The nineteen year old Billy Batson was throwing the ball onto the wall, which bounced back and forth every time he threw the ball again and again.
"Hey! Can you stop doing that? It's annoying." Cyborg asked, annoyed with the sound.
"Sorry…." Billy said as he stopped bouncing the ball.
"I get that you're bored and all, but please find something else to do that doesn't annoy me"
"Chill, Cyborg, the sounds ain't gonna kill you" Damian Wayne said, who just came back.
"When did you come back?" Billy asked, knowing that he escaped thanks to the League of Assassins a year ago.
"Let's just say that a wise man convinced me to go back here after the League was taking things too far," He answered while referring to the revived Alfred Pennyworth.
'Well, at least he got back to prison' Billy said to himself before Damian got his attention.
"Hey, Billy, can I ask you a question?"
"Yeah, sure. What is it?"
"D-Did you really see Dick Grayson in the afterlife?"
"Um, y-yeah, I did. Why, though?"
"D-Did he say anything about me?"
Billy looked down at first, thinking of what he should say before looking back up, "He said that you're a good kid, j-just misguided and he hopes that you would go back to the light. He also said that you would always be his best friend."
"T-Thanks, Billy…. I-I needed to hear that…."
"N-No problem"
Billy then went back to sleep while Damian looked down in regret. He always regretted the accidental fatal blow he did on the late Nightwing. He truly didn't mean to kill him. He wasn't even trying to kill him. However, it doesn't seem that to Batman and Starfire, even when he revived Alfred.
"Perhaps I should revive Grayson too?" He asked himself quietly, before shaking his head, "No way! I-I can't do that! I mean, I can, but… What if it turned him into a different person like it did to Ra's al Ghul and Jason Todd? He would rest in peace rather than become a killer…."
"Well, you're not wrong" A voice said, surprising and scaring Damian.
"Woah! Who said that?!" The former Robin asked, getting to his fighting pose, "Show yourself!"
"I'm right behind you."
Damian turned around and saw the spirit of someone he never thought he'd see again, "G-Grayson?"
"The one and only."
"I-I can't believe it's you!" Damian exclaimed, "I haven't seen you in years!"
"Well, I'm dead, that's one reason why," Dick chuckled a bit before taking it back when he saw Damian's sad face, "Sorry. You know I didn't mean it like that."
"I-I know, but I still deserved that…" He admits, since he was the one who killed him, even though it purely was an accident, "So, what are you doing here?"
"Well, I wanted to see you… And to warn you."
"Warn me? Warn me about what?"
"A lot of things are gonna be thrown down in another year, so you and Cyborg better be prepared."
"Be prepared for what? What's gonna happen?"
"I can't tell you more because of the rules of the gods and the undead. All I can say is good luck…." Grayson then placed his ghostly hand onto his brother's shoulder, "And please, try not to kill anyone."
"Hmmm…. Alright, I try to do things your way." Damian said.
Grayson smiled, floated up and disappeared.
(The Afterlife)
Deadwing reappeared in the afterlife and saw his other brother, Tim Drake, aka Red Robin.
"This sucks…." Tim complained, "I just got out of the Phantom Zone and boom, my life gets taken away from me!"
"Don't worry, Tim, we might head into action sooner or later…" Dick assured him.
"And how do you know that?"
"Because a lot of things might go down sooner than you think."
(Underground)
The Assassins were carrying three coffins that held three deceased people in each coffin.
"Is that all of them?" The woman asked.
"Yes, Lady Shiva," The servant said, "We collected all the coffins of the fallen while the others were busy in their fight.
"Excellent, you served me well" Lady Shiva replied before looking at the two who came walking to her. One of them was wearing a red hood while the other was wearing a batgirl suit.
"Mother, are you sure this is a good idea?" The woman asked.
"Don't worry, Cassandra, this plan is foolproof," Lady Shiva assured her daughter, "If the Pit could revive Ra and your friend, Red Hood, here, we could revive the other fallen."
"Alright, but why aren't we doing it now?" Red Hood asked.
"The people up there will have the fight of their lives. We must start our mission at another time…"
