HEY EVERYONE! HAPPY DECEMBER! Sorry for the long disappearance, been working outside of Fanfiction but I'm back! I hope you guys are ready for some fun! Christmas will be up soon, and it's gonna be lit! I've also been playing Disney's Dreamlight Valley and I can't wait for the update! Speaking of which, I might be planning on writing a story about HFIL but for Disney Villains once I'm finished with my stories. Until I'm finished with my stories, the story request will still be closed.
Anyways, let's get to the story!
At Stryker's Island, in Lex Luthor's Prisons for Meta-Humans, five men and two women walk down through the cells. One is dressed as the Blue Beetle, though his face is visible. He is known as Jaime Reyes. The others are wearing casual clothes. Two young-adult African-Americans, two young-adult White Americans, a young-adult with bright orange skin and an elderly Caucasian. They're known as Jason Rusch, Wally West, Freddy Freeman, Mary Bromfield, Princess Koriand'r/Kory Anders and Professor Martin Stein.
"I can't believe that we're stuck here!" Freddy complained.
"Tell me about it," Wally agreed as well, "Seriously, a lot of things are happening out there!"
"For real, guys. Batman does not think we're important," Jason starts, "Aliens are invading and we're on guard duty?!"
"Guarding Superman and his cronies!" Jaime reminds him while they were walking through Robin and Cyborg who were still in their cells.
"They already have guards!" Freddy reminds him, considering that there are guards around the place.
"Exactly! We're guarding guards! We're redundant!"
That was when Mary, Koriand'r and Stein got in their way. They didn't like what their teammates were saying.
"Friends, we must stay calm," Koriand'r says.
"Yeah, we're protecting the guards while we're helping them guard Superman's friends." Mary agrees.
"We need to take a step back, boys," Stein replies in agreement, "Take in the bigger picture"
"I'd rather be in here than out there," Jaime said while looking down at his suit, "This suit's an alien war machine," He then turns around to look at his friends, "You two have powers of the gods, you're another alien from a different planet, you have the speed force, and you guys' Firestorm Matrix? All of us could take on Brainiac and then - BOOM! - accidentally blow up the world."
"I must agree with friend Jaime," Kory said, "I did fought Trigon and won, but even I had to resort my friends' help to defeat him"
"And the Speed Force can be a bit tricky," Wally comments, remembering his first time becoming a speedster during the Savitar incident, "I'm still a bit rusty ever since Savitar and leaving Team Flash."
"Remember Freddy, we may have beaten Sivanna, the Daughters of Atlas, Mister Mind and Black Adam, but we're still trying to control and perfect our powers" Mary reminds her brother.
"They're right," Stein agrees while putting his hand onto Jason's right shoulder, "We haven't mastered our powers yet, either."
Both Freddy and Jason were really upset since the two boys couldn't believe that their teammates were saying things like this.
"Come on, you guys!" Freddy complains, "We should be out there, helping Batman fight against this 'Brainiac' dude!"
"Exactly!" Jason agrees, "Listen to yourselves, guys! We're bad-asses! And bad-assess belong on the front lines."
"This is the front lines," Professor Stein corrects them, "Brainiac running amok is a crisis… Brainiac and Superman BOTH? That's an apocalypse."
"Okay, you guys have a point…" Freddy admits.
"So we're the only thing between a crisis and an apocalypse?" Jaime asked in shock.
"Hm. I can get behind that…" Jason said with a confident smile.
"So can I" Wally said with a smile as well.
Suddenly, the room starts to shake. Loud noises outside the building disturbs their conversation. They get alerted of an external danger. The building violently shakes. All the alarms start ringing of a deliberate intrusion. Building keeps shaking more violently. Damian goes to the front of the cell, wanting out. Blue Beetle puts on his mask. Clark...just paces around his cell.
"Brainiac?" Blue Beetle asked, guessing in suspicion.
"Or the Superman fan club?" Jason was the next to ask.
"Either way, I suggest we fuse." Stein suggested.
Jason and the Professor grip each others' wrists and the Firestorm Matrix spreads through them. After a blinding light, Firestorm, the Nuclear Man, appears. He then looks at his friends and smiles, signaling them to get ready.
Wally West spins around super fast and appears in his Kid Flash outfit in the blink of an eye.
Freddy and Mary looked at each other before they said the magic word…. "SHAZAM!" The lighting bolts struck both of them, transforming them into grown-ups with gold-like powers - Shazam Jr./Captain Marvel Jr. and Mary Marvel.
Kory's body starts to glow green until her normal business clothes burn off, revealing her normal princess/heroine look.
After everyone got themselves ready, Firestorm said two words… "Game On!"
...
There's a hole created in the building by someone. All the security guards are knocked down. As guessed, Superman's Fan club members hold placards saying: FREE SUPERMAN!. They show it to two hovering humans, who turn out to be Wonder Woman and Black Adam. They caused the hole in the building and are the intruders. Outside the prison, civilians have rallied, telling them to free Superman to save them from Brainiac, with Wonder Woman and Black Adam flying through the hole made and being cheered on.
...
Back at Superman's cell, Blue Beetle is scanning the cell for defects. The heroes
"How is it, Blue Beetle?" Mary Marvel asked.
He drops to the ground as the scan is complete, "Red Sun's cell secure. Must be the Power Center."
"The Power Center!" Firestorm exclaims, "If it goes down, those generators shut off."
"And Superman gets out and the Regime takes over again!" Captain Marvel Jr adds, pointing at Superman.
The heroes then ran towards the Power Center, leaving the depowered Superman behind. His eyes glow pure red.
Meanwhile...
The lasers over the Meta-Human cell of Damian Wayne go off. Damian looks up and feels like someone's trying to break open the top of the cell.
"Am I….. Dreaming?" He asked himself.
That was when a big suitcase dropped down from the sky and straight down on the floor, causing Damian to look once more, seeing Supergirl freeing him.
Down at the Power Center, Blackfire and Black Adam approach the massive generator powering the prison. They approach a part of the rotating generator and zaps with electricity and fire power. Just then, the Teen Titans arrive.
"I should've known my sister would join them…." Starfire expresses her disgust.
"Alright, what's the game plan, guys?" Kid Flash asked.
"Okay, here's the plan," Firestorm starts, "One team takes on Fire and Adam. The other team re-starts the generators before Superman gets loose."
Both Blackfire and Black Adam overheard them and the two had smirks on their faces.
"A good, yet fragile plan…." Blackfire replies, turning around along with her 'partner'.
"It seems all of you will die here!" Black Adam declares.
The young heroes were warming themselves up. That was when Blue Beetle, Marvel Jr and Starfire walked towards Blackfire and Black Adam.
"Guess we're on the front lines now," Blue Beetle said, with Firestorm wishing him luck before leaving with Kid Flash and Mary Marvel.
"I'll deal with my sister…." Starfire said with dread, glaring at her sister before turning back towards her friends, "You two handle Black Adam."
"You got it, Star," Blue Beetle and Shazam Jr. both said at the same time.
The two rival sisters then flew into the air, leaving the deciding battle between the heroes and the dark villain.
*If Blue Beetle is Chosen….*
Shazam Jr tries to strike Black Adam with lightning but the former champion deflect the attack and countered with a stronger lightning bolt, striking him down, only leaving Blue Beetle left standing.
"Looks like I better lay down the fort…." Blue Beetle told himself before glaring at Black Adam.
"You're a naive boy with too much power," Black Adam declares before letting an dark smirk come across his face, "Much like the traitorous Billy Batson"
Blue Beetle VS Black Adam
Conjuring up Shazam's real name puts backbone in Blue Beetle's attacks. Billy may had joined the regime but he at least had good intentions and didn't killed anyone (hero, villain or civilian) unlike the others. Anyways, Jamie may very WELL have "too much power", but he uses it to overwhelm and defeat Black Adam.

Firestorm lands next to Blue Beetle as the generator starts up again. Shazam Jr then got up and walked up to them. The other heroes then joined in as well.
...
*If Shazam Jr. is Chosen….*
Blue Beetle tries to land a hit on Black Adam but the former champion shocks him with too much lightning and quickly sends him to the ground.
"Now you messed up, Adam…." Junior declares in anger before powering himself up.
"You're just as foolish as your brother Billy Batson," Black Adam mocks him before letting out a dark smirk across his face, "At least, he knows his limits and chooses when to fight or not…."
Shazam Jr. VS Black Adam
Sometimes, he wouldn't mind being compared to his best friend/adopted brother. However, considering that he's being treated like sidekick-material by the former champion, Marvel Jr knows that he has to show Black Adam that he's no sidekick nor pushover!
The hero starts attacking Black Adam with a few hits and combos before the former champion blocked a few moves from the hero and grabbed him by the shirt. Adam then shocks Captain Marvel Jr and throws him into the ground.
Captain Marvel Jr quickly got up and tried to attack him, but Black Adam countered his move and struck him down with a 15-hit combo. After bringing him to the ground, Black Adam then taunts him, "You're not worthy!"
The hero-in-training then got up and struck him with lightning. He then quickly brought him down with a 14-hit combo and then did an uppercut on him. After that, he compliments himself, "Heh, I'm awesome!"
However, the villain got up once more and the two continued to fight each other. There were some ups and downs, throws and strikes but eventually, Shazam Jr was able to take down Black Adam.
Shazam Jr Wins!
"Looks like I chose the fight wisely after all…." Shazam Jr told the defeated/knocked out Black Adam.
...
Blue Beetle then gets up and joins him as the generator is operating again. Firestorm, Kid Flash, Mary Marvel and Starfire joined in as well.
"My sister has been dealt with," Starfire assures her friends.
"And Black Adam's down for the count." Shazam Jr replies with a smirk.
"Then let's circle back," Firestorm advises, "Lock down Superman's cell."
"And end this nightmare," Mary Marvel adds.
"My old man's standards sure have dropped…." Someone said, causing the six heroes to look up. He jumped from the sky and landed on the ground, revealing to be Damian Wayne, aka, Nightwing (Or Regime Nightwing).
"They have indeed, Damian," Another voice replies, who also revealed herself to be Lady Arkham after revealing herself upon jumping down and landing on the ground, "And these so-called heroes are foolish enough to follow him!"
"You newbs are so desperate to impress Batman," Damian comments, "Why? He's weak!"
"If your papa's weak, what's that make you?" Blue Beetle questions him.
Damian only chuckles, "I take after my mother."
*If Firestorm is chosen….*
"Professor Stein wants to teach Oedipus here to respect his orders"
The heroes smiled at him before leaving him and Kid Flash to fight against Nightwing and Lady Arkham. Firestorm releases fire, cleverly shielded by Nightwing while Kid Flash rams and engages on Lady Arkham. Nightwing then ran through the fire and kicked the hero's chest. Luckily, Firestorm held his ground and walked up to Damian Wayne.
"Bet you were one of those students who thought he was smarter than the teacher."
"Thought I was smarter, hot head?" Damian questions him while spinning his staff and getting into his fighting stance, "No…. I know I am."
Firestorm vs Nightwing
Nightwing may have had Batman's training, but him thinking he can stop a man who can MAKE elements appear out of thin air is a serious weakness of his. He lands a few good blows, but Firestorm inevitably puts him down for good.
Firestorm Wins!
"Class dismissed." Firestorm declares before leaving to join the heroes. Kid Flash later runs and follows him after defeating Lady Arkham.
...
*If Kid Flash is chosen…*
"I'll teach these assholes a lesson," Kid Flash declares, prompting the others to let him do his thing and leave the area. Wally then quickly knocked out Lady Arkham in one punch then started running around Damian. He then stops and throws a lighting bolt at him, but Damian dodges, "You don't deserve that suit, Damian! Not after what you did!"
"Grayson gave this suit to me! And I'm honoring him!" Damian declares in anger before getting ready to fight him.
Kid Flash vs. Nightwing.
Wally didn't believe the words coming out of Damian's mouth so he decided to knock him out once and for all.
Wally started striking down Damian with fast punches and kicks, giving him some damage. However, Damian trips him with his staff and starts spinning it around, striking and hitting the speedster. Damian then gives him quite a headache by spinning the staff at Kid Flash's direction, giving him quite the 14-hit combo.
After that, Damian taunts him while spinning and twirling his staff, "That traitor was faster than that"
Hearing Barry Allen's name in a harsh way made Wally very pissed off. He and The Flash may be at odds for now, but even he didn't treat him badly like Iris and the Regime did. Kid Flash quickly got and gave Damian a huge lightning bolt strike, as well as a 16-hit combo, which was combined with fast punches, kicks and speed running.
Damian Wayne may have studied all the Teen Titans' skills back when he used to be a part of the team long ago, but that doesn't stop him from getting his ass kicked. It was a tough fight, eventually, Kid Flash took the night out of the wing.
Kid Flash Wins!
"You failed to honor Grayson the day you killed him!" Kid Flash retorts in anger before leaving the area to join his team.
At Superman's cell, the newly-released Cyborg is working on the computer at the dome. He's operating on the unlock system, trying to hack it and release Superman from the prison
"Wonder Woman's outside, keeping what's left of the guards busy" Cyborg told the imprisoned Superman.
If it wasn't her, who broke you out?" Superman asked, really wanting to know.
"I did," Supergirl answered, heading towards him.
"Kara?!" Clark gasps as he sees Supergirl flying down to the dome.
Kara walks towards him and is worried seeing him imprisoned, The two Kryptonians look at each other through the glass of the dome. As the cousins stare at each other, the Teen Titans sneak up to just before the cell room.
"Another Kryptonian?!" Kid Flash exclaims.
Blue Beetle also had an 'uh oh' look on his face, and Mary Marvel took notice of it.
"What's wrong, Jaime?" She asked.
"I-I might've…. Met the kryptonian girl before…" He confessed.
"What?!" Shazam Jr asked in shock.
"When?!" Kid Flash exclaimed.
"Back in Space four years ago after the Regime fell…."
"You recognize me, Kal?" Kara asked in happiness and shock.
"My parents stored your image on my ship," He explained, "You're my protector"
"Sorry I'm a few decades late. You and I left Krypton at the same time, but the explosion threw my ship off-course. WAY off-course."
"You haven't aged a day" Clark comments.
"Hyper-sleep," She explains, "While you were growing up, I was on ice."
"I never thought I'd see family again! Someone with my eyes...my own blood. You knew my parents…" Clark expresses in sentimental detail.
"They loved you so much, Kal…." Kara assured him, who looked down in some remorse. Before she could question herself why, another shockwave shakes the room, "Diana needs a hand. Cyborg, how long?"
"Give me five more minutes, then it's "lights out"." Cyborg tells him.
The building starts shaking even more, which worries the young woman, "I don't wanna leave you," Kara told her imprisoned cousin.
"I'll be here," Clark assured her.
Supergirl nods, then flies off to help Wonder Woman...going RIGHT past the Teen Titans.
"Ella está sobre tu nivel…"
"She's not out of our league!" Kid Flash told Blue Beetle.
"Yeah, dude, what happened to your confidence?" Shazam Jr. asked him.
"Krptonians happened!" Blue Beetle told them.
"Friend Jamie, you must remain calm." Starfire tells him.
"Come on, guys," Firestorm reminds his friends, "Batman's counting on us!"
Back in the main room….
"Gotta hand it to Palmer. His people's cryptography is legit," Cyborg admits, "Doesn't mean I won't break it."
Superman then saw someone coming behind his comrade, "Victor, behind you!"
Blue Beetle flies in and Cyborg ducks a punch. Cyborg then blasts the hero with his arm cannon, bringing him to the floor. Blue Beetle tried to get up but passed out at the last second.
Kid Flash then starts running around the half-man/half-machine dude, while the two shazam siblings shock them, giving Kid Flash energy and giving Cyborg quite the shock. However, Cyborg smirked and caused a shockwave, sending the three heroes to the ground and caused them to be unconscious.
Firestorm walked up to his fallen/knocked out comrades before flying into the air.
"What's your melting point, Cyborg?"
Firestorm blasts nuclear beams at Cyborg, but the former Teen Titan puts up an energy shield and deflects the energy back at Firestorm, making him fall next to the knocked out Blue Beetle.
Starfire then decided to try to her former comrade, who was still shocked to see her, "Cyborg, please… Stand down…."
"S-Starfire? Y-You're alive?" Cyborg asked, surprised to see her.
The computer then shows that the power in the red sun cell is going down...and, in a matter of minutes, Clark will be able to leave.
"The power of the Red-Sun Generators!" Starfire exclaims before looking at Firestorm who was still down.
"We need to reactivate that console before Superman powers up…" Firestorm adds before getting up and walking next to Starfire.
Cyborg then walks up towards his opponents, his former teen titan friend and the nuclear man, "Amateur hour's over, rookies" He replies with a smirk.
*If Firestorm is Chosen….*
"I want Cyborg…." Firestorm declares with a dangerous smirk.
Starfire understood and flew away from the fight to work on the console while Firestorm and Cyborg were circling each other around the area.
"I was a fan when you were QB for the Ford Titans. You had a cannon arm, even then," Firestorm replies, telling Cyborg his admiration for him back when he was a Ford High Titan football player and then a member of the Teen Titans, "Never thought I'd be your prison guard."
"QB? That was a long time ago…." Cyborg told him before getting angry, "And I'm not your prisoner anymore!"
Firestorm vs Cyborg
Both smart, both using science...sounds like an even match. Cyborg has experience, though. Even Firestorm recognizes that and alters his attack patterns. By a hair, Firestorm manages to shut Cyborg down.
Firestorm Wins!
"Nobody's cheering for you now." Firestorm declares before turning around, seeing his friends getting up.
...
Meanwhile, Starfire reboots the generators; the red sunlight bathes Clark again.
*If Starfire is Chosen….*
"Let me handle this…." Starfire told Firestorm, who quickly, yet calmly understood and flew off to work on the console. She and Cyborg then started circling each other.
"S-Starfire, i-is that really you?" the half-machine dude questioned, "You died…. Along with the rest of the Titans…."
"You didn't know?" Starfire asked in confusion.
"Y-You can't be here… You shouldn't be here… Superman told me you were dead, along with the rest of the titans, except for me and Raven," Cyborg explained while looking at the imprisoned Superman who was looking away out of anger.
"Superman lied to you," Starfire confirms, "He mortally injured Superboy and trapped us all in the Phantom Zone, where we were for years, until Batman freed us"
"No… No… No, that can't be true! Superman would never do something like that! This must be a trick! You must be a hologram or something!"
"I assure you, Victor, this is no trick. I really am Starfire"
Starfire vs Cyborg
Cyborg was still conflicted; he in his mind wanted to believe this was her, but his loyalty to the Regime prevented him from accepting this. He attacked Starfire, hoping that it would reveal her as a hologram or something like that.
Starfire could see that Superman truly had done it this time! First, he seriously injured Superboy, trapped her, along with her friends, in the Phantom Zone, and now turned Cyborg (and Raven) into one of his soldiers by telling them that she was dead! The Worst part is, Raven left the Regime and is with the Society!
Ever since she got out of the Phantom Zone, she wanted to make both Damian Wayne and Superman pay for everything they did. But for now, she had to convince Cyborg to stand down, even if it meant shutting him down.
It was a tough fight, considering that they both know each other's moves throughout the years as Teen Titans and former comrades. However, Starfire's loyalty to her friends beats Cyborg's devotion to the Regime.
Starfire Wins!
"I-It really is you, K-Kory….Ugh…" Cyborg responded with a weak smile before passing out onto the floor, defeated for now.
"I'm sorry, Victor…." Starfire apologized to her former friend, "But Superman is the true enemy, not me nor Batman…" She then turned around to see the other heroes getting up.
...
Meanwhile, Firestorm reboots the generators; the red sunlight bathes Clark again.
"Brainiac's too much for Batman! I'm your only chance!" Clark said desperately, trying to convince the Teen Titans to let him be free.
The heroes looked at each other before Firestorm walked up to him, "Here's the thing, Superman. Batman asked us for help. He didn't draft us, make us sign a loyalty oath, or threaten us with jail….!"
"Or threaten us with the death penalty!" Mary Marvel replies in anger, still a bit pissed off of what Superman did to her brother previously. He might be alive now, but he still has laser marks on his forehead.
"He won't go far enough. That's why he'll fail!" Clark declares.
Firestorm thinks of this...but then hears something coming. That "Something" is Supergirl. She grabs Firestorm from behind and drags him away from the cell.
"Stay away from him!" Supergirl told him in anger.
Blue Beetle runs to help, but he's caught by Wonder Woman's lasso and pulled back.
Kid Flash, Starfire and Shazam Jr were also about to help Blue Beetle, but they were attacked by Blackfire and two other individuals - Jinx and Terra. It would seem that she was able to break them out of their cells and convince them to join the Regime.
Firestorm is thrown away from the cell by Supergirl, though she doesn't use anywhere near her full strength.
Mary Marvel then shocks Supergirl from behind.
"Ack!" Supergirl grunted before Mary Marvel punched her in the face, "Ah!"
Firestorm then stood up, "A Kryptonian, huh? The professor knows how to deal with you" His arms start to glow green, meaning that Professor Stein within Firestorm activates the formula of Kryptonite, which weakens Supergirl.
"...U-Uh-h…...K-Kryptonite…Argh….." the female kryptonian struggled, "You're-HNGH-just as bad-GAH!-as Wonder Woman and Black Adam said…"
"Surrender, and this stops" the nuclear man tells her, willing to stop it, or at the very least, lower it down, if she stops resisting.
However, Supergirl, ticked off by Firestorm using some kind of kryptonite on her, as well as using the loyalty and devotion of her cousin and family, stood up and glared at the nuclear man in anger, "Kryptonians...don't...surrender!" She gets to her feet and lays haymakers on Firestorm, knocking him out, stopping the arms from radiating Kryptonite and making the knocked-out Firestorm drop onto the floor.
"Firestorm!" Mary Marvel yelled in concern. She starts to fly towards her, but Wonder Woman throws Blue Beetle in her direction, knocking both of them down towards the floor. The two heroes then got up.
"We're freeing Kal-El…" Supergirl declares, "Like it or not."
*If Blue Beetle is Chosen….*
"Let's switch partners!" Blue Beetle suggests, which Mary Marvel agreed.
Wonder Woman takes the initiative and tackles Firestorm over the railing and into the bowels of the prison, leaving Blue Beetle with Supergirl.
"We NEED Kal's help, kid!" She told him, "You have NO idea what Brainiac can do!"
"No," He admits, "But I know what SUPERMAN can do!"
Blue Beetle vs Supergirl
Both are young and impetuous and have crazy alien powers. The Kryptonian shower Supergirl took puts her power on par with Blue Beetle. But Beetle has more heart and commitment than Supergirl has. It's close, but Supergirl is brought low.
Blue Beetle Wins!
"Guess YOU belong here, too."
...
The other heroes joined with Blue Beetle after defeating their opponents. Mary Marvel then flew out from the bottom of the prison and joined them.
"Wonder Woman is trapped under 10 ft of steel… She won't bother us for awhile" She assured them.
*If Mary Marvel is Chosen*
"That kryptonian is mine!" She declared in anger. Blue Beetle was a bit worried but decided not to push his luck and charged at Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman tackles Beetle and they go over the side railing and down into the bowels of the prison, leaving Mary Marvel with Supergirl.
"We need his help, girl!" Supergirl told her.
"There's no way in hell I'm letting you get to him!" Mary declares in anger, "Not after what he did to my brother!" She then threw a lightning bolt at the female kryptonian, who was luckily enough to dodge it.
"I don't know what Kal did to your brother, but Black Adam told me that you, your brother and your family are delinquents who are immature and hurt innocent children just for your personal mischief and gain! Whatever Kal did to your brother, he must've deserved it."
Mary's eyes started to glow pure white… "You… Take…. That…. BACK!"
Mary Marvel vs. Supergirl
Mary Marvel was now powered up with lots of magic and lightning energy. This woman was going to pay for what she said, and she was gonna make sure of it!
Supergirl was quite shocked by this kid's attitude. It seems that Black Adam was correct about the Shazam family being a bunch of angered and vengeful young adults. She started to question herself why they were like this until she got attacked by Mary's lightning strike. She groaned a bit due to her weakness of magic, the other weakness of kryptonians.
Both had powers, both were women, and both were not holding back at all! However, Mary Marvel, fueled with anger and vengeance, sent Supergirl to the ground. After knocking Supergirl out cold, she glared at Superman.
Mary Marvel Wins!
"That was for Billy, Superman!" She shouted at him before joining her friends. She then looks at Blue Beetle, "Where's Wonder Woman?"
"Old cold," Blue Beetle told her, "We won't be seeing her for a while."
"Good."
Firestorm then smiles, "Should've surrendered!"
"Sis, you took down a kryptonian!" Shazam Jr chuckles.
...
Wonder Woman quickly recovers, jumps out of the bottom of the prison and appears in front of them.
"You fought valiantly…," She admits while Supergirl helps out Cyborg. Black Adam, Lady Arkham, Blackfire, Jinx, Terra and Nightwing arrive at the scene as well, "but this battle's over"
"Any ideas, guys?" Kid Flash asked, "I'm all for it, even a bad one!"
That was when a green bullet came out of nowhere and hit Supergirl's arm, "ACK!"
"KARA!" The imprisoned Superman screams in concern and in anger.
Black Adam was able to heal her wound but then he glared at his enemies in front of his team, "Who dares strike a child?!"
Before anyone could say anything, a voice from above caused them to look up, "That would be me…" The individual then jumped down from the roof and landed onto the ground, "Jason Todd…. AKA… The Red Hood!"
Starfire was shocked to see him like this, "J-Jason?"
Red Hood turned around to look at her, "Hey Star…" He then glares at Damian Wayne, "Been awhile, Damian…."
"It sure has…." Damian replies before mocking him, "You're with Batman now?"
"Not Exactly" Red Hood smirked before two more individuals appeared, revealing to be Dick Grayson/Nightwing and Tim Drake/Red Robin.
"Dick Grayson?! Tim Drake?!" Blackfire, Damian and Cyborg ask in shock.
"M-My… My beloved…?" Starfire asked, "I-Is that really you?"
"The one and only, Star," Dick Grayson smiled at her before looking back at Cyborg and Damian, "Hey guys…"
"D-Dick? Tim?" Cyborg asked as well, "I-Is that really you guys?"
"Y-You two are alive?" Damian asked too.
Black Adam then huffs, "No matter how many weaklings you have at your disposal, all of you are still weak against a god!"
The regime members were getting closer to the Teen Titans.
That was when Firestorm was talking to himself, "You want me to do what? Professor, that's crazy! Maybe we can control it, but–" He pauses, as if Jason agrees to what Professor wants him to do, "You're right. No other option. Get outta here, Titans!"
Everyone watches as Firestorm claps his hands together and produces a MASSIVE nuclear fireball.
"F-Friend Firestorm, what are you doing?!" Starfire asked in fear.
"I'm getting flashbacks here!" Red Robin replies in agreement.
"Jesucristo, Jason! You're gonna nuke us?!" Blue Beetle asked in shock.
"It's the only way… Now GO!" Firestorm then looks at Wonder Woman who signals her teammates to stop, "Leave, ALL of you! Or you'll get a helluva lot worse than a sunburn!"
"You'd blow up Metropolis rather than let Superman go?!" Wonder Woman asked in shock as she couldn't believe that this hot-head would risk everybody's lives just to keep them away from Superman.
The intensity of the nuke increases. It's just about to be triggered.
"I'd save the Earth…."
Wonder Woman was pissed! She readies her sword and goes to attack Firestorm with her…. when a Batarang knocks it out of her hand.
"Firestorm, stand down!" Batman told him, who does so as he lands in front of the nuclear man and the teen titans. He then looks back at them, seeing Dick Grayson, Jason Todd and Tim Drake with them. He gently nods at them, signaling that he'll talk to them later. He then walks past his former allies. He then starts walking towards the imprisoned Clark Kent when he was stopped by Supergirl, who he was completely unaware of, "Who are you?"
"Superman's overprotective cousin," Kara told him right in his face, Damian chuckling a bit.
The Dark Knight was stunned a bit, when his disowned son got his attention.
"You keep so many secrets, but you can't stand it when one's kept from you. Can you?" He asked in a mocking fashion with Supergirl smiling before she frowns a bit when she looks at Batman again.
Batman ignores them and walks towards the console, entering the decryption code in the unlock system.
"You can't beat Brainiac, Bruce!" Wonder Woman told him.
"You're right, Diana…. I can't" He admits before completing his biometric in the unlock system, which shuts down the red sun generators.
To everyone's shock, Batman releases Superman (or Clark Kent) from the Red Sun prison. Superman is delighted and feels his powers after so long.
"What the–?" Blue Beetle asked in shock, and he wasn't the only one.
"What the hell?!" Red Hood adds with understandable anger in his tone.
Superman then walks up to the one who finally set him free, "You're ready to stop Brainiac by any means necessary?"
"By the means at hand," Batman corrects him.
"What's your game?" Superman asked in suspicion, "You're always three moves ahead"
"Saving the world is enough for now."
"I am NEVER going back in that cell"
"We'll cross that bridge later. Right now, the world needs us…"
Clark looks back at his comrades...and his cousin, who agrees with Batman. They may not trust Batman...not completely...but they agree that saving the world from Brainiac is priority one. Batman and Superman then stare at each other, trying to guess what the other person is thinking.
Brainiac's Ship
Brainiac looks at the worlds he had invaded upon. He was also talking to a small green figure.
"And you're saying the Earth's so-called "Magic" can be found?" He asked.
"Yes, my friend…." The green worm replies, "I know all kinds of magic… Normal magic, light magic, dark magic…."
"And how is that possible for a creature like you?"
"I ate books from the Library of the Eternity inside the Rock of Eternity"
"An admirable feat for a lowlife such as yourself."
"Oh, I'm no lowlife…. I'm Mr. Mind, one of the smartest beings in the universe…. And I can help you get what you want…."
"Hmmmm…. And what do you want in return?"
"I only want one thing, a path to the rock of Eternity, and help to kill the Mage and his champion once and for all"
Brainiac nods at the proposal, signaling Mr. Mind to leave. The alien mastermind turns around to see Grodd walking towards him.
"You summoned me, Brainiac?" the gorilla asked while bowing down to him.
"There've been surprising developments," Brianiac tells him, "Kal-El is free. But more remarkably, he is not the last Kryptonian. There is another refugee."
"Two Kryptonians?!"
"Continue as planned. Kal-El is not yet at full strength," He said before stopping Grodd, who was just about to leave, "But, remember-the Kryptonians belong to me!"
Grodd starts to wonder if he's on the wrong side of the battle.
AND THAT WAS THE TEEN TITAN'S LEVEL! Yep, Dick Grayson and Tim Drake returns from the dead and are ready for action! With them alive, Damian may have second thoughts about the Regime hopefully, same for Cyborg now that he sees Starfire who's alive and well!

We're almost half-way done of the Injustice 2 Story Mode! In the next chapter, the meeting scene will still happen but that's also where Shazam and Supergirl meet. I normally don't do love triangles ever since CW The Flash ruined it (I really liked Patty Spivot, and I don't the ending for Season 9...), but i'll make an exception for this story. So people, who's gonna win? Shazam x Harley Quinn or Shazam x Supergirl?
