A sense of relief floods through her when Martian Manhunter finally accepts entering her mind. She does feel a bit bad for him that he hesitated for so long to do something that is so natural to him, she can only imagine how badly he's been treated about that particular power. She spends the next few minutes explaining everything while sharing certain memories with him. She explains how long she's known about everyone in the caped community. How her own adventures started and all of the dangers in the time period they find themselves in. how she really needs them to listen to her, follow her lead, and trust her. She has a pretty good idea of how to get them home, but it'll take a few days to a week (depending on what they encounter on their way there) to get there. She has no idea what is waiting for them between here and the well, especially with how quiet it's been the past week.

After what seems like an eternity of explaining she falls silent, anxiety flowing through her about how he'll react. Martian Manhunter is one of the more neutral-thinking League members, so if she can convince him that his group will need to follow the lead of someone much younger than them and help her convince the rest of them it will make her life SO much easier.

Finally Martian Manhunter answers, "You have been through a lot."

Kagome has to hold back a derisive snort, "That is one way of putting it, yes. Will you help me?"

After a moment's consideration, J'onn nods, "Yes, I believe I will. Your thoughts and memories showed nothing but good intentions and you have to most experience in this situation." He goes to sit down on the log next to the younger girl, "To ask my question from earlier, did you see anybody else around when we appeared?"

"No," Kagome shakes her head, "There weren't any lingering traces of anyone. The arrival of your barrier spooked a couple of lower-level youkai, but other than that there wasn't anyone around. Shippo and I were on our way to a nearby village when your barrier appeared out of nowhere. Whatever transferred you guys here it wasn't from my side of time."

"That is unfortunate, your father will not appreciate no immediate answers."

This time she can't hold back a snort, "Oh, don't I know it. While I may not have too much first-hand experience with the version of him under the cowl, I have heard MANY stories from Jason and Damian. I'm really not looking forward to this. I truly never anticipated having to tell him anything about this. Though, at the same time I didn't expect it to take this long either. I thought I'd be done with this within the first year, and here I am four years later."

"I do not wish to out you more than this situation is already forcing your hand, what all are you going to tell your father once he awakens?"

Kagome lets out a hum of thought, "Well, not telling him anything about the feudal era and my powers are out. There is no way I won't have to use my powers between here and the well, I'm not that lucky. If I can manage it, however, I would like to keep the fact that I know that Batman is my father a secret. He can't be too hard on me as long as he doesn't think I know it's him. Will you help me keep that bit a secret? I mean I know it's a lot to ask, and you are more on his side since you've known him longer and you're on the same team." She ends up rambling a bit, him having full access to her mind means he probably gets even more information than she actively thinks. She's been told on multiple occasions that she wears her heart on her sleeve and she has to believe that is also true with the thoughts within her own mind.

"As I said young one, I will not out your secrets more than I have to. Not unless it is necessary, as in life or death. Your wishes of wanting your father to tell you himself are well founded and I will not breach that."

Relief once again floods through her, "Thank you," she earnestly says before a devious smirk appears on her face, "Since you're in the know now, would you like to join in on the bets? The rules are you can bet however much you want on whatever scenario you want, but you can't outright tell Dad that I know. You can, however, do your best to keep him in the dark to further your own bets. Both Jason and Cass have run interference a couple of times to save their own bets."

Now, Kagome didn't really expect him to accept. For the most part, from the stories she's heard, the man tends to keep to himself. He spends most of his time on the Watchtower when he's not needed for a fight, mission, or press release. So, when he gives her a soft smile and says "You know what, I think I'd like that." She can't stop the large grin that takes over her face.

"Really?!"

"Why not. What are the current bets?"

She can feel herself practically wiggling in place in her excitement, "My bet is 200 dollars that he won't figure it out until I tell him straight to his face. Jason's is 300 on finding out accidentally through someone else. Cass has 150 on him overhearing me talking about it to someone else, which isn't out of the question because that is how Roy found out. As such Roy put in 80 bucks on the same bet. Damian joined in on my bet with 1,000 dollars because he's super extra. Harley even threw in a 400-dollar bet on that I'll accidentally call him dad when he's in Batman mode, which also isn't out of the question which is why I tend to try and avoid Batman as much as I can. Though those are just the bets about Dad. Bets are open for pretty much everyone in the family, even anyone in the League if you so feel like it."

"Is there a minimum amount of money to place a bet?"

"Nope, you could bet a single dollar if you wanted to. The betting pool is mostly for fun, so it's not super strict or anything. You just need to state your bet and then confirm it with Grandpa Alfred as he's doing to bookkeeping for it."

J'onn tilts his head in consideration a moment before saying, "I would like to believe in your wish and say 20 dollars that he tells you himself, eventually."

Kagome raises an eyebrow at him, "That would be nice, but I hope you know how unlikely that is. He's had me for seventeen years of my life, and while I can understand not telling me when I was little and had a motor mouth, he could've told me once I hit double digits. But I will note your bet and message Alfred when we get back to write you in."

Mental silence falls between them for a moment, as the small clearing has already been quiet since the moment they started speaking mentally, "I should probably start waking them up, so we can get going to where you want to set up camp for tonight."

"I would appreciate that, Martian Manhunter."

"Since you already know my civilian name, you may call me J'onn when we speak mentally. It would probably be too suspicious if you called me that out loud, however."

He gets another large smile in answer, "Thank you, J'onn!"

He gives her a smile in return before turning his attention onto his teammates to begin to wake them up. It doesn't take long for his mental prodding to make progress as groans and slight movements started emanating from the unconscious people. Doing all he can to wake them up gently he goes back to a mental conversation with Kagome Wayne. Something that he finds refreshingly comforting.

Batman wakes up quickly but hides all signs of it. Thankfully with his mask, he can open up his eyes and have nobody be the wiser. Suspicion burns through him when he finds himself outside. Somewhere that is definitely NOT the Watchtower's main meeting room. From the angle he's lying in he can see a few of his fellow League members, all of them in the process of waking up themselves. That isn't his main concern, however. Sitting on a fallen tree a few feet away is his daughter, smiling at J'onn. Neither looks like they are concerned, so he hopes that there is no immediate danger nearby. He hates it when his daughter gets kidnapped, or roped into one of his Rouges' plots. He can somewhat understand the Gotham Rogues grabbing her for something, though how they found her from her travels through Japan he has no idea as he can't even find her once she leaves her shrine. What worries him more is one of the Justice League's Rogues may have taken her for something, why else would she be here with his fellow League members? Suddenly his daughter laughs and slight confusion fills him before a thought dawn on him, are they talking mentally? Why?

The first one besides himself that fully wakes up is Shayera and he has to hold back a wince. He wanted to gather more data before showing his hand that he's awake, but that particular teammate of his is rather hotheaded. He just hopes that J'onn will protect his daughter if it comes down to it. It's not like none of them don't know about Kagome, once the team found out about his identity he didn't have to hold back about talking about his kids. Since Kagome is the only one that isn't involved in any caped activities, he tends to talk about her the most as they hear a lot of stories about his other kids through others. He's so proud of his normal kid. He is going to be very cross if some of the League's enemies dragged his daughter into something. How they even know about her he has no idea, there is no reason for any Rogues outside of Gotham to kidnap the daughter of Bruce Wayne.

Shayera wakes up with an angry roar, leaping to her feet and reaching for a mace that she doesn't have. Once she realizes that her weapon is missing her rage builds, her gaze catching on J'onn and Kagome. She completely ignores the fact that J'onn isn't attacking her, and is in fact sitting peacefully next to her, and launches herself at Kagome with a battle yell. Forgoing the act of unconsciousness in an attempt to stop Hawkgirl from attacking his daughter he jumps up with a yell.

"Hawkgirl, stand down!" he bellows out, but to his horror, she doesn't stop.

The combination of Hawkgirl's yelling and his own yelling catches the attention of the two sitting on the log. J'onn stands up in an attempt to calm the Thanagarian but will, unfortunately, be too slow. His world seems to slow to a crawl when he realizes that his daughter is about to be punched with the full strength of Hawkgirl. Then to his ultimate surprise, Kagome springs to her feet and throws out her arms. A deep pink force field or barrier springs up out of nowhere, surrounding both his daughter and J'onn. Now, he knows that isn't one of J'onn's powers, nor is it an ability of anyone present. To his ever-building confusion and horror, he realizes that his daughter is the one that created the barrier.

The Thanagarian plows into the barrier, but doesn't penetrate it. She simply bounces off of it. She once again roars her rage, "Villain!"

Kagome gives Hawkgirl an unimpressed look while at the same time raising her hands in the international sign of, I mean no harm, "Please stop that and calm down. I am not the one who attacked you, nor do I mean you any harm. I am simply the one that found you here and I'm here to offer you help."

Hawkgirl's gaze goes down to the pile of equipment laying at Kagome's feet, "You are a liar and a thief, girl."

Kagome groans, why does she always get stuck with the hotheaded ones? She could do with a bit less impulsiveness, "When the barrier that brought you here broke it scattered your equipment around the area. I was oh so kind to collect it all for you. Well, I hope it's all of it. It's all I could find anyway. I could have just ignored all of you and kept walking, but I didn't. I've been watching over you since the moment you arrived here."

J'onn steps forward, "Hawkgirl, calm yourself. I have been awake for a few minutes now and have deemed her an ally. It may also help you to know that this is the daughter of Bruce Wayne. Someone who would be rather mad about the fact that you attacked his only daughter by birth."

That seems to break through Hawkgirl's rage as her eyes go wide, in slight fear, to really get a look at the girl she was attempting to attack. She forces her anger down and really takes in the girl. Fear for her well-being fills her as she finally recognizes Batman's daughter. Oh gods, she very nearly attacked and hurt BATMAN'S daughter. He may not talk to her all that much about his daughter, but he let all of his teammates know about her just in case she finds herself in danger. And she hears stories he's told other people through the gossip vine. Kagome Wayne is a top priority to save as she is not involved in crime fighting or the caped community.

In the time it takes her to calm down the rest of the team wakes up, the last one getting to their feet right that moment. She forces herself to take some calm breaths.

"If I lower the barrier you won't attack, will you?" Kagome Wayne asks calmly, and cautiously. Smart girl.

"I will not attack you. I apologize for my recklessness. I assumed you a threat." Hawkgirl tells her, praying that the girl forgives her so Batman won't stay upset with her too long. Being on the Dark Knight's bad side is NOT a good experience.

"Okay, I'm holding you to that." The pink barrier dissipates into nothingness like it had never existed in the first place.

A bad feeling starts building in Bruce's stomach. A reaction time like that is instinctual, something well-practiced. His daughter is a Meta human, somehow as he knows that she doesn't have the Meta-gene, and did not feel like she could tell him. She has to have known about her powers for a while… and she didn't tell him. Feeling like he's failed as a father hits him hard once again, but this is the first time he's felt like this with Kagome. He had thought he did really well with his daughter; they've never gotten into any big fights, she's always told him everything growing up (he remembers fondly how she used to barge into his office and tell him all about her day), they were so close… so why? Why hasn't she told him? He knows that she's grown a bit distant since she decided she wanted to get away from the social spotlight in Gotham and finish up her schooling in Japan with her mother, but he never thought she drifted this far where she wouldn't even tell her that she has powers. What can she all do? Obviously, she can create barriers, but is that it? Or is there more?

"May we have access to our gear, Miss Wayne?" Superman asks ever the peacemaker, not that he has any gear to grab but he knows that some of his fellow teammates will feel better having their gear back.

Kagome looks down at the gear like she forgot it was there and she blushes slightly, "Oh, yeah, go ahead. Um… You'll have to let me know if any of you are still missing anything. As I said earlier, this is everything that I found. Some pieces were launched pretty far, so it's possible I missed something. And um… please don't call me Wayne here, I'd rather not have people with grudges know who I am. Please just call me Kagome."

Without saying much they all moved forward to dig through the pile of gear and grab their own things.

Wonder Woman grabbed her two items and gave the girl a better look. The feel of the girl's power had stuck itself as familiar though she can't put her finger on just why it is familiar. Time to test the waters, "Where are we Kagome?"

Kagome gives her full attention to Wonder Woman, almost like she knows that this is the moment she's going to get outed, "You are currently in Japan."

"There is more to it than that, is there not? Our surroundings look nothing like what I know of Japan."

A nervous chuckle escapes the younger girl, "Yeah, you're right. Let me be more specific, you are currently in feudal-era Japan. 500 years in the past from what you are used to."

Silence falls over everyone as they stare unbelieving at her.

"What?" Flash dumbly asks, breaking the silence.

Kagome pins him with a small smirk, "Yeah, I know it sounds unbelievable. Trust me, when I first found myself here I was in full denial. But it's true. I know how I got here, but I have no idea how you all got transported here. I do have a pretty good idea of how to get you guys back to the future though. Well, I'm hoping so. I figure the same thing that lets me travel from our time to 500 years in the past should in theory work for you guys as well. I'll lead you there starting tomorrow, it's too dangerous to travel at night and we are losing daylight fast now. I do want to warn you that it'll take at minimum a couple of days to walk there since you know… no vehicles to use. But it's still pretty dangerous during the day, so anything between here and Kaede's village may slow us down a bit. It could take us up to a week to reach there."

"How are you here? If what you are saying is true?" Bruce finds himself asking.

Kagome fidgets in place for a moment before trying to act nonchalant as she shrugs, "I got dragged down my family well by a youkai four years ago. Found out I was born with an extremely powerful jewel inside of me, which got bitten out by said youkai. I was trapped in the past for a few days, where I accidentally shattered the jewel, before I figured out that the well was a two-way trip. However, I'm one of the only ones that can sense the jewel shards, and the only trustworthy one that I know about. It's my fault the jewel got broken in the first place, so It's my responsibility to gather the shards and put it back together. Though, I'm not the only person trying to do that. Practically anyone that finds a shard is corrupted by it, ah but not me my power purifies the corruption, and we usually have to fight to get the shard back. That and Naraku, he's someone who is completely evil and wants the whole jewel for himself. I've been traveling between our present and the feudal era for four years now to try and find all the shards and stop Naraku."

Superman gives his friend a look and sees that he's practically blue screening with the fact that his daughter has been fighting for her life for the past four years without his knowledge. He decides to take control of the situation, "Kagome, as far as I'm aware you don't have any powers or the Meta-gene. So… how did you make that barrier?"

"Oh, um… when I got dragged down the well my natural born powers got awakened. I'm not a Meta human, at least not technically. I would probably fall under the Meta Protection Act, but I don't have the Meta-gene. Unfortunately, my powers are Kami given. Blessed by the gods yet naturally born with them. It's confusing and annoying. I've found I can do a bunch of things, but that isn't really important at the moment." Kagome does her best to explain and give them as little information at the moment.

"Uh, I don't seem to have my bow." Green Arrow cuts in, not really wanting to interrupt but also wanting his bow. If they really are in a dangerous area he doesn't want to be useless if a fight pops up. It interests him that he can see that Kagome has a bow of her own strapped to her back. A quick glance at her hands lets him find the familiar callouses of prolonged bow usage on her fingers. He has to hold back the glee that Batman's daughter is an archer.

She turns to give him her attention and nods like she already knows that, "Oh, yeah. Sorry. Your bow got blown really far so Shippo went to go collect it."

"Who is Shippo?" Batman asks.

A blush flushes across her face as she gives her best non-answer, "You don't think that I've been traveling across feudal Japan all by myself do you? I have a pretty good travel party, though the one I have now isn't the one I started with. Shippo has been with me since basically the beginning though."

"That does not answer my question." Batman growls.

Kagome is about to snark back when Shippo's yoki suddenly pings much closer on her radar. In the next moment, she feels Shippo hop up and cling to her back, the bow that is much larger than him clasped in his one hand, "I got it, Mama! It was super high up in the tree, almost to the tippy top. I listened and took my time climbing though. Here you go, Mama."

"Mom?" Flash squeaks out and can't help but shoot Batman a quick shocked glance, whom he notices has frozen in shock. Again. If they weren't in such an unknown situation they all probably would've enjoyed how in the dark Batman is about his own daughter.

Kagome laughs as she ruffles her son's hair, ignoring the surprised mutterings around her and her father's frozen state, and takes the bow out of his grasp, "Yeah, apparently adopting orphans with tragic backstories is a family trait. Honestly, at this point, I just feel bad for Damian. It's not looking so good for him."

A snort of humor escapes Flash before he can stop it. He throws a hand over his mouth as if to hide the sound.

She gives him an amused look, "I take it you've met my youngest brother?"

"On a few occasions, yeah. We've happened to run into each other." Flash answers her.

"He's rescued him from a couple of kidnappings," Bruce growls out, trying to cover his tracks. He glares at the speedster.

"Ah, right." Flash agrees quickly.

Kagome only laughs again, "You have my condolences, Damian is a proud kid. He gets very snippy after he gets kidnapped."

Flash grins at her, happy that the girl has a sense of humor. He's never had the chance to meet Kagome, not at Flash or Barry Allen. He's heard a lot of stories, but never anything in person. He has a feeling he's going to get along great with her. How a girl like her came from a guy like Batman he has no idea.

Kagome walks over and holds out the bow to Green Arrow, "I do believe this is yours, Sir."

"Ah, no need for Sir. Green Arrow is just fine. Thank you, Kiddo." He directs the last comment to the small boy clinging to her back.

"No problem. Climbing trees is fun." Shippo smiles at the blond man.

Wonder Woman steps closer to her, "You said that your powers were blessed upon you by the gods?"

"Uh, yeah?" Kagome answers.

"Mama is a Miko. A really powerful Miko!" Shippo answers eagerly, always happy to brag about his mom.

Diana's eyes grow wide as all of the puzzle pieces suddenly click together. While Themyscira mostly worships what the rest of the world views as the Greek Gods and Goddesses, they are aware of other religions and their histories. The Japanese stories of the Shikon Miko had made their way to their shores. They adore any strong female fighter. A powerful Miko, fighting for a powerful jewel. She falls to one knee and bows in front of the young woman, "My lady Miko, it is an honor to meet your acquaintance."

Kagome squeaks in surprise and waves her hands in front of her, "Oh, no. Please don't do that. I am not one for titles. Please stand up. I'm really not anyone special."

Diana does stand, but pierces her with a fierce look, "You are the Shikon Miko, are you not?"

Kagome groans and shifts uncomfortably, "Unfortunately that is my title, yes."

"You are a legendary warrior, whose tale has reached even the shores of Themyscira," Diana tells her. She can feel Bruce's gaze on her but she ignores it for now. She's reeling from the new information that Bruce's daughter is one of the legendary warriors that she heard about growing up.

Kagome gives her a considering look, tilting her head in thought, "Can you tell me the story? How does it end?"

Shippo bounces on her shoulder, "Do we beat Naraku?!"

"Well, of course, I can tell you the story. I heard it multiple times growing up. A powerful Miko appeared out of nowhere one day and started fighting the evil spider demon while gathering the scattered shards of the Shikon jewel. A powerful jewel rumored to give immense strength and power and to even grant wishes. With her group of allies, they had a variety of adventures and battles." Diana trails off as she realizes something odd. She can't remember how it ends. How? She's heard this story plenty of times.

Kagome seems to understand her problem as she smiles oddly, "So, how does it end?"

"Why don't I remember?" She asks instead of giving an answer.

"Because it's still happening, Wonder Woman. You can't know the end of a story that hasn't ended yet. It would be nice to know if we win against Naraku, though. At the rate we're going and how much of a coward Naraku is I've had my doubts."

"Mama," Shippo interrupts and points at the sky, "If we don't start moving soon it'll be dark already by the time we get to the meeting area."

"Right, thank you, Baby." She turns around and picks up her backpack. It kinda sucks that she's going to have to forgo stocking up at the village but getting to a safe camping spot takes priority. She flips the backpack onto her back, Shippo expertly dodging it before re-making himself comfortable on her back.

Her having turned around finally gave the League members a clearer look at Shippo, who until that moment has been mostly hidden behind her. While his pointy ears gave away that he wasn't fully human from the back they see his fox tail and fox paws instead of feet. She can feel the shift in energy behind her and she steels herself to defend her son. She's had to do it plenty of times within the past four years, but she really hopes she won't have to do the same with the Justice League. She means, come on, they have aliens on their team. There are three aliens and a demigoddess here right now! She better not have to defend her son's inhumanness to this group.

"Oh my gosh, he has a tail," Black Canary breaths out, nearly cooing at the adorable sight.

"Is he a Metahuman? I didn't think the Meta-gene was that old. Isn't it a much newer thing?" Flash asks, questioning his own knowledge about the gene he has himself.

"No, Shippo isn't a Metahuman. He's a Kitsune, a fox youkai. He can be a bit of a troublemaker, but he's not a danger to anyone." She informs them, with no room for argument in her tone.

Shippo, completely missing the warning tone to her voice pulls on her shirt, "I am not a troublemaker!" he pouts at her, "I am a very good boy."

Kagome sends her son a deadpanned look, "All your Kitsune tricks, Soten, woo-ing the cute village girls, picking fights you can't follow up,"

"OK, OK! Stop it! I get it, Mama." Shippo interrupts her as he whines/yells and gives quick looks to the Justice League members who all have humored looks on their faces. He lets out a quiet squeak and hides himself behind his mom to avoid the gazes.

Flash and Green Lantern can't help it as they break out in laughter. They try to stop as tiny green eyes peak back over Kagome's shoulder in a glare, but the look is more cute than intimidating and their laughter increases.

Kagome flashes them a smile before turning and starting to walk away, "Follow me if you want a guide in the feudal era and your best chance back home, or not. Your choice I suppose. I'm not wasting any more time though." She doesn't give them much of a choice as she just keeps walking into the forest.

The Justice League members stood there silently for a moment before Martian Manhunter speaks up.

"She allowed me to view her memories to convince me of the situation we find ourselves in. I highly suggest we follow her." He tells them before doing just that.

The rest of the members share a look before following after Kagome and their Martian friend. Bruce frowns in contemplation, just what had J'onn been able to see? And why isn't he offering up more information? The option of following Kagome or not following her hadn't even been an option for him. Of course, he's going with his daughter. He has so many questions right now, and he has to phrase them carefully so as to not hint to Kagome that he's her father. This is going to be a very stressful trip, he can tell already.
