the JesSIca thread, Lloyd misattributing Juna's deduction will never not be funny to me. Juna also finally tried to explain how she worked her deduction and as expected, Lloyd couldn't understand it. He took notes, though. So the next time Lloyd find someone with a mysterious origin and an amnesia, he'd be ready. By the end of CS4 Lloyd's notes will be full of tropes and he'd become the best detective in Zemuria.
