AN: Hey all, so here is the chapter, I hope you all enjoy it. It's been a while though hasn't it, for that I apologise. It seems I have been spending most of my free time that I set aside for writing, on writing my stories on my Greed720 account, so apologise for that.
With that in mind I am going to dust off my notes for my Seagate stores and start looking at my neglected stories on this account, and hopefully get out a few more updates. Though first I am going to need to prioritise my stories I want to update based on interest from readers and my own interest.
Still, I hope you all enjoy the chapter and leave a review.
Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson or Fairy Tail.

(Last Time)
"I'm sorry Natsu, but you do not pass." Gildarts continued solemnly. "You did not necessarily have to defeat me to pass. But what you did need to show however is that you have the qualities required of an S-Class. And, I'm afraid I found you lacking in that regard. You need to work on using strategy, not just power and instincts. You need more experience, both fighting those more powerful than you, and those more skilled."
Natsu stayed silent as he heard that, still hunched over on the ground before the imposing Gildarts.
He had failed.

Chapter 25
( - )
(On Tenrou Island)
Jogging into the Fairy Tail Guild's makeshift camp a half an hour after their fight had begun, the distinctly battered looking team of, Lucy and Cana, finally arrived. The blonde haired mage, and the brunette, looking both tired and exhausted as, upon seeing the others present, they collapsed limply to the ground, side by side, at the perimeter of the camp.
"Whew, we made it!" Lucy gasped out feebly, her golden blonde hair splayed messily all over her face as she rolled over and just lay limply on the warm, grassy ground beneath her, the sun shining down upon her curvaceous, sweaty, dirty streaked form.
Cana, however managed to push herself up, her dark eyes scanning the camp and taking note of the other people present, both her fellow S-Class candidates and Fair Tail's existing S-Class mages.
Mirajane, now wearing a casual pair of short shorts and baggy T-shirt, was currently standing at a makeshift stove a gentle smile on her face as she looked up from brewing a pot of tea and waved at the pair of newcomers. Her pleasant expression not changing for a moment at their bedraggled appearances or at the fact that they had collapsed into the camp, as opposed to walking into it like rational or sane people.
Erza Knightwalker was sitting down a few metres away, hiding away from the hot sun as she instead sheltered under the shade of a nearby tent, her long legs crossed beneath her, and her spear in hand as she checked it over for any damage.
At Cana and Lucy's arrival her dark eyes had flicked up to observe them for a moment, before with a slight grunt of acknowledgement she had gone back to doing what she had previously been doing. Her interest in them fading after just a momentary glance.
As for Erza's partner, Mest, he was sat just off to one side of Erza, a sulky expression on his face and his torso and arms enshrouded in bandages as he seemingly isolated himself from the rest of the mages in the camp.
The last Fairy Tail member present, their Guild Master, Makarov, meanwhile approached the duo the moment they arrived, a kindly smile on his aged face as he did so.
"Cana, Lucy!" Makarov called out warmly. "Congratulations on passing the first portion of the exam. From what I heard, your fight with Levy and Gajeel was a hard one!"
"You're telling me!" Lucy groaned, finally pushing herself up and into a sitting position. The blonde's usually flawless skin noticeably riddled in cuts, scrapes and bruises, courtesy of Gajeel's, Iron Dragon Slayer magic.
Even now she couldn't quite understand how the two of them had eked a victory out over the team of Levy and Gajeel.
"Wait, how did you know we won?" Cana asked, unsteadily pushing herself up to her feet now, wobbling a little bit as she did so, only for her to be suddenly steadied by a strong pair of arms from behind.
"Since no one chose my path, I was the one who ended up observing your fight against Gajeel and Levy." Erza Scarlet said with a smile, the beautiful, crimson haired woman stepping around Cana now, still supporting her a little as she helped Cana limp over to a nearby chair.
Erza, Cana noted, as she sank into a deckchair, had certainly dressed for the weather. The red head was currently wearing a skimpy black bikini, and a pair of flip-flops, and only that.
It was a far cry from her usual blouse, skirt and plate armour combination. Then again considering the blazing sunshine and the humidity on the island, Cana honestly wasn't surprised she had chosen to do away with her usual getup.
"You both did very well by the way." Erza nodded, leaving Cana now as she instead helped Lucy up and over to the chair next to her partner. "I was honestly surprised, I didn't think the two of you would be able to overcome Gajeel's power."
"Thanks for the vote of confidence." Cana replied dryly, though she did send Mira a slight smile when the whitehaired wizard came over and gave her and Lucy a cold drink.
"Hn, at least you two passed." Erza Knightwalker grunted from a few feet away, the other Erza not even looking up from her spear, even as her Earthland twin came over and sat next to them. Both 'Erza's' looking scarily similar, even if Scarlet was the more provocatively dressed one for a change. Knightwalker was still dressed as scandalously as she usually did, but was still covering up more of her flesh than her twin currently was.
"You lost?" Scarlet asked, a hint of amusement in her voice as she then turned and smiled at Mira, and muttered her thanks as she accepted a cold drink of her own
"I didn't, no." Knightwalker scowled, her brow knitting together as she turned and glowered at Mira.
"You weren't the one being tested, just because you fought me to a draw didn't mean your team passed." Mira smiled, pouring some tea into a cup for Master Makarov as she did so, even as the diminutive old man sat down in his own deckchair a slight smirk on his face as he watched the proceeding conversation develop. "Mest was the S-Class candidate, and since he didn't show enough to pass the test, you both failed."
"Hn," Knightwalker grunted, her mouth a thin line as she looked away. "A loss by default then."
"Which is still a loss," Scarlet tagged on primly.
"You want to fight?" Knightwalker growled, making to stand up.
"Well I don't want to be the only one to have not done anything today, so why not." Scarlet shot back fiercely, a long, think silver sword forming in her hand in a flash of golden light, both identical redheads sending one another the exact same fierce and exited smiles as they made to get up.
Before they could however they were distracted by Lucy letting loose a groan. "Can you please not?"
"Yes, settle down you two." Makarov nodded a few moments later, "The two of you can fight as much as you want to, after the exam."
"Yes Master," Scarlet nodded dutifully, instantly back down, though she did still send Knightwalker a sideways look, as if to say 'we'll finish this later'.
"Fine, whatever. It's too hot anyway." Knightwalker grumbled, sinking back into her seat too, her excitement fading away. "By the way, where are the two you fought?"
"I'm not really sure," Cana shrugged, "After we won, Gajeel stormed off into the forest somewhere, and Levy ran after him."
"I'm sure he just needs to blow off some steam," Makarov sighed, waving away any concern over their disappearances. "The island is not that big, and the two of them are more than competent. I'm sure once Gajeel has cooled down a little, they'll be back."
"Maybe," Lucy muttered, before shrugging when the others looked at her. "But he did seem really pissed off."
"I don't think he is quite used to losing," Scarlet said, her lips curving upwards into a smile as she did so. "This will be a good learning experience for him. Nobody, no matter how powerful, is unbeatable, and no matter how strong you get, there will always be someone out their stronger than you."
"Yes, just look at Scarlet and I," Knightwalker tagged on, a smirk on her own face now. "Scarlet thought she was strong one, and then she met me."
Scarlet scowled at that for a moment, before smiling. "And now I know I am the strong one!"
"Urgh, can you two stop bickering for just a few minutes!" Cana groaned, rolling her eyes at the identical redheads shenanigans, before she then turned to Mira. "Is there any booze around?"
"Yes, but you're not having any!" Mira replied, still smiling as she saw Cana scowl. "Trust me, this is just the first stage of the trials, you don't want to be drunk for the next stage!"
"Hn, fine," Cana rolled her eyes, looking away from Mira now, only for her gaze to fall on the battered and bruised figures of Loke and Gray as the two of them unsteadily stumbled through the forest and into the camp. Percy, noticeably unscathed, walking behind them his hands on the back of his head and a grin on his face as he did so.
"Gray!" Lucy called out, a smile on her face now. "How did you do?"
"I don't know why you bothered to ask, the chances of that pervert beating Perseus is none existent." Knightwalker spoke up bluntly, not even bothering to keep her voice down, even as Mira and Erza Scarlet, Percy's old students, grimaced. Not voicing their agreement with Knightwalker's words, despite their expression visibly saying that they did.
Before anyone could say anything more though, Gray took them all by surprise as he suddenly grinned and then fist pumped the air. "First test complete!"
"Wait what!" Knightwalker snapped.
"Well done!" Lucy cheered.
"I'm not sure how you pulled it off Gray, but congratulations." Scarlet nodded, a smile on her face.
"Oh my, who would have thought you'd be able to beat, Perseus." Mira sighed, one of her hands resting demurely on the side of her face as she looked between the two battered and exhausted wizards, and the unperturbed, smiling Ace. It didn't look like the two had come out the victors of a fight.
Gray and Loki shuffled awkwardly at these reactions, both of them glancing back at Percy for a moment as they did so, before they then looked back at the rest of their Guild mates shiftily.
"Yeah, well we didn't technically beat him…" Loke began, scratching the back of his head uncomfortably.
"No, what Loke means is that we passed, it's just we didn't pass in the way you might think." Gray tagged on, his many bruises and injuries coming into sharper relief as the trio joined up with the rest of the group in the centre of camp.
"Wait, so if you didn't beat him, then how did you pass?" Lucy spoke up, asking the question many of the others were thinking, her gaze on the grinning Percy now.
"They impressed me, and Gray showed me that he had what it takes to be an S-Class wizard." Percy shrugged easily, dodging around the injured duo and taking a seat for himself as he did so, his bright smile widening as Mira brought a cup of tea over to him. "You didn't necessarily have to beat the examiners, just impress them enough to pass, or show them that you had what it takes to become an S-Class mage."
"Well that sounds like a bit of a cop out." Knightwalker grumbled, her cheeks going a little pink as she looked away from Percy.
"What's her problem? " Percy muttered to Scarlet, even as the Earthland Erza dragged her seat over to his, so that they were sitting side by side.
"She lost," Scarlet smirked, her smirk widening when she caught the sharp look Knightwalker sent her.
"I didn't lose, Mest did." Knightwalker huffed.
"And since Mest is your partner, that means you lost too." Scarlet shot back, her smile softening for a moment as she looked over at the dark haired mage in question. "Not that I'm having a go at you Mest, I am sure if you had a better partner you would have triumphed."
"Right, that's it!" Knightwalker shouted, standing up her spear in hand. Her sudden shout quieting all the other conversation in the camp as Lucy, Gray, Cana and Lucy looked up from their own conversation, and Makarov and Mira looked up from theirs. Amused smiles soon lighting up all of their faces as the two redheads surged to their feet, one wielding a sword and the other a spear, as they then attempted to fight, only for Percy to be caught up in the middle of them.
It made for quite the amusing sight, especially with the taller, broad shouldered man having to physically restrain both of the identical redheads at the same time, whilst also keeping them apart.
"A little help here…" Percy grunted, as he felt both redheads push their voluptuous bodies up against his as they tried to get at one another, both of their faces red. Though whether this was from either; anger, exertion or embarrassment, Percy didn't know.
"No, you look like you're doing fine." Makarov grinned, his dark eyes twinkling as he let loose a little giggle.
"Yeah, you have it handled." Cana nodded, a pink faced Lucy nodding along behind her, even as Loke and Gray tried to supress their amusement at the situation Fairy Tail's Ace had gotten himself into.
As this continued, the group of four went back to conversing, the two remaining potential S-Class wizards and their partners all picking up on the fact that one of their number was missing, the last of the those undergoing the trial, Natsu.
"What do you reckon happened to him? Going off of whose here, Natsu must have come up against Gildarts," Loke mused, looking over at the other three as he did so, his expression solemn at the thought of the Dragon Slayer and his feline partner facing off against one of Fairy Tail's most powerful and formidably mages.
"I'm not sure. But if Gray can get passed Percy, then surely Natsu should be able to get passed Gildarts." Lucy muttered.
"Hey what's that supposed to mean?!" Gray demanded.
"It means you got lucky," Cana replied bluntly, much to Gray's chagrin. "If you'd run into Erza or Mira, then neither of them would have let you pass unless you beat them. You only won against Perseus because he held back, a lot. Gildarts though, I don't think Gildarts knows how to hold back."
"Yeah, and Natsu only has Happy helping him." Loke nodded, cutting Gray off before he could retort to Cana. "It took both Gray and I working together to even stand a chance against Perseus, and even then we only landed one solid hit. Natsu though is pretty much facing off against Gildarts alone."
"So you think he failed then?" Lucy asked softly, worrying her bottom lip at the thought of the pink haired Dragon Slayer failing.
"Well if he has, then that would just make the road ahead much smoother." Loke observed, before he glanced over at Cana. "No offence, Cana."
Cana sent Loke a nasty look in response, before she could reply though, Gray spoke up.
"Don't be stupid, Loke." Gray said bluntly. "You think the path to becoming an S-Class mage would ever be smooth? Gramps is a complete sadist, he would make sure thing didn't become too easy!"
"Oh, don't say that!" Lucy shouted, wincing at the thought of what their devilish Guild Master had probably come up with for the second trial.
"Hey look, it's Gildarts and Natsu!" Cana shouted, looking over Gray's shoulder now and pointing over at the broad shouldered, scruffy looking, cloaked wizard as he forged his way through the foliage, and the forlorn looking Dragon Slayer and flying blue cat that followed after him.
"Natsu doesn't look happy." Lucy muttered.
"I'm guessing he failed." Gray said softly, the Ice Wizard, much to the surprise of the others, not immediately mocking his rival, as he instead kept his silence and watched as the trio entered the camp.
"Gildarts!" Percy said loudly, breaking away from the two Erza's, or rather escaping from them, distracting them as he did so, even as he then walked over to greet his friend. "How did it go?"
"Natsu tried hard, he really did put in the effort. But I'm afraid this just wasn't his year." Gildarts replied, scratching his chin awkwardly as Natsu strode passed them, Happy floating along behind him. "I kind of feel bad about failing him, he's just been so down ever since."
"You shouldn't feel bad," Scarlet said bluntly, approaching the two of them, her twin following after her. "It is character building."
"Yeah, that Natsu kid doesn't seem like the type to give up, not like his Edolas counterpart, that Natsu was a spineless coward if ever there was one." Knightwalker tagged on.
"Really, I can't imagine any version of Natsu, however different, being a coward?" Scarlet replied, looking interested now.
"Ha, well I've got some stories for you then. Trust me all the wizards you know here, back in my home world they were the complete opposite!" Knightwalker laughed.
"Oh, do tell!" Scarlet smiled, interest gleaming in her eyes, even as Mira approached the two of them a look of interest on the elder Strauss siblings face too. The three of them soon migrating away from the quietly talking Gildarts and Percy and instead over to the deckchairs.
Seeing all of this, Makarov crossed his arms and smiled, his bushy moustache twitching as he saw the different generations of the Fairy Tail Guild talking and having fun. With Natsu noticeably cheering up as his fellow young mages surrounded him, even as Gildarts and Percy migrated over to where Mira, Erza Scarlet and Erza Knightwalker was sat talking.
In fact the only one not talking or interacting with his fellow mages was Mest Gryder.
Glancing over in the direction of the tall, thin, dark haired man, Makarov eyes narrowed slightly. His lips curling up into a slight smile, even as he saw the scarred young man stand up and, whilst the majority of the group were distracted, slipping away into the surrounding foliage. The younger man not noticing Makarov's gaze on him as he did so.
"Interesting." Makarov muttered to himself softly.

(Sometime Later)
"Right, now listen up you brats!" Makarov began a few minutes later. All those present now assembled quietly in front of him as he stood on top a chair, in order to give himself additional height, his proud gaze surveying all those before him. "Only two teams have officially passed the first test! Which means only you two pairs will proceed to the second test."
Natsu looked down at the ground at this, refusing to make eye contact, even as Gray, Cana, Loke and Lucy all celebrated.
Knightwalker meanwhile looked around curiously for her partner, Mest, but only for a moment before she shrugged and listened in as Makarov continued to speak.
"Oi, listen up you damned brats!" Makarov shouted out, stamping his foot on the chair as he called for silence. "The second test is as follows, you two pairs will explore the island and find the grave of Fairy Tail's first Guild Master, Mavis Vermillion. I will be waiting there for you!"
"Wait, that's it? We just need to find a grave?" Gray called out.
"Just listen, and I'm sure he'll explain it all." Lucy shot back, nudging the partially naked teen in the ribs with her elbow.
"Lucy's right, there is more to it than that. The island is a treacherous place for the unaware, if you're not careful, then you may very easily find yourself lost. On top of that you'll have a time limit of six hours in which to find me and the grave, if you don't find the grave by then, well, then you fail!" Makarov continued. "The first team to make it there wins."
"So we have six hours to find the grave," Lucy muttered, looking over at Cana as she did so. "I'm guessing this stage is less about fighting and more about planning and strategic thinking!"
Cana didn't' reply, instead the brunette continued to stare expectantly at Makarov.
"I will warn you now though. There are many magical beasts and constructs that roam the island. These creatures aren't necessarily dangerous or deadly, but you should still exercise caution when dealing with them." Makarov warned, before he gestured over at the S-Class mages. "Perseus, Ezra Scarlet and Gildarts will all be patrolling the island. They will not actively seek you out, but if they do come across you, then they may challenge you. If they defeat you, then you will also lose!"
"Wait, so we have to explore the island all while avoiding those three monsters!" Lucy cried out.
Hearing the Master's words, Cana clenched her hand into a fist and cursed, even as Gray and Loke shared a nervous glance.
"Hey wait, old man!" Knightwalker suddenly spoke up, before Makarov could continue. "I want in on this too!"
"Show some respect!" Scarlet hissed at her Edolas twin.
"Bite me!" Knightwalker shot back.
Smiling slightly, Makarov raised his hand and continued speaking. "Ok, why not. Erza Knightwalker and Natsu," Natsu looked up as he heard his name called, "will also join the other three in patrolling the island. Remember though none of them will be actively seeking you out, but if they come across you, then expect a fight and be prepared to run. If they defeat you then you're out and have to return to camp."
All four wizards grimaced as the difficulty of the upcoming test was just doubled, several of them sending the unconcerned Knightwalker the stink eye.
Master Makarov truly was a sadist at times.
Natsu however seemed to perk up at the prospect of being able to still take part in the trials, or at least in one way or another.
"Alright, that sounds pretty fun!" Natsu grinned, his dark eyes flicking eagerly over to the group of four that were still in the running.
Lucy gulped at the expression on the battel maniac's face.
Gray however raised his hand. "Hey Master, what about Mira, Mest, Gajeel and Levy?"
"Mira will remain at the camp, so if you run into trouble come back to camp and she'll be here. As for the other three, well they're out, and since they're not here they won't be taking part in the second task. That's also why Mira will be staying back, so she can pass on what's happening to them as and when they arrive." Makarov nodded.
"Well, at least we don't have to worry about, Mira." Cana sighed, a hint of relief colouring her voice.
"Ok so that's it, any questions?" Makarov asked, looking around at the group. When none of them replied, he nodded his head. "Then in that case the second task has now begun."
. . .
"Wait, you mean right now?" Lucy asked into the silence that followed Makarov's words, looking around at the others as she did so. When she turned back to the Master however, it was only to see an empty chair, and the little old man nowhere in sight.
"I think you should take that as a yes," Loke nodded dumbly.
"Wait, then doesn't that mean…" Lucy muttered, her gaze shifting from Loke now and instead over to Percy, Knightwalker, Scarlet, Natsu and Gildarts.
"We'll give you a five minutes head start, just to be fair." Percy smiled, reaching out and taking a long, thin, double edged, silver sword off of Erza as he did so. The red head then re-quipping another identical sword into her hand, even as the two of them eyed Lucy, Loke, Gray and Cana up in amusement.
"Lucy come on!" Cana said instantly, grabbing the blonde's hand as she did so, before without another word she then ran off into the surrounding foliage.
Gray and Loke were not far behind them, the two men sprinting in the opposite direction and out of the camp.
"That was being a little too generous don't you think?" Knightwalker asked Percy, her spear at the ready in her hands.
"Nah, he's just being fair," Gildarts replied, "None of them would stand a chance if we all piled on them straight away."
"True, but that doesn't mean that I won't crush them if I come across them in the forest." Percy nodded as he swung his sword, testing the weight of his new blade. "If they don't have the sense to hide from us, or at least to avoid fighting a stronger foe that they don't stand a chance of beating, then they don't deserve to be S-Class."
"So does that mean you won't be holding back?" Gildarts asked with a grin.
"Yup," Percy nodded, popping the 'p'. "Everyone remember though, we're not to actively seek them out. We just walk around the island. If we find them then we can engage, otherwise we leave them be!"
Everyone nodded at that, even Natsu.
"Good, now let's head out!" Percy grinned, resting his sword on his shoulder as he looked out at the surrounding forest.
( - )
(At the same time, on an approaching airship out at sea)
"The time has finally come." A tall, bearded, grey haired old man clad in a cloak, and with an eyepatch covering one of his eyes said, his voice deep and confident as he looked around at his gathered subordinates. "Soon we will be arriving at Tenrou Island, and our mission, the goal which we have fought and killed for, will finally come to fruition. Soon we will arrive at the island, and when we do, we will find Zeref and unseal him. We have all the keys, we know where he is. All that is left to do is to invade Tenrou Island, crush any who get in our way, and find him!"
Standing in front of the tall, old man, the seven waiting mages all nodded. Some of them smirking in anticipation for what was to come. Whilst others meanwhile just looked on stonily, not a hint of emotion on their faces as they awaited their orders.
Six of these mages' were members of the elite group, 'The Seven Sins of Purgatory'. A group which was made up of the strongest members of the Dark Guild, Grimoire Heart, save of course for their Guild Master, Hades, and their Ace, Bluenote Stinger.
Each and every member of this elite group wielded a power, a rare Lost Magic; and had blooded themselves in dozens, if not hundreds, of battles and fights over their years of service to the Dark Guild.
They were the best of the best, and some of the strongest Dark Wizards in Fiore; and currently they were all assembled to invade Tenrou Island and find the Black Mage, Zeref.
"There is one problem, Master Hades." A tall, voluptuous, dark haired woman, and the leader of the Seven Sins spoke up, her dark, smoky eyes fixed on the imposing, bearded man in front of her. "The strongest Wizarding Guild in all of Fiore... Fairy Tail; the same Guild that destroyed Oración Seis, a corner of the Balam Alliance, has its' core members on that island. From what my sources say, they are undertaking their S-Class trials…"
"So what? That doesn't mean anything." A short, wild looking man with red eyes and spiky blond hair grinned crazily, even as his clenched fists became enshrouded in black fire. "I'll just turn every one of them into a pile of ash!"
As he finished speaking the blonde threw his head back and started cackling away like a mad man.
"We should not underestimate our opponents." Another remember of the seven, an anthropomorphic goat commented blithely, the blacked out sunglasses that covered his eyes glinting as he looked around at the others.
"Put they're so puny!" Another member of the group, this one a hulking, pale skinned man with matted, shaggy black hair and a cloak grunted inarticulately. The massive man, oddly enough playing with a little doll as he spoke, and strangely childlike expression his face.
"Do not underestimate them, Zancrow, Cain; like Capriccio just said" The dark haired woman replied softly "Makarov Dreyar, Gildarts Clive and Perseus, are all on that island. Each of them alone is more than a match for any one of us. It will take the entire might of the Seven Sins to take them down."
"Leave Makarov Dreyar to me," Hades said softly, his words instantly catching the attention of the rest of the group. "I can deal with the boy quite easily. Then after that I will face my old friend, Perseus. Bluenote?"
A tall, cloaked man at the far end of the assembled group of mages shifted.
"I take it you can deal with Gildarts Clive for me?" Hades continued.
"I'll see how well he flies." Bluenote nodded casually, his soft, but powerful voice making several of the Seven Sins start to shift about uncomfortably.
"As you say, Master Hades," Another member of the Guild, a thin, rakish looking bespectacled man said, his lips quirking upwards in amusement. "We shall deal with the riffraff, and leave the God of Fairies to you!"
"Six of you will deal with the leftovers, Rustyrose. Once I have dealt with Makarov however, Ultear will then assist me in eliminating Perseus," Hades replied, his gaze flicking away from the bespectacled man and instead over to the dark haired woman.
The now named Ultear bowing her head in acknowledgement, her eyes blazing with a mixture of hunger and anger as she broke eye contact with Hades and instead stared down at the floor.
"Your orders have been understood, Master." The final member of the group, a young girl with short pink hair and a tiara with wings over her ears nodded, her green eyes devoid of all emotion as she glanced at Hades for a moment, and then over at Ultear.
"Can you fight, Meledy?" Ultear asked, her expression once again calm and tranquil as she looked over to the younger girl; a gentle smile slowly spreading across her face as she ignored Zancrow, Rustyrose and Cain's posturing and instead focused on the youngest, but far from the weakest, member of the Seven.
Meledy thought for a moment, and then nodded. "Fight... yes... every member of Fairy Tail will be purged… especially Perseus…"
Ultear's smile faded and her expression hardened. "You said you understood Master Hades' orders, Meledy. The Master and I will deal with him, your objective is the remaining members of the Fairy Tail."
Meledy looked like she wanted to object, but in the end merely nodded and then said nothing more.
"Then we are agreed," Hades spoke up, his words and the menacing tone of his voice causing the other seven in the room to fall silent. "The Fairy Tail Guild, they don't yet know what true darkness is. That absolute darkness which lurks in the abyss... tonight demons and fairies will dance together. Eat and be proud, or be eaten and scatter. This is the decisive battle, Fairy Tail…"

AN: So a moderately sized chapter just to get me into the swing of things again. I hope you enjoyed the chapter, it sets up what is sure to be a few more exciting chapters to come, which will include plenty of action and intrigue. I am going to have fun playing around with the ideas I have about certain names that are used in Fairy Tail, both for Guilds and for characters, which have a Greek theme or origins.
That said I thanks a lot for reading, and for your continued support, I really do appreciate it. I hope you continue to read, review and support, and have a look at my other stories to if you have the chance, both on my Seagate profile and my Greed720 profile. Again I will start dusting off my Seagate stories and see what I want to do with them, and start updating too, hopefully.
Thanks for reading, and I'll catch you later.
Seagate.
