A devil was toss and turning in his sleep as they were even sweating profoundly as if they were having a nightmare but this just very vivid dream. One that they did not have that often but seem to get from time to time. The devil in question was Diodora Astaroth and the dream he was having was a run he had with Ranko from a few years ago.
Traveling around he was actually looking into ways to acquire Asia Argento as part of his peerage. After all he had interest in making nuns an holy maiden into joining him. He enjoy the act of setting them up for a fall from grace and then coming in as their savior at their lowest point. He was thinking about how to do this to Asia as she was traveling around in the nearby area.
Though seemingly out of nowhere a red hair girl appeared before him. She was giving off such killing intent that seemed to just radiate off her in almost visible form. Diodora locked eyes with her for a moment but then immediately found himself staring up at the sky. He was lying on the ground in pool of his own blood. The red hair girl was nowhere to be seen and he actually thought he was going to die but luck was in his favor. Before he could die from the wound he was given Asia came across him and managed to heal him from his injuries.
Diodora awoke from his slumber clutching his chest as there was a giant scar on his there and also how he got her got kicked out of the church for healing him. At first he just he just thought that he had made up the girl that attack him that day as he was Diodora a member of the Astaroth clan. Some random girl should not be able to cause that much harm to him at all. Though when he learned she was indeed real that when he started to desire having her under him as well. She probably was not a nun or a holy maiden but there was just a desire that form within him for her.
That vestige of the red hair girl from that day. He wanted it all to himself as Diodora knew it was strange to desire a girl that radiated killing intent like that. However whatever cause such a thing to happen peak his interest and his desire to control it. To have that power under his command and to see the red hair girl he learned was named Ranko. To have her dyed in that power fully as it seemed like corruption equal to that when he fully broke a nuns and/or holy maiden. The expressions of pain, sadness, and despair they show and their desire to do whatever he wanted of them after appearing as their savior. He found to be an ultimate form of entertainment.
Though to prepare for going after Ranko. He continued his previous goal of adding Asia to his peerage as he wanted her healing powers on his side. After all he need to be prepared as Ranko would be the most dangerous target he desired to capture in quite a while.
However this was where a problem was emerging as both Asia and Ranko were becoming harder and harder to go after. To the point where he might just have to focus all his efforts on just one of them only.
"Do I go after Asia or Ranko" he said to himself as he started pacing around the room as this decision was starting to consume his thought.

Then he declared in a rather loud voice
"I must have both"
Though to obtain both he would have to change his tactics though as trying to get both them at once would require a level of dedication that he has not used in quite a while. Getting in rather close yet to them both while having things set up so that they can both be broken at pretty much the same time. Allow for him to pick up the pieces and thus adding them to his collection.
To carry out this new plan as Diodora as such he would have to get in contact with his allies about a change of plans when it came to Asia. Even though they are already changed drastically thanks to Raynare's change of heart. Yet another one was not going to annoy him that much as he could be patient when it came to acquiring new girls to his collection after all.
Though he was a little worried about just how strong Ranko could be in that state that caught his attention and also left him with such a large scar. She was merely a human thus how strong could she truly be.
It's not like she is in the leagues of say the Wanderer, one the strongest humans alive at the moment. It was nearly a decade ago now that the Wanderer first got noticed by the world at large. Diodora was there for reason that to this day he did not fully understand. Though what he witnessed that day was brawl that leveled an entire special ward of Tokyo. The person that would later become known as the Wanderer was apparently fighting someone that managed to kill someone of the Phenex bloodline.
Of course, what Diodora did not want to admit was that there was someone that had the potential to have that much strength. Thus what he was currently doing was merely trying to rationalize why he lost so badly and easily. Thinking that because he was so caught off guard that why he ended in such a sorry state at the time. Though not facing the truth or even giving a thought to the possibility. Cause Diodora to miss two very important key factors that while not openly obvious was there. Only if you knew what questions to ask and how to ask them to get the proper answer.
